It was quite a major thing for me to hire a cat sitter , but after having Grace sit, I wish I had done it years ago. Previously we have used high end kennels but our cat is getting old and always took time to settle back home again. On returning home this time we found our cat completely chilled and content . Grace had kept us up to date with updates and photos while we were away , and had given our cat all the love and attention she needed. She clearly loved her time with Grace. About: I have both had dogs since our childhood, and currently have two friendly cocker spaniels. All my dog experience has been from pups, I even acted as midwife for my next door neighbours bitch giving birth 3 years ago! My location has a large country park at the end of the street, and woodland behind me which I manage as a volunteer warden. I have a dog friendly rear garden and my cockers love drinking from the barrel water feature. I have very tolerant pets and they happily engage with other visiting dogs,and a previous neighbours cat. I have an engaging daily routine for them, so much so I'm convinced my dogs can tell the time, when their next activity is due. I am a stay at home foster-dad, and my wife works, sometimes from home. I volunteer in my local community woodlands, and other institutions throughout the day but I estimate our dogs are not at home for more than 3 hours alone. Apart from a clean and secure rear garden, my home is partitioned in such a way that a scared visitor could have seclusion if required. I do have a crate in the kitchen, and my dogs use it for privacy/ sleep ( door open). If your dog would be anxious at night, then I can keep my dogs upstairs with me or they can remain in the kitchen to keep their visitor company. Whichever works.

Our own dog Lucy sadly passed away in 2017 and we haven't had the pleasure of having our own baby since, so we like to put all that love and care into looking after other people's companions. I am experienced with senior dogs/cats and can administer medication if need be, as our poor girl needed a lot of care in her old age. I am also fully insured and covered for things such as accidents, illness, injuries and property/possession damage. I am passionate about animals and my love for them means I will do my utmost to ensure your fur baby is always in the best hands. I strive to consistently go above and beyond for you and your loyal companion and always treat your pets as though they were my own, which means lots of cuddles, treats and love. I understand the importance of trust and security and can assure you that your fur babies are in the best hands. If necessary, I can provide enrichment activities for anxious dogs, we have licky mats, and I can on request provide extra things if necessary, all designed to soothe an anxious dog. We also have plenty of toys and blankets for your dogs comfort. It'll be their home away from home! All dog related paraphernalia are thourgougly cleaned and disinfected daily. I live in a house with a fenced garden, so your dogs can have a potter whenever they want in a safe and secure environment, and live close to many beautiful walking areas and woodland which I'm sure the doggies will love and enjoy. They will be on their own little holiday! I am at home mostly all the time and I can therefore offer a lot of flexibility if necessary. I am available 7 days a week, but please ensure sufficient availability as sometimes the rover calendar doesn't reflect this due to glitches. As I work from home, I'm adaptable and therefore offer several services including house sitting/drop-ins for all kinds of species, walks and doggy daycare too. Whether I'm house sitting or boarding your pets at my own home, I will ensure to do whatever is necessary to maintain your pet's routine, including any medication, dietary requirements, emotional or physical triggers, sleeping arrangements, toilet needs, etc. My absolute favourite thing is drop ins, as I can then care for your babies in their home environment, and knowing I'm making a difference to their day is so rewarding! Whether it's dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters or even less conventional animals please get in touch and we can discuss your specific care needs. Our house is secure and we have a garden which is fenced. We do allow dogs on all furniture as I see them as part of the family. I am also willing to use a crate if that's what your dog would prefer but I'm more than happy to snuggle up with them. When I do drop ins and house sits, I will wholly respect your home and space and leave it exactly how I found it, and ensure to follow any and all care planes outlined by you so you can enjoy your time away stress free. I can also water your plants if need be or any other odds and ends that may need attending to whilst you are gone.

I am currently not working so I have a plenty of time for your pets looking forward to spending time with them, can’t wait to hug them! About: I have grown up with two Labradors, I now have a Rottweiler. I often look after family members dogs and walk my neighbours dogs when needed. I love teaching dogs new skills at any age! About: I’ve grown up around both dogs and cats my whole life, so being around animals has always just been part of me. My family have always had dogs, big and small, so I’m really comfortable with different breeds, personalities, and energy levels. I am unable to offer having pets in my home due to having pets of my own however, i am flexible and willing to cater to yours and your pets routine in their home.
About: Since I was young, I have been surrounded by a variety of different animals. In my household, we always had cats, and family and friends often had dogs and other animals that we would visit and sometimes sit for. I've always enjoyed the presence of animals and have always been drawn to them. I have a lot of personal experience with caring for animals - we've always had animals in our household ever since I was a baby, and I'm often called upon to see to my neighbour's ever-expanding fur family when she's away. This should give an idea of just how much animals are a big part of my life, and their wellbeing is my priority- your pet will be in great hands with me :) I have just gotten back on Rover. As I am a uni student, I work part-time, and have a dog of my own it is hard to give a definite list of available days and times, but if you message me to have a proper discussion then I will try to work around you and your schedule the best I can! :) I will not be offering dog sitting in my own home (due to having a reactive dog). About: I have often cared for doggies and cats of many kinds, for neighbours so walking, feeding, bathing and caring for them is something I have always enjoyed within my life. I am also looking to expand my experiences with different pets, and make more memories. I am currently a university student, at The University of Central Lancashire. I always have plenty of time to care for pets in the evenings, whether that be walking or caring for them for a set period of time. I am able to take on roles and accommodate them across Greater Manchester, due to having a student dorm in Preston and then my family home in Heywood. Although not having a pet myself currently, I did have a Yorkshire terrier who has unfortunately passed. Benji will always hold a place in my heart. My home and neighbourhood is very pet friendly. My home is large, with plenty space for pets to explore and not only my garden but many fields across the road where the pet may play.
