Thank you Vivian and your husband for taking such good care of my two cats. You gave me daily updates right on time, spent extra time playing with them and even looked after one of them who has some respiratory issues with great attention. You were friendly, polite, and very thoughtful. I’ll definitely come back to you next time I need cat boarding!

We're very happy with the care our dog received staying with Larissa and will definitely be booking with her again. As this was the first time we have used an online boarding service and the first time leaving our dog we were a bit unsure how she would react to boarding. We needn't have worried, she didn't seem stressed in any way when we picked her up which says to me she was well cared for. Very happy with Rover and happy to recommend Larissa.

It was the first time we had ever left Roxy overnight. We were really worried about leaving her at all. However we were greatly impressed with the young couple who looked after her. They went above and beyond to make Roxy feel at home and cared for her exceptionally well, sending us regular pup dates on how she was. They have a great set up and large garden, and are close to a large country park for walking and adventures. We both are very fussy people but we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a high standard of care for their dog. We have already booked with them again, as we know Roxy will be well cared for.

Would put more stars if we could ❤️ Alex and Chris looked after our pride and joy, 11 month old border collie just like we knew they would. Jota has had a great time, lots of pictures of him enjoying himself. We were immediately put at ease by a lovely couple and we did not worry once about if he would be well looked after because we knew he would. Lots of questions asked so they knew him and the family and they treated him like their own. Would highly recommend and Jota will be a frequent visitor in the future. Thank you 😊 for caring so much about him x

Nicola and Rebecca were absolutely great hosts for our little Lenny. He is only a pup so we were very nervous about leaving him for the first time. They kept in constant contact with photos and updates which kept our mind at ease and showed us how much fun Lenny was having but importantly how well looked after he was. Thanks again Nicola and Rebecca, Lenny had a great time.

Sandra looked after Storm for an evening and Storm had a great time and settled in so quickly with her and her partner. I got lots of videos and photos which helped put my mind at ease that Storm was having a great time. Storm can be unsure of new people, but Sandra agreed to a pre meet and also made sure she asked lots of questions so she knew how to best look after Strom. Storm also had a day visit with Sandra and her partner for a walk and had a great time. Thanks so much!

About: I have done a work placement in a cattery where i gave many cats some love, changed their litter trays, fed them accurately and on time and cleaned their bedding. I understand some cats enjoy their own space and some cats like to be touchy and loved. I can provide both. I also have one experience on Rover where i went to a client's home to feed her cat daily and give some attention.

About: I’m a 21 year old Veterinary Medicine student in her 2nd year of Vet school. I take pride in making sure animals are healthy and happy whilst in my care. Alongside this I’ve studied an animal management BTEC course and got a grade of D*D*D*. I have a wide range of work experience alongside animals including doggy day cares, farm settings and pet shops and I’ve worked with a wide variety of animals. :) Due to university I am only available during weekends to care for your animal. During the weekends I’m available day and night. But I’ll be available more during the summer to fit around your schedule to look after your animal day and night :) I live in a bungalow so is ideal for geriatric pets and I have no other free range animals in the house. I do own a variety of reptiles but they’re kept separated and won’t bother or pose a risk to your animals. I have a fenced garden with grass which is secure and safe.

About: Hello! Unlike some other sitters on Rover, i have a year of dog sitting experience and work experience in a kennels, cattery, riding school and small animal vet clinic. I have been caring for dogs ever since 2012 when i was around seven years old and have also had some experience with rabbits and birds around the age of 4 years old. During my work experience, i have learnt how to analyse basic animal behaviour well and have learnt how to follow a schedule of feeding times, medicine that need to be administered and how to meet the needs of both dogs and cats. I’ve helped with grooming and bathing at the kennels and i am patient at all times, giving space to animals when they need it. I am the type of pet sitter to give some advice to owners if i feel it may benefit the owners and the pet. For example, if i see your dog eats too quickly, i might recommend a slow feeding bowl to reduce chances of things such as GDV happening to your dog. I have helped two owners during my time as a pet sitter as i have noticed medical issues in their dogs such as signs of a urinary infection or epulis. If you do not want advice, please let me know beforehand as i do not tolerate rude behaviour. Im currently available at all times so whatever type of schedule you would like for your pet, i can work around. When a dog is in my own home and is sleeping over, i sleep nearby to make sure that they are comfortable and safe as that is my first priority. I give every dog at least one walk a day (or more if you would like) In my own home, i have an attached house which is kept clean at all times and it has a back garden with tall fences and no grass. Its a relatively big garden with lots of plants and vegetables around. I do have a dog of my own in the house who’s an eight year old Sproodle who is playful but is no threat to other dogs as she loves to greet them no matter the age. She is gentle with puppies and sleeps in her own bed in the kitchen. In my house, i live with two sisters and my mother. No matter the house im caring for your pet in, i will stick to a schedule and your rules however you prefer. I will make sure your pet is entertained and cared for well and will return home happy!

About: During the last 10 years I have boarded 100s of doggos in my own home. I now want a change of scenery and daily routine. I have been looking after doggos for the past 10 years and this is my full time occupation. I would now love to travel to different parts of the UK that I have not yet seen. I think it's time for a change apart from being in my own home 24/7! If the garden is not escape proof, like my own, I would be very vigilant all the time as I do not like the pets to be out of my sight for very long. Also, it rather depends on the particular dogs I would be looking after.

About: I’ve always loved being around dogs and grew up with two wonderful Labrador Retrievers, so caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. From long walks and playtime to feeding, grooming, and plenty of attention, I’ve always enjoyed making sure they’re happy, healthy, and well looked after. I’ve also spent a lot of time at my grandmother’s farm, where she’s had Border Collies for many years, giving me experience with energetic working breeds and different dog personalities. More recently, I’ve helped a friend who works through Rover with dog sitting and walks, so I’m comfortable caring for dogs outside of my own family. I understand that every dog is unique, and I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. I’ll always treat your dog with the same care, patience, and affection I’d give my own, while keeping you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing they’re in safe hands. After recently returning from a 7-month trip around South America, I now have plenty of time available to dedicate to caring for dogs and cats. After recently returning from a 7-month trip around South America, I now have plenty of time available to dedicate to caring for dogs and cats. I live in a welcoming home with a spacious, secure garden and fantastic walking routes right on our doorstep, including riverside paths that are perfect for dogs. I will always follow your instructions closely, respect your pet’s routine, and make sure they feel relaxed, happy, and at home.

Emily took great care of my small puppy Daisy! Perfect home for daycare with space to run around in the secure garden. Emily's own dogs were lovely with Daisy and Emily took time to understand Daisys needs and daily routine. Clearly a household that love dogs. Thank you Emily and see you again soon.

I cannot recommend Aaliyah enough, she has put me at ease as I was so nervous about finding a day care for my 7month old vizsla. Our girl is very soft and can be anxious around dogs so a 1-1 day care was the better option for us. Aaliyah and her partner both came for a meet and greet prior to me booking Gabi in with them which instantly put me at ease, Gabi loved them from the moment she met them. Aaliyah and her partner have taken such great care of Gabi whilst me and my partner have been at work and the updates and pictures have put me at ease. We are really greatful for her taking such good care of Gabi and treating her like the princess she is, Gabi will definitely be back

About: I have had pets most of my life and enjoy the time with them. I'm retired so have the time to spoil your pet while you enjoy knowing they are well looked after. Im retired and have quite a bit of spare time on my hands. I love having a chat with a dog while walking, its wonderful. My own cats are indoors only as I prefer the safety of this. I cannot have pets boarding at my home due to my own fur babies x

About: I’ve always loved animals and grown up surrounded by them, so caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. I’ve had my own Pomeranian since I was 10, and I regularly help look after my mum’s Rottweiler. I also have experience walking and caring for dogs of different sizes and temperaments, including terriers, miniature poodles, and German Shepherds, as well as looking after pets for other owners while they’ve been away. I’m confident with both small and large dogs, and I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs. I love spending time with dogs and making sure they have all the attention they need. I currently work part time, so I have plenty of flexibility and time to spend with your dogs. Most of the time I’m able to work around your schedule and offer reliable, consistent care, whether that’s walks, check-ins, or overnight stays in your home. I always look after dogs in their own home, so they can stay in a place they know and feel comfortable in. I’m calm and confident with all kinds of dogs, including those who are a bit nervous, excitable, or need a bit more patience and understanding. I’m also happy following any routines you already have in place, whether that’s feeding, walking, grooming, or just keeping things consistent for them. After visits or walks, I like to send a quick update with a photo so you can see how your dog is doing and what they’ve been up to. If something ever seems a bit off, I’ll always let you know. For overnight stays, I’m happy to adjust how often I update you - some people like lots of updates, others prefer to relax knowing everything is taken care of, and I’m happy either way.

About: I have had cats since I was little, adopting them from friends, the RSPCA or relatives. I have also owned rabbits, and dogs, in the past as an adult. My dog experience includes an excitable Border Collie, a happy-go-lucky mixed breed and a fun-loving German Shepherd. I do miss dog walks and dog cuddles, but currently one of my adopted senior cats isn't keen on dogs so I am currently a dog free house! I have looked after pets since I was about 5 or 6 so have nearly 50 years experience with animals.I work from home so if you have wifi and need a sitter in your home, I can be in most of the day with your pet. I love walking dogs on or off lead and I am happy to go with the personality of your pet, whether that's a cat that likes their own space, or a dog who wants cuddles and long outdoor walks. As for my cats, they have my Mum to look after them when I am away, so I can do overnight or longer stays. I work in education, have a car, flexibility on dates/times and I will look after your pet as if they are my own, sending lots of photos and updates. I work Monday-Friday in term-time, and work from home, with occasional meetings outside my home, depending on schedule. I usually get up, feed my cats, have breakfast, start work at 8 and if I'm in a Teams meeting online, try to keep my cats from coming into shot or stepping all over my keyboard! Sometimes I might need to do an external visit or meeting, but if so then I am back home within 1-2hrs. At tea time the cats get fed again. At the weekends my cats have to wait a little longer for breakfast if I have a lie-in. At home I have a fenced-in garden, a cat flap and litter trays. I also have a small park 5 mins walk away where I used to walk my dogs, and a larger one 10 mins drive away. I live in a very quiet cul de sac.

About: I’ve spent years as a cat’s trusted confidante, servant, and occasional claw-mark canvas. In other words: I’m an experienced cat sitter who knows how to read whisker twitches, decode tail flicks, and survive the midnight zoomies. But here’s my little plot twist: I also happen to love dogs—in all their slobbery, tail-thumping glory. While cats may tolerate me, dogs tend to celebrate me, and I’m now expanding my services to give canines the same level of care, attention, and slightly sardonic humour I’ve always brought to the feline kingdom. What I Can Offer Cats: From aloof aristocrats to needy lap-gremlins, I adapt to their whims. Feeding, playtime, medication, litter scooping—done with dignity (mostly theirs, sometimes mine). Dogs: Walks that are more than just laps around the block. Play, exercise, cuddles, and someone who won’t judge the enthusiastic sniffing of absolutely everything. Multi-pet households: I can handle your entire furry ensemble cast without losing the plot. Why Choose Me? Because I bring reliability with an edge. I’ll show up on time, send you updates that make you laugh instead of worry, and treat your pets like the strange little overlords they are. I understand that leaving them in someone else’s care can feel like a gamble—so let me be the safe bet with a slightly twisted sense of humour. Whether your cat is plotting your downfall or your dog is plotting how to steal the neighbour’s tennis ball, I’m here to keep the peace, provide the snuggles, and ensure everyone survives (including your houseplants). Dark humour aside: I take pet care seriously. Because your pets deserve more than a sitter—they deserve someone who gets them. Pet care isn’t a side task—it’s the rhythm of my week. Walks, feeds, cuddles, and even the occasional litter box politics are all handled with care, consistency, and a bit of humour. Your pets get attention, routine, and someone who truly knows their moods—so you can relax knowing they’re in experienced hands. I often work remotely in my day job so can accommodate last minute requests. I treat every home—and every pet—as if it were my own (without the shame of them judging my cooking). In a pet owner’s home, I stick to your routines: feeding, walks, playtime, medication, and all the little details that make your pet feel secure. In my home, I provide a calm, safe environment where pets can relax, explore, and get plenty of attention. I’m attentive, consistent, and always on the lookout for signs that something might need extra care—so you can leave knowing your pets are happy, comfortable, and well looked after.

While I look for my next career opportunity, I have a flexible schedule and can offer plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and companionship throughout the week. I’m available for boarding, walks, and drop-in visits, with flexibility to fit around each pet’s individual routine.

Laura was brilliant with our Working cocker spaniel. I would trust her with any dog of mine. She has made a friend for life with our dog and taken great care of him

I would definitely recommend booking Carly. Communication was excellent from start to finish and she made sure Charlie settled in well. Carly kept me updated throughout her stay, which gave me real peace of mind. Charlie was happy and well cared for and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again.

Elena was again fabulous. Lots of videos showing the lovely walks she took our girls on. Elena really cares and looks after our dogs, we would not have anyone else look after them. 💕

My Storm went for a sleep over as an extended meet and greet to see if Tracy and her were a match.. I could tell instantly that Storm was comfortable. I got photos and updates.. and when Storm was dropped off she was happy.. and as soon as Tracy's back was turned Storm jumped back into her car.. although I wasnt impressed that Storm was happy to go back off with Tracy it gave me comfort that she had clearly given her the care and love that she receives at home... have already rebooked for a longer stay.. I just hope I get a better greeting off Storm after my trip. Thank you, 🐾

I would highly recommend Nicole to look after your pet. Nicole provided lots of pictures and updates and as this was the first time leaving my puppy this provided me with lots of reassurance. Connie loved staying with Nicole and without a doubt I will be asking Nicole to look after Connie again. 🥰

Excellent service from Mark. Hes looked after my collie Lucy overnight and she came back well rested and very happy with her stay. He even managed to fit in a morning walk. I received photos of her relaxing and playing fetch with him, so it was great to see she was getting along well. I would definately reccomend Mark and Im sure I'll be taking Lucy back soon.

While I look for my next career opportunity, I have a flexible schedule and can offer plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and companionship throughout the week. I’m available for boarding, walks, and drop-in visits, with flexibility to fit around each pet’s individual routine. I live in a welcoming home with a spacious, secure garden and fantastic walking routes right on our doorstep, including riverside paths that are perfect for dogs. Having grown up with Labradors, I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I know how much joy and companionship pets bring into a home, and I’d love the opportunity to provide that same care and attention to other people’s pets. I will always follow your instructions closely, respect your pet’s routine, and make sure they feel relaxed, happy, and at home.

Daniel and his partner were amazing. They were very friendly and welcoming. They were very thorough in getting to know my dog, took notes even. My dog really enjoyed being there with them. More importantly I was very confident and happy to leave him under their care. Highly recommend them. Would definitely use them again.

About: I grew up around animals and have a love for dogs and cats in particular although I have been known to cuddle a piglet or a bearded dragon at times! I have always had one or two dogs as an adult. A house just feels empty without them. My love of animals motivated me to complete a degree in animal behaviour. This gave me a really good insight into canine behaviour and the ability to look at a situation from a dogs perspective, this has been invaluable at times. I have experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes and personalities, from energetic young dogs to older pets who need a calmer, more gentle approach. I understand that every dog is an individual and I pay particular attention to how the dynamics between the dogs change when they are living together so that we can keep everyone happy. I always take the time to learn their routine, preferences and needs so they feel safe, comfortable and happy while in my care. I can also carry on training habits or administer medication whilst they are with us. Whether it's walks, playtime, cuddles or simply keeping to their usual routine, I'll care for your dog as if they were my own. My partner Mandy and I are both working from home at the moment so there will be someone available most of the time for back door opening, company and cuddles. I'm flexible and can usually accommodate your dog's normal routine, helping them feel settled and comfortable while they're with us. Your dog will be part of the pack in our home from home environment. Your dog's safety and wellbeing are my top priorities. We have a loving family home with three children—two teenagers and an eight-year-old who has grown up around animals and is always gentle and respectful. We also have two friendly, dog-tolerant cats, so any dogs staying with us will need to be comfortable around cats and children. Outside, we have a securely fenced area of the garden where dogs can safely enjoy time outdoors. In the summer, they have access to their own paddling pool. We also have a larger garden for exercise and play, although this area isn't fully escape-proof, so adventurous dogs with a talent for finding gaps may need to stay on a lead or enjoy the secure area instead. I always tailor each dog's access to outdoor spaces based on their personality and level of recall to keep them safe. I only accept dogs that I feel will be happy and comfortable in our home environment. This helps ensure a safe, relaxed and enjoyable experience for your dog, our family and our own pets. To determine this, we always like to have a visit from you and your dog to our home. We just want to be as sure as we can that everyone is going to be happy during their stay!

I felt reassured that my dogs were well looked after whilst they were with Dylan. We met before I completed the booking for a little walk so he could meet the dogs. I received pictures and updates throughout their stay. I will definitely book again.
