About: Hi! We’re Lily and Joe, a couple based in Halifax. We both work flexibly from home (spacious and comfortable) so can offer lots of attention to your dog. Lots of green space around my village for walks. We have vast experience dog sitting for friends/family as well as having my own family dogs for 20+ years. Myself and Joe live an active lifestyle and love going for walks. We look forward to caring for your lovely dogs! I work flexibly from home so can be there to care for your dogs every need and let them out for toilet / walk as often as needed. The back of my house is fenced off and secure, and my house doors are always locked for security. My house is open plan and spacious so very comfortable for your pets.

About: We had dogs and birds as children. We have had cats throughout our married life. Unfortunately we both work full time and cannot offer the care and love needed for a dog at this moment in our life. The children are so desperate for a dog and love any sort of animal. We have a 13 year old son and 9 year old daughter. I am a headteacher. I work full time but have 13 weeks holiday plus weekends with 2 very keen children and a husband, Andy, who love animals and will help to look after them. We currently have no pets of our own other than fish. We love to take care of animals. We have a fenced back garden with a huge moor, woods and park areas on our doorstep. We love walking in the countryside.

About: From a young age I have always been fond of all animals and as a family we took on the role as puppy walkers for Guide Dogs. One puppy we adopted unfortunately developed arthritis so could no longer carry on the training but this allowed us to keep him and we had a fantastic 13 years together. He made my childhood and although in adulthood I haven't taken a dog on myself, I am a serial dog auntie to many and offered dog walks and pet sitting to friends/family/colleagues/neighbours etc before I started extending this to services on Rover. I am a really keen walker and know some great dog friendly routes but also always keen for the excuse to find new ones. I do work but have flexibility in my schedule and can work from home too which means I am on hand to be with pets in the day. I do not have the commitments of kids or other pets myself so again can offer that flexible care in the week to meet the needs of different people and their pets. I offer hands on care to ensure the safety and comfort and any pet I am responsible for. I want owners to feel assured their beloved animals are in safe hands. I am flexible to follow the wishes of owners to meet the individual needs of their pets, (however quirky they may be).

About: i will look after any animal such as rats dogs hamsters reptiles birds, (anything besides cats due to allergies) and im looking to gain experience in pet care so it will help a lot, thank you. im free whenever, never really busy so i can do drop ins, house sitting or dog walks at any time during the day or night regularly big walks and daily grooming with lots of affection. When i do house sittings at other places i will respect the rules and make sure the dog comes first

About: I’ve been looking after my family’s, friend’s and own dogs for over five years now. I have a beautiful 4 year old black Labrador called Harry who I have had since he was a puppy and trained him well. He is a very spoiled pampered pooch and I treat all dogs in my care the same. I have experience looking after dogs of all shapes and sizes from Frenchies and Beagles to German Pointers and young puppies. We walk for miles each day and there are some beautiful walks on my door step. But Harry also very much enjoys sleeping and lazy days so we can cater to your dog’s needs. I work from home most days. I have to go into the office once or twice a week but I could not go in if your dog isn’t happy being left alone (with Harry) for a few hours. Harry isn’t neutered - he is very soft and friendly and gets on with all dogs but I would do a meet and greet before agreeing to any boarding or walking as his safety and wellbeing is my priority. Dogs are welcome on the furniture but I am also happy to keep them off if that’s what you would prefer. I have an enclosed front garden but only let the dogs out with my supervision. I have experience giving medication to my own dog and am happy to do whatever is best for your dog. About: I have lived with and been surrounded by cats and dogs my whole life, particularly rescues. I have experience with puppies/kitties but also senior pets! I have a completely open schedule 90% of the time, so I have more than enough time to care for and play with your pets! I understand some pets require more attention than others, I believe play and exercise are very important. About: As well as our own 20 month old dog, Poppy, we care for our parents’ 14 year old dog on a regular basis as well as friends & families dogs. We have over a years experience using Rover and caring for dogs privately too. We have cared for dogs for up to 3 weeks at a time, and very comfortable adjusting our lifestyle to suit the needs of dogs in our care. We have even taken dogs on holiday with us! Our lovely dog Poppy (a cross Spaniel/Beagle/Terrier) loves the company of other dogs, which is part of the reason we have signed up to care for other dogs. We are really comfortable with other pets, have a very dog friendly home, where they will be treat like our own and kept safe, warm and loved for as long as they are here. We recently welcomed a lovely baby boy into the world, so please note that any dogs we care for MUST be happy and comfortable around children and babies. I (Emily) work from home flexibly, and currently walk our own dog 3 times a day between us. We have an active lifestyle and love being at home. With us already having a dog of our own, we spend most weekends walking and taking her to the pub! We have a fenced, sizeable back garden which is perfect for your dog. We also have room for your dog to be kept separately from our own at night, whether that be on our sofa or in his/her own crate. We are really flexible and happy to accommodate your pets needs whilst staying with us. We live across the road from a big playing area where there are plenty of dog walkers, and have a park and woods on our doorstep too. Our dog walks off the lead, but we’re happy to keep yours on a lead, or off - whatever you are comfortable with.

About: I love to stay active, so walks and having a good old play are as exciting for me as they are for your dog! I’ve looked after and boarded dogs of many breeds and sizes, from puppies to senior dogs. I understand their differing needs and energy levels, but will also make sure I get to know your pup’s individual needs. I’ve also grown up with cats and rodents and offer care for cats and small animals too. I work from home on Mondays and Tuesdays, so can offer boarding and daycare on these days. I can fit walks into most days around my work as a therapist and yoga teacher. I offer boarding on days I am available, including weekends. Take a look at my calendar to see when I’m free, I try to update this regularly. I am offering daycare and boarding in my home, which is a flat which has stairs to enter. If smaller dogs aren’t great with stairs then I can carry them, but may not be able to take larger dogs who can’t do stairs. Get in touch if you’re not sure!

About: I've grown up with animals, especially dogs. Whether it was my grandparents' German Shepherd or my own Jack Russell, I have an affinity with animals. I'm currently studying part-time and work part-time so there's a bit of flexibility for dog walking but it depends on my shift pattern. I'm an early riser, so morning walks are absolutely fine! I work 3 days a week in Lindley Huddersfield – pet sitting would be suitable if on certain days they can be left alone. Unfortunately I can't care for pets in my own home. Not because I don't want to but it's a rented property in a listed building.

About: I've had pets (mostly dogs) all my life. I still have a Cavalier King Charles that lives with my mum since I left home, he's 13 years old! I've walked dogs since I can remember. From age 10/11 my neighbours would let me take their dogs for a walk on the moors we lived next too on a regular basis. I have just recently left my job of 15 years. I'm looking for a change that fits in with my 2 children and my Labrador Mac. So I'm available 24/7. I have a good sized garden that's fenced off. I'm also buying a kennel for the patio in summer. My dog sleeps in the living room/kitchen at night. I do have a cage if needed.

About: Hello, I am 35 years old and have taken care of dogs for as long as I remember. I have always loved dogs but lately I have also developed an interest in dog's behaviour and training and have taken some online courses. I am familiar with either small or big dogs and different breeds. My family and friends have dogs and often rely on me for looking after them while they are away. I am extremely caring, reliable and loving, but also very attentive, expecially when out and about for walks. When you leave me your fur friend, I want to make sure you feel comfortable and happy knowing your best friend will have the best care as if he/she was my own pooch. I work from myself as a Designer, so I'll have plenty on time to spend with your best friend, by going for long walks, playing, cuddling and if required a bit of basic training too! My schedule is very flexible, I am available for walking /sittings and/or boarding during weekdays and weekends, depending on my Rover calendar availability. We live in a very large apartment and it's only my partner and I, no kids or other dogs/pets. My partner, David, also works from home and usually joins me for a long walk at lunchtime to spend some time with your pooch as, like me, he is a dog lover and has a strong understanding of dog training too. However I will be the main one looking after your pooch as I am self-employed so can schedule my time around commitments. We live by the canal surrounded by nature, with plenty of long walks and parks.
