Aleksandra replied very quickly to all my messages and answered all my questions putting my mind in peace as it was the first time I have had to leave my dog for a full day. Alexander also messaged me about how my dog was doing throughout the day, which I felt was very reassuring. She also managed to train him and give me few tips to help me solve some problems I have as a owner of young dog. Overall Aleksandr was great, 6 out of 5?. 100 % recommending Alexander to everyone. I will definitely us her service again. Thank you”

“We returned once again to find very happy cats after Vee's visits. About: I’m a mum to two little boys and work part time as a nurse in Skipton. I have a DBS check through work. I have two current cats but have been around cats all my life. I have two Ragdolls and previously had two British Shorthairs so I am used to caring for a multi-cat household. I’ve had cats all my life and know the importance of making sure they are cared for whilst you are away. I also know the importance of photos and video updates whilst you're away to ensure peace of mind. I'd also be happy to do other jobs such as putting out bins, watering plants etc. I'd be happy to cover Guiseley, Menston, Burley in Wharfedale, Baildon and Ilkley :)

“We felt in very safe hands with Alice. Our two cats clearly felt comfortable with her and received plenty of attention from Alice whilst we were away. The regular updates and photos added to our peace of mind as we could see how relaxed and playful they were in her company. Will definitely use Alice again and can highly recommend her services!”

“Natalie’s looked after my cat a few times now, and she’s been fantastic! Even though my cat’s nervous around new people, she’s great and he’s very comfortable around her. Always such a reassurance when I’m away from home - thank you! <3”

About: I have been on rover since November 2023 and as massive dog lovers, we are having the time of our lives looking after other people's pets. Look at our reviews to see how happy and content all your pets are with us. I have recently started house sitting in your home too. I have had dogs all our life and been surrounded by dogs in the family since childhood. I have a Labrador called Bella who is 7, she is great with other dogs and very well behaved. She is a real pampered pooch, regularly exercised and has lots of cuddles. Unfortunately we lost Ted our 8 year old Labrador to cancer in September 24, you will most likely read a lot about him in our reviews. We now have Nelly who is a 1 year old lab. Both are great with dogs, however they don’t always have to come to your house when I am dog sitting, sometimes they can stay at home. Monday to Friday Maria works from home so your pooch will have lots of company and cuddles. I work local to home for lunchtime walks. On evening and weekends I run or walk with Bella, so your dog will get plenty of exercise. We have a large enclosed garden for safety , Bella sleeps downstairs in the kitchen or living room, your dog can sleep up or downstairs.

“Rosie is brilliant, always sends loads of pictures, the cats are very relaxed with her. She even walks one of them on a harness as he’s a wild little terrorist who demands adventure. Would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter. She is very responsible and trustworthy. Thanks, Rosie!”

About: What sets us apart from other sitters is the warm, home-from-home environment we provide. We’re a dog-loving household, and with my retired mum at home during the day, there’s always someone around to give your dog plenty of love and attention. Our two friendly, well-socialised dogs also help new dogs feel settled and part of the family from the start. We have experience with dogs of all ages — from playful puppies to gentle seniors — and we always adapt our care to suit each dog’s needs. Whether it’s supporting with basic training, administering medication, or providing a calm space for older dogs to relax, we’re committed to making sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I work full-time from home in a corporate role, so I’m around all day to provide consistent care and attention. On weekdays, I take my 4-year-old female Labradoodle out for a longer walk around 8am, and again in the evening around 5pm. Although I don’t have a garden, I’m only a 2-minute walk from Yeadon Tarn, so I can easily take dogs out frequently throughout the day for toilet breaks, short walks, or exercise. At weekends, we start the day with a longer walk in the morning, and dogs will usually join me in whatever I’m doing during the day, while still having plenty of rest time at home if preferred. I always prioritise each pet’s safety, comfort, and routine. In my home, pets are supervised and cared for in a calm, clean environment, with plenty of attention and regular walks throughout the day. I follow any instructions provided by the owner closely, including feeding routines, medication, and preferred walking habits.
“Dawn made everything very simple and stress-free. We visited her home a few days before. Dawn made us feel completely at ease and was happy to answer any questions. As soon as we left Bruno, we could hear him crying, but just a few minutes later Dawn was already sending us messages showing him calm and relaxed, which immediately put our minds at ease. Throughout the day, she kept us updated with photos and comments about how Bruno was doing. When we picked him up, he was calm and happy — a clear sign that he enjoyed his day with Dawn.”

“Chris was fantastic! She was really responsive from the start and kept us updated with photos throughout the day, which was so reassuring. Otis had a great time and came home happy and tired. We'd definitely recommend Chris and wouldn't hesitate to book again!”

“Great experience. My puppy hasnt spent much time with strangers, but Thomas and his partner made everything really easy with quick communication and lots of patience with Ralph. We will use them again”

“After reading raving reviews about Kez & Alice I must agree! Fantastic service, so friendly & I have no doubts that Dexter would move in with Kez & Alice if he could. Really attentive & happy for Dex to go round prior to his stay for a quick meet and greet which I think really helped Dex settle. I wouldn’t think twice about booking back in with Kez & Alice.”

“Our dog absolutely loves Ashleigh and gets so excited to see her! And her dog Arlo! She took Tiny out on a big adventure and sent lots of photos and updates, which we loved. I would definitely recommend her. You can tell that Ashleigh really loves looking after your dog, which is exactly what you want in a pet sitter!”

“Piper looked very happy with James today. He sent me a photo and video, which was lovely to see. When I went to pick her up, she was clearly settled there and relaxed. Thank you for having her!”

About: Hi, I’m Isobel! I’m a graphic designer who works from home some days and I absolutely love animals. I live with my fiancé Tom (he’s in my photos) I have experience with both cat and dog sitting, walking, feeding, bathing, playing, and lots of cuddles! I’ve helped care for our family dogs and my fiancé’s (my fiancé is called Tom) pets — two big dogs and a cat — so I’m confident with pets of all sizes. As is Tom as well, he will be looking after your pet with me some days, due to the nature of his job he might not be in some days. Due to the nature of our work, one of us is nearly always home, your pet will get plenty of love, attention, and toilet breaks throughout the day. I’ll always treat your dog or cat like part of the family. If you think we’d be a good fit, feel free to pop by for a cuppa! I work from home on Mondays and Fridays, and I’m also available on Thursday evenings if needed. Tom is usually home on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, as he often flies on weekends. Between us, someone is typically around most of the week. We’ll do our best to work with your schedule — even in a last-minute emergency. We also have a car and can collect your pet if needed. We usually stay in on weekends and would be happy to look after your pet for the whole weekend if required. Both me and Tom will be at home most days, due to Toms job there might be days where he is working and will not be in the house. But I will be at home to give your pet care and attention. We have a lovely back garden — while it’s not fenced in, we’re happy to sit outside with your pet and keep a close eye on them, or keep them on a lead for safety. We also live near several parks and can drive them to the woods if they’d enjoy a longer walk. If your pet needs a pram, we’re more than happy to push them along for some fresh air! We can also feed and bathe your pet, and if they have any medical needs, we’ll do our best to ensure they take their medication (we’re fans of the classic cheese ball method!). We're happy to work around your schedule and will send regular updates and photos of your pet being thoroughly spoilt.

About: I have had dogs throughout my entire life, and more recently I became a registered veterinary nurse, where I work mostly with dogs. I often look after my dad’s dog Stanley, who is seen on my profile picture. We recently went on a solo holiday together, where we enjoyed going on lots of hikes. Being an RVN, I am trained in CPR and giving medications. I currently work a night shift rotation of 1 week on and 2 weeks off. I plan to only pet sit during my 2 weeks off so that I am available at all times during the day. I will diligently follow instructions from the owner, while also using my professional judgement on the wellbeing of the cat. If I have any concerns I will immediately contact the owner, and stay with the cat until I am sure that everything is okay. During my visits I will spend time with the cat, and try to gain their trust. However, I also understand that cats like their space and boundaries respected. I am available to go on either short walks with your dog or longer walks with a maximum of 2 hours. I will diligently follow your instructions on what your dog likes during their walk!

I’ve looked after friends dogs as well as pet rats and cats. I really do love animals. Our dogs have always been a huge part of our lives and have joined us on adventures whenever we could take them along for the ride. I am currently studying at university and over the summer months I will be at home with nothing to do, so Rover fits perfectly around my schedule. I only work Saturday mornings at my part time job which will not change over summer. Our garden is dog friendly. It is fenced and gated with plenty of space for your pooch to play. We live near a park too so walks are on our doorstep. We have always allowed our dogs on our bed and sofa as we believe that they are a part of our family.

About: Hi there! 😊 I’m Gabby 👋, an experienced and reliable pet sitter based in Leeds. I have a flexible schedule, love animals, and thoroughly enjoy travel—which has allowed me to look after adorable pets all over Europe. This flexibility also makes it easy for me to travel to more rural areas, which I know can be helpful for clients. (This is, of course, dependent on the length of the stay required). What makes me a good sitter: I really enjoy long walks and getting out into the countryside. I love to explore with furry friends and have a car that I'm happy to transport pets in, provided you are comfortable with that. I have the good fortune of being able to work from anywhere, so I can be with your pet 24/7 throughout the duration of the booking. I am very effective at assessing animals' needs and facilitating a range of activities to ensure they are engaged and having a wonderful time. I also have experience in administering medications and supporting pets with strict routines or those undergoing training. I understand how important it is to follow an owner's guidance, especially if a pet has underlying health conditions. I feel confident caring for young and elderly animals alike, and none are too big or too small! 🐈🐕 And generally, I just love animals—I mean, who doesn't love a cuddle on the sofa with a fur baby? When sitting: I understand that inviting someone into your home to look after your pet requires a lot of trust, and I take that very seriously. I take care to look after both your pets and your home thoughtfully, ensuring your house is left as clean as it was found, and that your pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I also love taking nice pictures of your pets to send you regular updates, so you can see what they're getting up to and have total peace of mind while you're away. Feel free to get in touch! I'm happy to have a phone call and arrange a meet-and-greet prior to booking. If you have any questions at all, please just let me know. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Also, if you use this link, it gives you £15 off your first booking with me: 👉 https://www.rover.com/sit/gabrin67458 😊 Please note: Pets must be non-aggressive towards people and comfortable walking on a lead and/or have good recall. Owners are to provide beds, food, bowls, and toys for the duration of the stay. 🐾 Pet care fits very naturally into our routine. I have flexible working schedules, which means I can plan my day around the needs of pets able to give regular walks, attention and companionship throughout the day. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets. In our home, dogs are always supervised, have access to a secure, fenced garden for outdoor play and are welcome to rest comfortably inside with their own beds on on our covered sofa with us. We make sure the environment is calm, clean and free from hazards. When visiting owner’s home, I follow instructions carefully, respect routines, ensure the pet feels safe, attended too and comfortable at all times, and ensure that I leave the space tidy and clean. Whether at home or theirs, we provide consistent supervision, plenty of attention, and maintain a trustworthy, reliable presence so both pets and owners feel confident and at ease.
About: I’ve always loved animals especially dogs and I treat them literally like fur babies! Ever since I was a young child I’ve had dogs around me and as pets. I use to always enjoy walking the neighbours dogs too. I’ve looked after friends and family’s pets numerous of times whilst they’ve been on holiday or just at work. I have a cocker spaniel of my own so he loves tagging along for the exercise and to socialise with other dogs! I’ve also helped friends when their dogs have had a litter. I helped them with feeding, toilet training and to keep clean. I’m currently working a 0 hour contract as a part time care assistant so I can be very flexible with time spent with your fur babies In my home I have a fenced garden with a locked gate to ensure safety the same goes for the back garden. When travelling with animals I will provide crates fitted correctly and also seatbelts for dogs that are not keen on crates

I work from home so have the opportunity to look after pets alongside my everyday routine. I have lots of spare time at the weekends to give a pet full attention. I have a large outdoor space with private access for a pet to run around and live near lots of parks and trails to give animals more space that they may require. I have room to cater for pets and their needs.
“Leah is very kind and professional, my doggy loves her. I have a regular slot and have no qualms about giving Leah my housekeys. She comes in and out for my dog without disturbing my work. She responded quickly and slotted in a visit as an emergency when I had to go to A&E. Can't recommend Leah enough 🤩”

About: I have grown up with dogs since about the age of 10, and always take care and walk my parents dog. I work alongside my full time job as a puppy yoga assistant too. I have a dog First Aid qualification also. I work from home with regular breaks so am available all week to look after pets. They fit perfectly into my routine as I already go for regular walks. I own a very safe 2 bed house, with plenty of room in the living room and kitchen, and 2 large bedrooms, so your dog will have lots of space to feel comfortable. I also have a decent sized back porch for your dog to safely play in.

“Alison was brilliant with our staffie Bo, who stayed overnight at her house. The regular updates and photos were much appreciated and Bo seemed very relaxed and comfortable with Alison (especially since she can be very hyper!) Would definitely recommend :)”

“Leah and her partner are absolutely lovely, welcoming people. They took the time to find out about my dog and his likes/dislikes and did everything in their power to accommodate him. I feel really comfortable knowing he is in safe hands. Highly recommend!”

“Buddy and Bruno stayed with Daisy whilst we were on holiday for a week. Daisy was really accommodating with drop off and pick up times, and communicated with us whilst we were away and even sent pictures which was great. Buddy and Bruno looked relaxed, which is not like Buddy who has separation anxiety. I would highly recommend Daisy and we will definently use her again”

“My six year old Labrador had a wonderful time with Rachel, James and of course, their doggy Murphy! The updates throughout the day were great and she settled straight in and made herself at home. I felt very comfortable leaving her to be looked after. I will definitely be booking in again. 🙂”

“Our dog, Olivia, had such a wonderful stay with Dawn and her family! We got lots of adorable photo and video updates of her adventures and we're 100% thrilled we've found such a fantastic sitter for Olivia! Thanks again Dawn!”

“Thomas and his partner are excellent dog carers we left Rosie our Border Collie with them for a few days and she clearly had a great time. They are genuine dog lovers which both we as the owners and Rosie as the spoilt brat, really appreciated…I would highly recommend them.”

“Amazing care. Winnie, our little pup, had a fab time with Sarah, the girls and her dog. We had regular updates and photos and overall we are extremely happy. We have booked Sarah for another few times when we are away as we were delighted.”

“I highly recommend Rosana . She took exceptional care of my cat while I was away and gave me complete peace of mind. Every day she sent photos and videos, which was so reassuring and showed how happy and well cared for my cat was.”

“Simon & Charlotte are a lovely couple and provided the perfect home and stay for our dog overnight. As it was the first time booking with them, they were happy to meet first. They also shared a couple of pictures of a very happy Bambi on one of her favourite walks they took her on. They made the whole experience very easy and I’ll be more than happy to book with them again.”

“Kez and Alex are amazing sitters! This was our first time leaving Everett for more than a night, and they made it so easy. They kept us updated with photos and videos, and it was clear he was happy, relaxed, and well cared for. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!”

“Lucy looked after our two dachshunds, Buzz and Woody, for 10 days while we were away, and we couldn't have asked for better. From the first enquiry she was quick to reply and easy to deal with, which made organising everything completely stress-free. The meet and greet was lovely — the boys took to her straight away, which told us everything we needed to know. While we were away she got back to us promptly whenever we checked in, and it was really reassuring to know they were in good hands. They came home happy, healthy and clearly well cared for. Lucy and her partner were brilliant, and we'd have no hesitation in booking again or recommending her to anyone looking for a sitter. Thank you, Lucy!”

“Bear had a wonderful time with Natalie . He loved his buddy Bella and Natalie was so attentive to his needs. We haven’t left Bear for that long for a few years so it was really reassuring to know he was a good hands. We would not hesitate for Bear to board with Natalie again :)”

“Cooper has had the best time whilst away. He has been looked after and lived his best life. Great communication and flexible regarding timings. I was sent updates and photos. Would 100% recommend. Cooper has come home a happy pup.”

“Maya was an absolutely amazing sitter and I cannot recommend her enough! My pup is really nervous with new people and he spent about 7 nights with Maya. He looked happy and healthy in all the pictures Maya sent over while I was away. Maya is now one of the few people Puddles is excited to see! She is Puddles the Dachshund approved ✅”

“Rachel, John and their family have been fantastic with Leia. Leia can be a little nervous with new people and places, but it was clear to see from all the photos that Rachel shared that Leia was having a fabulous holiday with them and looked very relaxed around them. Rachel's flexibility to accommodate Leia at such short notice was also greatly appreciated. Highly recommended! Thanks Rachel, from both me and Leia 🐶”

About: I have been a fan of dogs my whole life, have owned dogs in the past, and currently share responsibilities of caring for a male boxer cross with a friend. For the last 10 years I have been a reliable port of call for family, close friends, friends of friends and neighbours when a short-term solution is needed. Since hearing about Rover.com recently, I decided to reinstate this account and start offering these services to a wider audience. I work full-time, but only a 5 minute walk from home and will never leave a dog unattended for longer than 4 hours as a rule. My work hours at the office are 8:30-17:00 Mon-Thurs with an hour long break at midday, and 8:30-12:30 on Fridays. I usually use my weekends for hiking so can tailor walks to suit individual dogs and/or take specific exercise requests from owners. I have a high-fenced, secure garden with adequate space and shade and great retired neighbours either side of my terrace. On pleasant days when I am required to be in-office, I will often leave Fred (my boxer cross) outside with a big bowl of water so he can relax in the sun (or shade) at his leisure. With regards to overnight stays, it is a preference that dogs stay downstairs in either my kitchen or living room, but I can be flexible if certain dogs display any form of separation anxiety. Any dogs staying in my home must have been treated for fleas as standard so as not to jeopardise future pets from picking up hitch-hikers on their staycation.
