About: I’ve been around animals since I was 8, growing up with a Jack Russell cross and a Staffy, and I’ve always loved caring for animals. I often look after my friends golden retrievers so also used to being around larger dogs. I now have my own 2-year-old British Shorthair, Mimi, who is neutered and very much part of the family. My partner has also grown up around a variety of animals, so we both have plenty of experience and genuinely enjoy being around pets. I’m comfortable caring for senior dogs who may need a little extra attention and understand that every dog has different needs and routines. I enjoy walking and spending time outdoors, so having a friendly dog along for the walk is a bonus! We’re looking forward to helping other pet owners out and giving their pets plenty of care, attention and cuddles while they’re away. I currently work full-time in marketing, which gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the week. My partner also works from home four days a week, so between us, we can easily fit pet care around our working day, whether that’s walks, feeding, playtime or simply giving your pet some company and attention. We’re also free on weekends, giving us plenty of time to give your pet some extra love and attention, with the added bonus of being able to take them on some lovely walks around the Yorkshire Dales 🐾 We want your pet to feel happy, comfortable and cared for while you’re away, and we’ll treat them as one of our own! ❤️ We have an enclosed garden with plenty of grass, sun and shade for your pet to relax in and go to the toilet! I can accommodate a crate trained dog (we can even supply the crate) or one that likes company to sleep next to 🫶🏼

About: I’ve grown up and taken care of dogs near enough all my life, whether that’s for friends, family or colleagues and dogs ranging from working cockers and springers to Irish terriers to German Shepherds, puppies too. I’m an active person with fields and walks a stones throw, also a fenced back garden and no other pets. Any needs for your dog I’m happy to discuss and accommodate as best as I can. I’m currently full time, however some days working from home and when I’m not I only work 10 minutes from home so can regularly pop in if I’m not already at home. Dogs have free roam to the ground floor of my house and fenced garden. Preferably dogs crate trained, however happy to accommodate if not. But dogs are not allowed upstairs so they will need to be happy sleeping by themselves downstairs if boarding.

“This was the first time we used Jessica, and we were not disappointed. From the messages before the visit to the care and photo updates while we were away, everything was excellent. Boris, being a bulldog, has specific food requirements and a set routine, which Jessica and her family adapted to perfectly. We felt completely reassured knowing he was in such good hands. We will definitely be using Jessica again in the future. Boris does not like the car and we always have trouble on collection but Jessica’s husband helped get Boris in the car with care, he is now snuggled up having had his favourite dinner , doing his favourite hobby of snoozing 💤”

Holly kindly sent lots of updates and photos of Pepper having the time of his life during his stay. He had the best time - running around with his ball, playing with Gary the Gull, meeting and playing with his new buddy Ronnie, swimming at Easby Abbey. I knew Pepper was in extremely capable hands from the moment I dropped him off. He was immediately at ease and that had a huge impact on me. About: I have grown up with a household full all animals ranging from insects, rodents, cats and dogs. I have looked after and walked dogs since I was 15, and have owned dogs for the last 13 years. I have always had a passion for animals and hold an honors degree in animal behaviour. I have always rescued dogs (greyhounds) and take on the older ones with behavioural or health challenges. I have a lot of experience with older dogs and dogs that come with additional care requirements. I have completed dog first aid, cared for dogs with severe injuries and health issues ranging from dog attacks to advanced cancers, organ failure and spinal issues. I am very experienced in administering medications for unwell animals and a dab hand with vet-wrap for those clumsier pups (side effect of owning sighthounds). I work full time, however I will be taking your dogs into work with me where it is a dog friendly environment. They will receive 24hr care. There are fields and woodlands nearby for walks. I will tailor my care for you pets. I have a good size house with a fully fenced garden. The fence is 6ft so they will be secure. Your pets will be able to roam free, however I do have a crate for any animals that prefer to sleep in them or younger ones that might need time outs to continue crate training.

About: Me & my partner have taken care of many cats over the years and helped out with friends and now have the pleasure of owning our own gorgeous 2 year-old Mimi! She’s used to be around other cats at the Cattery and would love a friend to play with 🫶🏼 She is an indoor cat so she would be indoors however we have an enclosed garden for them to play around in and get fresh air if yours is too! We don’t have a cat flat but happy to accommodate to your cats needs.

While some cats are very independ we still provide love and attention to them. We are qualified in administering medications and will happily follow any schedule the cats require for their health needs. I like an active house, and am always happy to go out for extra walks, and will get out in any weather for some fresh air and a run around. I can look after your loved furry friend Monday to Friday in the afternoons and evenings in term time with more flexibility in the school holidays. The family pets have the run of the house, and also have an outdoor run to go into when the weather is good. Our dog has a blast out in the woods in the morning before breakfast to work up an appetite and then a walk or run later in the day. We also have a large garden and attached woodland for exploring and to keep active brains busy

About: My first job as a teenager was walking and sitting neighborhood dogs and I’ve lived with cats, dogs and other animals my whole life. I now volunteer at a rescue and vet practice and study pet first aid too I usually work weekdays from 10am-5:30pm so all visits will be after 5:30. For overnights I will arrive around 6-7pm and leave in the morning around 9:30am. I am able to do multiple drop ins after work and depending on location I can do early morning visits too. Walks are always on afternoons unless it’s a weekend. I am a very laid back person who has a calm and approachable nature with animals. I am trained in safe handling of animals, pet first aid and have years of experience dealing with all types of pets. You can count on me to always be attentive, calm and in control.

About: Since childhood, I have always had a family dog, so being around and caring for dogs has been a big part of my life. I’ve been volunteering most weekends at Holly Hedge Dog Sanctuary, whenever my work schedule allows. During my time there, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of dogs, each with different personalities and needs. About: I am a 22 year old masters of biology graduate - I have lived on a farm my whole life so I’m experienced with all sorts of animals and happy to follow your requirements and pets needs! I have just graduated from university and have spent 4 years studying a masters in biology, specifically ecology. I am available to look after pets in day/afternoons on weekdays. Dog walking is no problem as well as I live in a beautiful area and have my own car to commute. Pets would be well looked after and walked regularly. About: I have had many pets over the years. From a donkey, goats, chickens and of course dogs! I stumbled across offering care for other people's dogs by accident really, but it works really well. I care for our extended family and friends dogs in my home while they go away on holiday. I lost my gorgeous dog four years ago and miss him terribly. I decided this would be a great way to enjoy having the company of a dog again. My dog was a whippet so I know what a good walk looks like! I am are registered on trusted house sitters and have five star reviews from all my sits. I have no dogs myself so your dog would be the only dog to be cared for whilst with me. You can go away knowing your dog would be having a lovely holiday with me while you are having your own holiday. They fit in as my pet for the duration of their stay. About: I’ve been around animals since I was 8, growing up with a Jack Russell cross and a Staffy, and I’ve always loved caring for animals. I often look after my friends golden retrievers so also used to being around larger dogs. I now have my own 2-year-old British Shorthair, Mimi, who is neutered and very much part of the family. My partner has also grown up around a variety of animals, so we both have plenty of experience and genuinely enjoy being around pets. I’m comfortable caring for senior dogs who may need a little extra attention and understand that every dog has different needs and routines. I enjoy walking and spending time outdoors, so having a friendly dog along for the walk is a bonus! We’re looking forward to helping other pet owners out and giving their pets plenty of care, attention and cuddles while they’re away. I currently work full-time in marketing, which gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the week. My partner also works from home four days a week, so between us, we can easily fit pet care around our working day, whether that’s walks, feeding, playtime or simply giving your pet some company and attention. We’re also free on weekends, giving us plenty of time to give your pet some extra love and attention, with the added bonus of being able to take them on some lovely walks around the Yorkshire Dales 🐾 We want your pet to feel happy, comfortable and cared for while you’re away, and we’ll treat them as one of our own! ❤️ We have an enclosed garden with plenty of grass, sun and shade for your pet to relax in and go to the toilet! “This was our first time using Rover and Odie’s first time away from family members we thought kennels wouldn’t be the right solution for Odie as he needs a quiet space being an older dog and after hours of scrolling for the right person we came across Michael. Reading his profile gave us reassurance and confidence that he would be the right person to look after our boy with his home offering a home from home environment, quiet space, meeting routines, patience and understanding of his personality he ticked all the boxes! Michael was quick to respond with any queries before we went ahead with booking. We received lovely pictures and videos of Odie out on walks and snuggled up at his home and he looked very happy and content throughout the whole Holiday.We had no worries or concerns at any point. About: I’ve grown up and taken care of dogs near enough all my life, whether that’s for friends, family or colleagues and dogs ranging from working cockers and springers to Irish terriers to German Shepherds, puppies too. I’m an active person with fields and walks a stones throw, also a fenced back garden and no other pets. Any needs for your dog I’m happy to discuss and accommodate as best as I can. I’m currently full time, however some days working from home and when I’m not I only work 10 minutes from home so can regularly pop in if I’m not already at home. Dogs have free roam to the ground floor of my house and fenced garden. Preferably dogs crate trained, however happy to accommodate if not. But dogs are not allowed upstairs so they will need to be happy sleeping by themselves downstairs if boarding.

“This was the first time we used Jessica, and we were not disappointed. From the messages before the visit to the care and photo updates while we were away, everything was excellent. Boris, being a bulldog, has specific food requirements and a set routine, which Jessica and her family adapted to perfectly. We felt completely reassured knowing he was in such good hands. We will definitely be using Jessica again in the future. Boris does not like the car and we always have trouble on collection but Jessica’s husband helped get Boris in the car with care, he is now snuggled up having had his favourite dinner , doing his favourite hobby of snoozing 💤”
“Holly took great care of Pepper at very short notice due to a family member being ill. She was extremely accommodating and caring and thoughtful. Holly kindly sent lots of updates and photos of Pepper having the time of his life during his stay. He had the best time - running around with his ball, playing with Gary the Gull, meeting and playing with his new buddy Ronnie, swimming at Easby Abbey. I knew Pepper was in extremely capable hands from the moment I dropped him off. He was immediately at ease and that had a huge impact on me. I’ve already arranged for Pepper to go back to see Holly in a couple of weeks and Holly would be my go-to person for all future stays for Pepper. Thank you so so much Holly.”
About: I have grown up with a household full all animals ranging from insects, rodents, cats and dogs. I have looked after and walked dogs since I was 15, and have owned dogs for the last 13 years. I have always had a passion for animals and hold an honors degree in animal behaviour. I have always rescued dogs (greyhounds) and take on the older ones with behavioural or health challenges. I have a lot of experience with older dogs and dogs that come with additional care requirements. I have completed dog first aid, cared for dogs with severe injuries and health issues ranging from dog attacks to advanced cancers, organ failure and spinal issues. I am very experienced in administering medications for unwell animals and a dab hand with vet-wrap for those clumsier pups (side effect of owning sighthounds). I work full time, however I will be taking your dogs into work with me where it is a dog friendly environment. They will receive 24hr care. There are fields and woodlands nearby for walks. I will tailor my care for you pets. I have a good size house with a fully fenced garden. The fence is 6ft so they will be secure. Your pets will be able to roam free, however I do have a crate for any animals that prefer to sleep in them or younger ones that might need time outs to continue crate training.
