Boris, being a bulldog, has specific food requirements and a set routine, which Jessica and her family adapted to perfectly. We felt completely reassured knowing he was in such good hands. Boris does not like the car and we always have trouble on collection but Jessica’s husband helped get Boris in the car with care, he is now snuggled up having had his favourite dinner , doing his favourite hobby of snoozing 💤”

About: Hello, thank you for looking at my profile 🙂 I am a huge dog lover and truly enjoy spending time hanging out with pups, be it our own or yours! Having grown up on a farms with dogs I have several years of experiencing as well as now owning my own 🫶🏼 I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your dog, and always treat every dog as if they were my own. I want your dog to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and happy while you’re away. Having two dogs myself, my home is very dog-friendly and a welcoming space where dogs can relax and be themselves. There’s plenty of room to move around, play, and settle in comfortably, whether your dog is energetic and playful or more laid-back and cuddly. I am happy to stick to your dog’s usual routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and downtime, so they feel right at home. I love to hike and get out into nature, and the dogs always come along for the ride! Being on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors there are have some amazing walks right on our doorstep 🍂 I know first hand that leaving your dog with someone new can be stressful, so I do my best to communicate clearly and make the experience easy and reassuring for both you and your dog. Daily pupdates are always available if you’d like that, as are introductory meet ups before your dogs stay with me so we can get to know each other. I hope to hear from you soon! 🐾 I work from home so am available every weekday and weekends for doggy care 🐕 Morning walks, lunchtime trots and perhaps even the odd run, they will get plenty of exercise and never be short of stimulation! The garden is fully fenced and dog proof, meaning no escapees! I have got a large open plan kitchen diner that can take a crate if needed for your dog, or if you’d rather they weren’t in a crate that’s also absolutely fine, we’ve got plenty of space for an extra snuggly bed!

“We were really struggling to find a sitter for our dog Mochi as she loves humans but is very dog-reactive. Great dog otherwise, easy to look after if you're familiar with dogs but can be tricky at times. About a week before we were due to go on our holiday, we found Constancia. She had plenty of good reviews, the Star Sitter status and we would've been okay to leave our girl with her for two weeks based on that. Constancia responded really quickly to the query, asked to meet up to ensure it was a good fit for everyone and got to see where Mochi would be staying while we were away. Constancia explained what Mochi's day-to-day would be like in her home, where she'd sleep, showed the little garden etc., to ensure it was okay and was very receptive to what Mochi's routines are. During the holiday, I got messages, pictures and videos on Rover pretty much daily, giving updates regarding how it's going and how our girl's doing. At the end of the holiday, we picked our dog up with everything we dropped her off with and it was obvious Mochi had been very well looked after, cared for and loved in our absence. Mochi got particularly attached to Constancia's daughter during the stay and it was obvious it was mutual - she was so-so sweet with Mochi when we left. ❤️ Yes, quite possibly a slightly more expensive rate compared to other sitters on Rover, but got no regrets. Our dog was looked after as if she was their beloved pet and was in a home away from home. Will absolutely use Constancia's services in the future again, very trustworthy lady, family and home. A sincere thank you for taking such good care of Mochi in our absence, couldn't be more grateful. ❤️”

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by all kinds of animals, from cats and dogs to chickens, horses, and even a rescue fawn! Animals have always been a big part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. Over the past few years, I’ve had the opportunity to travel the world, including spending time in New Zealand where I was fortunate enough to house-sit and care for some wonderful dogs. I’ve also built up experience through TrustedHousesitters, looking after pets in their own homes and making sure they feel safe, happy and well cared for while their owners are away. Now that I’m back in the UK and settled in York, I’d love to continue doing what I enjoy and help care for your pets. While I’m not currently able to have a dog of my own, this gives me the perfect opportunity to enjoy plenty of walks, playtime and cuddles with yours! I’ll always treat your pets as if they were my own, taking the time to understand their individual personalities, routines and needs. Whether your dog loves long walks and adventures, a good game of fetch, or simply curling up on the sofa for some company, I’m here to make sure they feel happy, comfortable and loved while you’re away. I know how important it is to leave your pet in someone you can trust, and I’ll do everything I can to give you peace of mind while they’re in my care. I’m primarily available for house-sitting and dog walks at weekends, as I work full-time during the week. I’d also be happy to consider boarding, although as I live in a flat, this would depend on the size, temperament and individual needs of your pet. I live in a flat in the city centre, and although I don’t have a garden, I’m a very outdoorsy person and love getting out for walks. I’m often down by the river exploring the local area, usually with a coffee stop at one of the many lovely cafés along the way — so there’s no shortage of opportunities for walks and adventures! When house-sitting, I’m very happy to follow your usual routines and instructions closely. I know every pet is different, so I’ll take the time to understand their individual needs and make sure they feel comfortable, happy and well cared for while you’re away.

During the boarding, Jennifer kept us updated with pictures of Gregory doing all his favourite things and he looked to be having an absolute splendid time, seemingly as comfortable as he would be in his own home! “I’m so pleased with the care Jiaqi gave Cody during his stay. I had to make a last-minute booking as we were travelling to Scotland to collect and bring some things back to York, and Jiaqi was kind enough to accept the booking at short notice. She kept me updated throughout Cody’s stay with lovely photos and videos, which was really reassuring and made me feel that he was happy and well looked after. When we were on our way to pick Cody up, our van suddenly broke down on the A64, not far from Jiaqi’s house. It was a very stressful situation, but Jiaqi was incredibly patient and understanding while we dealt with the breakdown and the unexpected delay. Cody clearly had a lovely time and was very well cared for. I really appreciated Jiaqi’s kindness, patience and communication, and I would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter.”
