“This was the first time we used Jessica, and we were not disappointed. From the messages before the visit to the care and photo updates while we were away, everything was excellent. Boris, being a bulldog, has specific food requirements and a set routine, which Jessica and her family adapted to perfectly. We felt completely reassured knowing he was in such good hands. We will definitely be using Jessica again in the future. Boris does not like the car and we always have trouble on collection but Jessica’s husband helped get Boris in the car with care, he is now snuggled up having had his favourite dinner , doing his favourite hobby of snoozing 💤”

“This was my second time leaving pebble with Emma and I couldn’t be happier. Pebble loves playing with Max and Pepsi and is so comfortable in their home. Will definitely continue trusting Emma for future stays.”

“Jordan was fantastic, I only booked the evening before and she was so accommodating and easygoing, especially as it was short notice. Doris has a wonderful time, I received regular updates which was great. I’d happily send Doris back anytime. 🩷”

“Fantastic reliable and trustworthy person to leave your fur babies with. Pimm's was well looked after and will definitely use again. Also excellent communication. Thanks Jamie”

“Our usual dog sitter moved recently and we were pretty hard-pressed looking for someone close by. We then came across Constancia and her son Ivan. I am so happy that we chose them. Bella has been looked after and pampered. I couldn't have asked for anything more. She is happy and content. Constancia kept us up to date with pictures and video's of her time. I would highly recommend them and use them again. Thank you.”

“I have used Amanda to look after our old lady Pippa twice now and her service, communication and warmth puts us at such ease. She has a heart of gold and would trust her anytime to look after our dog!”

“June was wonderful, Ventress had a great time. We recoeived video and picture updates which we greatly appreciated! June was very kind and her attention to care was spot on (Ventress is teething so June gave her ice to help sooth her gums). Would definitely recommend and will we definitely will be using June's services again”

“Dobby had the BEST time again with Kathryn! He came back so happy. He gets lovely walks and all the cuddles. He thinks Kathryn’s dog Alba is his best friend… she’s probably glad to see the back of him and get some peace but Dobby has the best time keeping them busy with his craziness! Thanks again Dobby will see you soon xx”

“Michelle and her partner Andy were brilliant with our dog. He seemed to calm down in their presence. So lovely and kind, they tended to our dog like one of their own. Just from their responses and care alone, you can immediately tell that they’re true dog lovers with loving, pure intentions. They constantly had us updated with how our dog was. And we could see he was having fun. It was an absolute joy meeting them!”

“This was our first time using Rover and Odie’s first time away from family members we thought kennels wouldn’t be the right solution for Odie as he needs a quiet space being an older dog and after hours of scrolling for the right person we came across Michael. Reading his profile gave us reassurance and confidence that he would be the right person to look after our boy with his home offering a home from home environment, quiet space, meeting routines, patience and understanding of his personality he ticked all the boxes! Michael was quick to respond with any queries before we went ahead with booking. We received lovely pictures and videos of Odie out on walks and snuggled up at his home and he looked very happy and content throughout the whole Holiday. We had no worries or concerns at any point. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again in the future with Michael as he was very kind, approachable and genuinely very caring. Thanks again Michael for looking after our Odie boy and it was an absolute pleasure meeting you. Enjoy your thank you gift🍾 Craig, Kerri, Kids and Odie”

“Hollie was such a lovely sitter and Mochi Moo had a great time with their cute doggo. I got regular updates of how Mochi was doing and some pictures as well. Mochi settled in so quickly and enjoyed his time there, would highly recommend and will boom again! :D”

“Highly highly recommend leaving your pets with Kira! Our 7-month puppy had the best time at hers, was well looked after in a heatwave, was safe uand happy. She has a wonderful dog proof home and a supportive partner - it was a perfect environment and company for our puppy. We received frequent updates and photos. Their communication was great and flexible.”

About: I’ve honestly had dogs around me for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I’ve owned and cared for everything from tiny pups to large mixed breeds, so I’m completely used to all kinds of dog personalities, sizes, and energy levels. Right now, I have my own 9 year old dog, Simba, so I really understand the day-to-day of caring for a pet, from keeping up with their favorite walk routines to just knowing when they need some quiet downtime. I know how important it is to feel like your dog is safe and happy when you're away, and I promise your pup will be treated like absolute family here! I am at home full-time, which means your dog will rarely, if ever, be left alone and will receive constant care and attention throughout the day. My schedule is incredibly flexible, allowing me to easily maintain your pup's exact feeding times, frequent potty breaks, and specific walk routines. Whether they need active daytime companionship or just a quiet presence to keep them company while they snooze, I am here all day to make sure they feel completely secure and looked after. We have a really warm, dog-loving home where your dog will be treated like one of our own. Our house is a lively, happy family space with myself, my husband (working full-time), and our two university aged kids who are currently back home and absolutely adore dogs. We also have a 4-year-old daughter who is wonderful and very gentle around pets (though she'll be at school for most of the summer). Outside, we have a fully fenced garden with a great grass section, so there's plenty of space for safe sniffing and stretching. Between all of us and our friendly dog Simba, your pup will get non-stop affection, company, and a safe family environment to settle right into!
“Luke was great, he was enthusiastic and friendly and clearly gave them both lots of fuss and attention which they love. He was happy to stick with their usual routines and their little quirks were no problem which was very reassuring as an overprotective dog owner :)”

“Sandra was fantastic with our cat, DJ. She came to meet her prior to looking after her to discuss DJ’s routine. She was friendly, attentive and got to know her before we went on holiday. During our holiday, Sandra kept us updated on how DJ was doing. We returned home to a very happy cat. Thank you, Sandra! 🐈⬛😸”

“This was my first time using a house sitter for my cat and I could've have asked for anyone better than Emma to guide us along. Everything went so smooth and it gave us peace of mind recieving updates for each visit. I couldn't recommend Emma more :)”

“Very professional and friendly, she consistently sent updates and photos, as well as when food ran out and an issue occurred with delivery on my kibble subscription, she went and picked up extra food. Above and beyond care for my pet, I will definitely be hiring her again.”

“Thanks to Jess for dropping in daily particularly to feed my elderly cat. This meant that Holly didn’t have to leave the comfort of her home. Jess did a great job of feeding and emptying litter trays as well as cleaning up after any accidents. I would certainly recommend and would use again. Thanks Tina”

About: I’ve been a pet sitter with Rover for a couple of years, based in Liverpool. I took on a host of new clients for dog sitting and walking, buildings a great relationship with pets and owners. I’m in based back in North Yorkshire and looking to continue my Rover journey. I’ve looked after my own animals and done pet sitting for friends and family for several years. I also used to volunteer at a dog rescue centre. I’m competent with all pets of all ages and sizes. I love walking so exercising won’t be a problem, but if your pet is mainly in need of love and attention I’ve got plenty of that to give too. I can offer pet sitting services, daycare, and walking from your own home. I can also offer day care in my own home (based on a farm), but only for pets that are friendly with other animals (dogs, chickens) and have excellent recall for their own safety. I’m getting back into full time work in academia after travelling. My work is very flexible which allows me time for plenty of walks during the day and evenings. I will be happy to discuss any pet sitting or walking arrangements and find what suits your needs. I am happy to follow your lead with how you would like your pet to be looked after at home (downstairs only, allowed on furniture etc.). For day care in my own home (no overnight stays), pets must be happy around other animals as I live on a farm. I have a safe enclosed garden and quiet fields all around for walks.

About: I grew up with two cats, so I’m very comfortable around different personalities and daily care routines. “Great communication as still abroad when initially booked. Received pics & video which was so reassuring as one of our dogs is rather timid of strangers. Would happily leave then with Emma again if needed. Can't thank you enough, especially when things overran when due to pick them up x”

About: I live in the beautiful village of West Tanfield, surrounded by countryside walks right on my doorstep. I’m lucky to have access to a lovely river loop walk, open fields nearby, and regular trips to Thornborough Henges, which is fully fenced and perfect for safe exploring. I work from home most of the time, so your dog will have plenty of company and a calm, relaxed environment throughout the day. They’re more than welcome to join me in my home office — keeping me company as the “office dog” for the day. I’ve had dogs all my life and recently lost my beautiful black Labrador, Ralph, in January. While I’m not quite ready for another dog of my own, I would love to open my home to yours and give them the same love and care. My aim is to provide a true “home away from home” — dogs are welcome to relax freely in the house and garden, and be part of a safe, comfortable environment. I’ll always treat them as if they were my own. I work from home most days, so your dog will have plenty of company and care. I can only accept bookings when I’m working from home. I only take one dog at a time. Dogs are treated like family and I like them to feel relaxed, with free roam, sofas, beds, a garden fully secure, and countryside walks.

“Our 3.5 month pup had a lovely day with Jessica and her husband. We plan for him to stay while we go on holiday and wanted to give him chance to get to know them first. We were anxious as we had not left him with anyone else, but we didn’t need to worry as he settled straight away- and had lots of fun. Jessica is quick to respond to messages and sent photos of his day. Thank you”

About: Me and my partner regularly care for dogs for friends, family and family friends. Experienced with different breeds, routines, feeding, walks and giving them a safe, loving home. I work Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm, so I only accept bookings that suit my availability. This allows me to give every dog the time, care, and attention they deserve. We have a secure, fenced, good-sized garden for safe outdoor time and play. Your dog will be supervised, well cared for, and treated like part of our family.
“My little dog Mila absolutely loved Laura. In fact every time we walk past the end of her street now my dog pulls me to go & see her. Laura has a warm & kind soul which is perfect for pet sitting our beloved animals. I will definitely be using her services again!!”

“Constancia accommodated our last minute booking to look after Nellie. She was very welcoming when we arrived ensuring we saw the garden. She was keen to know Nellie’s routines and preferences so she could follow them. We got photo updates throughout the day. Nellie was very happy and settled when we collected her. We would definitely use her again.”

“Eleanor and Edward are the best possible people to care for your dog. Stanley 100% loves them and dotty more than us now, and always comes back to happy and tired. I couldn’t recommend anyone more.”

“Coco had a fantastic time with Vivianne - she enjoyed every minute and was well looked after. She had fun in the garden and thrived on the company of the other dog. I was able to relax and enjoy my time away and Vivianne’s attention to detail in sending me a video of Coco playing was greatly appreciated and a lovely touch. I will definitely have Coco looked after by Vivianne again in the future when in the Harrogate area!”

About: My first job as a teenager was walking and sitting neighborhood dogs and I’ve lived with cats, dogs and other animals my whole life. I now volunteer at a rescue and vet practice and study pet first aid too I usually work weekdays from 10am-5:30pm so all visits will be after 5:30. For overnights I will arrive around 6-7pm and leave in the morning around 9:30am. I am able to do multiple drop ins after work and depending on location I can do early morning visits too. Walks are always on afternoons unless it’s a weekend. I am a very laid back person who has a calm and approachable nature with animals. I am trained in safe handling of animals, pet first aid and have years of experience dealing with all types of pets. You can count on me to always be attentive, calm and in control.
“Jess arrived on time and was sweet and attentive with Lottie. It was a huge help to my morning having Jess assist in walking Lottie. I look forward to finding out more about their activities on their next walk. Thanks again Jess 🐶☺️”

“Delighted with Jamie’s help! We booked a last minute dog walking session with Jamie, due to the flu having hit our home and making us unable to walk the dogs ourselves. Jamie graciously accepted, and came round bang on time, taking our dogs out, and returning them happy, calm and tired at the end of the walk. Thank you!”

“Courtney helped us out massively when we had a super quick turn around organising a wedding at Harrogate registry office. We needed someone to walk our two little pooches during the ceremony so all our loved ones could attend and she was there as soon as we arrived, and kept them for a little longer as the ceremony ran over. Marlow and Reggie returned super happy! The wedding was so special and we are so grateful to Courtney for helping us out 🥰”

“Lucy was excellent. We were up in Pateley Bridge for a wedding and nervous leaving Jeff alone. She filled us with confidence that he was in safe hands. She kept us updated with photos and texts on how he was. Thank you Lucy ☺️”

About: I adore dogs! I have helped run a dog kennels for over 3 years before I went travelling. I have also worked at a dog and cat animal charity for 1.5 years in Edinburgh, where I'm from. When I was travelling in Australia I also done dog walking as I needed my doggy fix down under as well. I had a family dog who was my absolute soul dog and best friend. I would care for your dog like it was my own furry pal. I currently work in the nhs supporting children with mental health issues. This is a challenging but very rewarding career. I do miss having furry, four legged friends in my life though. My schedule changes each week and I can be working different days each week but my work can be flexible if I'm given enough notice as to what days you need pet cover. We have a fenced garden at the back of the property. We are hoping to get a dog this year which would offer company to your dog, if that's what they like. We will be patient with your dog and keep it's routine as close to being at home as we can.
“Tiggy and I really enjoyed meeting Halle for our first walk together. I'm very confident that the two of them are going to get along really well. My dog is fairly anxious but she was very relaxed with Halle, which is great sign, and I'm excited to get more walks booked in!”

About: I've always lived with dogs and been around them for as long as I can remember. Always loved training obedience with my late Lab and then a few years ago we rescued a high energy Beagle X Springer Spaniel. He came with the full package of problems, reactive to other dogs, no recall, would disappear after pheasants and anything else that moved. A few months ago I set about properly training him. Spent hundreds of hours learning everything I could, studying training methods online, working with him daily out in the fields and on walks, and completely turned him around. He's now fully off lead, has bombproof recall, walks calmly past other dogs, and has advanced obedience and tricks on top of that. Going from that starting point to where he is now gave me a really deep understanding of how dogs actually work and how rewarding it is seeing a dog improve. Alongside that I volunteer weekly at a dog rescue in Leeds where I walk and assess dogs of all breeds, sizes, and backgrounds. I'm comfortable with reactive dogs, nervous dogs, pullers, and everything in between. If your dog just needs company and a good walk - brilliant, I'm happy to do that. If they've got a bit of work to do: lead manners, reactivity, recall, tricks, whatever it is - even better. I genuinely enjoy the training with dogs. We also have private secure land at home which I can use for dogs that need their own environment or some focused training work away from distractions. I work full time from home so always able to keep an eye on dogs. Normally the day starts with a walk round the fields/local paths. Then we settle down, few 5 min spurs of obedience training through the day and then a big afternoon walk. Evening will maybe have a small additional walk or some training. We have a fenced garden, fenced private fields - all possible escape routes have been found and fixed thanks to our escape artist. My dog is always around - he’s a beagle x spaniel full of energy.

About: I’ve always been a huge animal lover and genuinely love spending time with dogs of all personalities. I volunteered for 2 months with Soi Dog Foundation, where I spent my days walking, caring for, and giving attention to lots of different dogs, including some nervous kennel dogs who needed extra patience and love. In my free time, I also look after my auntie’s cheeky Border Terrier, so I’m very used to energetic walks, playtime, cuddles, and making sure pets feel happy, safe, and spoiled while their owners are away 🐾💕 I choose my own shifts, so I’m usually available with just a few days’ notice! I also only work 3 days a week, which means I’ll have plenty of time during the day for walks, playtime, cuddles, and giving your cute little ones all the attention they deserve 🫶🐾 For your pet’s comfort and safety, I currently offer walks and house visits in your home rather than boarding. I’ll make sure your pets feel happy, cared for, and comfortable in their familiar environment 🫶
About: I grew up with dogs and absolutely love their company for long walks in the area that i live in, along with lots of playtime I am currently single and retired so now have lots and lots of spare of time for lovely long walks and plenty of time to play I have fields on three sides of my house, pets would be able to roam inside bungalow freely or be caged if required by owners
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that I’m confident caring for all ages and temperaments — from energetic puppies who need structure and training, to older pets who need patience, gentler routines, and extra reassurance. I’m also happy to support basic training with young pets, including routines, lead manners, and positive reinforcement. I live alone, so your pet will get my full attention and plenty of one-to-one care throughout their stay. 🐾💛 I live alone, and work part time. I am in and out my apartment regularly throughout the day so will be able to provide that constant care whilst your little one stays! I have heaps of land around me where your dog to go play and explore! My apartment is spacious enough for a animal to enjoying but also feel safe and not afraid
About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life and absolutely love caring for them. Boarding – Crate-trained dogs are preferred, as this fits best with my boys’ routine since they sleep in their crates at night and whenever I need to pop out. I have a secure, enclosed back garden to keep your dogs safe, as well as access to an enclosed field just opposite my house for plenty of playtime. Your pup will have great company here! My two playful, loving boys are always ready to welcome a new friend. Melvin, my Whippet/Lurcher, is a social butterfly who loves making friends and having his “mad moments.” Baxter, my black Labrador, adores meeting new pals and is always up for a good game of tag — though he secretly wishes Melv wasn’t quite so speedy! Doggy day care - Needing somewhere to drop your beloved pooch for the day? Look no further than here! Your pooch will be treated to walks, playtime and feeding (if applicable) whilst in my care for the day. If there is a day you need that is unavailable on my profile, please send me a message as I may be able to help out! Both of my dogs roam about the house all day and get taken out on regular walks around the area. I can get to great walking routes by car from the house but also have some lovely walks around us as well. I work full time in the week however, have some availability at the weekends. If you need to drop your dog off on a Friday, an afternoon drop off would be preferred. Dogs will have free roam in my house and are allowed on all furniture. My home is next door to a massive enclosed field as well which is great for lots of off lead play time. Please check my calendar for availability and also pop me message if there isn’t availability showing and I’ll see what I can do to help with care for your fur baby!

I’m here to provide reliable, trustworthy care and to create meaningful bonds with every pet I meet. I can’t wait to meet your furry family members – feel free to get in touch with any questions or to arrange a meet and greet! ❤️🐾 I live in a two bedroom home in Thirsk with a fenced garden. I am available Mondays and Saturdays for dog sitting. And from 5pm Mon - Friday for Dog walking. Potentially available at other times and weekends on request 😊 To ensure I create a safe environment in a clients home I would ensure I stick to a schedule given by the owner which already meets the needs of there 4 legged friend! Making sure both owner and pet is comfortable of being in my home and creating a happy environment for all! All of this will be discussed prior❤️ I do meet and greets with all new clients before any house visits/boarding to ensure both owner and furry companion feel comfortable with myself. This also gives me the opportunity to talk to you more in depth about your pets requirements, quirks and personality😁

I also have my own dog who would happily tag along to keep yours company if you'd like!

“This was my second time leaving pebble with Emma and I couldn’t be happier. Pebble loves playing with Max and Pepsi and is so comfortable in their home. Will definitely continue trusting Emma for future stays.”

She has a wonderful dog proof home and a supportive partner - it was a perfect environment and company for our puppy. We received frequent updates and photos. Their communication was great and flexible.”

“Amazing family! They looked after our dog so well and loved him as if he were their own. A home from home that we were so grateful for while we were away. Thank you so much Karina and all your lovely family. X”

“Hi Hayley. Many thanks indeed for caring for them so well. They are both looking great and clearly loved being with you. Thank you so very much - it was great to not be worrying about them when we were away xx”

“Lulu had such an amazing time with Becky. She helped me out last minute when I was working in the area, which was really appreciated. I got gorgeous photos of Lulu out on walks and lounging around the house and garden—she was clearly having the best time. She was quite reluctant to leave when I picked her up, which says it all. Becky is so lovely and clearly brilliant with dogs. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.”

“Stefanie and her family have cared for Ruby (Labrador) with much consideration to her needs as an older dog. Stefanie sent frequent updates and photos of Ruby and descriptions of their daily activities. Ruby sounds to have had a great stay with her and their own young dog , Gus. It is nice for the old and young dogs to be able to mix under knowledgeable and experienced dog lovers. I feel very confident in recommending Stefanie to others. I shall definitely be using her services again in the knowledge that Ruby was safe and happy with her and her family.”
“Sally couldn't give better care to my reactive border collie. With all the walks, play at home and her ability to help her calm down and relax I feel fully confident leaving Peppa in her care.”

“Sarah did a wonderful job looking after my 5 month old flat coated retriever for 2 weeks. She is very experienced in looking after puppies. It was clear from the many photos and updates that she provided a high standard of care, following the pup’s routine and socialising him with other dogs, cats etc. Special mention to her daughter who was a great play mate😀. I would highly recommend Sarah.”
