About: I used to work on a farm looking after sheep goats sheepdogs and much more. I am a foster carer and my husband is a lorry driver and we are fully DBS checked. We have our birth child and a foster child. I am home pretty much most of the time. We have a nice safe enclosed garden that is perfect for the dogs to run around in. We have a good size house. I recently lost my dog that I have had for 15 years. She lived a good long life travelling different countries and going on all of my adventures. My family and I are very big animal lovers In our free time we will go to the animal shelter and take the dogs out for walks. We have cared for friend and family members animals in the past. As a foster carer I'm home most of the day. Our dog age 4 will go on 2 to 3 walks a day depending on weather. Our pets sleep on the sofa or in our bedroom. We treat our pets like our children. There will be safe guarding in place. Our children are pet friendly At 1am pinko goes the the toilet. At 630 the garden door is opened and it stays opened all day when we are home so the dogs can come and go as they please. First walk 9.30 for an hour. Around 14.00 ten minutes walk on the Fields across the road from me. Then evening 18.00 a 30 minutes walk. Bedtime so last toilet break about 22.00. I have a fenced garden. I have a medium-sized dog; she doesn't use a crate, but if you have a crate and wish your pup to use it, we can accommodate.

About: I am a qualified dog grooming teacher with over 10 years’ experience in training individuals to become skilled, compassionate, and responsible groomers. My teaching goes far beyond coat care — I focus on the overall health and wellbeing of dogs, ensuring learners understand how grooming plays a vital role in early detection of health issues such as skin conditions, parasites, ear infections, and behavioural concerns. I also teach safe handling, salon hygiene, first aid, and client communication, preparing learners for both employment and running their own grooming businesses. A key part of my teaching is upholding and promoting the Five Animal Welfare Needs as outlined in the Animal Welfare Act. I ensure the learners understand how to create a safe, low-stress environment for each dog, and how to respect their emotional and physical needs throughout the grooming process. This includes recognising stress signals, understanding behavioural needs, and always grooming in a way that protects dogs from pain, suffering, injury, or disease. Over the years, I’ve proudly trained hundreds of groomers, many of whom have gone on to build successful careers. I’m passionate about raising standards in the grooming industry and believe that excellent grooming begins with knowledge, compassion, and respect for animal welfare. Dogs are able to travel to work with me and are in my care all day. They are regularly taken out for rest breaks whilst at work. They have access to fresh clean water and are walked often. During the school holidays I am at home with the dogs all day. My garden is completely secure, it is fenced off around both sides and I have a garage at the other side that is connected to my house. Dogs will also have their own safe place to go and relax.

About: I have always been around dogs from been a young child, My family have always had dogs ranging from large to small. I am currently enrolled on a dog training course which is due to begin in the next few weeks. I also dog walk with local dog walking groups every week and look after my friend and family's dog (Again, large and small). I enjoy learning about each breed and there quirks and I am able to behave consistently with a dog who may require more of this approach . I am currently a full time parent to a SEN child, so around school hours my time is spent caring for my little one. I like to be out walking during the day as this helps calm my busy mind, I enjoy caring for animals as I find this so rewarding and been outdoors. I had to give up my career and looking after animals is one thing I thoroughly enjoy and take something from, other than been a mum! I have a fully enclosed garden, and close by my home is close access to fields and TPT where I enjoy walking. I have 1 small nurtured male Lhasa apso who is friendly and well behaved. Providing the dog is house trained, they would be allowed to roam my home freely (Unless otherwise requested). They would be treated in a home from home experience.

About: Myself and my daughter (Alicia) have been pet sitting and dog walking as a business for the last few years so have experience with many breeds of dog old and young. About: I regularly care for a friendly cocker spaniel, so it's important that your dog is comfortable around other dogs. I've been informally dog sitting for around two years now and I really enjoy it. I work an office job during the week, so I am available to help from Friday at 3pm until Sunday evening. I'm an active sitter and love a long outdoor adventure in all weathers. I'm just as happy to take a stroll on lead down my nearby lanes, engage in a game of fetch or have a cheeky snuggle on the sofa for the afternoon - sometimes its hard to tell who's having more fun :) Your dogs will be free to roam around the bungalow, which is based in a quiet cul de sac in Great Houghton. There are no rules to where they can go, they are free to enjoy beds, sofas and the small enclosed garden we have out the back of the bungalow. I will try to stick to your normal routines where possible and will of course send updates and photos as many times as you need, I want you to feel just as relaxed as your pet. I work Monday to Friday so I'm only available on weekends. I usually have a cocker spaniel on a Saturday so please only get in touch if your dog is comfortable around other dogs I'm in a quiet cul de sac with an enclosed garden. There are lots of fun walks near me in varying length. Animals that stay here are treated as members of the family and will be loved and cared for as you would your own :)

Love walking, love petting animals Cat is very placid and would be great, if the dog or cat is fine with cats.. looking forward to taking good care of your animal.. giving it lots of fuss and attention and nice walks. My cat is called kitty she’s a Turkish angoran and just loves sleeping a lot, and chilling out. She is totally fine with other animals.. We also used to have a Welsh cocker called scooby, who was very lively, and loved walking for miles...
