“Winnie, our Border Terrier, had a wonderful stay with Marjorie (Marnie) whist we were on holiday in France. She enjoyed lots of interesting walks with Marnie and her family which she clearly enjoyed. I know this because Marnie shared lots of wonderful pictures and videos of their adventures - which we enjoyed hugely and reassured us that Winnie was in very good hands. I can recommend Marnie unreservedly and will certainly use her again in the future.”

About: I have looked after a variety of dogs and my 2 fur babies are a Siberian Husky, who loves to play with other dogs and a Patterdale Terrier, who just loves to be warm and cosy under the covers! I have great areas around me for dog walking and my house and garden are fully secure. I love having cuddles with dogs and I am happy to share my bedroom or bed with dogs if they are used to this and it makes them feel more secure. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I am available at weekends to look after your fur babies starting from Friday evening to Sunday evening. I will also be available more in school holidays as I work as a teacher. I have a fenced secure garden and house. They will be treated as part of the family. I am flexible in terms of what your dog needs.

About: I’ve lived in BD13, Thornton for over 30 years, and have been a dog owner for the last 10 years. I retired from FT work in 2024, so have plenty of spare time. I walk daily, no matter what the weather, and know some great off road routes for dog walking, so can help your dog maintain a level of fitness if for any reason you’re unable to do so, whether due to health issues, or because of work or family commitments, or if you just need a break! I’ll record walks on Strava so you can see what exercise your dog has done, and I’ll send you pics to show your doggie having fun! Car owner, so can drive to / from anywhere local. For home boarding, I live with my wife of 33 years, along with Angus, our 12 year old Jack Russell Terrier. If your dog stays with us, they will be welcomed, and treated as our own. I retired from full time work in 2024, so have plenty of time to spare, and can offer dog care / walking services on most days. Even if it’s just a one off, to support your dog whilst you’re away for a special occasion, I can hopefully help out. My house has a lovely green garden, mostly fenced, so if your pet isn’t ready for walking the full requested period, they can relax either in my house or garden whilst you have time out! I will record all walks on strava, and send you screenshots of routes, so you know your dog has been exercised, aswell as pics if you wish.

I ensure doors and gates are secure, provide fresh water, feeding, litter tray cleaning, and enrichment or companionship during each visit. Trust is very important to me, so I treat every home with respect and care, and I keep pet owners updated with messages, photos, and updates so you always know how your pet is doing.

“Buddy and Bruno stayed with Daisy whilst we were on holiday for a week. Daisy was really accommodating with drop off and pick up times, and communicated with us whilst we were away and even sent pictures which was great. Buddy and Bruno looked relaxed, which is not like Buddy who has separation anxiety. I would highly recommend Daisy and we will definently use her again”

About: I grew up with dogs, a mixed breed and a whippet and as an adult have had 3 sighthounds - 2 beautiful greyhounds and my current dog; gorgeous Arlo the lurcher. I have cared for dogs of all ages and have experience caring for dogs with very significant medical needs. My boy Arlo was diagnosed with a tumour this year and has just completed radiotherapy. He's now doing brilliantly and is back to his joyful best. All my dogs have been rescues from situations of neglect, so I am also experienced in supporting dogs who have experienced trauma. I love dogs with all my heart and make friends with every dog I meet. Dogs often seem especially drawn to me, with many owners commenting that their dogs don't usually make a fuss of strangers! I promise to treat your dog with the same love, respect and care that I give my own dog. Because of my work I have an enhanced DBS checks, so you can be absolutely sure I am a safe and trustworthy person to leave your precious pup with. I work in education part-time, so term time I can do Mondays, Fridays. Saturdays and Sundays. During the school holidays I am largely available every day. My dog Arlo likes plenty of exercise and fun to keep his brain stimulated, so days with us are usually busy; at least 3 hours of walking and playing with toys at home also - Arlo is happy to share. I have a small fenced garden and live close to lots of lovely walks. Arlo and I love to explore the countryside on long walks and would love your doggo to keep us company. On hot summer days we choose woodland walks with plenty of shade and places to have a swim and a drink.

She took him out to pub gardens, on loads of lovely walks and even on a train ride. Phil came home relaxed and happy, we can tell he had loads of love and attention. About: Growing up we always had a household full of animals, mainly doggos. A large variety of breeds, large, small and all in between meaning we are well experienced with all pups. Myself my partner, Declan and our children love to spend our weekends walking our pup, Margot who is ball obsessed and runs like the wind. I currently work part time Monday - Thursday but two days a week I am at home. The other two I’m home for lunch and to check on the dog. Our weekends are often filled with nice long walks, in all weather because my children and pup are mud and puddle lovers. I have a well sized fenced garden and a park to the back of our property. We also have the local canal and woods where we enjoy a good run off and explore.

“From our first meet and greet with Andrew and Nicky we felt confident that our dog Amber was in safe hands. She stayed with them for 6 nights and had the best time visiting family with them, staying over in a hotel, visiting pubs and even the garden centre. Our nervousness at how she would behave as she does have some anxiety issues around other dogs did not faze Andrew and Nicky, they are extremely compassionate and caring.
