Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Over the years I’ve cared for everything from dogs and cats to rabbits, rats, hamsters, and gerbils. These days, I’m a proud dog mum to a Romanian rescue and two wonderfully bonkers spaniels – so I know all about zoomies, cuddles, and muddy pawprints! I’ve worked as a professional dog groomer, giving me hands-on experience with breeds of all shapes and sizes – from tiny Yorkshire terriers to gentle giants like a St Bernard–Newfoundland cross. I also have experience with rescue dogs and pups with behaviour challenges, and I’ve trained my mum’s service dogs, which has taught me patience, consistency, and how to help nervous dogs feel safe and happy. When caring for pets in their own home, I prioritise maintaining their usual routines and environment to help them feel safe and relaxed. I begin by understanding the owner's instructions in detail—feeding schedules, exercise needs, medication, and any behavioural quirks or preferences. I always approach animals calmly and respectfully, allowing them to come to me in their own time, especially if they’re nervous or reactive. I ensure the home stays clean and secure, and I keep a close eye on the pet’s wellbeing—monitoring for any signs of stress, discomfort, or illness. I also provide regular updates to the owner, including photos and notes, so they feel reassured while they’re away. My goal is to offer the same level of care and attention the pet receives from their family, with plenty of affection, patience, and positive reinforcement.

A typical day
A day with me and your pup is all about fun, cuddles, and happy tails! We’ll start with a good morning walk and some playtime to get those wiggles out. Then it’s breakfast, belly rubs, and maybe a nap (for them, not me!). We’ll have more walks, games, and plenty of love throughout the day. I’ll stick to their routine so they feel comfy and cared for—like they’re on their own little doggy holiday!
