About: I grew up with dogs, a mixed breed and a whippet and as an adult have had 3 sighthounds - 2 beautiful greyhounds and my current dog; gorgeous Arlo the lurcher. I have cared for dogs of all ages and have experience caring for dogs with very significant medical needs. My boy Arlo was diagnosed with a tumour this year and has just completed radiotherapy. He's now doing brilliantly and is back to his joyful best. All my dogs have been rescues from situations of neglect, so I am also experienced in supporting dogs who have experienced trauma. I love dogs with all my heart and make friends with every dog I meet. Dogs often seem especially drawn to me, with many owners commenting that their dogs don't usually make a fuss of strangers! I promise to treat your dog with the same love, respect and care that I give my own dog. Because of my work I have an enhanced DBS checks, so you can be absolutely sure I am a safe and trustworthy person to leave your precious pup with. I work in education part-time, so term time I can do Mondays, Fridays. Saturdays and Sundays. During the school holidays I am largely available every day. My dog Arlo likes plenty of exercise and fun to keep his brain stimulated, so days with us are usually busy; at least 3 hours of walking and playing with toys at home also - Arlo is happy to share. I have a small fenced garden and live close to lots of lovely walks. Arlo and I love to explore the countryside on long walks and would love your doggo to keep us company. On hot summer days we choose woodland walks with plenty of shade and places to have a swim and a drink.

About: I have been on rover since November 2023 and as massive dog lovers, we are having the time of our lives looking after other people's pets. I have had dogs all our life and been surrounded by dogs in the family since childhood. I have a Labrador called Bella who is 7, she is great with other dogs and very well behaved. She is a real pampered pooch, regularly exercised and has lots of cuddles. Unfortunately we lost Ted our 8 year old Labrador to cancer in September 24, you will most likely read a lot about him in our reviews. We now have Nelly who is a 1 year old lab. Both are great with dogs, however they don’t always have to come to your house when I am dog sitting, sometimes they can stay at home. Monday to Friday Maria works from home so your pooch will have lots of company and cuddles. I work local to home for lunchtime walks. On evening and weekends I run or walk with Bella, so your dog will get plenty of exercise. We have a large enclosed garden for safety , Bella sleeps downstairs in the kitchen or living room, your dog can sleep up or downstairs.

We’re a dog-loving household, and with my retired mum at home during the day, there’s always someone around to give your dog plenty of love and attention. About: I have grown up always having pet dogs and one dog previously had puppies. I currently have 2 dogs and walk them everyday. I still with my parents so there are multiple people in this household to watch over your dogs I’m currently unemployed and help take care of my two dogs along side my parents. About: I have had dogs throughout my entire life, and more recently I became a registered veterinary nurse, where I work mostly with dogs. I often look after my dad’s dog Stanley, who is seen on my profile picture. We recently went on a solo holiday together, where we enjoyed going on lots of hikes. Being an RVN, I am trained in CPR and giving medications. I currently work a night shift rotation of 1 week on and 2 weeks off. I plan to only pet sit during my 2 weeks off so that I am available at all times during the day. I will diligently follow instructions from the owner, while also using my professional judgement on the wellbeing of the cat. About: I’ve always loved animals especially dogs and I treat them literally like fur babies! Ever since I was a young child I’ve had dogs around me and as pets. About: Hi, I’m Isobel! I’m a graphic designer who works from home some days and I absolutely love animals. I live with my fiancé Tom (he’s in my photos) I have experience with both cat and dog sitting, walking, feeding, bathing, playing, and lots of cuddles! I’ve helped care for our family dogs and my fiancé’s (my fiancé is called Tom) pets — two big dogs and a cat — so I’m confident with pets of all sizes. As is Tom as well, he will be looking after your pet with me some days, due to the nature of his job he might not be in some days. Due to the nature of our work, one of us is nearly always home, your pet will get plenty of love, attention, and toilet breaks throughout the day. I’ll always treat your dog or cat like part of the family. If you think we’d be a good fit, feel free to pop by for a cuppa! I work from home on Mondays and Fridays, and I’m also available on Thursday evenings if needed. Tom is usually home on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, as he often flies on weekends. Between us, someone is typically around most of the week. We’ll do our best to work with your schedule — even in a last-minute emergency. We also have a car and can collect your pet if needed. We usually stay in on weekends and would be happy to look after your pet for the whole weekend if required. Both me and Tom will be at home most days, due to Toms job there might be days where he is working and will not be in the house. But I will be at home to give your pet care and attention. We have a lovely back garden — while it’s not fenced in, we’re happy to sit outside with your pet and keep a close eye on them, or keep them on a lead for safety. We also live near several parks and can drive them to the woods if they’d enjoy a longer walk. If your pet needs a pram, we’re more than happy to push them along for some fresh air! We can also feed and bathe your pet, and if they have any medical needs, we’ll do our best to ensure they take their medication (we’re fans of the classic cheese ball method!). We're happy to work around your schedule and will send regular updates and photos of your pet being thoroughly spoilt.
About: I’ve grown up around dogs and horses, plus cows, sheep, cats, goats and chickens on our friends farm. I have had dogs, chickens and owned 2 horses of my own too. I’ve looked after friends dogs as well as pet rats and cats. I really do love animals. Monday to Friday Maria works from home so your pooch will have lots of company and cuddles. I work local to home for lunchtime walks. On evening and weekends I run or walk with Bella, so your dog will get plenty of exercise. We have a large enclosed garden for safety , Bella sleeps downstairs in the kitchen or living room, your dog can sleep up or downstairs.

About: Hi, we’re Rachel and James! We have a three year old dog called Murphy who just loves making new friends. Our house and garden are both very dog friendly and we also live opposite a park with is ideal for walks during the day. We always walk Murphy twice a day and can take your dog along too! I work from home and can take breaks throughout the day to let your pooch out for bathroom breaks. On nice days, we usually just leave the back door open anyway for our dog, so they will be free to roam. Murphy is a great mix of playful and restful during the day, so your dog will have a great time with him! We have a fully fenced back garden and the dog would have free roam of the house during the day. Overnight, they would sleep downstairs (either on the sofa in the living room with Murphy, in the kitchen or in a crate, your preference.)

I'm Addie, 32, she/they. I have experience with multiple dog breeds, from jack russels and staffys, to huskies and westies, to lurchers and pugs. From a young age I took an interest in dogs and I consider them my soul animals. As a child, I started training my Grandma's dogs and then my own family dogs. I've enjoyed learning about dogs behaviours, cues and psychology which gives me a better understanding of each individual animal. I had my own dog, up until 2 years ago as she passed away and so I have experience of being the sole carer of a pet dog. I'm always my friends and families go to person for dog sitting and I've been called a "dog whisperer". One of the proudest things I can say is that all animals trust me and that is such an honour! I live in a warm and compassionate shared house with 3 other dog lovers. Everyone mostly works from home so there will never be a shortage of cuddles and attention. At the moment, I don't work due to chronic health issues, so I have a lot of free time (depending on whether I'm having a bad flare up or not). Because of this, all my love and attention is on caring for the pets I look after. I tend to only ever look after one dog at a time, so I can give them my full attention. In my household there are no other animals or any children. I don't have an enclosed garden but I'm happy to take them to the toilet as many times as they need on the lead. There are several grass sections and woodland right next to my house. I always wants dogs to feel like my home is their home and that includes going on the sofa and bed.
