Vivian’s cat room is perfect, with a large bay window, shelves for the cat to climb upon, corners to hide if nervous and plenty of space to roam around. Vivian did an amazing job with my cat, being very patient to give him confidence and feel comfortable in the new surroundings and with new people. She gave him plenty of cuddles and reassurance throughout the stay. And monitored his food and drink intake as well as his litter use. Vivian also introduced him to their really sweet and cute kitten to give him a playmate. Vivian kept me updated throughout with pictures, videos and reported on his progress. I could not have dreamt of a better place and better couple to keep my cat safe, happy and comfortable during my absence. “My Storm went for a sleep over as an extended meet and greet to see if Tracy and her were a match.. I could tell instantly that Storm was comfortable. I got photos and updates.. and when Storm was dropped off she was happy.. and as soon as Tracy's back was turned Storm jumped back into her car.. although I wasnt impressed that Storm was happy to go back off with Tracy it gave me comfort that she had clearly given her the care and love that she receives at home... have already rebooked for a longer stay.. About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I have experience caring for cats and always treat them like family. I’ve looked after cats for family, friends and neighbors for years I work full-time from home, so the pet is never alone. I have ragdoll cat myself which is over two years old. When I finish work after 5, I normally go to the gym which takes me around 1,5h or shopping and that’s basically it. I live in a two-bedroom house, so your cat will have plenty of space. I’m happy to let them roam freely around the house or keep them in a separate room (my home office) if that’s what you prefer. I’ll always follow your cat’s routine and your preferences.

“I couldn’t recommend Olaniyi enough. This was my first time leaving Bailey with him and, naturally, I was a little worried about how he would settle, but Olaniyi was absolutely brilliant with him. He kept me updated throughout our holiday with messages and photos, which really gave me peace of mind. Bailey was initially a little nervous and even fussy with his food, but Olaniyi was so patient with him, took the time to understand him and even found a food he enjoyed. By the end of his stay, Bailey was completely settled, happy and following him everywhere! 😂❤️ It was obvious when we collected Bailey that he had been genuinely cared for and treated like part of the family. I grew up on a farm surrounded by all kinds of animals; rabbits, guinea pigs, ducks, horses, cows, chickens and sheep, so I have a lifelong experience of looking after animals. About: I have done a work placement in a cattery where i gave many cats some love, changed their litter trays, fed them accurately and on time and cleaned their bedding. I understand some cats enjoy their own space and some cats like to be touchy and loved. I can provide both. About: I have had cats since I was little. When I had children I introduced them to cats too by adopting a kitten, and now I have 2 adult daughters with their own cats, so I definitely passed on my love of them. I have adopted senior cats. Currently my latest adoption is 10 and a half years old and likes to be the boss of my 3 other cats, but I am gradually getting her used to socialising with them in a more friendly way. It's an ongoing process! I know cats are unpredictable, can scratch you one minute then want to climb on your lap the next, but I like that they have little independent personalities. When a cat loves you, you know you have been chosen. I am used to getting cats to take medication and treating things like eye infections for them, so I would be happy to look after a cat needing medical care. I also clean and change litter, mop up catsick or hairballs, and hoover up stray fur on the furniture!

About: Hello! Unlike some other sitters on Rover, i have a year of dog sitting experience and work experience in a kennels, cattery, riding school and small animal vet clinic. I have been caring for dogs ever since 2012 when i was around seven years old and have also had some experience with rabbits and birds around the age of 4 years old. During my work experience, i have learnt how to analyse basic animal behaviour well and have learnt how to follow a schedule of feeding times, medicine that need to be administered and how to meet the needs of both dogs and cats. I’ve helped with grooming and bathing at the kennels and i am patient at all times, giving space to animals when they need it. I am the type of pet sitter to give some advice to owners if i feel it may benefit the owners and the pet. For example, if i see your dog eats too quickly, i might recommend a slow feeding bowl to reduce chances of things such as GDV happening to your dog. I have helped two owners during my time as a pet sitter as i have noticed medical issues in their dogs such as signs of a urinary infection or epulis. If you do not want advice, please let me know beforehand as i do not tolerate rude behaviour. Im currently available at all times so whatever type of schedule you would like for your pet, i can work around. When a dog is in my own home and is sleeping over, i sleep nearby to make sure that they are comfortable and safe as that is my first priority. I give every dog at least one walk a day (or more if you would like) In my own home, i have an attached house which is kept clean at all times and it has a back garden with tall fences and no grass. Its a relatively big garden with lots of plants and vegetables around. About: During the last 10 years I have boarded 100s of doggos in my own home. I now want a change of scenery and daily routine. I have been looking after doggos for the past 10 years and this is my full time occupation. I would now love to travel to different parts of the UK that I have not yet seen. I think it's time for a change apart from being in my own home 24/7! If the garden is not escape proof, like my own, I would be very vigilant all the time as I do not like the pets to be out of my sight for very long. Also, it rather depends on the particular dogs I would be looking after.

He was happy to see us when we arrived to pick him up - but he didn't want to leave Aaliyah and her partner!! About: I have had cats since I was little, adopting them from friends, the RSPCA or relatives. I have also owned rabbits, and dogs, in the past as an adult. My dog experience includes an excitable Border Collie, a happy-go-lucky mixed breed and a fun-loving German Shepherd. I do miss dog walks and dog cuddles, but currently one of my adopted senior cats isn't keen on dogs so I am currently a dog free house! I have looked after pets since I was about 5 or 6 so have nearly 50 years experience with animals.I work from home so if you have wifi and need a sitter in your home, I can be in most of the day with your pet. I love walking dogs on or off lead and I am happy to go with the personality of your pet, whether that's a cat that likes their own space, or a dog who wants cuddles and long outdoor walks. As for my cats, they have my Mum to look after them when I am away, so I can do overnight or longer stays. I work in education, have a car, flexibility on dates/times and I will look after your pet as if they are my own, sending lots of photos and updates. I work Monday-Friday in term-time, and work from home, with occasional meetings outside my home, depending on schedule. I usually get up, feed my cats, have breakfast, start work at 8 and if I'm in a Teams meeting online, try to keep my cats from coming into shot or stepping all over my keyboard! Sometimes I might need to do an external visit or meeting, but if so then I am back home within 1-2hrs. At tea time the cats get fed again. At the weekends my cats have to wait a little longer for breakfast if I have a lie-in. At home I have a fenced-in garden, a cat flap and litter trays. I also have a small park 5 mins walk away where I used to walk my dogs, and a larger one 10 mins drive away. I live in a very quiet cul de sac.
About: I have owned dogs for over 10 years and have experience with most sizes! My family at home have a Beauceron x Rottweiler so I am used to large, strong dogs. We also used to have a whippet, and both dogs were rescues so I also have experience with dogs with little to no recall and who love to try and slip their lead LOL! Our beauceron x is now over 15 so I have experience with older dogs and I understand their needs. I currently have a little Peke who lives with me. She is spayed and very unbothered by other dogs as she comes from a farm so hopefully our pets will make great friends! I am a laidback but firm pet owner. I have a little experience training my dogs so if you need any training worked on/ reinforced during your pets stay with me please let me know and I can work with you! I currently work Mon-Friday 9-5, so I am mostly available on weekends. When looking after your pet I will not have any plans so I can ensure their happiness and safety. I live in a top floor flat so if your pet is staying with me they must be happy with stairs or being carried. I live next to a large green space so they can have a nice walk. I will aim to bring your pet out every 2-4 hours depending on their energy levels/ toilet needs. Overnight the last toilet break will be around 9pm and the first morning walk is at 7.30am. This is flexible so just let me know of any specific requirements!

About: I have experience with dogs from puppies up to seniors. Myself and my partner both have experience with animals, having had pets all our lives. We are animal lovers! I am currently a stay at home mum with my 6 month old little boy so I am available at home every day to look after your fur babies! I have a fenced garden with plenty of space both indoors and outdoors. Dogs are allowed on the sofas and our two dogs will make your pup feel right at home. Plenty of toys and treats in this house!
About: I have had my own dog for over 17 years so i understand what it’s like to take care of a dog. I am such a caring person, who loves walking and miss walking a dog. It would bring me so much joy again. I currently work a full time job, Monday-Thursday, when I finish work of an everning. I love to be able to walk dogs and on my days off also as this. I will always make sure that I am consistent when being around the dogs. At the moment I will not be offering over night stays at my home due to having no garden which is not ideal for a dog to be staying.

Not only did I work in a dog groomers for several years being around all types of dogs and dealing with different types of behaviours, I also worked at a dog daycare where again there were all types of breeds that require different types of care. I have also had pet dogs my whole life. I would be able to meet any need your dog would require whether that be some training practice for puppies, lead training or special care for older dogs or those who struggle with certain things. Whatever you require. I will be there for you. I currently work Mondays 1-8:30, Tuesdays are generally flexible, Wednesday 2-9:30pm, Thursdays are generally flexible, Fridays 1-8:30 and I am available all day most Saturdays. This may differ during school holidays however contact me and I will try my hardest to accommodate you :) I will respect your house and treat it as if it is my own if there are any special requirements I will make sure I meet them and will listen carefully to any instructions given. I am very trustworthy so that need not be a worry and I am also reliable.

About: I've owned and cared for dogs, cats and horses from a young age, from large breeds such as German Shepherds to small breeds like Toy Poodles. I have experience with puppies, senior, nervous and reactive dogs, including raising two litters of puppies. I got photos and updates.. and when Storm was dropped off she was happy.. and as soon as Tracy's back was turned Storm jumped back into her car.. although I wasnt impressed that Storm was happy to go back off with Tracy it gave me comfort that she had clearly given her the care and love that she receives at home... have already rebooked for a longer stay.. “I couldn’t recommend Olaniyi enough. This was my first time leaving Bailey with him and, naturally, I was a little worried about how he would settle, but Olaniyi was absolutely brilliant with him. He kept me updated throughout our holiday with messages and photos, which really gave me peace of mind. Bailey was initially a little nervous and even fussy with his food, but Olaniyi was so patient with him, took the time to understand him and even found a food he enjoyed. By the end of his stay, Bailey was completely settled, happy and following him everywhere! 😂❤️ It was obvious when we collected Bailey that he had been genuinely cared for and treated like part of the family. I would happily leave Bailey with Olaniyi again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone kind, patient and trustworthy to care for their dog. Thank you again! 🐶❤️”

About: I've had dogs for the past 10 years and genuinely love everything about them. I'm currently training my 6 month old cockapoo, which includes gun dog training. I have 2 young dog savvy children and a husband who also loves dogs. We have a large garden and live in an area with lovely countryside walks. I also work from home most of the week. I work from home 3 days per week and I am always home on a weekend. I can look after your pups on a Monday, Thursday, Friday and I can do weekend boarding. I can also pop in and check on your pups during the days I work from home and on weekends. I have a large garden and lots of lovely walks near my house, I have a 6 month old cockapoo puppy that is very friendly and absolutely loves other dogs. I also have 2 dog savvy children who would be happy to play with another pup! I live with my husband who is amazing with dogs and is currently taking our dog to training classes and a gun dog training class. We have plenty of space to look after another dog in our home.
