It got us out of a hole whilst we were on our holiday as we wouldnt have been able to go on our dayout (no dogs allowed). “Joanna was absolutely fantastic with Millie we couldn't have found anyone better to look after her. Joanna came a week before our party and took Millie for a walk and she loved Joanna from the start, she really knows dogs and understands them. On the day of our party Joanna came on time to pick her up, she took her up into the town and the park, Joanna even took some photo's of her and had two printed off for us. She has undoubtedly gone over and above to make us feel relaxed ( it was the first time we have left her with anyone) and for making an enjoyable day for Millie. No question about it we will use Joanna for more parties. X”

About: I have grown up with dogs and have always loved being around them. Honestly, I probably like dogs more than humans. Dogs have always been a big part of my life, so looking after them feels natural and enjoyable to me. Back at my mum’s home, we have a Beagle, and I also have a Cockapoo. I understand that every dog has their own personality, habits and routine, and I’m happy to give them the attention, patience and care they need. My children would love for us to have another dog, but before making that commitment, I thought it would be lovely to spend more time with dogs through pet sitting. I’m therefore looking forward to welcoming another furry friend to play with, go for walks and keep company. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playing, giving plenty of cuddles and following your pet’s normal routine and instructions. I’m also happy to spend extra time with dogs who need companionship or reassurance while their owners are away. Most importantly, I will treat your dog as if they were part of my own family. About: We are a friendly, reliable couple with a genuine love of dogs, animals and the outdoors. With three dogs of our own, dogs are very much part of our everyday lives, and we understand how important it is to find someone you can genuinely trust with a much-loved member of your family. Alongside our practical experience, Shirley holds a Canine Communication Diploma, awarded with Distinction by the Centre of Excellence. This complements our hands-on experience and helps us to understand canine communication, behaviour and the individual ways dogs express themselves. We also prefer focusing on giving dogs stimulating outdoor experiences rather than simply a quick walk around the block. We love the outdoors and enjoy giving dogs opportunities to walk, explore, sniff and enjoy plenty of enrichment. We are also fortunate to have access to private fields giving us fantastic opportunities for outdoor exercise and enrichment, whilst also providing indoor and outdoor spaces to cater for a better environment for any lovable pet and their individual needs. Having two of us means there is plenty of opportunity for companionship, supervision and individual attention. We understand that every dog is different — from energetic adventurers to older dogs who simply enjoy a gentle wander and plenty of affection — and we adapt our approach accordingly. We are also developing dedicated indoor and outdoor areas so dogs can have appropriate spaces for activity, rest and relaxation. We will always follow your instructions regarding feeding, walking, leads, routines, interaction with other dogs and any individual requirements. We never assume that because something is suitable for one dog it will be suitable for another. As we have dogs ourselves, introductions and compatibility are important to us. We want every dog in our care — including our own — to feel safe and comfortable. We are happy to discuss this fully and arrange an introduction before a stay where appropriate. We will provide responsible supervision, plenty of attention and a calm, caring environment, with your dog's welfare always coming first.

About: I have taken care of many of my friends dogs whilst they go on holiday(s) over the last 5 years. This has included two beautiful, high energy spaniels and older Dachshunds. I work from home and have a spaniel myself so I’m constantly out and about making sure they have the best day. I wake up around 5.45 on week days and take George (my spaniel) on a nice 5k walk along the canal. I work from home so will get my morning meetings out of the way, let George out in the back yard in between. I usually walk to the local park at lunch which is around 2.5k round trip. And after work, depending on what I have planned we usually are out and about places. Quick walk around the block just before we go to bed. I have a fenced yard. Plenty of room in the kitchen to keep a cage. A ring camera that overlooks into the kitchen for if I need to nip out to the shops. And George is the most loving companion, he has been so socialised since I’ve had him that he loves having other dogs over for sleepovers.

About: I have loved dogs since I can remember and cannot pass one on the street without stopping to say hello. I am also now thinking I would like to work with them for a living so currently undertaking some training courses to help me to do that. Have had dogs from puppies and dog sat for several friends and family. I could provide references if desired. Please note : when I have put 20 years experience , I am meaning that's how long I have had dogs I am currently WFH 5 days a week on a very flexible schedule. I would walk your dog separate to mine during the week but walk them all together on a Sunday due to having access to a bigger car for walk location variation. Dependant on the weather as to how much time I would be in the garden with them (wouldn't be left unsupervised) but obviously regular toilet breaks are a given. I have a safe enclosed garden and both neighbours also have dogs. My two are friendly with Molly (Westie) being more playful than Dora (PBGV). I have several dog beds in several rooms but the dogs can go where they please in the house including sofas. (I fit round them most of the time!) If you prefer them to be crated at night, please just let me know. My dogs tend to prefer to be in a room where someone is but are free to roam. There are dog seat belts in the back of the car if I were to take them anywhere for walks. Your dog will be fed separately to mine as Molly is cheeky and tries to steal food. I had 3 dogs but lost our beloved Whippet last year, but used to 3 dogs in the house.
