About: I am a qualified dog grooming teacher with over 10 years’ experience in training individuals to become skilled, compassionate, and responsible groomers. My teaching goes far beyond coat care — I focus on the overall health and wellbeing of dogs, ensuring learners understand how grooming plays a vital role in early detection of health issues such as skin conditions, parasites, ear infections, and behavioural concerns. I also teach safe handling, salon hygiene, first aid, and client communication, preparing learners for both employment and running their own grooming businesses. A key part of my teaching is upholding and promoting the Five Animal Welfare Needs as outlined in the Animal Welfare Act. I ensure the learners understand how to create a safe, low-stress environment for each dog, and how to respect their emotional and physical needs throughout the grooming process. This includes recognising stress signals, understanding behavioural needs, and always grooming in a way that protects dogs from pain, suffering, injury, or disease. Over the years, I’ve proudly trained hundreds of groomers, many of whom have gone on to build successful careers. I’m passionate about raising standards in the grooming industry and believe that excellent grooming begins with knowledge, compassion, and respect for animal welfare. Dogs are able to travel to work with me and are in my care all day. They are regularly taken out for rest breaks whilst at work. They have access to fresh clean water and are walked often. During the school holidays I am at home with the dogs all day. My garden is completely secure, it is fenced off around both sides and I have a garage at the other side that is connected to my house. Dogs will also have their own safe place to go and relax.

About: Myself and my daughter (Alicia) have been pet sitting and dog walking as a business for the last few years so have experience with many breeds of dog old and young. We can administer medication and will adapt our schedule to your pet’s needs. We have both owned pets of our lives and are happy to look after any pets large or small from horses through to hamsters and everything in between. Pets have always been a big part of my life will make sure they are walked frequently and cared for at the highest standards very experienced with a variety of animals Will keep routines as close to the owners as possible so will be treated as our own. We have 2 cats and guinea pigs which will be kept separate from your own.

About: I have grown up with dogs all my life. During this time I have helped foster rescue dogs as well as boarding and walking dogs. I work from home full time so your dog will never be left for long periods of time. I love going out for long walks mornings and evening and will adjust to fit your dogs needs. My dog is on a variety of different medications so happy administering this and keeping track of medication. I have experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes and different breeds. I work from home full time and can walk dogs in morning on my dinner break as well as after work, I am happy to walk your dog suited to their needs. Living close to a field and woods there is plenty of walks and places for us to go explore My dog has full access to the whole house and the back door is always open so the dogs can go in and out the garden as they please. The garden is a decent sized with fences on all sides.

About: At Follow my Lead, safety is my top priority. I am DBS checked, trained in Canine First Aid including CPR and have also completed a Dog Behaviour and Training Course. I take a maximum of 3 dogs per walk to give each one the attention and care they deserve. Licensed with Barnsley council to provide 4* Home Boarding care. I have had dogs my entire life of all shapes and sizes. I have my own cocker spaniel at home who is very friendly. Looking after dogs is my passion and my full time job. I do a maximum of 3 x 1hr walks a day and boarded dogs often come with me. I offer a complete home from home environment where the dog can stretch out on the settee in the day and on the bed at night. If the dogs routine is to sleep in a crate then I accommodate to ensure they keep their routine. The dog will be shown lots of love and given lots of cuddles.
