About: My first job as a teenager was walking and sitting neighborhood dogs and I’ve lived with cats, dogs and other animals my whole life. I now volunteer at a rescue and vet practice and study pet first aid too I usually work weekdays from 10am-5:30pm so all visits will be after 5:30. For overnights I will arrive around 6-7pm and leave in the morning around 9:30am. I am able to do multiple drop ins after work and depending on location I can do early morning visits too. Walks are always on afternoons unless it’s a weekend. I am a very laid back person who has a calm and approachable nature with animals. I am trained in safe handling of animals, pet first aid and have years of experience dealing with all types of pets. You can count on me to always be attentive, calm and in control.
About: I have a love of all animals and treat everyone’s as my own. My home has plenty of space to accommodate all your pets requirements. I work part time from home so I am always around the house so your pet would not be left alone for more than an hour. I have a large enclosed garden with lockable gates to prevent access. My own pets have the run of the house and garden but each animal will be assessed and cared for as an individual and I have multiple rooms should some space from other animals be required.
“Jess arrived on time and was sweet and attentive with Lottie. It was a huge help to my morning having Jess assist in walking Lottie. I look forward to finding out more about their activities on their next walk. Thanks again Jess 🐶☺️”

“Courtney helped us out massively when we had a super quick turn around organising a wedding at Harrogate registry office. We needed someone to walk our two little pooches during the ceremony so all our loved ones could attend and she was there as soon as we arrived, and kept them for a little longer as the ceremony ran over. Marlow and Reggie returned super happy! The wedding was so special and we are so grateful to Courtney for helping us out 🥰”

“Jamie walks our dogs regularly, and they always come back happy, relaxed and tired afterwards. They also go bonkers when they hear him arrive to pick them up - he is very well-loved by them, a clear sign of the care and attention he gives them.”

“Lucy was excellent. We were up in Pateley Bridge for a wedding and nervous leaving Jeff alone. She filled us with confidence that he was in safe hands. She kept us updated with photos and texts on how he was. Thank you Lucy ☺️”

About: I’ve lived with dogs my whole life, but my passion for training really took off when i rescued a Spaniel x Beagle. He started out reactive to other dogs, with no recall and a habit of disappearing after anything that moved. Through daily training and hundreds of hours of learning, I transformed him into a confident, social dog with reliable off-lead freedom, excellent recall, and advanced obedience. That journey gave me a genuine passion for helping dogs learn and building their confidence. I now volunteer every week at a dog rescue, working with dogs of all breeds, ages and temperaments. I’m comfortable handling everything from nervous and reactive dogs to strong pullers and high-energy working breeds. Whether your dog simply needs a fun walk, plenty of attention and a home away from home, or would benefit from some extra work on recall, lead manners, general obedience or behavioural issues during their stay, I’d love to help. I genuinely enjoy training and am happy to take on dogs that need a little extra guidance. We also have private, secure land, giving dogs a safe space to exercise and train away from distractions when needed. I work full time from home so always able to keep an eye on dogs. Normally the day starts with a walk round the fields/local paths. Then we settle down, few 5 min spurs of obedience training through the day and then a big afternoon walk. Evening will maybe have a small additional walk or some training. We have a fenced garden, fenced private fields - all possible escape routes have been found and fixed thanks to our escape artist. My dog is always around - he’s a beagle x spaniel full of energy.
About: I adore dogs! I have helped run a dog kennels for over 3 years before I went travelling. I have also worked at a dog and cat animal charity for 1.5 years in Edinburgh, where I'm from. When I was travelling in Australia I also done dog walking as I needed my doggy fix down under as well. I had a family dog who was my absolute soul dog and best friend. I would care for your dog like it was my own furry pal. I currently work in the nhs supporting children with mental health issues. This is a challenging but very rewarding career. I do miss having furry, four legged friends in my life though. My schedule changes each week and I can be working different days each week but my work can be flexible if I'm given enough notice as to what days you need pet cover. We have a fenced garden at the back of the property. We are hoping to get a dog this year which would offer company to your dog, if that's what they like. We will be patient with your dog and keep it's routine as close to being at home as we can.
“Tiggy and I really enjoyed meeting Halle for our first walk together. I'm very confident that the two of them are going to get along really well. My dog is fairly anxious but she was very relaxed with Halle, which is great sign, and I'm excited to get more walks booked in!”

About: I have looked after dogs/puppies since my Sons left home 10 years ago. I am very trustworthy and treat all dogs as if they are part of my family. I simply love all dogs. I can also arrange dog grooming while they stay with me, a job less for you. My location where I live is perfect and safe for all dogs. I only take dogs from one household at any time so that they get my undivided attention. You are welcome to arrange to visit my home before confirming any bookings. I am retired and can spend all day/night looking after your dogs. I live in a fabulous location surrounded by fields this allows for some great walks. My house is a detatched house located in the middle of fields. My garden is fenced in with dry stone walling. The ground floor of my house is floor boarding and tiles so very practical for dog caring.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that I’m confident caring for all ages and temperaments — from energetic puppies who need structure and training, to older pets who need patience, gentler routines, and extra reassurance. I’m also happy to support basic training with young pets, including routines, lead manners, and positive reinforcement. I live alone, so your pet will get my full attention and plenty of one-to-one care throughout their stay. 🐾💛 I live alone, and work part time. I am in and out my apartment regularly throughout the day so will be able to provide that constant care whilst your little one stays! I have heaps of land around me where your dog to go play and explore! My apartment is spacious enough for a animal to enjoying but also feel safe and not afraid

About: I’ve been a pet sitter with Rover for a couple of years, based in Liverpool. I took on a host of new clients for dog sitting and walking, buildings a great relationship with pets and owners. I’m in based back in North Yorkshire and looking to continue my Rover journey. I’ve looked after my own animals and done pet sitting for friends and family for several years. I also used to volunteer at a dog rescue centre. I’m competent with all pets of all ages and sizes. I love walking so exercising won’t be a problem, but if your pet is mainly in need of love and attention I’ve got plenty of that to give too. I can offer pet sitting services, daycare, and walking from your own home. I can also offer day care in my own home (based on a farm), but only for pets that are friendly with other animals (dogs, chickens) and have excellent recall for their own safety. I’m getting back into full time work in academia after travelling. My work is very flexible which allows me time for plenty of walks during the day and evenings. I will be happy to discuss any pet sitting or walking arrangements and find what suits your needs. I am happy to follow your lead with how you would like your pet to be looked after at home (downstairs only, allowed on furniture etc.). For day care in my own home (no overnight stays), pets must be happy around other animals as I live on a farm. I have a safe enclosed garden and quiet fields all around for walks.
