Pet care will fit into my daily routine as part of my family. I have spare time to easily fit around your pet, offering plenty of love, care and attention around your pets needs. Your pet will be cared for within my own home following your pets patterns of behaviour. I follow your pets nutrition needs and ensure your pet is regularly taken for long walks local and in the countryside, no matter what the weather. Regular cleansing/bathing. Plenty of love, cuddles and treats for good behaviour.

About: I have had many pets over the years. From a donkey, goats, chickens and of course dogs! I stumbled across offering care for other people's dogs by accident really, but it works really well. I care for our extended family and friends dogs in my home while they go away on holiday. I lost my gorgeous dog four years ago and miss him terribly. I decided this would be a great way to enjoy having the company of a dog again. My dog was a whippet so I know what a good walk looks like! I am are registered on trusted house sitters and have five star reviews from all my sits. I have no dogs myself so your dog would be the only dog to be cared for whilst with me. You can go away knowing your dog would be having a lovely holiday with me while you are having your own holiday. They fit in as my pet for the duration of their stay. If I stayed in your home you could rest assured I know how to look after a home. I have been married for over 40 years. I have an acre garden so grass cutting does not faze me either.

About: I have been a petsiitter, walker, companion for many years. I love all fur babies, recently looked after chickens too. I have a car, can work in York and surrounding areas. Will consider further afield but a minimum of one continous week. Always recommend a meetup before a booking for a cuppa and maybe a biscuit 😉 Recently retired. As i am an animal lover and experienced pet sitter for cats, dogs, chickens i can't think of a better way to spend my time. I cannot look after pets in my own home sadly. I can only offer pet sitting, Vet visits, Pop-ins for all fur babies, chickens, feeding, comforting, walking. Sadly I cannot look after reactive dogs because of past experience.

Our experience We are non smoking, polite couple who take care of the things around us. We love to clean and have things looking tidy and smelling nice. We have been trusted to use previous house sitters cars so I feel we are very responsible and trustworthy. If there is anything specific the animal or owner requires we are happy to accommodate this. We try to keep the animals weekly routine similar to what the owner would do. We are flexible in our day so would spend most of it with the animals. Pet care is full time for us so we have no other commitments. When in the owners home we try to replicate the same routine for the dogs as the owner would. Dogs are not left for more than 4 hours.
