Ashleigh’s wonderful dog Arlo is also superb, Benson is a rescue who is friendly with dogs but he doesn’t understand how to play, Arlo has been gradually encouraging Benson and yesterday they had their first big play together, Ashleigh sent me lots of photos and said it was adorable to see them having such a delightful time together. I couldn’t recommend Ashleigh highly enough!”

About: I have had dogs throughout my entire life, and more recently I became a registered veterinary nurse, where I work mostly with dogs. I often look after my dad’s dog Stanley, who is seen on my profile picture. We recently went on a solo holiday together, where we enjoyed going on lots of hikes. Being an RVN, I am trained in CPR and giving medications. I currently work a night shift rotation of 1 week on and 2 weeks off. I plan to only pet sit during my 2 weeks off so that I am available at all times during the day. I will diligently follow instructions from the owner, while also using my professional judgement on the wellbeing of the cat. If I have any concerns I will immediately contact the owner, and stay with the cat until I am sure that everything is okay. During my visits I will spend time with the cat, and try to gain their trust. However, I also understand that cats like their space and boundaries respected. I am available to go on either short walks with your dog or longer walks with a maximum of 2 hours. I will diligently follow your instructions on what your dog likes during their walk!

About: I have just graduated as a veterinary surgeon this year! Therefore, I have lots of experience around animals. I have undertaken placements in vets, kennels, and in numerous farm settings. I have my own dog who has unfortunately had spinal surgery twice so I understand how to cater to specific needs and the extra care that is needed with some animals which I am willing to give! About: I’ve grown up around dogs and horses, plus cows, sheep, cats, goats and chickens on our friends farm. I have had dogs, chickens and owned 2 horses of my own too. I’ve looked after friends dogs as well as pet rats and cats. I really do love animals. About: I have been on rover since November 2023 and as massive dog lovers, we are having the time of our lives looking after other people's pets. I have had dogs all our life and been surrounded by dogs in the family since childhood. I have a Labrador called Bella who is 7, she is great with other dogs and very well behaved. She is a real pampered pooch, regularly exercised and has lots of cuddles. Unfortunately we lost Ted our 8 year old Labrador to cancer in September 24, you will most likely read a lot about him in our reviews. We now have Nelly who is a 1 year old lab. Both are great with dogs, however they don’t always have to come to your house when I am dog sitting, sometimes they can stay at home. Monday to Friday Maria works from home so your pooch will have lots of company and cuddles. I work local to home for lunchtime walks. On evening and weekends I run or walk with Bella, so your dog will get plenty of exercise. We have a large enclosed garden for safety , Bella sleeps downstairs in the kitchen or living room, your dog can sleep up or downstairs.

About: I have grown up around dogs my entire life, and after patiently waiting for the right time in my life, I finally got my own Cocker Spaniel Bella, in June 2024. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made🥰 We walk for miles and miles together, exploring new places, whilst enjoying our regular favourite spots, and she loves to join me on my morning runs. We have the best time together, and we would love nothing more than your furry friend to join us on our adventures. Bella gets on well with other dogs, although a little cautious at first, she will soon be happily running along side them, and having competitions as to who can find the best stick😅 Equally, if your dog would prefer to be alone, that is absolutely no problem what so ever, and Bella can stay at home and get some much needed rest😅 Walks can be as long or as short as your pet desires. I currently work shifts, 4 days on, 4 days off, therefore I am available to walk your dog or drop on by on any of my days off. I am very flexible with times and will happily fit around your pets needs/schedule. I am also happy to drive within 30 minutes of Yeadon, to come walk or care for your dog. My dream one day is to eventually become a full time dog walker. About: I have lots of experience looking after people’s pets. I worked at a dog kennels for just over 4 years, caring for all types of dog breeds. I am currently studying illustration at Leeds beckett university however I have 4 days of my week free (Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday) to come home and do any available jobs. I currently have two dogs at home, an elderly springer spaniel and a miniature dachshund who has just turned one years old. They are both very well trained and get on very well with other dogs.

About: I’ve always loved animals especially dogs and I treat them literally like fur babies! Ever since I was a young child I’ve had dogs around me and as pets. I use to always enjoy walking the neighbours dogs too. I’ve looked after friends and family’s pets numerous of times whilst they’ve been on holiday or just at work. I have a cocker spaniel of my own so he loves tagging along for the exercise and to socialise with other dogs! I’ve also helped friends when their dogs have had a litter. I helped them with feeding, toilet training and to keep clean.
