About: Hello! Unlike some other sitters on Rover, i have a year of dog sitting experience and work experience in a kennels, cattery, riding school and small animal vet clinic. I have been caring for dogs ever since 2012 when i was around seven years old and have also had some experience with rabbits and birds around the age of 4 years old. During my work experience, i have learnt how to analyse basic animal behaviour well and have learnt how to follow a schedule of feeding times, medicine that need to be administered and how to meet the needs of both dogs and cats. I’ve helped with grooming and bathing at the kennels and i am patient at all times, giving space to animals when they need it. I am the type of pet sitter to give some advice to owners if i feel it may benefit the owners and the pet. For example, if i see your dog eats too quickly, i might recommend a slow feeding bowl to reduce chances of things such as GDV happening to your dog. I have helped two owners during my time as a pet sitter as i have noticed medical issues in their dogs such as signs of a urinary infection or epulis. If you do not want advice, please let me know beforehand as i do not tolerate rude behaviour. Im currently available at all times so whatever type of schedule you would like for your pet, i can work around. When a dog is in my own home and is sleeping over, i sleep nearby to make sure that they are comfortable and safe as that is my first priority. I give every dog at least one walk a day (or more if you would like) In my own home, i have an attached house which is kept clean at all times and it has a back garden with tall fences and no grass. Its a relatively big garden with lots of plants and vegetables around. I do have a dog of my own in the house who’s an eight year old Sproodle who is playful but is no threat to other dogs as she loves to greet them no matter the age. She is gentle with puppies and sleeps in her own bed in the kitchen. In my house, i live with two sisters and my mother. No matter the house im caring for your pet in, i will stick to a schedule and your rules however you prefer. I will make sure your pet is entertained and cared for well and will return home happy!

About: I’ve had dogs all my life, currently sharing my bed with springer spaniel named Frida. Also love cats - always looking after them when my friends are going on holiday Currently on maternity leave, enjoying time with my baby who would have to join me for all adventures I’m having. Would be awesome if my springer can come too. I am a happy springer spaniel owner, understanding the needs of working breeds, always prioritising their safety and owners requirements- if dog can be trusted off the lead or not.

About: I’ve always loved animals and grown up surrounded by them, so caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. I’ve had my own Pomeranian since I was 10, and I regularly help look after my mum’s Rottweiler. I also have experience walking and caring for dogs of different sizes and temperaments, including terriers, miniature poodles, and German Shepherds, as well as looking after pets for other owners while they’ve been away. I’m confident with both small and large dogs, and I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs. I love spending time with dogs and making sure they have all the attention they need. I currently work part time, so I have plenty of flexibility and time to spend with your dogs. Most of the time I’m able to work around your schedule and offer reliable, consistent care, whether that’s walks, check-ins, or overnight stays in your home. I always look after dogs in their own home, so they can stay in a place they know and feel comfortable in. I’m calm and confident with all kinds of dogs, including those who are a bit nervous, excitable, or need a bit more patience and understanding. I’m also happy following any routines you already have in place, whether that’s feeding, walking, grooming, or just keeping things consistent for them. After visits or walks, I like to send a quick update with a photo so you can see how your dog is doing and what they’ve been up to. If something ever seems a bit off, I’ll always let you know. For overnight stays, I’m happy to adjust how often I update you - some people like lots of updates, others prefer to relax knowing everything is taken care of, and I’m happy either way.

About: I’m a 21 year old Veterinary Medicine student in her 2nd year of Vet school. I take pride in making sure animals are healthy and happy whilst in my care. Alongside this I’ve studied an animal management BTEC course and got a grade of D*D*D*. I have a wide range of work experience alongside animals including doggy day cares, farm settings and pet shops and I’ve worked with a wide variety of animals. :) Due to university I am only available during weekends to care for your animal. During the weekends I’m available day and night. But I’ll be available more during the summer to fit around your schedule to look after your animal day and night :) I live in a bungalow so is ideal for geriatric pets and I have no other free range animals in the house. I do own a variety of reptiles but they’re kept separated and won’t bother or pose a risk to your animals. I have a fenced garden with grass which is secure and safe.

About: I have had dogs my entire life and have looked after them on and off since the age of 12. I have been to other peoples houses whist on holiday to look after different animals, including cats and rabbits. The weather does not bother me, walking in rain, snow and sunshine is a pleasure and I love lots of cuddles from a range of pets I am a full time teacher but can look after animals in the holidays full time. Weekends are very open for me and I am happy to look after animals overnight or come to your home to look after them. I have recently just moved into a town house in Chorley, just near the Nab, so there are lots of opportunities for walks. I have a reasonably sized garden that is fenced off too!

About: During the last 10 years I have boarded 100s of doggos in my own home. I now want a change of scenery and daily routine. I have been looking after doggos for the past 10 years and this is my full time occupation. I would now love to travel to different parts of the UK that I have not yet seen. I think it's time for a change apart from being in my own home 24/7! If the garden is not escape proof, like my own, I would be very vigilant all the time as I do not like the pets to be out of my sight for very long. Also, it rather depends on the particular dogs I would be looking after.

About: I absolutely love dogs (all animals really) and have had dogs in my life since being young. I currently have a Yorkshire Terrier - I have experience with dogs in heat. I also have two cats, they spend the day outside so will be no issue. Since I have had dogs from a young age I have experience with a range of different breeds so I am very used to all the different personalities dogs can have. I am super flexible due to working from home and am therefore available at short notice. I have the most experience with these breed of dogs: Basset Hounds, Yorkshire Terriers, Labradors, Border Collies, Jack Russels, West Highland Terriers and Pugs. About: I have had my own dog for over 17 years so i understand what it’s like to take care of a dog. I am such a caring person, who loves walking and miss walking a dog. It would bring me so much joy again. I currently work a full time job, Monday-Thursday, when I finish work of an everning. I love to be able to walk dogs and on my days off also as this. About: I have owned animals since I was a child from guinea pigs to cats to dogs. I currently have 2 dogs and 1 cat and a rabbit. My dog is a husky so I am used to getting out walking daily. I am available all day for drop ins and walks. I own a husky who is very kind and gentle, she gets along with other dogs but can be left at home if it is an issue. I love long walks as well as short ones and plenty of play time. I have a very big secure back garden which is great for the dogs running around or relaxing in. I have a very small for her age husky who gets along with other dogs with no issues.

About: I grew up on a farm an have always loved being around and caring for animals and dogs since a young age and have worked at a kennels in the past. I am active and will walk in any weather during my lunch break. I am currently work from home on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and home all day except for school runs so I will be available to meet your dogs needs. I have a large secure fenced garden which your furry friend can roam to they're hearts content, a comfortable and warm house and also my own lovely furry friend Brenda who is a border terrier cross, she is always up for playing! My services are available from Tuesday-Thursday offering day care and overnight stay if required. You will receive regular pupdates and pictures from your dogs stay. I'm current at home every day from Tuesday-Thursday apart from school drop off/pick up so have plenty of time to walk/play and relax with pooches along with my dog Brenda 🐕. I have a large fenced garden along with my own small dog Brenda, plenty of space to investigate 🔎 along with beautiful walks nearby including duxbury Woods.

About: I have had cats since I was little, adopting them from friends, the RSPCA or relatives. I have also owned rabbits, and dogs, in the past as an adult. My dog experience includes an excitable Border Collie, a happy-go-lucky mixed breed and a fun-loving German Shepherd. I do miss dog walks and dog cuddles, but currently one of my adopted senior cats isn't keen on dogs so I am currently a dog free house! I have looked after pets since I was about 5 or 6 so have nearly 50 years experience with animals.I work from home so if you have wifi and need a sitter in your home, I can be in most of the day with your pet. I love walking dogs on or off lead and I am happy to go with the personality of your pet, whether that's a cat that likes their own space, or a dog who wants cuddles and long outdoor walks. As for my cats, they have my Mum to look after them when I am away, so I can do overnight or longer stays. I work in education, have a car, flexibility on dates/times and I will look after your pet as if they are my own, sending lots of photos and updates. I work Monday-Friday in term-time, and work from home, with occasional meetings outside my home, depending on schedule. I usually get up, feed my cats, have breakfast, start work at 8 and if I'm in a Teams meeting online, try to keep my cats from coming into shot or stepping all over my keyboard! Sometimes I might need to do an external visit or meeting, but if so then I am back home within 1-2hrs. At tea time the cats get fed again. At the weekends my cats have to wait a little longer for breakfast if I have a lie-in. At home I have a fenced-in garden, a cat flap and litter trays. I also have a small park 5 mins walk away where I used to walk my dogs, and a larger one 10 mins drive away. I live in a very quiet cul de sac.
