About: I have looked after dogs/puppies since my Sons left home 10 years ago. I am very trustworthy and treat all dogs as if they are part of my family. I simply love all dogs. I can also arrange dog grooming while they stay with me, a job less for you. My location where I live is perfect and safe for all dogs. I only take dogs from one household at any time so that they get my undivided attention. You are welcome to arrange to visit my home before confirming any bookings. I am retired and can spend all day/night looking after your dogs. I live in a fabulous location surrounded by fields this allows for some great walks. My house is a detatched house located in the middle of fields. My garden is fenced in with dry stone walling. The ground floor of my house is floor boarding and tiles so very practical for dog caring.

Rachel was very easy to communicate with, and Maple was evidently having a great time with Rachel. Only issue would be the worry that your pet will like Rachel more than yourself! Highly recommend

Armish looked after my cat while I was away for a few days and I couldn’t have asked for more. She sent lots of updates and photos after every visit, which really helped put my mind at ease. It was obvious she genuinely spent time with my cat rather than just popping in to feed him. I’ll definitely be booking her again.

About: I have lots of experience caring for pets as my degree has allowed me to work in both kennels and catteries, getting to know different animals and how to care for them. I have always had pets in the house and have a great love for all animals. My degree is quite full on, however midweek and weekends I would be able fit you and your pet in. Being around animals is very important to me and I often drop anything for the opportunity to cuddle a cute pup I am not able to have pets in my home at the moment but would be more than happy looking after your pet in your home, or taking your dogs for walks. I would be more confident walking dogs on leads as I would be worried if they do not have strong recall skills, however I would always ensure they have enough excercise.

About: Hi, I'm Helene 👋 I'm a Registered Veterinary Nurse with 6 years of hands on experience. I currently work nights at an emergency referral hospital in York, and before that spent 2 years at a first opinion practice in London. At home I have two rescue cats and a dog, all of whom I adore. One of my cats is geriatric and needs daily subcutaneous fluids and medication, so I'm very comfortable with ongoing treatments, injections, and medication schedules. My dog is also getting on in years and attends hydrotherapy sessions, so I understand the extra care, patience, and gentle handling that older pets often need. I still make time for long walks and hikes with her, along with plenty of cuddles on the sofa. I've pet and house sat in both Norway and the UK, and cat sat regularly through my work, so I'm used to settling quickly into different homes and routines. Whether your pet needs medication given properly, an eye kept on a health condition, mobility support, or just a calm and familiar face while you're away, I will treat them exactly like my own. I have a car, so I'm happy to travel to you. Looking forward to meeting you and your pets! I work night shifts on a rotating schedule, which means I get several consecutive days off at a time. When I'm off, your pet gets my full attention, with no other job or commitments competing for my time. I'm available all day, every day during those periods, so there's plenty of flexibility for walks, visits, feeding, medication, or just company, whatever your pet needs. Because of my schedule, it's worth reaching out with your dates in advance so we can plan around my rotation, but once I'm booked in, you can expect consistency and full attention for the whole time I'm looking after your pet. While I'm unable to host animals at my current residence, I'm available for dog walking, playtime in parks, or coming to your home to care for your pet. I will follow all your animals routine and care that they are used to. I know it can be stressful for an animal to have a stranger in their home, so I therefore fully believe following routines and your normal day is essential for good care. As a qualified RVN, I'm trained in CPR, emergency procedures, and animal behaviour, so your pet will be in safe, experienced hands.

About: I have been a petsiitter, walker, companion for many years. I love all fur babies, recently looked after chickens too. I have a car, can work in York and surrounding areas. Will consider further afield but a minimum of one continous week. Always recommend a meetup before a booking for a cuppa and maybe a biscuit 😉 Recently retired. As i am an animal lover and experienced pet sitter for cats, dogs, chickens i can't think of a better way to spend my time. I cannot look after pets in my own home sadly. I can only offer pet sitting, Vet visits, Pop-ins for all fur babies, chickens, feeding, comforting, walking. Sadly I cannot look after reactive dogs because of past experience.

She is a playful dog. I am student and I am available to take care of dogs 24/7 as I am studying at home. I can take care on the weekends too with my boyfriend as he loves dogs too. I like to make sure their owner feel confident of leaving their child with some else. I would be very happy of taking care of the new members and make company for my little dog too. I really like walking, so it will make my walk funnier and enjoyable as I will have their company and won’t go by myself. I really like to take my dog for a little playground, as they can relief their energy by playing with each other and have a fresh air. It makes my day much better. If they are happy I am happy. I love demonstrating my consideration and admiration for them by giving them my attention. To make our loved ones to keep a routine, i need you to send me all their information to make it easier when they are staying with me. I have experienced taking care of my family’s dog, they have relied on me to walk and feed them. So bringing their food, toys and bed if you have one will help increase comfort at my house. I will always share photos and keep in contact with their owners. Thank you for trusting on me, Maria. 💕 I’m currently studying at home so I have plenty of time to take care of our pets and take them for a walk to have a fresh air and do some exercise with myself. We live in a unfenced house which there is a big garden, we got a barrier for our dogs which it help a lot our control with the dogs. Out neighbour is lovely, they have a dog as well so sometimes my dog goes to see their dog and play with their dog too.

About: Hello! I’m Megan. Ive looked after a wide range of animals ever since I was ten years old, from Guinea pigs to dogs, cats to chickens. I’ve grown up on a farm , so always been surrounded by animals. I currently have a 14 year old American Cocker Spaniel, who is a little anxious. I also have a 8 year old black lab who is a bundle of energy. We have two cats, a kitten (who is nearly 1 year old! I can’t believe it!) and a 7 year old. We also have lots of chickens and a pony. I love looking after them all, from going on walks around our beautiful area, to keeping them company. From October I will be back at home, studying part time. I study remotely so I can be anywhere! As I’m part of a large family, I know my pets will be well looked after wherever I am. We have a large fenced field for the pony, our dogs love running around there. We are a stones throw away from beautiful river walks in the country side. I have a car and license so can drive.

Absolute Fantastic. Help me short notice in my moment of need when my cat sitter said they could no longer look after Percy, while I was 2000 miles away from home. I was punctual, and spent time with Percy, giving him fuss and taking care of his needs. Photo updates on every visit too! Would highly recommend to anyone who’s needs a pet looking after. 5 stars from me all the way Thanks again Gloria :) Tom x

About: Since childhood, I have always had a family dog, so being around and caring for dogs has been a big part of my life. I’ve been volunteering most weekends at Holly Hedge Dog Sanctuary, whenever my work schedule allows. During my time there, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of dogs, each with different personalities and needs. This experience has not only shown my love for animals but has also helped me develop a strong confidence in looking after dogs and understanding their behavior. It's something I really enjoy and feel passionate about. My work schedule changes each week, so feel free to send me a message! Your dog will always be my top priority, and I will make sure to find time to give them the attention they deserve. I’m currently living in military accommodation on Catterick Camp. While my living area isn’t very spacious, I can guarantee that your dog will receive plenty of attention and care. I’ll make sure to take them out for walks in a secure and safe environment where they can enjoy themselves. Your dog's well-being is important to me, and I want to ensure they have the exercise, love and attention they need.

Thanks so much. A really lovely interaction with Jess so far. Though we didn’t have time to arrange a meet and greet she was happy to follow instructions left. Bramble seemed content and happy! Peace of mind when we do have other non dog things planned and it is too hot to take her with!

Rhianne looked after our dog, Bramble, with such gentle and loving care. She took her out for regular walks and spent plenty of quality time keeping her company. Aside from our initial contact to help Rhianne get settled in and find her way around, the only messages we received were lovely updates and photos throughout her stay. We were completely at ease and highly recommend her. We truly hope she will come back to sit Bramble the next time we need some help. Thank you so much, Rhianne!

We just love knowing that Abi is taking care of our dogs, she is super responsive to our messages and was great at checking in with us after each visit that she came to let them out for the toilet and some company. Abi met our lovely other dog Sylvie for drop ins this time, and it's clear that they got on like a house on fire! Abi gives us so much peace of mind and we are so grateful for her visits 🙏🏻 🐕
