Home Full of Dog Lovers
My partner Tom and I have always loved dogs and have experience caring for a variety of breeds, including Golden Retrievers, Labradors, Jack Russells, Doodles and Doberman crosses. We regularly look after friends’ dogs, and we both grew up with dogs of our own—my Doberman-Labrador cross, Dexter, and Tom’s Shar Pei, Benson. We offer dog walking, drop-in visits and boarding, and enjoy tailoring each stay to suit the individual dog. We’re lucky to have a secure garden and fields just a couple of minutes from our home, so there are plenty of opportunities for walks, playtime and exploring. As both Tom and I work shifts, there are many days when we’re home for extended periods and able to give dogs lots of companionship and attention. We only accept bookings when we know we can provide the time and care each dog deserves. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, getting out and about or simply relaxing on the sofa, our aim is to make them feel safe, happy and part of the family while they’re with us.

Couldn't recommend enough - got lots of updates from then throughout the stay, they have access to secure fields so we're able to run the dog around. They clearly love and look after the dogs and I'm definitely going to use them again!
Mia and Tom have been absolutely amazing with our Bluey, we got photo updates to ensure he was safe and well looked after, we didn’t have to worry once! Even though he’s a puppy and can be full on 24/7 it seems like they was able to help him adapt in a new environment so quickly in such a short space of time, Will 100% use again! Mia and Tom did a great job looking after Toby. They were accommodating in arranging an initial meet and greet and both the drop-off and pick-up were super straightforward. We appreciated the pictures and updates that were sent across too. Would absolutely use them again
Fantastic hosts! Our dogs were made to feel at home right away and settled in from the off. We were kept up to date with some lovely photos of our dogs whilst they stayed over which was really nice. Would highly recommend!
Rudy had the best time with Mia & Tom! They sent us lots of pictures of him enjoying himself in their lovely home & out on walks! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend & we will definitely use them again in the future!
Our Staffie has just completed an 8-day stay with Mia and Tom, and we couldn’t have been happier with the care he received. We were provided with regular photos and updates on his wellbeing, which was very reassuring and showed us that he was being very well looked after. He certainly looked like he was having a ball in all the photos! We wouldn’t hesitate to use Mia and Tom again and would highly recommend them.

Schedule
As both Tom and I work shifts, our availability varies from week to week. We keep our calendars up to date and only accept bookings when we know we can give dogs the time and attention they deserve. Our shift patterns often mean we have full days at home, allowing us to provide regular walks, playtime and companionship throughout the day and night. We only have availability when we are not on shift. Our calendar is regularly updated. As we both work NHS shifts, we receive our rota in blocks, so you may notice future dates marked as unavailable. Once our shifts are confirmed, we update our calendar straight away and open up any dates we’re free.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog’s safety and wellbeing are our top priorities. We have a secure fenced garden and always follow the routine and instructions provided by owners, including feeding schedules, exercise requirements and any medications. We take the time to help dogs settle into their surroundings and ensure they feel safe and comfortable. We are happy to provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pet is being well cared for. We offer boarding, home visits and walks.
A typical day
A typical day will depend on your dog’s needs and personality, but there will be plenty of opportunities for exercise, play and relaxation. We are lucky to have fields just a couple of minutes from our home with access to beautiful walks around Rossendale. Dogs can enjoy walks, games of fetch in the garden, enrichment activities and lots of attention throughout the day. For dogs who enjoy getting out and about, we’re also happy to visit dog-friendly cafés or take them on local adventures. When it’s time to relax, there will always be space for them on them couch.
