Laura is absolutely lovely!! Our 14 year old cockapoo is such a home bird and can get really nervous when we aren’t there but Laura made her feel really settled and by the sounds our doggy had a great time, she came home happy and content!! She updated us and sent us pictures which we really appreciated! Libby is looking forward to her next stay with Laura 🤩

About: I have always been around dogs from been a young child, My family have always had dogs ranging from large to small. I am currently enrolled on a dog training course which is due to begin in the next few weeks. I also dog walk with local dog walking groups every week and look after my friend and family's dog (Again, large and small). I enjoy learning about each breed and there quirks and I am able to behave consistently with a dog who may require more of this approach . I am currently a full time parent to a SEN child, so around school hours my time is spent caring for my little one. I like to be out walking during the day as this helps calm my busy mind, I enjoy caring for animals as I find this so rewarding and been outdoors. I had to give up my career and looking after animals is one thing I thoroughly enjoy and take something from, other than been a mum! I have a fully enclosed garden, and close by my home is close access to fields and TPT where I enjoy walking. I have 1 small nurtured male Lhasa apso who is friendly and well behaved. Providing the dog is house trained, they would be allowed to roam my home freely (Unless otherwise requested). They would be treated in a home from home experience.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We can’t recommend Amy enough! They were absolutely amazing with our energetic cocker spaniel puppy, Rocko. From the moment we dropped him off, it was clear he was in great hands. They went above and beyond to make sure he was happy, entertained, and well cared for — plenty of walks, playtime, and cuddles! We got regular updates and photos, and Rocko looked like he was having the time of his life. He came home tired, happy, and clearly adored his stay. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our little whirlwind! 🐾

Great Houghton, S72

About: I've been informally dog sitting for around two years now and I really enjoy it. I work an office job during the week, so I am available to help from Friday at 3pm until Sunday evening. I'm an active sitter and love a long outdoor adventure in all weathers. I'm just as happy to take a stroll on lead down my nearby lanes, engage in a game of fetch or have a cheeky snuggle on the sofa for the afternoon - sometimes its hard to tell who's having more fun :) Your dogs will be free to roam around the bungalow, which is based in a quiet cul de sac in Great Houghton. There are no rules to where they can go, they are free to enjoy beds, sofas and the small enclosed garden we have out the back of the bungalow. One thing to mention is I regularly care for a friendly cocker spaniel, so it's important that your dog is comfortable around other dogs. I will try to stick to your normal routines where possible and will of course send updates and photos as many times as you need, I want you to feel just as relaxed as your pet. I am currently building my portfolio so rates and are good - perfect moment to get in touch if you're looking for a regular sitter while you enjoy a weekend away! I work part time as a support worker on Tuesday afternoons and I also work freelance as an accountant. I have plenty of time around that to give your pets my full attention :) I'm in a quiet cul de sac with an enclosed garden. There are lots of fun walks near me in varying length. Animals that stay here are treated as members of the family and will be loved and cared for as you would your own :)

Maria was great with communication and we left our dog in good hands for 12 days with Maria when we went abroad for a family holiday. We had the opportunity to meet Maria and her dog Bambi at their home before making the booking to ensure it was a good fit for both sides and to discuss any concerns. Received plenty of photos and updates and on returning home our boy is very happy and has been well looked after, definitely recommend and will use Marias services again if needed

Billie-Ann looked after my cat, Bobsi, for a week, and I couldn't be happier with the care she provided. She visited our home every day to care for her, and it was clear from the start that she genuinely cared about Bobsi's wellbeing. Bobsi took to Billie-Ann straight away and clearly enjoyed her company. Throughout the week, she was happy, relaxed, and content during Billie-Ann's visits. It gave me great peace of mind knowing that Bobsi was receiving such attentive and loving care while I was away. Billie-Ann was reliable, caring, and communicative throughout. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter. Thank you, Billie-Ann, for taking such wonderful care of Bobsi!

About: I have a little pet care experience, watching over my friends cats Nelson and Dorito for a couple times. My family also had a German shepherd I used to look after. Fury friends always make me smile whenever I see them on the walk, and I dream about the day we’re going to welcome a dog to our home as well. I’m currently taking some time off work, so available most of the time during week and weekends as well, so gladly spend some quality time looking after your loved ones. I don’t have any pets, but your dog is going to be very loved by my family who adore pets as much as I do, if you need an over night stay.

About: Hi, I’m Chloe! ☺️ I’ve always had a huge passion for animals, and truly can’t think of anything better than spending my days with dogs! 🐾 I grew up surrounded by pups of all shapes and sizes — from Great Danes and Springer Spaniels to a cheeky little Jack Russell — so I know just how different (and special!) every dog’s personality can be. I live in Milton, Barnsley. This means I am super close to several large parks and miles of gorgeous countryside — the perfect spots for long or short walks, exploring, and getting all that happy energy out. Whether your pooch loves a good game of fetch or a steady countryside stroll, I’ll make sure they have the best time. Any dogs I look after are treated like my own — plenty of love, cuddles, and maybe a few too many treats! You can relax knowing your beloved companion is safe, happy, and being completely spoiled while you’re away. I love nothing more than spoiling your pooch - rest assured your baby will be treat like the prince or princess that they are whilst youre away! I will photograph/video & update everything we get up to so you feel like you are with us the whole time (unless you need a break!) 🐶💛 My prices vary and I am more than open to a discussion about pricing to what suits your needs! I have been walking dogs since I was 11 - My family had a springer spaniel and I used to walk him everywhere - he was so active and so am I - so we worked well! Since this, I have always enjoyed walking pooches. I lived in Leeds for 10 years and had a few regular dogs that I walked and looked after including a Cocker Spaniel, Staffie & Schnauzer. My Availability 🐾 I currently work Monday to Friday from 8:30-4PM - but my weekends are all about the dogs! 🐶💛 From Friday evening through Sunday night, I’m completely free to look after your pups and give them my full attention. Whether they love long countryside walks or just want to curl up on the sofa for snuggles, I’ve got them covered. I’m lucky to have lots of lovely walking routes nearby — perfect for getting some fresh air and tail wags in! And if your dog prefers a more relaxed vibe, they’re always welcome to make themselves at home and chill on the sofa with me. 🐕🛋️ Your dog’s safety and happiness are always my top priorities. I live in a cozy house with a large, secure garden — perfect for safe playtime and fresh air. Being in a rural area means we’re surrounded by peaceful countryside walks and quiet lanes, ideal for relaxed strolls or energetic adventures, depending on your pup’s personality. I take every precaution to make sure your furry friend feels comfortable, cared for, and safe at all times. You can count on regular updates, plenty of photos, and complete peace of mind knowing your dog is in loving, responsible hands. 💛

About: I’ve had cats throughout different stages of my life, and most recently I raised a kitten from 8 weeks old who’s now a happy, confident 2‑year‑old. When I moved back home, he went to live with my sister but I was his main person from day one. From litter training and feeding routines to playtime and building trust, I’ve had hands‑on experience with the full journey from kitten to adult cat. I’m comfortable with shy, independent cats as well as affectionate, social ones, and I always take the time to understand what each cat needs to feel safe and settled.

About: I have hands-on experience caring for a wide range of pets, including dogs, cats, small animals, and puppies. My background in education has taught me to be patient, observant, and highly attentive—qualities that translate directly into excellent pet care. I’m confident handling energetic pets who need active engagement as well as calmer or senior animals who require a gentler, more structured routine. What sets me apart from other sitters is my combination of reliability, genuine affection for animals, and strong communication skills. I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and stimulated while keeping owners updated with regular photos and messages. I’m experienced with basic puppy training, reinforcing positive behaviours, and maintaining consistent routines. I’m also comfortable supporting senior pets with slower-paced walks, medication reminders, and extra care when needed. My goal is always to make your pet’s time with me feel like a second home—safe, fun, and full of love. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I have plenty of availability and genuinely enjoy spending my time with animals. I’m flexible with scheduling and able to accommodate daytime, evening, and weekend bookings, which allows me to adapt to each pet’s needs and routine. Whether it's regular walks, drop-in visits, or longer stays, I’m able to give pets consistent attention, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. I plan my schedule around the pets in my care, making sure they’re never rushed and always get the time, patience, and engagement they deserve. Safety and trust are my top priorities whenever I care for someone’s pet. Whether I’m looking after them in my home or in the owner’s home, I create a calm, structured, and secure environment so pets feel comfortable and owners feel confident. In a pet owner’s home, I follow all routines exactly as instructed—feeding schedules, walk times, house rules, and any special needs. I make sure doors and gates are always properly secured, keep a close eye on the pet’s behaviour, and maintain a clean, tidy environment. I respect the owner’s space and ensure their home is left just as I found it. I also provide regular updates so owners always know how their pet is doing.

Marie and her partner did an amazing job coming round our house and looking after our 3 cats whilst we were away on holiday. One of our cats is very skittish around new people and even she was comfortable around Marie which means a lot! Marie played with our cats every visit, emptied litter trays, made sure they were fed, and gave them lots of dreamies too! I could not recommend Marie enough!

About: I used to work on a farm looking after sheep goats sheepdogs and much more. I am a foster carer and my husband is a lorry driver and we are fully DBS checked. We have our birth child and a foster child. I am home pretty much most of the time. We have a nice safe enclosed garden that is perfect for the dogs to run around in. We have a good size house. I recently lost my dog that I have had for 15 years. She lived a good long life travelling different countries and going on all of my adventures. My family and I are very big animal lovers In our free time we will go to the animal shelter and take the dogs out for walks. We have cared for friend and family members animals in the past. As a foster carer I'm home most of the day. Our dog age 4 will go on 2 to 3 walks a day depending on weather. Our pets sleep on the sofa or in our bedroom. We treat our pets like our children. There will be safe guarding in place. Our children are pet friendly At 1am pinko goes the the toilet. At 630 the garden door is opened and it stays opened all day when we are home so the dogs can come and go as they please. First walk 9.30 for an hour. Around 14.00 ten minutes walk on the Fields across the road from me. Then evening 18.00 a 30 minutes walk. Bedtime so last toilet break about 22.00. I have a fenced garden. I have a medium-sized dog; she doesn't use a crate, but if you have a crate and wish your pup to use it, we can accommodate.

About: I am a qualified dog grooming teacher with over 10 years’ experience in training individuals to become skilled, compassionate, and responsible groomers. My teaching goes far beyond coat care — I focus on the overall health and wellbeing of dogs, ensuring learners understand how grooming plays a vital role in early detection of health issues such as skin conditions, parasites, ear infections, and behavioural concerns. I also teach safe handling, salon hygiene, first aid, and client communication, preparing learners for both employment and running their own grooming businesses. A key part of my teaching is upholding and promoting the Five Animal Welfare Needs as outlined in the Animal Welfare Act. I ensure the learners understand how to create a safe, low-stress environment for each dog, and how to respect their emotional and physical needs throughout the grooming process. This includes recognising stress signals, understanding behavioural needs, and always grooming in a way that protects dogs from pain, suffering, injury, or disease. Over the years, I’ve proudly trained hundreds of groomers, many of whom have gone on to build successful careers. I’m passionate about raising standards in the grooming industry and believe that excellent grooming begins with knowledge, compassion, and respect for animal welfare. Dogs are able to travel to work with me and are in my care all day. They are regularly taken out for rest breaks whilst at work. They have access to fresh clean water and are walked often. During the school holidays I am at home with the dogs all day. My garden is completely secure, it is fenced off around both sides and I have a garage at the other side that is connected to my house. Dogs will also have their own safe place to go and relax.

Obie has been to Millie’s twice now and really loves it there. When we pull up outside Obie scrambles as the car window in excitement. Millie looks after Obie well and is attentive to her needs and the situation on the day. I am disabled and would struggle to get out of the car to a front door so Millie has been really accommodating by coming out and taking Obie from the car. Will carry on using and recommend!

About: I've always had dogs in my life. I lost two elderly dogs last year and so badly miss having dogs . I dog sit for our friends dogs whenever possible, but would like to open our home to more. More cuddles, more walks, more mess and more craziness. If you have a dog who needs close attention and wants to feel secure, I can give that care. If your dog needs long walks, I would love that. Our two dogs became infirm when they were old. If you dog needs extra care as an elderly dog, I have the experience. I hold independent comprehensive dog-care insurance. I work part time from home. No routine as such, so I can fit around what your dog needs. Some days are quiet and other days include a long walk and play. We have a large, fenced, dog friendly garden which is completely secure. Your dog will have plenty of room, inside and out. Plus my bed to sleep on, if that is what they like.

About: I have grown up around dogs and have owned two dogs in the past, giving me a strong understanding of daily dog care, routines, and responsibilities. In addition, I have regularly looked after family and friends’ dogs while they are away, providing feeding, walking, companionship, and home-based care. About: I have forever loved animals, from worms and ladybugs, to my gerbils and guinea pigs and finally my big pup, Marley, who is a 1 year old staffy/cane corso with a LOT of energy and emotional disregulation! I have always had a big heart for capturing the unconditional bond between humans and creatures and I am excited to meet, get to know and love your pets! I am athletic, creative and love the outdoors, from my hobbies such as bouldering, crochet and camping to my chosen career path in music technology to recently becoming a scout leader. I have the energy and the passion to take great care of your furry friends as well as a flexible schedule that can fit around your pet needs. 🐞🧗‍♀️💗 I have recently finished college and will be starting university in September, while continuing to live at home which gives me a flexible and stable schedule. I also work a part-time job in retail, mainly Friday-Sunday but my timetable remains flexible around my shifts. During the week, I have plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, feedings, playtime and general pet-care. I am reliable, organised and able to adapt my schedule when it’s needed. I can also drive, allowing me to be able to travel easily, and be flexible with bookings and timings!! 🚙🐕💗 I have hands-on experience with different types of dogs and personalities. I own a young, adolescent, furry friend called Marley, who is a staffy-cane corso mix, and is very energetic and requires structure, supervision and crate sleeping, so I understand the importance of patience, consistency and managing high-energy dogs safely. I have also worked with much calmer dogs, such as Jack the Whippet - my boyfriend’s dog, who enjoys to lounge about all day and requires a much quieter routine. 🐕⭐️ When caring for pets in an owners home, I always try and keep them comfortable and stick to their usual routine as much as possible. I am happy to follow any instructions owners leave for feeding, walks, crate routines, training or anything else that helps their pet feel settled and happy!! 😊 During walks and drop-ins, I prioritise safety, staying aware of surroundings and making sure pets are comfortable and happy at all times! I understand that every pet is different and I adapt my approach to suit each furry friend’s personality, needs and energy levels!☺️🐈‍⬛

About: Hi, I’m a 34-year-old dog lover with a real passion for the outdoors and for seeing dogs truly happy and fulfilled. There’s nothing better to me than fresh air, long walks, and watching a pup’s tail wag with excitement. I believe every dog deserves not just exercise, but meaningful time outside where they can explore, sniff, play, and simply enjoy being a dog. I have six months of hands-on experience working with dogs, building confidence in handling different breeds, temperaments, and energy levels. I am also first aid trained, so your dog’s safety and wellbeing are always my top priority. You can feel reassured knowing they are in capable and caring hands. Looking ahead, I’m committed to expanding my professional qualifications. I plan to gain NASDU certifications in General Purpose (GP) and drug detection, as well as continue my studies to become a qualified behaviourist. I’m passionate about understanding dogs on a deeper level and constantly improving my knowledge and skills. My goal is to ensure they feel safe, stimulated, fulfilled, and loved every single time we’re out together. 🐾 I am happy to be available full time 7 days a week. 💛

Kashia came to visit us before walking my dogs to see them and I thought this was lovely and very kind and thoughtful. Me and my husband were out of the country and knowing she was very thorough made us feel at ease. Every walk we had pictures to look at and a description of how they were and we felt like we knew what they had been up to. Thank you

About: Hi I’m Chloe, I’m 21 years old and have been looking after dogs since I was 10 years old. I have one shih-poo called Lottie who lives with my mum and I love her to bits❤️. I also had a Westie X Maltese called Ellie who passed away at the good age of 13. She developed a tumour in her stomach which required intense care day and night with medication and strict diet. I used to take her out in a doggy pram with Lottie. I am often first port of call for my family and friends to look after their pets as I love dogs and caring for them💖. We currently do not have any pets in the house, however Lottie comes for a sleepover every now and then. Your fur-baby would be staying with my boyfriend and I and receive love and care from us both! Check out our Instagram or Facebook to see the happy stays: happyhoundselsecar I am a part-time student and also work full time, I work from home the majority of the time as my company allows me to work flexibly. My boyfriend also works from home, so you're pet will have 2 for 1 love and care❤️. We have a fenced garden and don't have any dogs living in my home. Lottie lives at my mums. She is chill and doesn’t mind any dog! I can crate your dog if needed and adjust to any needs that they may have to make them as comfortable as possible.

I sent a really last minute request for a dog walk for my 2 sheps for the same day due to being let down. Marie & her partner came at the requested time & were happy to oblige. I have a ring doorbell that I can check and my 2 looked so happy to have been on a walk with them both. Will definitely be using in the future. Thank you so much 🙏🏻

Having had a couple of negative experiences we were concerned to find a quality home boarder that we could trust. As soon as we met Leia and saw her interact with our 2 dogs we felt reassured. She asked the right questions and her love of dogs and experience shone through. She paid attention to keeping their familiar routine and gave lots of cuddles. It was helpful to get messages and photos during their stay. All in all a very positive experience both for the dogs and for us!

About: I have owned numerous dogs over the years and currently have 2 Labradors. I have taken care of my friends and families dogs when they go on holiday or if they are out for the day and need me to walk or feed their dogs I currently work part time and the time I’m not at work I spend at home or out and about with my 2 Labradors so your dog would just fit in with our daily adventures and routine I have a secure high fenced back garden which is accessed via French doors so your dog can come in and out as they wish. We have lovely off road walks around our area so plenty of adventuring for us to do. My dogs have the full run of my downstairs and are never left alone for longer than a couple of hours should I need to nip out.
