“Daniel was our first ever professional dog sitter. We were really impressed by the service offered. We had a great meet and greet initially where we all got to know each other. He put our minds at ease with his passion and skills for looking after dogs. Today we left our dog with Daniel for the first time. Our dog was happy to see Daniel and went straight into the house. He had previously been a very nervous dog. The drop off and pick up went smoothly and you could tell our dog had been well looked after. Daniel communicated throughout the day with texts, photos and videos which put our minds at ease. We would highly recommend Daniel…and will definitely be our first choice for dog sitting moving forward.”

“Lily was great at looking after our pup. She was communicative, took him on walks, made sure he got on with the other dog and gave him plenty of attention and rest. Thank you!”

About: As well as our own 20 month old dog, Poppy, we care for our parents’ 14 year old dog on a regular basis as well as friends & families dogs. We have over a years experience using Rover and caring for dogs privately too. We have cared for dogs for up to 3 weeks at a time, and very comfortable adjusting our lifestyle to suit the needs of dogs in our care. We have even taken dogs on holiday with us! Our lovely dog Poppy (a cross Spaniel/Beagle/Terrier) loves the company of other dogs, which is part of the reason we have signed up to care for other dogs. We are really comfortable with other pets, have a very dog friendly home, where they will be treat like our own and kept safe, warm and loved for as long as they are here. We recently welcomed a lovely baby boy into the world, so please note that any dogs we care for MUST be happy and comfortable around children and babies. I (Emily) work from home flexibly, and currently walk our own dog 3 times a day between us. We have an active lifestyle and love being at home. With us already having a dog of our own, we spend most weekends walking and taking her to the pub! We have a fenced, sizeable back garden which is perfect for your dog. We also have room for your dog to be kept separately from our own at night, whether that be on our sofa or in his/her own crate. We are really flexible and happy to accommodate your pets needs whilst staying with us. We live across the road from a big playing area where there are plenty of dog walkers, and have a park and woods on our doorstep too. Our dog walks off the lead, but we’re happy to keep yours on a lead, or off - whatever you are comfortable with.
“Highly recommended, great communication and updates with pictures and videos showing how much fun our Bruno had with her adorable Lottie outdoor! She accommodated Bruno at short notice and looked after him very well. We will definitely contact her again in the future.”

About: I have owned dogs for most of my life, very recently getting my own puppy who is now 4 months old. I understand the importance of providing not only exercise but also companionship and care. Doing lots of my own research and my experience as a dog owner has taught me how to read canine behavior, basic training, manage different temperaments, and ensure a safe and enjoyable outing/space. I’m quite flexible with plenty of time to look after your pups! With availability for boarding, walks, drop ins and any other pet services you need. I also have my own vehicle. I have a good sized fenced off back garden with a friendly fur baby of my own to keep your fur baby company, with lots of doggy toys to keep entertained. I also have a crate can easily crate your dog if needed.
About: You may notice a gap in our recent reviews, we took a short break for personal reasons, but we are so excited to be back! We truly love every 'furry' guest we host and can’t wait to meet yours. I currently work a hybrid schedule, so I am unable to accept dogs with severe separation anxiety. However, I am a great fit for pups who are comfortable being home for up to 4.5 hours (half a workday). For the other half of the day, I work from home and your little one will have my full attention! Every dog has a unique personality. The more you share about their specific needs and quirks, the better we can ensure they have a wonderful 'staycation' while you’re away. Please reach out with any questions! We know leaving your dog can be stressful for both of you. Your pet's well-being is our top priority. A meet and greet is essential so we can assess compatibility and how quickly your dog settles into a new environment. If everything goes well, we recommend a trial stay. We want to ensure your dog is happy and relaxed while you're away. While we'd love to care for every dog, we're unable to accept pets with separation anxiety or those who cannot be left alone, as our setup doesn't allow for 24/7 home care. However, you can be confident that your dog will receive lots of love and attention during their stay with us! For the garden: "We have a private, fenced-in garden in the front and a tiered garden in the back, offering your dog safe spaces to explore and relax." For the canal walks: "I'm familiar with some scenic canal paths perfect for calm walks and playtime. These offer a peaceful alternative to busier city areas."
“Amazing!! The best sitter I have used for Ziggy. Ziggy spent the day with Katarzyna, she kept us up to date all day and was just amazing. We are so happy to have found someone we trust in the area ❤️”

About: Hi, I’m Claire I only care for one dog at a time, so your dog will be the only guest in a calm, relaxed home. I work best with dogs that are settled in a normal home routine, happy to snooze, potter around the house, enjoy their walks, and relax afterwards. My aim is to give them a peaceful stay where they feel secure rather than overstimulated. I’ve cared for dogs and cats of many breeds over the years and understand how important consistency is. I will follow your pet’s usual routine closely so they can settle quickly and feel comfortable. I’m fully insured and qualified in Pet First Aid, and I provide regular photo updates so you can relax knowing they’re happy and settled. To keep the environment calm for all pets in my care, I’m best suited to animals that: • are house trained • can be left briefly without distress • sleep through the night • are comfortable in a home setting If that sounds like your pet, I’d love to hear from you and learn their usual routine and favourite things. Qualifications: Pet Care Certificate Professional Pet Sitting Diploma Advanced Pet First Aid I work from home full time and walk three times a day; usually around 8am, 1pm and 6pm, however this can be changed to suit. I live in an apartment with plenty of space, however there are a few dogs in the building which yours is likely to meet so needs to be fine with them. My building is secure with an underfloor car park so when going in the car, your pet won’t leave the building until they’re belted in. I can adapt my place to suite your pet’s needs and they will be allowed in any room. I can also stick to any rules you may already have for them.
“Booked for daycare to see how Roland settled before a night stop over as he is an anxious boy with a few additional needs! Helena was instantly responsive, friendly and enthusiastic which put our mind at ease. Lots of photos and its clear he had the best time, so now booked for the night stop over 🩵”

“Another 5 star review. Jack is very well looked after. 3rd time now. She is very reliable, very caring and Jack clearly feels very comfortable with her! Booking for regular dog sitting now. Thanks Chloe!”

“We left our dog with a dogsitter for the first time, and I was quite worried — I didn’t know how he would behave, whether he might be aggressive, or miss us too much. But everything went perfectly. I received several messages with updates about how he was doing, and I always knew I could reach out and get a quick reply. I’m very grateful to Ance — she is truly caring and attentive, both with animals and their owners. Highly recommended!”

He can also give your dog space if that's what they need. Fully secured garden for toilet breaks, but most of the time we can walk down to the river in 5 mins from our house, explore the woods or go upto the moors. At weekends your pets will have full time care from At least 1 adult. During week we work from home but go walks 2 to 3 times a day and have a safe enclosed garden option at all times I have a fenced garden, we have a old beagle that keeps to himself and a playful Boston terrier if your dog wants to play. “Finnan had a great time once again with Kate and Dottie. It really is a huge weight off knowing that he’s in good hands and has a lovely friend to play with whilst we’re not around. Kate is excellent at keeping us informed with pictures and messages during his stay to let us know he’s doing well and having fun. Highly recommended”

Katherine couldn't have been more fantastic. She was so helpful with pick ups and drop offs, sent photos through the day, and great communication before and during the booking. As a needy hound, my dog can be hard work and anxious but she looked utterly relaxed and like she'd enjoyed herself when I picked her up. Thank you :)
