“Emma recently looked after our French bulldog dog Caesar. It's the first time I have ever left him with a dog sitter and must say I was very nervous. Emma instantly put my mind at ease with photo's and videos of Caesar whilst we were away. Caesar was very well looked after and settled very well at Emma's. I was very happy with the service Emma provides.”

About: I have been passionate about animals for as long as I can remember. Back in my home country, raised my own dog from a tiny puppy, and he is now a lovely ten-year-old senior dog. Looking after him over all these years has given me valuable hands-on experience caring for older dogs, understanding their slower pace, special health needs and gentle care requirements. 么 I also rescued and cared for six cats while living in China. Looking after this group of rescue pets taught me immense patience, how to help shy, nervous animals feel safe, and how to manage multiple pets with different personalities and needs at the same time. Those wonderful years built my confidence and deep love for every furry friend. Since moving to York in the UK, I now have one friendly, well-socialised one-year-old dog who lives with me at home. He is calm, gentle and happy to meet other dogs. I am home full-time and rarely out of the house for long periods. This means your dog will get constant companionship, frequent daily walks, regular feeding times, plenty of playtime and rest. 1 am also happy to administer medication if needed. I treat every pet that stays with me like a member of my own family. Throughout their booking, I will send you regular photo and text updates, so you can enjoy peace of mind while you are away. I welcome puppies, adult dogs and senior dogs of all temperaments. I am currently not working and stay at home full-time, so I can dedicate plenty of time to look after, play with and walk your dog every single day. I am fully available for pet-boarding services all week with no strict time restrictions. I have rich long-term pet-care experience. I previously cared for six cats and a 10-year-old dog back in my home country. Now I own a one-year-old friendly, well-socialised dog here in the UK. I will closely supervise all interactions between the pets and offer your furry friend a safe, quiet and comfortable home environment.
“Coco really enjoyed the stay with Melanie 😊 The communication with Melanie and her boyfriend was excellent, lots of pictures and everyday walks. Definitely Coco will stay with them again! ❤️”

“Maddie was super patient with our 3 month old puppy, Haribo. This was a booking made on extremely short notice due to a last minute cancellation by another sitter, and so we were extremely lucky that Maddie agreed to take him in for 2 nights. Moreover, she took the time to meet him before the booking and immediately put my and my husband's minds at ease. Haribo was definitely well-taken care of. She was very keen on sticking to his routines, was very caring and affectionate towards him. She took him to the dog park, watched Bluey with him, snuggled with him on the sofa, and took him out regularly. He had accidents but Maddie was so understanding about everything. Haribo def had the time of his life and is a happy pup 😍 we have requested another booking with her because she's amazing!”

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals since been born and looked after different species of dogs and cats since they were young. I’ve helped train and teach them on what to do. I’ve helped more in the past few years with been older and sitting my families animals when they are away I am currently at uni where I’m there 2 days a week but varies all the time, and I also work part time at a pharmacy which I am changing my hours soon to fit around university. I have a fenced off garden space which is fine to allow dogs in for the toilet. There is a big downstairs space which is enough to allow the animals in and run about and sleep.
“Rasa looked after our 3 cocker spaniels for 2 weeks in October 2025 - we striggled to find anyone who would take all 3 dogs but we immediately felt at ease with Rasa and our girls looked very happy. She followed our feeding instructions clearly and gave them a warm and relaxing home with lots of cuddles and lots of walks. She kept us updated with photos whilst we were away and our girls seemed very happy when we collected them - Nellie didn't really look as though she wanted to come home! Would highly recommend.”

About: I’ve taken care of numerous dogs, aging from pups to seniors. I have maintained training programmes, as well as managing nervous and aggressive dogs. My experience in care work means I am exceptionally attentive and empathetic. I have a flexible schedule as a student. I am looking for part time work, and I am happy to work around pet owners requirements. My approach differs between cats and dogs. Cats: I keep a calm, quiet environment with no loud noises or surprises. I like to give the cat the space it deserves, and allow it to approach me when ready for cuddles or playing. Dogs: My fenced garden means easy access to outside. Lots of playing, goofing around and mental stimulation.

“This was our first time using Liv and Rover and it was great. Liv was so lovely and keen to find out about Loki before his stay. She took wonderful care of him and kept us up to date with photos while we were away. Loki had a great time and enjoyed the attention and cuddles. Thanks Liv! Would definitely recommend 😊”

“Bethany was able to sit Gravy for us when we went away for the weekend. Gravy thoroughly enjoyed herself at Bethany's house and we enjoyed the regular photographic updates we got. Would highly recommend and use Bethany again!”

“Rocko and Fred had the best time with Octavia, they seemed very at home when we went to pick them up and we would happily leave them with her again. Had so much more piece of mind that they were having a nice time and being well looked after rather than being at a kennel. Very friendly and accommodating with arranging a meet up before the booking, and our late pickup time after a flight. Kept us up to date with plenty of photos of them making friends with her own dog ?”

“Milo had a longer stay with Jack a d Georgina - the first time we have left him for a couple of weeks. As always he was well cared for and we were kept updated with lovely photos whilst we were away.”

“I recently entrusted my furry companion, Mara to the care of a wonderful dog sitter. From the moment I met her, I knew Mara would be in good hands. Vicky genuine love for dogs was evident. She welcomed Mara with open arms, treating her like family. Throughout Mara’s stay, the sitter kept me informed. I received delightful pictures of Mara exploring her new surroundings and even enjoying cozy nap times. It warmed my heart to see Mara so content. Vicky’s home became Mara’s second home. The environment was safe. The sitter always ensured Mara’s well-being. Whether it was mealtime, walks or playtime, she was there, ensuring Mara’s needs were met. I felt confident that Mara was in capable hands. If you’re looking for a dog sitter who genuinely cares, look no further. I wholeheartedly recommend her services. Your beloved dog will receive the same love and attention Mara did. Thank you, dear Vicky, for taking care of Mara as if she were your own. You’ve made a lasting impression, and we’ll be back!”

“Couldn’t have asked for a better couple to look after our puppy. He was looked after and loved. Jesse was lovely towards him and got along really well. Sent plenty of pictures and videos to keep us in the loop which we really appreciated. 100% recommend.”
