About: I’m a lifelong animal lover living in Higherford with my 14 year-old son, Billy. We both love spending time with dogs and treat every pet that stays with us as part of the family. We previously owned a lovely Whippet, so we understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your dog. We currently dog sit for friends and have loved every minute of it, so we’ve decided to open our home to more furry guests through Rover. Our home has a secure garden and is surrounded by beautiful countryside, making it the perfect place for plenty of walks, fresh air, and adventures. I enjoy fell walking and keeping fit, so your dog will get lots of exercise, attention, and affection. We also have our friendly tripod cat, Seth, who is used to dogs and can be kept completely separate from visiting pets if needed. I know every dog is different, so I’ll always do my best to stick to their usual routine and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet you and your four-legged family member! 🐶 I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I’m around for most of the day to provide plenty of company, care, and regular toilet breaks. This also means I can adapt to your dog’s usual routine, whether they enjoy long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with company. Your dog will rarely be left alone and will receive lots of attention throughout their stay. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I provide a calm, loving home where dogs are treated like part of the family. I have front and back gardens for fresh air and outdoor time, along with a bright conservatory that’s perfect for dogs who love to relax and soak up the sunshine. About: We are a friendly, reliable couple with a genuine love of dogs, animals and the outdoors. With three dogs of our own, dogs are very much part of our everyday lives, and we understand how important it is to find someone you can genuinely trust with a much-loved member of your family. Alongside our practical experience, Shirley holds a Canine Communication Diploma, awarded with Distinction by the Centre of Excellence. This complements our hands-on experience and helps us to understand canine communication, behaviour and the individual ways dogs express themselves. We also have experience through Pawsome Treks Adventure Services, our dog-walking service, which focuses on giving dogs stimulating outdoor experiences rather than simply a quick walk around the block. We love the outdoors and enjoy giving dogs opportunities to walk, explore, sniff and enjoy plenty of enrichment. We have three dogs ourselves and are fortunate to have access to private fields giving us fantastic opportunities for outdoor exercise and enrichment. We are also developing dedicated indoor and outdoor spaces to provide a comfortable environment for different dogs and their individual needs. Having two of us means there is plenty of opportunity for companionship, supervision and individual attention. We understand that every dog is different — from energetic adventurers to older dogs who simply enjoy a gentle wander and plenty of affection — and we adapt our approach accordingly. We have three dogs of our own, so walks, feeding, play, exercise and companionship are already part of our normal daily routine. We both enjoy being outdoors and can structure our days around the dogs in our care rather than trying to fit them into a busy schedule. We are also developing dedicated indoor and outdoor areas so dogs can have appropriate spaces for activity, rest and relaxation. We will always follow your instructions regarding feeding, walking, leads, routines, interaction with other dogs and any individual requirements. We never assume that because something is suitable for one dog it will be suitable for another. As we have dogs ourselves, introductions and compatibility are important to us. We want every dog in our care — including our own — to feel safe and comfortable. We are happy to discuss this fully and arrange an introduction before a stay where appropriate. We will provide responsible supervision, plenty of attention and a calm, caring environment, with your dog's welfare always coming first.

About: I have looked after a variety of dogs and my 2 fur babies are a Siberian Husky, who loves to play with other dogs and a Patterdale Terrier, who just loves to be warm and cosy under the covers! I have great areas around me for dog walking and my house and garden are fully secure. I love having cuddles with dogs and I am happy to share my bedroom or bed with dogs if they are used to this and it makes them feel more secure. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I am available at weekends to look after your fur babies starting from Friday evening to Sunday evening. I will also be available more in school holidays as I work as a teacher. I have a fenced secure garden and house. They will be treated as part of the family. I am flexible in terms of what your dog needs.

About: I have taken care of many of my friends dogs whilst they go on holiday(s) over the last 5 years. This has included two beautiful, high energy spaniels and older Dachshunds. I work from home and have a spaniel myself so I’m constantly out and about making sure they have the best day. I wake up around 5.45 on week days and take George (my spaniel) on a nice 5k walk along the canal. I work from home so will get my morning meetings out of the way, let George out in the back yard in between. I usually walk to the local park at lunch which is around 2.5k round trip. And after work, depending on what I have planned we usually are out and about places. Quick walk around the block just before we go to bed. I have a fenced yard. Plenty of room in the kitchen to keep a cage. A ring camera that overlooks into the kitchen for if I need to nip out to the shops. And George is the most loving companion, he has been so socialised since I’ve had him that he loves having other dogs over for sleepovers.
