Louise and her partner looked after my local French Bulldog, Lilly, for a week while I was away on holiday. Lilly had never stayed away from home before, but they treated her like their own and made her feel so welcome and comfortable. In fact, Lilly didn’t even want to leave when I came to pick her up! I will definitely be using Louise and her partner again — 100%. Lilly has now made a new best friend in Coco too. Highly recommend!
Our first time away as a family and we were dubious about putting Chewie in the kennels when I found this website. I would highly recommend Louise, Henri, Coco and family to look after your loving 🐕. We did a meet and greet a few weeks beforehand. They loved Chewie like he was their own dog, we got regular updates and pictures whilst we were away. Well worth it and will definitely be using Louise and family again. Not. As a paw rating 6 🐾 out of 5. Many thanks Steve Karen & Chewie.
Bruno had a week with Louise while we went on holiday. We were updated with pictures and could see how much he was enjoying himself. He had good long walks and loved playing with the family dog. He was treated as part of the family , which is important to us because Bruno is a big softie. Would recommend Louise 💯 thank you 🤩
Rico loved his holiday with Louise and her family. Lots of happy pictures were sent to me daily which made my day. Rico was very content and happy. The family dog cocoa was a lovely playmate for Rico. Thank you Louise and family for looking after Rico so well. Xx
We 100% will ask Louise to have our Bruno again! He absolutely loved spending time at Louise’s cosy home, he didn’t want to leave! Completely put our minds at ease, it’s hard to find someone you trust to look after your fur baby but as soon as I met Louise we knew Bruno would be absolutely fine in her hands! So caring and kind, thank you so much!!
Louise is professional, caring and genuinely passionate about dogs. She offers a meet and greet option and straight away we knew Alfie was in safe hands. It was a very easy and stress free process with great communication before hand and whilst we were away. She was also very flexible. Alfie loved his little vacation and it was nice for us to relax knowing he was well taken care of. Loved the photos she sent throughout his stay, it made us relax knowing he was in safe hands. I would highly recommend Louise and will definitely be using her again!

Schedule
I work from home four days a week, which means I’m around for most of the day to give dogs plenty of company, attention, and care. My daily routine naturally includes regular breaks for walks, playtime, and cuddles, so dogs staying with me enjoy a calm, structured day with lots of interaction. I start each morning with a walk and breakfast routine, followed by quiet time while I work, perfect for dogs who like to nap nearby or relax in a cosy spot. We go out again at lunchtime and in the evening for fresh air and exercise, adjusting walk lengths and pace to suit each dog’s needs. Evenings are generally relaxed and family-focused, so there’s always time for cuddles, enrichment activities, or just winding down together before bedtime. I plan my schedule carefully to ensure dogs in my care have consistent supervision and comfort, so their routine stays predictable and stress-free.

I live in a cosy, dog-friendly home in Rossendale with plenty of space for dogs to relax and feel comfortable. There’s a secure, fully enclosed garden for safe outdoor play, and we’re surrounded by beautiful walking routes — ideal for regular strolls and longer countryside adventures. Inside, dogs have access to a calm, relaxed environment where they can settle easily. Whether they prefer a quiet corner, a comfy bed by my desk while I work, or sofa cuddles in the evening, they’re treated like part of the family from the moment they arrive. I only ever welcome a small number of dogs at a time to ensure each one gets individual attention, affection, and a consistent routine. My home is kept clean, secure, and comfortable with no young children and no overcrowding so every dog can feel safe and content. Their wellbeing always comes first, and I work closely with owners to mirror their dog’s usual routine, diet, and care preferences. It’s truly a home-from-home environment, safe, calm and full of love. 🐾

A typical day
I try and make sure each day's activities are designed to balance fun and mental stimulation, with plenty of rest in between. I make sure to rotate walking routes daily for variety and excitement with lots of time for sniffs. I offer two walks per day as a minimum. Other activities include Fetch & retrieval games with balls, frisbees and other appropriate toys Scent games with treats as a reward 'Photo Day' - time to pose and say cheese for the camera, they love the attention and you will love the photos! Calm & Cozy time with warm beds, scratches and snuggles and for those pampered pooches or those who feel a little anxious, a calming massage.
