“Absolutely the best. Jessica took such good care of my dog, Buddy, that I believe he wanted to stay. I will always use her whenever she is available and still sitting dogs.. I trust her completely.”

“Stefanie and her family have cared for Ruby (Labrador) with much consideration to her needs as an older dog. Stefanie sent frequent updates and photos of Ruby and descriptions of their daily activities. Ruby sounds to have had a great stay with her and their own young dog , Gus. It is nice for the old and young dogs to be able to mix under knowledgeable and experienced dog lovers. I feel very confident in recommending Stefanie to others. I shall definitely be using her services again in the knowledge that Ruby was safe and happy with her and her family.”
“Jane was fantastic. She made us feel really comfortable leaving our dog with her. She sent regular updates/photos and it was easy to see our dog was having a great time. Would highly recommend!!”

About: I’ve always loved animals and have experience looking after my mum’s and sister’s dogs while they’ve been away on holiday. I’ve cared for them in my own home, making sure they stick to their usual routines with feeding, walks, playtime, and lots of affection. Looking after pets has taught me how important it is to provide a safe, calm, and loving environment where they feel comfortable while their owners are away. I understand that every dog has their own personality and routine, and I’m happy to adapt to their individual needs. Although I’m new to Rover, I’m reliable, responsible, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I’ll care for your pet as if they were my own and keep you updated with regular messages and photos so you can relax knowing they’re in safe hands. I currently work part-time, which gives me flexibility to provide pet care throughout the week. My availability may vary slightly depending on my work shifts, but I’m happy to accommodate drop-in visits, house sitting, and overnight care whenever possible. Feel free to get in touch with your dates, and I’ll always do my best to help. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I provide a calm, friendly, and welcoming home where pets can relax and feel part of the family. I don’t have any other pets, so your pet will have my full attention and won’t need to adjust to other animals in the home. Pets are welcome on the furniture if that is part of their normal routine, helping them feel comfortable and at ease. I am happy to follow your pet’s usual habits and routines, including feeding, exercise, and any special requirements. I work part time, which means I am home a lot and can provide plenty of company, attention, and care throughout the day. I also have a roommate who is usually home when I am not, so your pet will rarely be left alone. I am also happy to stay in your home if that is what makes your pet feel most comfortable. I understand that every pet is different and will always aim to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience. I will keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel reassured while your pet is in my care.

“Lulu had such an amazing time with Becky. She helped me out last minute when I was working in the area, which was really appreciated. I got gorgeous photos of Lulu out on walks and lounging around the house and garden—she was clearly having the best time. She was quite reluctant to leave when I picked her up, which says it all. Becky is so lovely and clearly brilliant with dogs. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.”

About: I’ve always loved animals and have grown up with a dog of my own, so spending time with pets has always been a huge part of my life. I have experience caring for pets, including looking after a neighbour’s two dogs and cat for a week while staying in their home. Family members also regularly ask me to look after their dogs in my own home, which I absolutely love. I always make sure every pet feels happy, safe and comfortable. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding or bedtime, I’ll treat every fluffy friend like family. I’m lucky to have a really flexible schedule at the moment, so I’m available seven days a week and can easily fit around your pet’s routine. Whether it’s a morning walk, an afternoon play session, an overnight stay or just keeping them company, I’ll be there to make sure they get lots of love, attention and care while you’re away. I know leaving your pet with someone new can be a big step, so I’ll do everything I can to make them feel happy, safe and right at home. I have a secure fenced garden where they can play safely, as well as plenty of toys to keep them entertained. I’ll stick to their usual routine, whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding or lots of cuddles, and I’ll treat every fluffy friend like one of my own. I’ll also send regular photos and updates, so you can see just how much fun they’re having while you’re away!
“It was our first time using Sally as a dog sitter. Our dog Roxy seemed to have a really nice time and we got lots of updates while we were away. Sally obviously gave Roxy a lot of time and care during her stay and we’d be happy to use her as a dog sitter again.”

“Sarah and her family did an amazing job of looking after our dog. Sarah is really friendly, took time to get to know our dog and sent loads of updates! Will definitely be asking her to look after our dog again!”

Followed all of our instructions for Bean (which were quite a lot!😅) Bean had a great time with Luke and will deffo be returning! Honestly can’t recommend Luke enough!”

About: I have been a fan of dogs my whole life, have owned dogs in the past, and currently share responsibilities of caring for a male boxer cross with a friend. For the last 10 years I have been a reliable port of call for family, close friends, friends of friends and neighbours when a short-term solution is needed. Since hearing about Rover.com recently, I decided to reinstate this account and start offering these services to a wider audience. I work full-time, but only a 5 minute walk from home and will never leave a dog unattended for longer than 4 hours as a rule. My work hours at the office are 8:30-17:00 Mon-Thurs with an hour long break at midday, and 8:30-12:30 on Fridays. I usually use my weekends for hiking so can tailor walks to suit individual dogs and/or take specific exercise requests from owners. I have a high-fenced, secure garden with adequate space and shade and great retired neighbours either side of my terrace. On pleasant days when I am required to be in-office, I will often leave Fred (my boxer cross) outside with a big bowl of water so he can relax in the sun (or shade) at his leisure. With regards to overnight stays, it is a preference that dogs stay downstairs in either my kitchen or living room, but I can be flexible if certain dogs display any form of separation anxiety. Any dogs staying in my home must have been treated for fleas as standard so as not to jeopardise future pets from picking up hitch-hikers on their staycation.
“We had a great experience with Hannah. She does her own due diligence on vaccinations, routine and needs, which was very reassuring and Hannah was really responsive when we were away and wanted to check in on our pup. Would definitely book again.”

“Rob took great care of Binky and she had a really happy stay. She had good exercise (needed for her energy levels!) and he was really attentive with her diet and preferences etc. giving her a real home from home experience. Rob was also really communicative and sent us photos and messages throughout her stay. We would certainly recommend Rob as a sitter and we hope to use him again in future to look after our much loved little girl.”

About: I’ve lived with dogs my whole life, but my passion for training really took off when i rescued a Spaniel x Beagle. He started out reactive to other dogs, with no recall and a habit of disappearing after anything that moved. Through daily training and hundreds of hours of learning, I transformed him into a confident, social dog with reliable off-lead freedom, excellent recall, and advanced obedience. That journey gave me a genuine passion for helping dogs learn and building their confidence. I now volunteer every week at a dog rescue, working with dogs of all breeds, ages and temperaments. I’m comfortable handling everything from nervous and reactive dogs to strong pullers and high-energy working breeds. Whether your dog simply needs a fun walk, plenty of attention and a home away from home, or would benefit from some extra work on recall, lead manners, general obedience or behavioural issues during their stay, I’d love to help. I genuinely enjoy training and am happy to take on dogs that need a little extra guidance. We also have private, secure land, giving dogs a safe space to exercise and train away from distractions when needed. I work full time from home so always able to keep an eye on dogs. Normally the day starts with a walk round the fields/local paths. Then we settle down, few 5 min spurs of obedience training through the day and then a big afternoon walk. Evening will maybe have a small additional walk or some training. We have a fenced garden, fenced private fields - all possible escape routes have been found and fixed thanks to our escape artist. My dog is always around - he’s a beagle x spaniel full of energy.
“Halle was amazing with Farro!! He can get a little too much and would sometimes need time to adjust and settle, but Farro settled with Halle very quickly! Farro looked so comfortable and happy with her and we were very pleased x”

“Sophie looked after Wilf for a short stay recently . The stay went smoothly , communication was excellent and more importantly Wilf was looked after as if he was their own. Highly recommended and wouldn’t hesitate for Wilf to stay again.”
