Pet care experience

🤗 From pups to seniors | 20 years of loving care

❤️ I treat every dog as if they were my own. While I've always loved animals, my previous career prevented me from having my own pets - which means your dog gets all my pent-up affection and attention! I’ll be delighted to send you regular updates. 🧘‍♀️My one-bedroom duplex in Chorlton provides a calm, comfortable environment for boarding, and my flexible work-from-home schedule means dogs have company all day.

Doggy Day Care • Nov 04, 2025

Candace was fantastic! I contacted her at v short notice & she was super accommodating & made Mae feel so welcome in her lovely pooch friendly home. She gave me regular updates and gave Mae a lovely fun safe day of pup sitting. She went the extra mile - thanks so much!

Candace was absolutely fab with my golden retriever Barney. We arranged a pre-meet for her to meet him, which she was so receptive and open to. During Barneys stay with her, we received loads of pup-dates and a diary of what they did, which was amazing for an anxious mum like myself. Barney returned super happy and tired from his long walks, and I loved seeing the pictures of him bouncing through the fields. We will certainly be booking in again ! Thanks Candace!

Nellie had such a great time with Candace, lots of walks, playing and she even taught Nellie a new trick! We got lots of updates which are really appreciated and we picked up a very happy dog. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Thank you!

I currently have a deaf podenco, he is timid, wary and fearful of most people. I don't recall him ever showing any fear of Candace, being happy to sit with, and be walked by her. Candace takes the greatest care to meet the personal needs of the animals she is trusted to walk and/or care for, treating each as an individual and following any instructions and guidance given. I wouldn't hesitate to have Candace care for my doggos.

Candy has looked after our Border Terrier Bertie on numerous occasions and I cannot think of anyone more dedicated to the role of dog sitter. She adores dogs and lavishes time and attention on her charges. She does little bits of training with Bertie and achieves the perfect balance of love, care and discipline. Whoever looks after your precious dog, you need to feel confident that they are switched on regarding safety, especially in an urban area and particularly when in charge of creatures such as terriers who can dash off at the first sniff of a prey. I know I can totally rely on Candy. I have no hesitation in recommending her as the perfect dog sitter.

Candace is the best pet sitter I have ever used. She is a natural with animals and the care she gives to my cat is second to none. I think the cat is sad to come home to us! She comes home happy, groomed and well rested, and I know she’s had an excellent time because I get lots of updates from Candace.

Schedule

💫 After 20 years of caring for friends' and family dogs, I've recently made the exciting transition from TV production to working from home, giving me the flexibility to welcome more dogs into my life. My journey began informally, but has grown to include everything from easing retired greyhounds into domestic life to training energetic puppies and providing gentle care for senior dogs.

Safety, trust & environment

I have a large garden but the fence is not secure so dogs are always kept on a lead. Luckily I'm only 5 mins walk from Chorlton Ees, and 20 from Chorlton and Sale water park.

A typical day

🐕 Doggy day care typically includes two to four walks in Chorlton Ees nature reserve dependant on their needs plus lots of playtime. 🚀 The extra mile:
happy to continue recall training, whistle training, and teaching new tricks. Whether you have a rescue dog needing confidence building, a puppy requiring more training, or a senior dog needing gentle exercise, I adapt my approach to each individual personality and energy level.
