About: Hello! Unlike some other sitters on Rover, i have a year of dog sitting experience and work experience in a kennels, cattery, riding school and small animal vet clinic. I have been caring for dogs ever since 2012 when i was around seven years old and have also had some experience with rabbits and birds around the age of 4 years old. During my work experience, i have learnt how to analyse basic animal behaviour well and have learnt how to follow a schedule of feeding times, medicine that need to be administered and how to meet the needs of both dogs and cats. I’ve helped with grooming and bathing at the kennels and i am patient at all times, giving space to animals when they need it. I am the type of pet sitter to give some advice to owners if i feel it may benefit the owners and the pet. For example, if i see your dog eats too quickly, i might recommend a slow feeding bowl to reduce chances of things such as GDV happening to your dog. I have helped two owners during my time as a pet sitter as i have noticed medical issues in their dogs such as signs of a urinary infection or epulis. If you do not want advice, please let me know beforehand as i do not tolerate rude behaviour. Im currently available at all times so whatever type of schedule you would like for your pet, i can work around. When a dog is in my own home and is sleeping over, i sleep nearby to make sure that they are comfortable and safe as that is my first priority. I give every dog at least one walk a day (or more if you would like) In my own home, i have an attached house which is kept clean at all times and it has a back garden with tall fences and no grass. Its a relatively big garden with lots of plants and vegetables around. I do have a dog of my own in the house who’s an eight year old Sproodle who is playful but is no threat to other dogs as she loves to greet them no matter the age. She is gentle with puppies and sleeps in her own bed in the kitchen. In my house, i live with two sisters and my mother. No matter the house im caring for your pet in, i will stick to a schedule and your rules however you prefer. I will make sure your pet is entertained and cared for well and will return home happy!

About: A lot of my background is in health care, from the elderly, to young children. But helping people feel relaxed when leaving there pets makes me happy 😃 to make new furry friends and to help paw-rents feel comfortable when leaving family, as we know it can be a very stressful time. I have a clear DBS and worked in healthcare for many years. My family has mix of dogs and cats, there all family. Furry friends

About: Whilst I don’t yet have professional experience working with dogs, I am currently pursuing a career in animal care and am committed to expanding my knowledge through canine first aid and behaviour courses. I’ve been around dogs from a young age and understand the importance of providing a calm, safe and loving environment where they can feel comfortable, play, and thrive. I’m currently transitioning from a 10-year career in IT to pursue my passion for animal care. This gives me the flexibility to offer weekday and weekend dog walks, drop-in visits and house sitting, whether you need support for a day, a weekend or an extended holiday. About: I’ve always loved animals and grown up surrounded by them, so caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. I’ve had my own Pomeranian since I was 10, and I regularly help look after my mum’s Rottweiler. I also have experience walking and caring for dogs of different sizes and temperaments, including terriers, miniature poodles, and German Shepherds, as well as looking after pets for other owners while they’ve been away. I’m confident with both small and large dogs, and I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs. I love spending time with dogs and making sure they have all the attention they need. I currently work part time, so I have plenty of flexibility and time to spend with your dogs. Most of the time I’m able to work around your schedule and offer reliable, consistent care, whether that’s walks, check-ins, or overnight stays in your home. I always look after dogs in their own home, so they can stay in a place they know and feel comfortable in. I’m calm and confident with all kinds of dogs, including those who are a bit nervous, excitable, or need a bit more patience and understanding. I’m also happy following any routines you already have in place, whether that’s feeding, walking, grooming, or just keeping things consistent for them. After visits or walks, I like to send a quick update with a photo so you can see how your dog is doing and what they’ve been up to. If something ever seems a bit off, I’ll always let you know. For overnight stays, I’m happy to adjust how often I update you - some people like lots of updates, others prefer to relax knowing everything is taken care of, and I’m happy either way.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life, currently sharing my bed with springer spaniel named Frida. Also love cats - always looking after them when my friends are going on holiday Currently on maternity leave, enjoying time with my baby who would have to join me for all adventures I’m having. Would be awesome if my springer can come too. I am a happy springer spaniel owner, understanding the needs of working breeds, always prioritising their safety and owners requirements- if dog can be trusted off the lead or not.

About: I have had cats since I was little, adopting them from friends, the RSPCA or relatives. I have also owned rabbits, and dogs, in the past as an adult. My dog experience includes an excitable Border Collie, a happy-go-lucky mixed breed and a fun-loving German Shepherd. I do miss dog walks and dog cuddles, but currently one of my adopted senior cats isn't keen on dogs so I am currently a dog free house! I have looked after pets since I was about 5 or 6 so have nearly 50 years experience with animals.I work from home so if you have wifi and need a sitter in your home, I can be in most of the day with your pet. I love walking dogs on or off lead and I am happy to go with the personality of your pet, whether that's a cat that likes their own space, or a dog who wants cuddles and long outdoor walks. As for my cats, they have my Mum to look after them when I am away, so I can do overnight or longer stays. I work in education, have a car, flexibility on dates/times and I will look after your pet as if they are my own, sending lots of photos and updates. I work Monday-Friday in term-time, and work from home, with occasional meetings outside my home, depending on schedule. I usually get up, feed my cats, have breakfast, start work at 8 and if I'm in a Teams meeting online, try to keep my cats from coming into shot or stepping all over my keyboard! Sometimes I might need to do an external visit or meeting, but if so then I am back home within 1-2hrs. At tea time the cats get fed again. At the weekends my cats have to wait a little longer for breakfast if I have a lie-in. At home I have a fenced-in garden, a cat flap and litter trays. I also have a small park 5 mins walk away where I used to walk my dogs, and a larger one 10 mins drive away. I live in a very quiet cul de sac.

About: I have owned dogs for over 10 years and have experience with most sizes! My family at home have a Beauceron x Rottweiler so I am used to large, strong dogs. We also used to have a whippet, and both dogs were rescues so I also have experience with dogs with little to no recall and who love to try and slip their lead LOL! Our beauceron x is now over 15 so I have experience with older dogs and I understand their needs. I currently have a little Peke who lives with me. She is spayed and very unbothered by other dogs as she comes from a farm so hopefully our pets will make great friends! I am a laidback but firm pet owner. I have a little experience training my dogs so if you need any training worked on/ reinforced during your pets stay with me please let me know and I can work with you! I currently work Mon-Friday 9-5, so I am mostly available on weekends. When looking after your pet I will not have any plans so I can ensure their happiness and safety. I live in a top floor flat so if your pet is staying with me they must be happy with stairs or being carried. I live next to a large green space so they can have a nice walk. I will aim to bring your pet out every 2-4 hours depending on their energy levels/ toilet needs. Overnight the last toilet break will be around 9pm and the first morning walk is at 7.30am. This is flexible so just let me know of any specific requirements!

About: Experienced with dogs from puppies to senior dogs, managing mediation, 1:1 walks completely adaptable to suit specific needs. Meal management. Enrichment. Crate training. DBS checked and insured. I work solely for Tailbound and this is my entire focus, I am able to cover walks and sitting over weekdays and weekends. Flexible to suit your needs. Mirror routine in owners home, completely flexible to suit needs and able to replicate routine at home. Meal times, walks, enrichment and lots of company.

About: I have experience with dogs from puppies up to seniors. Myself and my partner both have experience with animals, having had pets all our lives. We are animal lovers! I am currently a stay at home mum with my 6 month old little boy so I am available at home every day to look after your fur babies! I have a fenced garden with plenty of space both indoors and outdoors. Dogs are allowed on the sofas and our two dogs will make your pup feel right at home. Plenty of toys and treats in this house!

About: I have had my own dog for over 17 years so i understand what it’s like to take care of a dog. I am such a caring person, who loves walking and miss walking a dog. It would bring me so much joy again. I currently work a full time job, Monday-Thursday, when I finish work of an everning. I love to be able to walk dogs and on my days off also as this. I will always make sure that I am consistent when being around the dogs. At the moment I will not be offering over night stays at my home due to having no garden which is not ideal for a dog to be staying.

About: I have always been surrounded by a variety of pets my whole life, including dogs, cats, goats, rabbits, fish and hamsters so I have plenty of experience and confidence in taking care of your furry friends! I am very keen to start my own business up dog walking and eventually opening up a daycare offering more services. I have previous experience walking dogs all sizes due to my previous dog walking experience. I will take into consideration your pets needs as all pets are individual and different so ensuring what’s best for them is a top priority of mine. I am currently working full time, however due to being in hospitality I am free every Monday and Tuesday for dog walking and check ins. I am also available most Wednesday and Thursday mornings before 10:30am for dog walks. I will ensure your pets are kept safe and happy at all times and I will follow any guidance routines that you require to be followed.

About: I have had a dog most of my life and love spending time with all sorts of dogs. I have lots of patience and I am calm in stressful situations Currently I only work 2 and a half days a week so have plenty of time to look after your fury friends! I am also free on the weekends At my home I care for my dog by having a fenced in garden but with plenty of space for her to run around and have fun

About: I have several years of experience when it comes to dogs. Not only did I work in a dog groomers for several years being around all types of dogs and dealing with different types of behaviours, I also worked at a dog daycare where again there were all types of breeds that require different types of care. I have also had pet dogs my whole life. I would be able to meet any need your dog would require whether that be some training practice for puppies, lead training or special care for older dogs or those who struggle with certain things. Whatever you require. I will be there for you. I currently work Mondays 1-8:30, Tuesdays are generally flexible, Wednesday 2-9:30pm, Thursdays are generally flexible, Fridays 1-8:30 and I am available all day most Saturdays. This may differ during school holidays however contact me and I will try my hardest to accommodate you :) I will respect your house and treat it as if it is my own if there are any special requirements I will make sure I meet them and will listen carefully to any instructions given. I am very trustworthy so that need not be a worry and I am also reliable.
