“Oscar’s fourth time back and I think we’d struggle to send him anywhere else, he’s got a true home from home. This was a longer stint, 10 nights rather than his usual weekend but was as good as ever, Sophie was great at keeping us updated and Oscar just loves Poppy! He’ll definitely be back!”

“Jessica was fantastic with our Schnauzer. Lots of lovely long walks and pictures sent throughout the stay of 4 nights. I'd recommend highly and will book with Jessica again!”

About: I grew up with dogs, a mixed breed and a whippet and as an adult have had 3 sighthounds - 2 beautiful greyhounds and my current dog; gorgeous Arlo the lurcher. I have cared for dogs of all ages and have experience caring for dogs with very significant medical needs. My boy Arlo was diagnosed with a tumour this year and has just completed radiotherapy. He's now doing brilliantly and is back to his joyful best. All my dogs have been rescues from situations of neglect, so I am also experienced in supporting dogs who have experienced trauma. I love dogs with all my heart and make friends with every dog I meet. Dogs often seem especially drawn to me, with many owners commenting that their dogs don't usually make a fuss of strangers! I promise to treat your dog with the same love, respect and care that I give my own dog. Because of my work I have an enhanced DBS checks, so you can be absolutely sure I am a safe and trustworthy person to leave your precious pup with. I work in education part-time, so term time I can do Mondays, Fridays. Saturdays and Sundays. During the school holidays I am largely available every day. My dog Arlo likes plenty of exercise and fun to keep his brain stimulated, so days with us are usually busy; at least 3 hours of walking and playing with toys at home also - Arlo is happy to share. I have a small fenced garden and live close to lots of lovely walks. Arlo and I love to explore the countryside on long walks and would love your doggo to keep us company. On hot summer days we choose woodland walks with plenty of shade and places to have a swim and a drink.
“My GSP had a great stay with Daisy and was well looked after which was evident from the photo updates of her running around on walks and relaxing and settled in at home too. Would recommend”

“Amy was brilliant, so welcoming and great communication start to finish. Goose clearly felt happy and he was the calmest he's been when we've picked him up from anywhere! Absolutely would recommend and we'll be booking again in the future 😊”

“Jacqui really took care of our furry girl. Her dog looked after her too! I couldn't have asked for more and totally felt Elly was settled and very happy. We will definitely use Jacqui again.”

“Our fur baby had never been looked after by anyone other than family before but as it was our daughters wedding and we had to find a dog boarder. We have been so lucky to find Hayley and her partner to look after Bonnie, they made us feel relaxed in leaving her and that it was home from home for her ie sleeping in the sofa and even their bed. We would definitely leave her again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them”

“Jessica and James were outstanding hosts and gave a great impression of how Rover hosts are. We had continuous updates and photos during the day and evening, which was super reassuring for both of us. Maltie persuaded our hosts to allow her to sneak into their bedroom, then jumped onto the bed in the night!! Her favourite place. When collecting Maltie, information was passed back as were all of her belongings. Top star hosts and would definitely use Jessica and James again without any hesitation. Maltie is still very tired, which is good for us. Thank you for looking after Maltie, Jessica and James”

“What a lovely, friendly family! Carmen and Adina were very welcoming and were fabulous with Jake (cat). Jake looked happy and settled in the pictures we recieved. Jake didn't seem to want to come home. We would 100% recommend Carmen and Adina to others. We would also use their services again in the future with our pets :)”

“Dawn was extremely accommodating and really helpful supporting a last minute booking including a quick visit prior to the booking. Harvey (my beagle) was really happy with Dawn and her children, enjoying his walks and plays! Dawn kept me updated regularly with photos and videos which reinforced how content he was. Nothing seemed too much, including a late night collection time. Thanks so much!”

“Natalia and her family have been absolutely amazing with Rocco. I’ve been getting daily updates on how he’s been doing and he’s been so settled and happy in her home. It really has been a home away from home for him. Not to mention that Natalia took on our booking for Rocco within a matter of hours due to an emergency arising with our original dog care. I couldn’t recommend Natalia enough she really cared for Rocco like he was ger own dog.”

“We were very nervous leaving our fur baby for the first time. However, Lauren was amazing. She made us comfortable when we met her. Our dog seemed to love her from the outset. Lauren sent us regular pictures, and gave us updates, assuring us that our pet was doing well. Next time I need someone to watch my dog in the area, I will definately ask Lauren, and would have no hesitation recommending her to everyone.”

“Sarah looked after our 2 dogs for 8 nights. She kept us up to date with how they had settled over the 1st few days, and photos of their walks throughout their stay. Both dogs had a great time (not sure they wanted to come home! ?). Will definitely use Sarah's services again and can highly recommend. Thank you.”

“Amrie was fantastic with Pumpkin. She settled and felt at ease straight away. She stayed for a week, and I got lots of great updates and knew my dog was having the best time. I’m so grateful, I wouldn’t hesitate to leave Pumpkin with Amrie again.”

“Rosina was truly amazing. Our two cats - Kenzo and Mitsu - settled in almost immediately. She not only provided daily updates but we received videos of our two cats playing, resting and just being cats. Loved it! She provided a clean, caring, cat-loving holiday home for our two. I cannot thank Rosina enough. Our cats are calmer, happier and even more playful.❤️ Five star plus. We will be using her services anytime we go away - short or longer breaks. Worth every penny and more! Thank you once again Rover for connecting us with Rosina. Kind regards, From Layla And Yaz”

“Alice was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. She looked after our cats with such genuine care, attention, and affection that we were able to relax completely while we were away. She truly went above and beyond in every way—not only making sure our cats were happy, well-fed, and comfortable, but also keeping us updated with regular messages and photos, which gave us real peace of mind. It was obvious that she treated them as if they were her own. We came home to happy and relaxed cats. Alice is reliable, thoughtful, and incredibly kind, and we wouldn't hesitate to book her again or recommend her to anyone looking for someone exceptional to care for their pets. Thank you, Alice—you exceeded all our expectations!”

“Lisa as always is the best. Cats love her. She even replaced the cat flap door when our little vandal of a cat broke it. We were away nearly a month and came back to very happy kitties. She is always my first choice.”

About: I have had cats since 11 years old, and I now have my own rescue cat, Binx (the cat on my profile picture), and just recently I got my second cat Samhain. I am a registered veterinary nurse (almost 2 years qualified), so I am familiar with medications, clinical signs of illness, infection control, dietary needs etc. I recently moved over to night shifts so I now have a lot more free time to help look after your pets! I am friendly and reliable and I treat every animal as if they are my own.

“Morgan looked after my cat for a little over a week and I could not have wished for a better sitter. Morgan put me at ease with his kind demeanour and genuine love for animals. By the end of the period, I was starting to wonder who my cat liked more, me or Morgan! Couldn’t recommend him more highly.”

“Rosie is brilliant, always sends loads of pictures, the cats are very relaxed with her. She even walks one of them on a harness as he’s a wild little terrorist who demands adventure. Would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter. She is very responsible and trustworthy. Thanks, Rosie!”

About: I have been on rover since November 2023 and as massive dog lovers, we are having the time of our lives looking after other people's pets. Look at our reviews to see how happy and content all your pets are with us. I have recently started house sitting in your home too. I have had dogs all our life and been surrounded by dogs in the family since childhood. I have a Labrador called Bella who is 7, she is great with other dogs and very well behaved. She is a real pampered pooch, regularly exercised and has lots of cuddles. Unfortunately we lost Ted our 8 year old Labrador to cancer in September 24, you will most likely read a lot about him in our reviews. We now have Nelly who is a 1 year old lab. Both are great with dogs, however they don’t always have to come to your house when I am dog sitting, sometimes they can stay at home. Monday to Friday Maria works from home so your pooch will have lots of company and cuddles. I work local to home for lunchtime walks. On evening and weekends I run or walk with Bella, so your dog will get plenty of exercise. We have a large enclosed garden for safety , Bella sleeps downstairs in the kitchen or living room, your dog can sleep up or downstairs.
About: I have always owned pets - everything from hamsters to horses! I have grown up with family dogs and caring for animals is a personal passion of mine. I used to help out my Mum with her dog sitting and dog walking business. So I understand how I would need to cater for each dog and treat each dog as their own. I am very patient and caring and will do anything to ensure your pet is happy and safe within my care... as well as have lots of fun! My boyfriend and I both share a passion for animal welfare and animal care, which will be evident in the way we care for your pet :) I work remotely from home with flexible hours. So I can work around you and your pet and will always be home when your pet is with me. I have an enclosed front yard and will always keep your dog on a lead unless otherwise stated they are 100% safe off the lead and have excellent recall.
About: I have two dogs that are very friendlys, your pets will be in a loving, friendly and fun environment with all the comforts of their home. I have a safe contained garden and I'm close to woods and a river for diverse walks suitable for your favourite furries! Only able to have guests from 5pm Fridays to sunday evening. Can collect from your house if necessary and drop off for a small petrol fee. During their stay they will not be left unattended and will have as many cuddles as they want! Im looking forward to having them stay. I will give you my personal number during their stay and keep you updated on their stay as much as you want! Your puppies will love their time with me and my two boys!

“Our dog absolutely loves Ashleigh and gets so excited to see her! And her dog Arlo! She took Tiny out on a big adventure and sent lots of photos and updates, which we loved. I would definitely recommend her. You can tell that Ashleigh really loves looking after your dog, which is exactly what you want in a pet sitter!”

“Arlo had a lovely first stay with Daisy and her other dog visitor Bucky. Daisy felt confident to give him off lead time and a lovely long walk and play. He came home happy and sleepy.”

“Arlo had a very busy day with Amber. He played hard with 2 new doggy friends, had 2 decent walks and finished his day happy and sleepy! Amber took lots of photos of the day to keep me informed. I will definitely book again.”

About: Having grown up surrounded by dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments, caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. From an early age, I developed a strong understanding of canine behaviour, routines, and the individual needs that make every dog unique. Over the years, I have regularly looked after dogs for neighbours, friends, and family members, providing attentive care, companionship, exercise, feeding, and maintaining established routines. These experiences have allowed me to build confidence working with a wide range of personalities, from energetic and playful dogs to those who are older, more reserved, or require extra patience and reassurance. I understand the importance of trust when caring for someone else’s pet and am committed to providing a safe, reliable, and nurturing environment where dogs feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for. My goal is always to ensure that every dog receives the same level of attention, affection, and respect that I would give to my own pet, while giving owners complete peace of mind. I have recently completed my college studies and, as I am due to begin university in September, I currently have a highly flexible schedule with no ongoing commitments. This allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care, whether that involves regular walks, daytime visits, overnight stays, or accommodating specific routines and needs. During this period, I am available throughout the week and can offer reliable, consistent care with a high degree of flexibility. I understand how important it is for owners to know their pets are receiving attentive, dependable care, and I am committed to ensuring every dog feels comfortable, exercised, and well looked after while in my care. Whether caring for pets in my home or in a pet owner’s home, my priority is always to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while maintaining their usual routine as closely as possible. I provide regular feeding, fresh water, exercise, playtime, companionship, and plenty of attention, while also following any specific instructions regarding medications, dietary requirements, or behavioural needs. In my own home, pets will have access to a secure, large fenced garden where they can safely play, explore, and exercise under supervision. I also have a very friendly and playful Bedlington Whippet who is well-socialised and enjoys the company of other dogs. I always ensure introductions are carried out carefully and that every dog feels comfortable and relaxed. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I respect their established routines and environment, helping pets feel settled and reducing any stress while their owners are away. I understand that every pet is unique, so I tailor my care to their individual personality, energy levels, and needs, ensuring they receive the attention, exercise, and affection they deserve.
“Finn loves his stays with Candida and family. He is always eager to say 'hello' and knows he'll have an enjoyable time. So much happier than going to kennels. Looking forward to his next stay.”

About: What sets us apart from other sitters is the warm, home-from-home environment we provide. We’re a dog-loving household, and with my retired mum at home during the day, there’s always someone around to give your dog plenty of love and attention. Our two friendly, well-socialised dogs also help new dogs feel settled and part of the family from the start. We have experience with dogs of all ages — from playful puppies to gentle seniors — and we always adapt our care to suit each dog’s needs. Whether it’s supporting with basic training, administering medication, or providing a calm space for older dogs to relax, we’re committed to making sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I work full-time from home in a corporate role, so I’m around all day to provide consistent care and attention. On weekdays, I take my 4-year-old female Labradoodle out for a longer walk around 8am, and again in the evening around 5pm. Although I don’t have a garden, I’m only a 2-minute walk from Yeadon Tarn, so I can easily take dogs out frequently throughout the day for toilet breaks, short walks, or exercise. At weekends, we start the day with a longer walk in the morning, and dogs will usually join me in whatever I’m doing during the day, while still having plenty of rest time at home if preferred. I always prioritise each pet’s safety, comfort, and routine. In my home, pets are supervised and cared for in a calm, clean environment, with plenty of attention and regular walks throughout the day. I follow any instructions provided by the owner closely, including feeding routines, medication, and preferred walking habits.
“After reading raving reviews about Kez & Alice I must agree! Fantastic service, so friendly & I have no doubts that Dexter would move in with Kez & Alice if he could. Really attentive & happy for Dex to go round prior to his stay for a quick meet and greet which I think really helped Dex settle. I wouldn’t think twice about booking back in with Kez & Alice.”

“Susan is really great dog carer. She helped us out during a difficult situation. Our very anxious dog was very settled with Susan and we would be more than happy to use her services again”

“Sarah was amazing with our 18 month old golden retriever Walter, as she looked after him for the day while we were at a family wedding, This was the first time we had been away without him and relied on a dog sitter, and Sarah just put our minds at ease from the start. She was fully understanding of our dog’s needs, and the opportunity to meet her with Walter for a walk a few weeks before the date really helped reassure us that we could definitely leave him in safe hands! It was clear that Walter loved his stay with Sarah, his tail didn’t stop wagging when I dropped him off and when I picked him up to bring him home. It was also lovely to receive some photos of Walter enjoying himself during the day. We will definitely ask Sarah to look after Walter again! ?”

I feed my dogs twice a day and walk them daily. We let them out into our garden regularly for toilet breaks I have a fenced garden and 2 friendly, playful dogs. “Right from the start, I knew Hugo would be well looked after by Dawn and her family. She made us both feel welcome and instantly relaxed. She sent lots of photos and videos and kept me updated on Hugo’s day. He’s a big dog with lots of energy but Dawn embraced this, walked and played with him and let him rest when he needed it. You can see how much Dawn genuinely loves dogs and always talks about the other dogs she looks after by name which shows that this is a passion for Dawn and not just a job. I will absolutely be booking Dawn again”

“So lovely and welcoming, helped to look after Tusker really last minute. Sent messages throughout the day to keep me updated and he seemed to have a really good time. Couldn’t have asked for a better sitter x”

“I can’t recommend Samuel D enough. He has a natural affinity for dogs and it shows in every interaction. Bailey absolutely adores him. He’s incredibly genuine, reliable and truly a godsend. Knowing Bailey is in such capable hands gives me total peace of mind. If you’re looking for someone who treats your dog like their own then look no further. I hope Samuel D and Bailey continue their relationship for a long time.”

About: I have had dogs throughout my entire life, and more recently I became a registered veterinary nurse, where I work mostly with dogs. I often look after my dad’s dog Stanley, who is seen on my profile picture. We recently went on a solo holiday together, where we enjoyed going on lots of hikes. Being an RVN, I am trained in CPR and giving medications. I currently work a night shift rotation of 1 week on and 2 weeks off. I plan to only pet sit during my 2 weeks off so that I am available at all times during the day. I will diligently follow instructions from the owner, while also using my professional judgement on the wellbeing of the cat. If I have any concerns I will immediately contact the owner, and stay with the cat until I am sure that everything is okay. During my visits I will spend time with the cat, and try to gain their trust. However, I also understand that cats like their space and boundaries respected. I am available to go on either short walks with your dog or longer walks with a maximum of 2 hours. I will diligently follow your instructions on what your dog likes during their walk!

About: Hi there! 😊 I’m Gabby 👋, an experienced and reliable pet sitter based in Leeds. I have a flexible schedule, love animals, and thoroughly enjoy travel—which has allowed me to look after adorable pets all over Europe. This flexibility also makes it easy for me to travel to more rural areas, which I know can be helpful for clients. (This is, of course, dependent on the length of the stay required). What makes me a good sitter: I really enjoy long walks and getting out into the countryside. I love to explore with furry friends and have a car that I'm happy to transport pets in, provided you are comfortable with that. I have the good fortune of being able to work from anywhere, so I can be with your pet 24/7 throughout the duration of the booking. I am very effective at assessing animals' needs and facilitating a range of activities to ensure they are engaged and having a wonderful time. I also have experience in administering medications and supporting pets with strict routines or those undergoing training. I understand how important it is to follow an owner's guidance, especially if a pet has underlying health conditions. I feel confident caring for young and elderly animals alike, and none are too big or too small! 🐈🐕 And generally, I just love animals—I mean, who doesn't love a cuddle on the sofa with a fur baby? When sitting: I understand that inviting someone into your home to look after your pet requires a lot of trust, and I take that very seriously. I take care to look after both your pets and your home thoughtfully, ensuring your house is left as clean as it was found, and that your pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I also love taking nice pictures of your pets to send you regular updates, so you can see what they're getting up to and have total peace of mind while you're away. Feel free to get in touch! I'm happy to have a phone call and arrange a meet-and-greet prior to booking. If you have any questions at all, please just let me know. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Also, if you use this link, it gives you £15 off your first booking with me: 👉 https://www.rover.com/sit/gabrin67458 😊 Please note: Pets must be non-aggressive towards people and comfortable walking on a lead and/or have good recall. Owners are to provide beds, food, bowls, and toys for the duration of the stay. 🐾 Pet care fits very naturally into our routine. I have flexible working schedules, which means I can plan my day around the needs of pets able to give regular walks, attention and companionship throughout the day. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets. In our home, dogs are always supervised, have access to a secure, fenced garden for outdoor play and are welcome to rest comfortably inside with their own beds on on our covered sofa with us. We make sure the environment is calm, clean and free from hazards. When visiting owner’s home, I follow instructions carefully, respect routines, ensure the pet feels safe, attended too and comfortable at all times, and ensure that I leave the space tidy and clean. Whether at home or theirs, we provide consistent supervision, plenty of attention, and maintain a trustworthy, reliable presence so both pets and owners feel confident and at ease.
About: I’ve always loved animals especially dogs and I treat them literally like fur babies! Ever since I was a young child I’ve had dogs around me and as pets. I use to always enjoy walking the neighbours dogs too. I’ve looked after friends and family’s pets numerous of times whilst they’ve been on holiday or just at work. I have a cocker spaniel of my own so he loves tagging along for the exercise and to socialise with other dogs! I’ve also helped friends when their dogs have had a litter. I helped them with feeding, toilet training and to keep clean. I’m currently working a 0 hour contract as a part time care assistant so I can be very flexible with time spent with your fur babies In my home I have a fenced garden with a locked gate to ensure safety the same goes for the back garden. When travelling with animals I will provide crates fitted correctly and also seatbelts for dogs that are not keen on crates
About: I have just graduated as a veterinary surgeon this year! Therefore, I have lots of experience around animals. I have undertaken placements in vets, kennels, and in numerous farm settings. I have my own dog who has unfortunately had spinal surgery twice so I understand how to cater to specific needs and the extra care that is needed with some animals which I am willing to give! Therefore I also understand that people are very precious about their pets and I assure you they’re in good hands! I am free all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Please message me any queries about times, I have times where I am free throughout the week so can try work something out! As stated before, I have my own dog that needs certain special care so I am very understanding of this and like to ensure that your animal will be in good hands!
About: Hi, I’m Isobel! I’m a graphic designer who works from home some days and I absolutely love animals. I live with my fiancé Tom (he’s in my photos) I have experience with both cat and dog sitting, walking, feeding, bathing, playing, and lots of cuddles! I’ve helped care for our family dogs and my fiancé’s (my fiancé is called Tom) pets — two big dogs and a cat — so I’m confident with pets of all sizes. As is Tom as well, he will be looking after your pet with me some days, due to the nature of his job he might not be in some days. Due to the nature of our work, one of us is nearly always home, your pet will get plenty of love, attention, and toilet breaks throughout the day. I’ll always treat your dog or cat like part of the family. If you think we’d be a good fit, feel free to pop by for a cuppa! I work from home on Mondays and Fridays, and I’m also available on Thursday evenings if needed. Tom is usually home on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, as he often flies on weekends. Between us, someone is typically around most of the week. We’ll do our best to work with your schedule — even in a last-minute emergency. We also have a car and can collect your pet if needed. We usually stay in on weekends and would be happy to look after your pet for the whole weekend if required. Both me and Tom will be at home most days, due to Toms job there might be days where he is working and will not be in the house. But I will be at home to give your pet care and attention. We have a lovely back garden — while it’s not fenced in, we’re happy to sit outside with your pet and keep a close eye on them, or keep them on a lead for safety. We also live near several parks and can drive them to the woods if they’d enjoy a longer walk. If your pet needs a pram, we’re more than happy to push them along for some fresh air! We can also feed and bathe your pet, and if they have any medical needs, we’ll do our best to ensure they take their medication (we’re fans of the classic cheese ball method!). We're happy to work around your schedule and will send regular updates and photos of your pet being thoroughly spoilt.
About: I’ve grown up around dogs and horses, plus cows, sheep, cats, goats and chickens on our friends farm. I have had dogs, chickens and owned 2 horses of my own too. I’ve looked after friends dogs as well as pet rats and cats. I really do love animals. Our dogs have always been a huge part of our lives and have joined us on adventures whenever we could take them along for the ride. I am currently studying at university and over the summer months I will be at home with nothing to do, so Rover fits perfectly around my schedule. I only work Saturday mornings at my part time job which will not change over summer. Our garden is dog friendly. It is fenced and gated with plenty of space for your pooch to play. We live near a park too so walks are on our doorstep. We have always allowed our dogs on our bed and sofa as we believe that they are a part of our family.

“Leah is very kind and professional, my doggy loves her. I have a regular slot and have no qualms about giving Leah my housekeys. She comes in and out for my dog without disturbing my work. She responded quickly and slotted in a visit as an emergency when I had to go to A&E. Can't recommend Leah enough 🤩”

About: Hi, Kez & Alice here. We are an animal loving couple who work at home full time and your pets will always come first in our household. So far, we have dog sat around 40 different dogs in the space of the last 4 years and we have loved every minute of it. Dogs we have looked after include high anxiety, high energy and females on heat. We’ve also had 2 dogs together at the same time who stayed with us for 2 weeks. During your pets time with us, you can rest assured that they will never be left alone and will have free reign of the house! Kez: I have done a couple of stints in Brazil volunteering at a dog sanctuary so I have experience dealing with a wide range of personality types and temperaments. I have always loved all animals and have had my fair share of pet dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits and even rats. Alice: I have always been a massive dog person and doted on all family pets. They come first over everything to me and will never be left alone. I love to walk dogs in the morning and again in the evening - with lots of sitting out in the garden in between! I joined Kez on his second trip to Brazil in August of 2023 looking after abandoned and abused dogs. You are more than welcome to as many pre-visits as you like so you can get to know us and to make sure that we’re the right fit for you and your pet. Between us we both work from home full time and will be at home 7 days a week. We returned from a 6-month career break in March 2024 where we were doing voluntary work around the world and this has included time spent volunteering at animal shelters which we loved! We also like to send daily updates on your pets so be prepared for plenty of pictures of your pooches! We have no pets of our own and we have no plans to have children any time soon so it’s just the two of us. We have a semi secure garden which the pets will have constant access to and we are right near the Yorkshire Dales so there are plenty of places to go on walks. Your pets will have our undivided attention 24 hours a day as we are both at home 7 days a week. As between us, we both work from home full time there will never be a moment where your pet will be left alone. We have a semi secured fenced garden and we are both always at home every day of the week so your pets will always be within our eyesight. We will also put up temporary fencing in any unsecured areas while we have your dog.
About: I’ve been a devoted dog mum and self-confessed cat whisperer for over ten years, caring for homes and animals across South Africa and the UK. References are available upon request. I’m green-fingered and deeply animal-loving, with particular affection for horses and hands-on experience caring for them. I’ve been a pet parent for most of my life and have shared my home with rabbits, hamsters, fish, birds, dogs, cats… and even a snake at one point. Growing up around farms also gave me early experience with farm animals. I hold a full UK driving licence and am confident driving most vehicles, making me flexible and reliable for rural or remote sits. Homeowners value my calm, attentive presence and the genuine care I bring to their animals and homes and I treat every sit as if it were my own. House sitting allows me the freedom to travel while working and studying, and most importantly I get to treat your pets as my own. I’m active and love to wild swim and hike, however the homebody is very much within me. Cuddles and adventures on tap as well as long walks which are even better when joined by furry friends. Please contact me to discuss schedules. I treat your home as my own, which allows both myself and your pet to feel at home while you’re away. Whether it be an adventurous walk or a cuddle on the couch, I can accommodate to your needs.

“Alison is fabulous. Buddy is really excited to get there and thoroughly enjoys his stays playing with Seren. It’s really reassuring to get updates throughout the stay to know he’s having a lovely time and is happy”

“Isobel was absolutely fantastic with our dog Juno, she was so well cared for while we were away. We received regular updates and photos and had complete peace of mind knowing she was being well looked after.”

“We would highly recommend Charlotte if you’re looking for a sitter, she was absolutely great from organising a meet and greet and providing regular updates while we were away. Olive had a lovely time and didn’t want to leave when we came to pick her up!”

About: With years of experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes, I understand that leaving your beloved companion with someone new can feel daunting. That's why I take the time to build a trusting relationship with both you and your pet from our very first meeting, getting to know their personality, routine, and individual needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and right at home. Your pet's welfare is my highest priority. For your complete peace of mind, I am DBS checked and certified in Pet First Aid, ensuring your companion is cared for responsibly, safely, and with genuine compassion. Pet care is my full-time job, which means I’m fully dedicated to providing consistent, reliable care throughout the week. I structure my days around pet visits, dog walks, and day boarding, allowing me to be flexible with timings where needed. This flexibility means I can accommodate morning, lunchtime, and afternoon visits, as well as regular weekly routines or one-off bookings. Because this is my main focus, I’m able to give each pet the time, attention, and care they deserve without rushing between commitments. When caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, calm, and family-based environment where animals are supervised throughout the day. I keep numbers small to ensure each pet receives individual attention and to maintain a relaxed atmosphere. I take time to understand each pet’s routine, behavior, and any special requirements before their stay. This includes feeding schedules, medication needs, exercise levels, and any anxiety or behavioral considerations. For home visits, I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel secure in their own environment. I ensure doors and gates are secure, provide fresh water, feeding, litter tray cleaning, and enrichment or companionship during each visit. Trust is very important to me, so I treat every home with respect and care, and I keep pet owners updated with messages, photos, and updates so you always know how your pet is doing.
About: Hi, we’re Rachel and James! We have a three year old dog called Murphy who just loves making new friends. Our house and garden are both very dog friendly and we also live opposite a park with is ideal for walks during the day. We always walk Murphy twice a day and can take your dog along too! I work from home and can take breaks throughout the day to let your pooch out for bathroom breaks. On nice days, we usually just leave the back door open anyway for our dog, so they will be free to roam. Murphy is a great mix of playful and restful during the day, so your dog will have a great time with him! We have a fully fenced back garden and the dog would have free roam of the house during the day. Overnight, they would sleep downstairs (either on the sofa in the living room with Murphy, in the kitchen or in a crate, your preference.)
“Zoe was amazing with my dog Bella, she helped out at quite short notice and also walked my brothers dog too when I asked. He also said how great her and her partner were. Bella had a lovely time staying with Zoe and I can tell she was settled as she walked us back in the direction of her house after staying there 🤣 Bella can’t wait to come stay again x”

“Leah and Quinn took such good care of Teddy, so much so, I’m not sure he wanted to come home! Leah was so accommodating and eased my concerns, sent updates to reassure me. I will be recommending Leah to people I know. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to leave Teddy whilst I went away. Thanks so much, see you soon!”

“Absolute first class experience with Christie who cared for our two boys for 9 days. She went above and beyond to make Ernie, Bailey and us comfortable during their stay and we were provided with regular updates and pictures of their ‘holiday’ with Christie and her family. Would not hesitate to book again and recommend to others, absolute gem of a sitter, thank you again Christie! ⭐⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Carrie is such a a lovely lady who took great care of our Staffy Cross, Chico, who can be a bit of a handful!! She sent us regular updates throughout our trip so we knew our boy was happy and in good hands! ❤️ We would definitely use her services again and recommend her to other dog owners. ☺️”

“Highly recommend Thankyou for taking such good care of Winnie. Very good communication and flexible with pick up and drop off Sounded like Winnie had very high quality walk and outing to eccup, which she would have loved. Nice house and set up with enclosed garden perfect for doggy”

“Couldn’t ask for a better experience. Rachel made Bertie ( and myself) so welcome. I was kept informed with pictures, videos and little updates so that I could relax and know my furbaby was happy. Would not hesitate to recommend and will use again. Thank you so much Rachel and family.”

About: **Pricing below includes a 15% booking fee & an additional 15% fee they deduct from each booking I make!** ( Due to having chronic health issues, I am unable to dogsit for long periods of time.) I'm Addie, 32, she/they. I have experience with multiple dog breeds, from jack russels and staffys, to huskies and westies, to lurchers and pugs. From a young age I took an interest in dogs and I consider them my soul animals. As a child, I started training my Grandma's dogs and then my own family dogs. I've enjoyed learning about dogs behaviours, cues and psychology which gives me a better understanding of each individual animal. I had my own dog, up until 2 years ago as she passed away and so I have experience of being the sole carer of a pet dog. I'm always my friends and families go to person for dog sitting and I've been called a "dog whisperer". One of the proudest things I can say is that all animals trust me and that is such an honour! I live in a warm and compassionate shared house with 3 other dog lovers. Everyone mostly works from home so there will never be a shortage of cuddles and attention. At the moment, I don't work due to chronic health issues, so I have a lot of free time (depending on whether I'm having a bad flare up or not). Because of this, all my love and attention is on caring for the pets I look after. I tend to only ever look after one dog at a time, so I can give them my full attention. In my household there are no other animals or any children. I don't have an enclosed garden but I'm happy to take them to the toilet as many times as they need on the lead. There are several grass sections and woodland right next to my house. I always wants dogs to feel like my home is their home and that includes going on the sofa and bed.
