“Helena was absolutely amazing with our very nervous dog, so kind and patient with him. Helena listened carefully to what he likes and needs and made his stay very stress free Great communication with lots of pictures sent too which really helped me with the first time leaving him. Thanks again Helena”

About: I've been caring for dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. Growing up with pets has given me a genuine understanding of their different personalities, routines, and individual needs. I've owned a Labrador Retriever and currently have a Working Cocker Spaniel, so I have hands-on experience with both relaxed family dogs and more energetic breeds that require plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. I've also had cats throughout my life, giving me a good understanding of feline behaviour and the importance of providing a calm, safe, and stress-free environment. In addition to caring for my own pets, I've looked after dogs and cats for neighbours, friends, and family, including home visits, feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, and check-ins while owners have been away. I understand that every pet is unique, which is why I take the time to follow each owner's instructions carefully. Whether it's sticking to a specific feeding schedule, administering medication orally(if required), maintaining exercise routines, or simply providing plenty of love, attention and reassurance; I tailor my care to ensure your pet feels comfortable, happy, and well looked after. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind, knowing your pet is being cared for as if they were my own. I am also fully insured for your peace of mind and carry first aid kit either on me or in the car. I have a flexible schedule, which means I'm available for boarding, drop-in visits, and walks throughout the week, including weekends. This allows me to provide plenty of time, attention, and companionship to the pets in my care, while working around their usual routines. Your pet's wellbeing is always my top priority. This includes feeding schedules, exercise, playtime, medication (where needed), and any special requirements to help them feel comfortable and settled. During warmer weather, I also take extra precautions to keep dogs safe. If temperatures exceed 22°C, I won't take dogs out for walks, as heat can be dangerous. Instead, I'll provide indoor enrichment, play, and plenty of attention, along with access to fresh water and regular comfort breaks in a safe, shaded area where appropriate. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are my highest priorities. I provide a calm, loving, and secure home where pets can relax and feel part of the family while you're away. I live in a house with a large, fully fenced garden, giving dogs a safe outdoor space to play, explore, and enjoy regular toilet breaks. Inside, they'll have plenty of companionship, attention, and a comfortable environment to settle into. I also have a 5-month-old female Working Cocker Spaniel who is friendly, playful, and enjoys the company of other dogs. She has a gentle nature and is also comfortable around cats. I always introduce pets carefully and supervise interactions to ensure everyone feels safe and at ease. I understand that every pet is different, so I'll always follow your instructions regarding routines, boundaries, feeding, exercise, and any special requirements. My aim is to provide the same level of care, patience, and affection that I'd want for my own pet, so you can enjoy complete peace of mind while you're away.
“Just had our first overnight with Emily. We were a bit nervous being the first time. Emily,Alex and Carter the dog were amazing. They took the time to find out about Dennis what he likes and doesn’t like and how they could make his stay fun. We had lots of photos during his stay and could see what a lovely time he had. Would highly recommend them and thank you again. Jack and Michele”

“We were concerned when our last dogsitter was unable to have Alfie this year as he is a rescue dog and we worry about leaving him with new people, lest he feels re-abandoned… we need not have worried as apparently he neglected to give us a second thought when we left. Alfie has had some digestive issue and Elaine and Gordon were anxious about having him but agreed in the end and we are so appreciative of this. It was clear that they had followed all requests to the letter, and as a result, he had no flare ups during his stay. Elaine even messaged me to see if she could give him Dentastix. Elaine sent pictures every day as she knew how neurotic we were about leaving him (I also railroaded her into two meet and greets before we left). The pictures told a tale of a varied couple of weeks; going to the park, the pet shop and meeting the family. We are so pleased to have found new people to look after Alfie and will not hesitate to ask again. I was wary of using Rover after my first experience (he was closed in the kitchen overnight at a very large farmhouse and this left him stressed) but really happy to have found Elaine and Gordon! Thank you. ?”

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life and caring for them comes naturally. Until recently, I cared for my own rescue Labrador, Brodie, who brought so much joy to our home. Caring for him, including during his final months, taught me the importance of patience, routine, compassion and understanding every dog’s individual needs. I have a safe, loving home with a fully enclosed, secure garden where dogs can play and relax. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles on the sofa or simply a quiet place to unwind, I’ll treat them as if they were my own. I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone you can trust, and I’ll make sure they’re happy, safe and well cared for while you’re away. I work from home, which means I’m able to provide flexible, attentive care throughout the day. Your dog won’t be left alone for long periods and will have plenty of company, regular toilet breaks, playtime and affection. I can easily follow your dog’s usual routine, whether that’s scheduled walks, medication, feeding times or simply enjoying a calm, loving home environment. My aim is to make your dog feel as relaxed and comfortable as they do in their own home. Your dog’s safety and happiness will always come first. I have a secure, fully enclosed garden where dogs can play safely, along with a clean, pet-friendly home where they’re treated as part of the family. Having recently lost my beloved rescue Labrador, Brodie, our home has plenty of love to give. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pet with someone else, so I’ll care for them as if they were my own, following their normal routine and providing regular photo and video updates to give you complete peace of mind.I have a fenced garden.

“Pepper has had such a wonderful weekend with Abbey and her lovely little dogs! I’ve really enjoyed the updates and Pepper is happy and healthy. She’s been amazing thank you so much for taking such good care of her. I will be booking with you again next time we need her looking after 🙂🙂”

About: I grew up with a cocker spaniel and in my twenties owned two beagles so have no problem with hyper active dogs. Over the last few years I have looked after a bijon frise, a daschund, two labradoodles, a golden retriever, a cockapoo and a cavapoo. Some of these have been at their own home and some at my own home. I'm happy for either circumstance as it is wherever the pet or owner would like the pet to be. I work full time so Mondays and Fridays will be me working from home or the clients home but free all weekend. I can do other days upon negotiation. Sundays I will be busy for 2-3 hours in the morning but can still do the morning feed and walks. I do not have a garden but do have a large field 100 yards from the house. I will always keep the pet on the lead. I try to keep the routine laid out by the owner where possible i.e. nap times, feeding, walking, how they sleep at night etc

“We can’t recommend Hannah & George enough. They were absolutely superb with our two cockapoos Sadie & Sonnie. Their stay was a home away from home. We received regular updates and photos which was great. Hannah was so accommodating to allow us do a late pickup, which we really appreciated. Sadie & Sonnie can’t wait for their next stay 🐾”

“Absolutely brilliant sitting from Megan - I felt very confident leaving our dog with her and she provided regular updates and photos whilst we were away. I’d definitely recommend her. Thank you Megan!”

About: I have experience caring for dogs, including daily dog walking, playing, exercising and giving them gentle attention. I have been around many different breeds of dogs and am comfortable with different sizes and temperaments. I always make sure they get enough outdoor activity and mental stimulation to stay happy and healthy. I have a very flexible schedule, as I only work part-time occasionally and my partner works from home full-time. That means your pet will never be left alone and will always have someone around for company, care, and playtime. To ensure every pet gets my full attention, I only take on one booking at a time, so your furry friend will get all the love and care they deserve. I keep my home spotlessly clean and currently have no pets of my own, making it the perfect choice for your pet to receive one-on-one, undivided care in a calm, low-stress environment. I follow strict cleaning routines to keep spaces fresh and safe, so your furry friend can enjoy a peaceful stay without distractions.
“Ruta was fantastic! We booked her at a few hours notice for an overnight stay when we were out of area and she was super prepared- Izzy had a lovely time and we’d highly recommend her to anyone else!”

“It was such a great peace of mind to leave Monty with Leah, she gave regular updates and I knew he was happy and well looked after my whole trip. I will be hoping Leah is available if we need to go away without him again. Thank you!”

“100% recommend Paul, our lab Ember was exceptionally well looked after and had a great time. I received lots of updates so I always knew how Ember was doing. Paul's dogs Thea and Bently are lovely and the three of them played really well together, I think Ember may be missing their company now. Paul is prompt with responding, and gives them a home away home, we will absolutely be booking again for future trips.”
