Aaliyah has been walking and spending time with Buddy for just over a year now and has been the best with him! We’ve just ended our regular walks / drops ins for a very bitter sweet reason as I’ve finished work for maternity leave. We will absolutely be in touch with Aaliyah for any time we need a walker or a sitter as I know Buddy is very comfortable with her and loves their time together 💙

About: I have always had a passion for animals for a desire to work amongst them. I have owned pets from a young age and always been around dogs and other animals. I recently completed a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management to a D*D*D* level. This has provided me with knowledge of animal behaviour, health, anatomy and nutrition in addition to many other areas which I can easily apply to this sector of work and use to ensure that your pet is well cared for under my supervision. I have also undertaken a lot of work experience both paid and voluntary within kennels, dog day care centres and pet shops. This has provided me with the practical knowledge necessary to provide a good standard of work and to ensure that your pet is always safe and looked after.

About: Since a child I have been around a wealth of domestic pets, dogs have always been my preference, the joy they offer in every dimension in life. Since my own dog passed, I have missed the energy, friendship and company. I am now ready to spend time with dogs, who would benefit from the attention I have to offer. So, if you have a pet & you need some support, lets discuss the needs of our little friends. 1.I would only accept any appointments where I could be fully available which would be agreed in advance to ensure, I have planned time for walking, play time etc. 2. In the event you have a change in circumstances, I expect you have a plan in place for agreed pick up/drop off times. Respecting that other people also have plans, agreements & expectation in place. 3. It can be difficult to tick a box with what you can and cannot do, so perhaps a discussion of your needs, preferences would be more appropriate to discuss. 4. Please note during the period where discussions, questions, meetings & provisional dates are in progress a booking is NOT confirmed until you have completed the process by using the booking system on this platform. I am happy to send pictures and updates while you are away. Feel free to ask the question. I have a fenced/gated garden to keep your loved one safe. I have dishes & dog bed for days or overnight stays. For the sitting service your dog would not be left alone, as I am home days & evenings. For both sitting or walking services, I would I live close by to parks, woods, walking routes, so ideally placed to offer a walks & would be happy to use routes known to you if this is your preference. I would be open to discussing your individual needs to ensure you felt relaxed with the situation. If you have a concern or preference then feel free to ask, more than happy to discuss.

About: I have had my own dog for over 17 years so i understand what it’s like to take care of a dog. I am such a caring person, who loves walking and miss walking a dog. It would bring me so much joy again. I currently work a full time job, Monday-Thursday, when I finish work of an everning. I love to be able to walk dogs and on my days off also as this. I will always make sure that I am consistent when being around the dogs. At the moment I will not be offering over night stays at my home due to having no garden which is not ideal for a dog to be staying.

About: For any dog owners that know me, I am their go to dog sitter. They know their dogs will have an amazing time and be in capable hands. I am a full time worker but I work shift patterns so I often find myself with 5 day weekends, full weeks off, half days etc. My girlfriend, Ria works part time so she is home a lot. Your dogs wouldn’t be alone very often, if at all. We take multiple bookings from different owners at the same time, so it is likely that your pet won’t be the only pet under our care at one time. For this reason, you must pre-warn us if your dog has aggressive tendencies. I have a gated back garden, I am knowledgeable in dog behaviours, so I can tell if your pup needs to be removed from a situation. I have experience with nervous dogs and reactive dogs, and little yappers.

About: I’ve looked after animals my entire life! My love for animals lead me to do a level 3 Animal management course in college! I then went onto study animal behaviour and welfare in University. While studying, I worked at a doggy day care. I cared for many dogs at the day care, including a wide range of breeds, ages and sizes. Doing this really give me an understand of the care needed at their different stages of life. After university, I then completed a dog grooming course and started working in a dog grooming salon. This gave me the opportunity to work 1-1 with each dog. Though this, I experienced many different behaviours, from anxious and nervous to reactive and aggressive. Also though dog grooming, I’ve worked with puppies all the way to senior dog and I’ve leant the best ways to deal with dogs at the different stages of life. I also did volunteer work at a vet practice, and I am also dog first aid trained. The welfare of the animals will always be my top priority! I am already doing dog walking and pet sitting outside of rover! Currently, I have complete availability of when I can pet sit! I would love to carry on with in this field of work and hopefully make it my full time job! I will always listen to what the owner says no matter what. If there are any concerns from me, I will always communicate them to make sure your pets are in the absolute best care. I am dog first aid trained, and I also have a car so if any vet tips were needed for any reason, I can get your pet there quickly and safely.

About: I am a fully qualified, insured and experienced dog walker and pet sitter. Commited to animal care and welfare. As someone who has owned dogs and other pets all their life, and have a diploma for education in animal care, I have cared for, fed and trained many dogs from puppies to geriatric. I have a big passion for animals and love meeting other people’s dogs and I love to give pets the love and care they deserve. I have worked on a farm caring for animals previously and I am a responsible, caring and genuine character. As a part time student I am wanted something more flexible that would work around my timetable. In the summer i am available most of the time! I have had many pets and dogs in my life and so I am very confident with animals. I am confident with any breeds of dogs, except XL dogs when walking purely because of the size and weight.

About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with a golden jack russel who was part of our family for over 14 years—so I know what it means to care for a dog through every stage of life. Whether it’s long walks, belly rubs, or just good company, I’m here to make sure your dog feels happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I work full-time 9–5 on weekdays, but I’m available for morning walks before 8:30 AM and evening walks anytime after 5 PM. With a bit of notice, I can often adjust my schedule to finish work by 4 PM for earlier walks. Weekends are fully flexible, so I’m happy to work around your needs then, too! When a pet is in my home, they’re treated like family. I create a calm, safe environment where they can feel comfortable and relaxed. I stick to their routine as closely as possible—whether that’s feeding times, walks, play, or rest—so they feel secure and at ease. I make sure they get plenty of attention, affection, and mental stimulation, and I’m always keeping an eye on their body language to make sure they’re happy and stress-free. Clean spaces, fresh water, and lots of love are guaranteed!

About: My name is Alex I am 23 years old, besides working full time I absolutely love spending time with my pup and would like to expand my hobby and help other people who are in need of a hand with their pet care! I have grown up with dogs all my life. I currently have a family pet named Poppy, a 4 year old Westie and 2 years ago I bought my own dog named Rosie. Rosie is a miniature poodle and very clever. I loved bringing her up and training her as a puppy, and now my days off consist of being with her and taking her on walks in new places, taking her for a pup cup and spending the rest of the day playing and cuddling with her. One of my favourite things to do is go for a dog walk, I feel as though puts me in a good place and I would like to help other people who need assistance in dog walking/ home visits when they are unable to due to work or holidays/ other commitments. I am always around dogs, including my own, and other family dogs who all differ in breeds and sizes. Furthermore, with my sister being a dog groomer who does this at home, I feel I am knowledgable in the characteristics of different breeds and how to tailor to them from my experiencing in helping her with this. For me this is not something I would be doing for the benefit of payment, the main reason for setting up this profile is to get out on more walks, meet new dogs and and be able to help other people! If you were to book me, I would like to do a meet with your pet prior 😌😌 I work full time, however not Monday - Friday and have 4 rest days which more often than not fall in the middle of the week. My last two shifts are night shifts which also means I have my whole day free prior to starting work at night. My pets at home are very well trained and independent at home. They are not caged, and have free roam of the house as they can be trusted when at home. Unfortunately, due to still living at home I will not be offering pet sitting at my home. But, I am more than happy to offer home visits at your address and tailor to the care plan of your pet.

About: During the last 10 years I have boarded 100s of doggos in my own home. I now want a change of scenery and daily routine. I have been looking after doggos for the past 10 years and this is my full time occupation. I would now love to travel to different parts of the UK that I have not yet seen. I think it's time for a change apart from being in my own home 24/7! If the garden is not escape proof, like my own, I would be very vigilant all the time as I do not like the pets to be out of my sight for very long. Also, it rather depends on the particular dogs I would be looking after.

My rather large and excitable puppy loves going out with Hayley. He seems to have really bonded with her after just a couple of walks - so much so, that one weekend she was walking in our neighbourhood he sniffed her out and excitedly went to find her! :D She has our Pup's approval, so we have booked Hayley a couple more times since and plan to do so in the future whenever we are in need of a dog walker :)

About: With a lifelong passion for animals and hands-on experience caring for a variety of pets, I’m the ideal choice for your pet sitting needs! Growing up with family pets taught me the importance of love, patience, and responsibility. I’ve also volunteered at a dog kennel in the Lakes, where I gained valuable skills in handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Additionally, my time working on a family farm gave me experience with larger animals and a deep understanding of animal behavior and care. Whether it’s cuddles, walks, or feeding, your pets will be in safe, caring hands with me! I’m currently taking a year out from education, and, having recently lost my beloved family dog, I’m eager to pour my love and care into looking after your furry friend. With a flexible schedule, I’m available most hours of the day to provide attentive, reliable care tailored to your pet’s needs. Your companion will be treated like family! During the week, I will be available starting at 13:00. I’m fortunate to have a large, secure garden where your furry friend can run, play, and soak up the fresh air to their heart’s content. It’s the perfect space for them to stretch their legs and enjoy some outdoor fun. And when it’s time for a proper adventure, we’re just a short walk away from a beautiful woodland trail and vast open fields – one of my favorite spots to unwind and connect with nature. I’d love to take your little one along to explore, sniff, and discover all the exciting sights and smells. Your pet will have plenty of room to roam, play, and feel right at home.

We couldn’t be happier with the amazing care Dan gave to our 5-year-old cockerpoo, Otis, while we were away on holiday in NYC. From the very beginning, he was professional, reliable, and clearly a natural with dogs. Otis can be a bit particular, but he absolutely adored him! We got regular updates, photos, and it was clear Otis was not only well looked after but genuinely enjoying himself. It gave us real peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. Highly recommended – we’ll definitely be booking again!

Molly has minded my dog, Blue on numerous occasions when I’ve been away from home on long weekends and sometimes minding him for week long stays. I found Molly to be most caring and I found my dog took to her really well. I was particularly impressed by her knowledge about various dog breeds and how to care for them. Molly was enthusiastic to be caring for Blue and my dog enjoyed playing with her and going on walks around different tracks in the Bolton area. I have built up a trusting relationship with Molly as I found she was organised and stuck to the regime I have in place in terms of caring for, walking and feeding my dog. Molly shows a loving nature for dogs and animals in general, and I highly recommend her for the role as a dog sitter at Rovers.

Mia is an exceptional pet caregiver who goes above and beyond to make sure every animal feels safe, loved, and happy. She’s incredibly responsible, attentive to each pet’s unique needs, and always communicates clearly and kindly. Whether it’s a quick walk or an extended stay, I know any pet in her care is in great hands. Mia has a natural connection with animals and treats them like family. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and genuinely passionate about pets.

I’m extremely selective about who I trust with my dog, but with her, there’s no hesitation. She’s deeply compassionate, incredibly dependable, and has a natural connection with animals. Any dog in her care isn’t just looked after they’re genuinely loved. She’s one of a kind. Alice used to have a pet & looked after it like it was her child.

About: I absolutely love dogs (all animals really) and have had dogs in my life since being young. I currently have a Yorkshire Terrier - I have experience with dogs in heat. I also have two cats, they spend the day outside so will be no issue. Since I have had dogs from a young age I have experience with a range of different breeds so I am very used to all the different personalities dogs can have. I am super flexible due to working from home and am therefore available at short notice. I have the most experience with these breed of dogs: Basset Hounds, Yorkshire Terriers, Labradors, Border Collies, Jack Russels, West Highland Terriers and Pugs. I look forward to hearing form you soon.

Chris is loving and thoughtful carer for all animals, including dogs, with whom she has a fantastic rapport and connection. Chris was excellent with my two little rascals, providing enriching exercise in the local area and personal company for the time I was not available personally. Meeting beforehand and having the dogs meet this new person was great and helped enormously going forward, they now wait eagerly for their new friend to come and take them for walkies!
