“Very professional and friendly, she consistently sent updates and photos, as well as when food ran out and an issue occurred with delivery on my kibble subscription, she went and picked up extra food. Above and beyond care for my pet, I will definitely be hiring her again.”

“This was my first time using a house sitter for my cat and I could've have asked for anyone better than Emma to guide us along. Everything went so smooth and it gave us peace of mind recieving updates for each visit. I couldn't recommend Emma more :)”

“Rhianne is a lovely young lady who I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and will be rebooking her for when we go away again. Maurice has been well cared for and is so much happier than she ever was coming back from the cattery, even though they also provided excellent service. Thank you Rhianne xx”

About: I've loved dogs all my life and made it my dream job of being a walker and trainer in 2018. I am experienced with all kinds of breeds, sizes, ages and temperaments! Being my own boss and working part time, I am in and out all day and spend a lot of time at home to care for your dogs. I have a fenced garden for your dogs to run around in, as long as they get on with my two dogs and my 9 year old daughter! They will receive alot of care and attention, and as long a walk as they would like!
“Thanks to Jess for dropping in daily particularly to feed my elderly cat. This meant that Holly didn’t have to leave the comfort of her home. Jess did a great job of feeding and emptying litter trays as well as cleaning up after any accidents. I would certainly recommend and would use again. Thanks Tina”

I understand that trusting someone with your beloved pet is a big deal and I take this very seriously. I'm currently in university Thursday and Friday until 2pm but I am happy to work around any other time to suit your needs and have lots of free time. I have a fenced front garden and a secure flat. Dogs can be let out easily and it is a cosy environment here where dogs are welcome to cuddle on the sofa! I understand the importance of your dog feeling safe at home and secure and your dog's happiness is my highest priority.
About: I have a love of all animals and treat everyone’s as my own. My home has plenty of space to accommodate all your pets requirements. I work part time from home so I am always around the house so your pet would not be left alone for more than an hour. I have a large enclosed garden with lockable gates to prevent access. My own pets have the run of the house and garden but each animal will be assessed and cared for as an individual and I have multiple rooms should some space from other animals be required.

About: I’ve always loved animals and have experience looking after my mum’s and sister’s dogs while they’ve been away on holiday. I’ve cared for them in my own home, making sure they stick to their usual routines with feeding, walks, playtime, and lots of affection. Looking after pets has taught me how important it is to provide a safe, calm, and loving environment where they feel comfortable while their owners are away. I understand that every dog has their own personality and routine, and I’m happy to adapt to their individual needs. Although I’m new to Rover, I’m reliable, responsible, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I’ll care for your pet as if they were my own and keep you updated with regular messages and photos so you can relax knowing they’re in safe hands. I currently work part-time, which gives me flexibility to provide pet care throughout the week. My availability may vary slightly depending on my work shifts, but I’m happy to accommodate drop-in visits, house sitting, and overnight care whenever possible. Feel free to get in touch with your dates, and I’ll always do my best to help. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I provide a calm, friendly, and welcoming home where pets can relax and feel part of the family. I don’t have any other pets, so your pet will have my full attention and won’t need to adjust to other animals in the home. Pets are welcome on the furniture if that is part of their normal routine, helping them feel comfortable and at ease. I am happy to follow your pet’s usual habits and routines, including feeding, exercise, and any special requirements. I work part time, which means I am home a lot and can provide plenty of company, attention, and care throughout the day. I also have a roommate who is usually home when I am not, so your pet will rarely be left alone. I am also happy to stay in your home if that is what makes your pet feel most comfortable. I understand that every pet is different and will always aim to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience. I will keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel reassured while your pet is in my care.

I’m happy to offer one-off visits or consistent scheduled walks during these times, providing reliable and caring support when owners may need it most. When caring for dogs on walks, their safety and wellbeing are always my top priority. I ensure each walk is suited to the dog’s age, breed, and energy level, providing the right balance of exercise, stimulation, and routine. I’m attentive to their body language and surroundings at all times, keeping them safe, secure, and happy while out and about. During home visits, I make sure dogs feel comfortable and relaxed in their familiar environment. I follow all owner instructions carefully — whether that includes feeding, refreshing water, administering basic care, playtime, or simply offering companionship and reassurance. About: I have looked after dogs/puppies since my Sons left home 10 years ago. I am very trustworthy and treat all dogs as if they are part of my family. I simply love all dogs. I can also arrange dog grooming while they stay with me, a job less for you. My location where I live is perfect and safe for all dogs. I only take dogs from one household at any time so that they get my undivided attention. You are welcome to arrange to visit my home before confirming any bookings. I am retired and can spend all day/night looking after your dogs. I live in a fabulous location surrounded by fields this allows for some great walks. My house is a detatched house located in the middle of fields. My garden is fenced in with dry stone walling. The ground floor of my house is floor boarding and tiles so very practical for dog caring.
About: I’ve always been a huge animal lover and grew up with both dogs and cats, so looking after animals has pretty much always been part of everyday life for me. I now have a dog and two cats of my own, all of whom are very much part of the family (and completely spoiled!). I’m confident caring for pets of different ages, personalities and needs, including senior animals who might need a little more patience, a slower pace or some extra TLC. I’m equally happy with energetic dogs who want to get out and explore, nervous or quieter pets who need time to get comfortable, and cats who will decide entirely on their own whether we’re going to be friends. More than anything, I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pets with somebody else. I want you to be able to go away, go to work or just get on with your day feeling completely confident that they’re safe, happy and in good hands. I’ll always take the time to get to know their normal routine, their quirks, what they like (and what they don’t!), and make their time with me feel as familiar and relaxed as possible. And I am absolutely the type of person who will send you far too many photos and updates, because I know that’s exactly what I’d want when someone else was looking after mine. I am a business owner so can be flexible as to timings for popping in to see your pet. Midday visits are possible, but for 2 visits/day, these will typically be in the morning and early evening. As someone who has used pet sitters in the past, I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets. Where possible, I will always meet in person before you go away to make sure everything is done the way you'd want it!

Pet owners share their Rover experiences - Ripon
Our first time using a cat sitter, and we are very happy and grateful. Sandra met the cats in advance and during her visits sorted out their food - including timed feeders - litter boxes, and medication. We were especially appreciative of the updates we received throughout the week, and returned to find the cats happy and in good health.
Rhianne is a lovely young lady who I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and will be rebooking her for when we go away again. Maurice has been well cared for and is so much happier than she ever was coming back from the cattery, even though they also provided excellent service. Thank you Rhianne xx

Thanks so much. A really lovely interaction with Jess so far. Though we didn’t have time to arrange a meet and greet she was happy to follow instructions left. Bramble seemed content and happy! Peace of mind when we do have other non dog things planned and it is too hot to take her with!

We just love knowing that Abi is taking care of our dogs, she is super responsive to our messages and was great at checking in with us after each visit that she came to let them out for the toilet and some company. Abi met our lovely other dog Sylvie for drop ins this time, and it's clear that they got on like a house on fire! Abi gives us so much peace of mind and we are so grateful for her visits 🙏🏻 🐕
