I have extensive professional experience working with a wide spectrum of dogs through my role as a dog handler at a specialist rescue and rehabilitation centre. I am trained to recognise early warning signs, manage environments appropriately, and maintain calm, structured routines that prioritise welfare and safety at all times. Alongside my hands-on rescue experience, I hold a Level 3 Diploma in Animal Management (Companion Animals) and have provided private pet care in home settings. I have worked with dogs of all ages, sizes, and abilities, including senior dogs, dogs with medical needs, dogs with physical disabilities, and dogs who require thoughtful, low-pressure handling. While I have experience working around complex and high-needs dogs in a controlled, professional setting, my private pet care services are focused on dogs that are suitable for safe, structured walking and care. My professional background working in rescue and rehabilitation has given me a strong understanding of animal behaviour, body language, and safe handling practices. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I follow all instructions closely to maintain familiar routines and minimise stress. I am respectful of clients’ homes, attentive to security, and ensure pets are supervised appropriately at all times. I routinely monitor behaviour, appetite, mobility, and overall wellbeing, and I communicate clearly with owners if anything appears out of the ordinary.

Lily took care of our puppy Sid for most of the day yesterday and it is safe to say he had the best day ever! She took time to play with him, did some training, took him for a walk and stayed with him while he slept as he’s not too sure about being on his own yet! Lily send us photos throughout the day and kept in communication which was reassuring so we knew he was ok and having a good time. He was so sad when Lily had to leave and is looking forward to her coming back soon for another day of fun and play!
Lily frequently dog sits for my Bulldogge, Beaux. Beaux loves spending time with Lily. Due to beaux having high energy levels, Lily follows her routine and implements her knowledge to always stimulate beaux mentally and physically. Lily makes sure to always have a planned walk route that I know beaux knows well due to her being nervous around other dogs, which I think is a nice thing to do for not only beaux but to ease my mind too. I get regular updates and pictures every day whilst I’m away and come back to a happy dog and a clean house which is always a bonus! I could not recommend a better dog sitter in Blackburn 😊
My shih tzus love when lily comes to take them for a walk, she has been a massive help to me as I can no longer manage a daily walk , lily has a wonderful rapport with both of my dogs , she is understanding of my dogs anxieties of traffic and other dogs ,I wouldn't be without her as my dogwalker now and if my dogs could talk I'm sure they would say the same .

Harmonogram
At present, I take on a limited number of local bookings while I build my private clientele and work towards having my own vehicle. This allows me to remain reliable, punctual, and fully focused on the pets I care for, rather than overextending myself. I only accept bookings that fit comfortably around my professional commitments, ensuring each animal receives calm, attentive care and consistent routines. As my availability expands, I plan to increase my services while maintaining the same high standard of care.
