About: Always been around pets, especially dogs, since childhood. Absolutely love animals, and so does the wife. Both now semi-retired so we are looking to fill our time by doing something we love. Looked after friends and family pets previously… the longest stint being a Victorian Bulldog that we looked after for 7 months! The wife and I are semi-retired. I’m 46 years old and she’s slightly older. Both fit and healthy and love animals and being outdoor and active. Fenced off back garden. Live in a fantastic rural area with plenty of countryside to explore. I’ve been walking 10 miles a day for 27 years as a postman, all weather, so your dog will be in for a treat.

About: I have always had or lived with a dog since living at home with my parents through to having one which my children grew up with and have had three dogs since then up until March 2025. I love the outdoors and miss not having a doggy companion on my walks. I am very flexible with availability as I work from home on a part time basis . I am confident with dogs and happy to follow any ongoing training and routines that may be in place for your dog. I currently work from home on a part time basis with flexible hours Monday -Friday So can work pet care around my work to suit most needs . I have an enclosed fenced back garden for your dogs playing time and toileting needs I have a conservatory which looks onto the garden for your dogs bed / basket and resting time between play time and walks. Your dog would have access to all areas of the house apart from the bedrooms .

About: I have always had a pet in my home, whilst growing up I have cared for both dogs and cats and have had my two cats for 18 years as i’ve grown up learning how to care for them. I have also stepped in for any family or friend who has needed animal care whilst away. I have just finished my studies at university and currently have a lot of free time that i can put towards petting sitting and care. I provide a friendly and loving environment in either home and take precautions to make sure every pet is happy and safe under my care.

“Carol always looked after Tillie my previous elderly Staffie wonderfully so I knew Elsa was in good hands. She is a nervous elderly rescue Staffie and quite anxious in the outside world. It was her first visit and, as always, Carol was kind, understanding and patient with her - lots of love and attention and reassurance on her walks. Environments are kept calm, clean and secure, with careful management of doors, gates and lead protocols. When dogs board with me, they enjoy a securely fenced garden with space to roam, and access to nearby green spaces, fields and woodland for safe, enriching walks. I’m experienced with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, including reactive dogs, and use calm, positive handling to help every pet feel settled and secure. I’m also comfortable caring for older dogs and dogs who prefer a gentler pace. Your dog’s safety and wellbeing will always come first, and I’m happy to follow their normal feeding, walking and care routines closely. I’ll also send regular photos and updates so you can relax knowing they’re happy and well cared for. My schedule is flexible, which allows me plenty of time to give your dog the attention and care they need. I’m available for regular or occasional walks, drop-in visits, doggy day care and overnight boarding. I’m happy to work around your dog’s existing routine wherever possible, including their usual walk, meal and rest times. I live with my partner Joe, who loves animals too and may occasionally help me with pets staying in our home. He is registered with Rover as an additional caretaker so your pet is always in safe hands. I have a secure, fenced garden and two friendly small dogs of my own. Any visiting dog would be introduced to them carefully, and I’m very happy to arrange a meet and greet beforehand to make sure everyone is comfortable. I’ll follow your dog’s normal feeding, walking and sleeping routines and any specific care instructions you provide. Dogs in mine and Joe’s care will receive plenty of attention and will always be treated as part of the family.

About: Our lives truly revolve around dogs, and we wouldn't have it any other way! I am the proud parent of two incredible girls who bring absolute joy to our home: Penny, who I’ve raised and loved since she was a tiny puppy (she’s now nearly 6!), and Pearl, a beautiful soul we rescued in August 2025. Caring for them has given me deep, hands-on experience with different stages of a dog's life, from navigating the energetic puppy years with Penny to providing the patient, nurturing, and gentle care needed to help a rescue like Pearl blossom. Both of our girls are incredibly playful, and our household is entirely set up for fun, safety, and endless affection. When your pup stays with us, they won't just be 'looked after', they will be welcomed as part of the family, showered with attention, and given the exact same high standard of love and care that we give our own girls every single day. Because I work full-time from home and my partner is a firefighter working shift patterns, our house is rarely empty and we are fully available for boarding and sitting all week long! Dog care isn't something we squeeze into our day, it is the foundation of our daily routine. Your dog will seamlessly step into the structured, loving schedule we maintain for our two girls. A typical day here includes: Exercise: At least two dedicated walks a day to keep everyone happy and active. We live in a rural area surrounded by fields and long walks. Routine: Set breakfast and tea times, along with constant access to fresh water. Regular Breaks: Toilet breaks are given at least every 2 hours throughout the day. Since I am home all day, your pup will have constant companionship, regular stretches, and plenty of attention right alongside Penny and Pearl. Safety, comfort, and peace of mind are our top priorities. We have a large, fully fenced, and secure garden where dogs can play safely. Our kitchen and dining area features large bi-fold doors that look out onto the garden; when the weather permits, we love to leave these wide open to give the dogs complete freedom to roam between the house and the fresh air. We understand that every dog has different needs when it comes to feeling secure. Our home is spacious enough to accommodate your dog's specific habits, and I am more than happy to crate your dog whenever necessary for their comfort, meal times, or bedtime routine. With two friendly resident dogs and a highly secure, supervised environment, your fur baby will be safe, happy, and entirely at ease.

About: I have been rescuing and caring for dogs since I was a young child, so animal care is second nature to me. Currently, our home is shared with our well-trained dog, Bonnie, and our sweet cat, Luna. Because I’ve raised my children to respect and properly care for animals from an early age, our entire household is calm, attentive, and welcoming. We keep an active schedule with 2 to 3 walks a day for Bonnie, ensuring any guest dog gets plenty of exercise, structure, and love. Whether your pet needs high energy outdoor time or gentle daily care, they’ll be treated like part of our family. As a school teacher currently on school holidays, my schedule is completely open and dedicated full time to pet care! I am at home all day, which allows me to offer round the clock supervision, flexible walk times, and constant companionship. During term time, I am available outside school hours and on weekends for walks, drop ins, and boarding. Safety and comfort are my top priorities. My home features a secure garden, and I share it with my well trained, friendly dog, Bonnie, and our cat, Luna. Having raised my children to be respectful and gentle with animals, our home provides a calm, safe environment for guest pets. We stick closely to your pet's routine, ensure secure leash walks, and can easily accommodate crating or specific care needs.

About: I'm insured and licensed dog boarder. I stay at home most time and looking after dogs is my main job. I absolutely love spoiled pets and welcome any requests for special care. I drive my own car- It makes me flexible with times and always available in case of emergency, I can also offer pick up and drop off if needed. I have a lot of experience and understanding for our 4legged friends, I'm also trained to provide first aid. You'll be updated with pictures or videos every day when you're away! My house is situated next to the woods, where we go walking twice a day. Length of the walk will be adjusted to the dogs energy level and preferences. I have a spacious fenced garden where we spend a lot of time on sunny days. In case of rain, dogs will be let out every 2-4 hours.
