We couldn’t recommend Alison and her family enough to take care of your fur babies 🐾 We recently went away and it was the first time leaving our Walter 🐾 with a pet sitter. We of course was nervous and apprehensive. But I can’t stress enough how incredible Alison was and how easy she made it. Throughout our time away Alison reassured us, sent us pupdates and it was so obvious from the photos that Walter was receiving the love and attention he would have gotten at home (if not more) it really did put our mind and ease and allowed us to relax and enjoy the holiday. Walter is on a raw food diet (if you know, you know) which is something I was worried about it being a lot for whoever looked after him but again, it was no problem for Alison and Walter was able to get the same breakfast he gets at home (if that’s something you’re worried about) I would definitely recommend Alison and we will definitely be booking her again for our next trip away!

About: Hello! I’ve been around dogs my entire life, from tiny pups to big gentle giants. As an equestrian, I’ve always had a deep love for animals, and dogs have been a central part of that. I’ve competed in dog agility with my collies in the past, so I know the joy of training and teamwork. I’ve looked after family and friends’ dogs many times, and I’ve also had the responsibility of paid dog-sitting. Whether it’s daily walks, cuddles on the couch or making sure their tails are wagging while you’re away, I’ll treat your pup like part of my own family! At the moment, I’m between roles, which means I have plenty of flexibility in my schedule. I can easily fit in walks or care whenever your dog needs it. If my availability changes in the future, I’ll always be upfront and ensure we plan accordingly. Your dog will be in a comfortable and safe environment with me. We have a medium-sized fenced garden and we’re just a short walk away from a large park perfect for regular walks.

Holly has been amazing with Onyx, we did a meet and greet prior to his stay and I could see that he instantly felt at ease around Holly and I had no concerns about booking him in. Holly sent me regular pictures and kept me updated on what he was up to and when I picked him up I got a run down of how he had slept and felt at home which was lovely. I will definitely be booking in with Holly again.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember, growing up with dogs, cats and rabbits in the home. Since buying my first home, I now have two cats and a rabbit of my own, and I regularly look after my parents’ cockapoos and five cats when they go away. I’ve also cared for friends’ retrievers and have experience with a wide range of cat breeds and temperaments, including Ragamuffins, Birmans and Ragdolls as well as some gorgeous fun loving moggies :) I offer a calm, loving, cosy home environment with a large secure garden where dogs can safely run around and play. Visiting dogs are treated like part of the family and can make themselves comfortable around the house, whether they enjoy sofa cuddles, quiet time or garden zoomies. I can't wait to have a dog of my own in the future! I’m patient, reliable and happy to follow your pet’s usual routine, including feeding instructions, walks, playtime, medication where needed (having owned a disabled cat previously that required medication) and regular updates for owners. As I have my own cats and rabbit, they can be kept separate from visiting dogs and cats if needed, so everyone feels safe and settled. I'm 28 years old and currently a Masters student completing my dissertation so I will be at home all the time and I live with my partner who's a high-school teacher. I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust, and so I promise to care for them with kindness, attention and genuine love until you return to them. Ready to accept boarders, stay at your home wiht pets and offer dog walking if its close to my home. My current routine is ideal for pet care, as I’m home most of the week and love having animals around while I study. I’m currently at home throughout the week while completing my Master’s dissertation, so my schedule is very flexible and I’m able to give pets plenty of time, attention and company during the day. Because I’m home-based at the moment, your pet wouldn’t be left for long periods, and I can easily work around their usual routine — whether that includes feeding times, walks, playtime, garden breaks, medication, cuddles or quiet time. I also really enjoy getting out for local walks, so having a dog to care for fits perfectly with my lifestyle. I’m happy to build walks into the day depending on your dog’s energy levels and needs, whether they prefer a gentle stroll or something a little more active. If I go to the gym, I usually go very early in the morning around 5:30–6:00am, so it doesn’t take away from the time I can dedicate to looking after your pet but I can work this around the dog/cats routine. Overall, my routine is calm, flexible and home-based, which means I can offer a reliable and attentive environment for your animal while they’re in my care. I want every pet in my care to feel safe, settled and loved, whether they’re staying in my home or I’m visiting theirs. In my own home, I offer a calm, welcoming environment where pets can settle in at their own pace and be treated like part of the family. I have a large secure garden where dogs can enjoy fresh air, playtime and toilet breaks safely. Inside the house, pets are welcome to make themselves comfortable, whether they prefer being close by, relaxing in a quiet spot, or having space to themselves. I always follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding instructions, walks, medication, sleep arrangements and any specific rules or preferences from their owner. Because I have two cats and a rabbit of my own, I’m very mindful of introductions, boundaries and keeping animals safe. My own pets can be kept separate from visiting pets if needed, and I would always discuss this with owners beforehand to make sure the arrangement is suitable for everyone. I’m also happy to care for one or two dogs/cats at a time if needed or just look after one if that helps your pet feel more settled and gives you extra peace of mind. I take time to understand each animal’s personality, behaviour and needs before a booking, including how they are with other animals, whether they have any anxieties, allergies, medical needs or triggers, and what helps them feel calm. I believe in gentle, patient care and would never force interaction or rush a pet who needs time to adjust. Happy to have a call or meeting beforehand if that makes you feel more comfortable. If I’m caring for pets in an owner’s home, I treat the home with the same respect and care I would expect in my own. I’ll make sure pets are fed, checked, comforted and cared for properly, and I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos so owners know their pet is happy and well looked after.

5 star stay! Our labradoodle Barney has just had a wonderful time staying with Janet and Kevan for 12 nights. This was the first time Barney has been away from us for so long but we needn’t have worried, Janet kept us updated every day with wonderful photos and videos. He was taken on lots of walks and days out and kept very busy! We cannot recommend Janet and Kevan enough, highly professional, kind and caring, a real home away from home. Thank again so much for looking after Barney - he will be back ? xxx

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover with hands on experience caring for Labradors and other dogs with different personalities, energy levels and routines. I currently own a Labrador called Layla and have had Labradors in the past too, so I’m very comfortable with large breeds, energetic dogs and dogs that love plenty of exercise and attention. I’ve also volunteered with Guide Dogs, which gave me valuable experience around dog behaviour, structure, patience, consistency and handling dogs calmly in different environments. Alongside caring for my own dogs, I’ve regularly walked and boarded friends’ dogs, helping them settle into a comfortable routine away from home. I genuinely enjoy learning more about dog behaviour, enrichment, body language and building trust with each dog individually. I’m canine first aid trained, safety conscious and reliable and I’m happy caring for nervous, excitable, high energy or older dogs. I work from home, which means dogs staying with me get plenty of company, supervision, attention and care throughout the day and night. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and getting to know their personalities properly. I aim to create a calm, home from home environment where dogs feel comfortable, relaxed and part of the family. I work from home and already structure my day around caring for my own Labrador, Layla. Dogs staying with me get plenty of company, attention and supervision throughout the day and evening in a calm home environment. I’m able to provide regular toilet breaks, feeding routines, play, affection and multiple daily outings as part of a normal day rather than fitting them around a busy schedule. Boarding works especially well for me during evenings, weekends and holidays, and I’m happy to adapt to each dog’s usual routine to help them feel comfortable, relaxed and settled while staying away from home. Dogs staying in my home are cared for in a calm, safe and comfortable environment where they’re treated like part of the family. My home is clean, dog friendly and dog proofed, with a secure fenced garden for safe outdoor time, toilet breaks and play. Because I work from home, dogs get regular company, feeding, affection and multiple daily outings throughout the day. I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medication, sleeping arrangements and any specific instructions that help them feel comfortable and settled. Safety is very important to me, especially when introducing dogs or managing different personalities and energy levels. I take time to understand each dog individually, including temperament, behaviour, exercise needs and anything they may be anxious or reactive around. I’m canine first aid trained, safety conscious and experienced around larger breeds and energetic dogs. Regular photo and video updates will also be provided so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, safe and well cared for while you’re away.

She kept me regularly updated with messages and photos, it was great to see how much fun Shadow was having. It was clear Shadow was well cared for, with plenty of walks, attention, and a genuinely happy environment. You can tell Samantha really cares about the dogs she looks after, and Shadow came back relaxed and content. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Samantha again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog minder.

About: Your pets will get extra training, loads of playtime, cuddles and they'll come back more relaxed and happier than ever before. I'm ND, I understand animals and am more myself with them than people. Your pet will get all the love it could possibly get. Most of my weekly activities are flexible, I spend a lot of time outdoors usually with my dog. I'm not a fan of leaving my pet alone for too long. Luna usually goes on 2 main walks a day and inbetween short ones if I can. I have a fully enclosed back yard, with enough space to play, this makes up for my small house. There are plenty of parks and trails nearby too.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs, looked after family member’s dogs, and last year I got my Cavapoo, Milo, who I trained from being a puppy. I’m currently freelancing part-time, and work 100% from home. I have a 1 year old Cavapoo, so playtime, walks, and pet care are a normal part of my day! I have a safe, fenced garden for your dog to run around in, and I have plenty of dog toys for them to play with. About: Passionate about animals, especially cats and had cats since childhood, including Tennant, my current cat, named after a Doctor Who actor as I am a geek. In addition, done Animal Care Nursing assistant L2. Other hobbies are doing my freelance art work, gaming and going comic cons and geeky meet ups. Has recently got a DBS as helps out at a local Cub Scout group. I have had a dog previously for 5 years but due to my living situation, unable to get a dog. I am able to pick up their poo, give them play, give them adequate walks, administer meds and even bathe them. Best result is to give me instructions on paper. No current employment, other than freelance artist and volunteering with Cubs. Has a cat of my own. Able most days but would prefer to book in week advance. I sadly can’t let dogs and other animals stay at my place due to my tenant’s agreement. The safety I need to raise is, I can definitely accommodate for those with additional needs, including neurodivergence (autism, ADHD) and I am neurodivergent myself. Will ask you questions about the health and safety for best outcome for your pet and myself.

I had a fantastic experience with these dog sitters! They took such great care of Alfie, kept me updated throughout, and gave me total peace of mind while I was away. He was clearly well looked after and happy. Reliable, friendly, and clearly love what they do. I’ll definitely be using them again!

About: I have both had dogs since our childhood, and currently have two friendly cocker spaniels. All my dog experience has been from pups, I even acted as midwife for my next door neighbours bitch giving birth 3 years ago! My location has a large country park at the end of the street, and woodland behind me which I manage as a volunteer warden. I have a dog friendly rear garden and my cockers love drinking from the barrel water feature. I have very tolerant pets and they happily engage with other visiting dogs, and a previous neighbours cat. I have an engaging daily routine for them, so much so I'm convinced my dogs can tell the time, when their next activity is due. I am a stay at home foster-dad, and my wife works, sometimes from home. I volunteer in my local community woodlands, and other institutions throughout the day but I estimate our dogs are not at home for more than 3 hours alone. Apart from a clean and secure rear garden, my home is partitioned in such a way that a scared visitor could have seclusion if required. I do have a crate in the kitchen, and my dogs use it for privacy/ sleep ( door open). If your dog would be anxious at night, then I can keep my dogs upstairs with me or they can remain in the kitchen to keep their visitor company. Whichever works.

We will only be boarding two dogs at a time , along with our own dog who has been neutered and is a very happy chappy. About: I've had dogs my whole life big and small and have always walked and trained them. I do brain stimulating activitys like find the treat or puzzle feeders like kongs and lickmats. I live near a big park that I like to walk down and feed the ducks so depending on the dog going on walks is easily done. I have dog sat and looked after family and friends dogs since I was 14 ,some with medical problems that need daily treatment like tablets and skin cream. I have looked after a range of dogs from less active dogs and ones that need a good long walk. I would love to look after you fur baby's whether it's for an hour or a week🙂 I am currently not working so have all the time to spend with your dogs. I go on walks to get out and enjoy nature quite often. I like to go visit family aswell who only live a 20 minute walk down the road. I live in a flat so due to that I would only be able to sit 2 dogs at a time. But I have a bit of grass out the back and I also love right next to a massive country park. There are other dogs in the block but they are all friendly.

About: ***PLEASE READ: I also offer pet care services for small animals such as rats, hamsters, rabbits etc at a cost of £10 per enclosure. (E.g if there's several animals per enclosure it'll be a flat rate for all combined.). Free roam animals are also included in the flat rate. ***Please ensure any dogs coming to my home are up to date on any flea/worm treatments and vaccines.*** Hey there! My name is Holly and I live locally in Radcliffe with my mum who also love animals. I'm a huge animal lover, who adores all furry creatures. I've always felt an affinity with animals ever since I was a child and I have had lifelong experience with my own pets. I have also volunteered at a doggy daycare so I have plenty of experience. I have been doing Rover for three years, and pet sitting long before Rover existed. Our own dog Lucy sadly passed away in 2017 and we haven't had the pleasure of having our own baby since, so we like to put all that love and care into looking after other people's companions. I am experienced with senior dogs/cats and can administer medication if need be, as our poor girl needed a lot of care in her old age. I am also fully insured and covered for things such as accidents, illness, injuries and property/possession damage. I am passionate about animals and my love for them means I will do my utmost to ensure your fur baby is always in the best hands. I strive to consistently go above and beyond for you and your loyal companion and always treat your pets as though they were my own, which means lots of cuddles, treats and love. I understand the importance of trust and security and can assure you that your fur babies are in the best hands. If necessary, I can provide enrichment activities for anxious dogs, we have licky mats, and I can on request provide extra things if necessary, all designed to soothe an anxious dog. We also have plenty of toys and blankets for your dogs comfort. It'll be their home away from home! All dog related paraphernalia are thourgougly cleaned and disinfected daily. I live in a house with a fenced garden, so your dogs can have a potter whenever they want in a safe and secure environment, and live close to many beautiful walking areas and woodland which I'm sure the doggies will love and enjoy. They will be on their own little holiday! I am at home mostly all the time and I can therefore offer a lot of flexibility if necessary. I am available 7 days a week, but please ensure sufficient availability as sometimes the rover calendar doesn't reflect this due to glitches. My daycare hours for doggy daycare are 8:30am-6:30pm If you have read this far thank you! I appreciate your time. I hope to hear from you and your fur baby! As I work from home, I'm adaptable and therefore offer several services including house sitting/drop-ins for all kinds of species, walks and doggy daycare too. Whether I'm house sitting or boarding your pets at my own home, I will ensure to do whatever is necessary to maintain your pet's routine, including any medication, dietary requirements, emotional or physical triggers, sleeping arrangements, toilet needs, etc. My absolute favourite thing is drop ins, as I can then care for your babies in their home environment, and knowing I'm making a difference to their day is so rewarding! Whether it's dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters or even less conventional animals please get in touch and we can discuss your specific care needs. Our house is secure and we have a garden which is fenced. We do allow dogs on all furniture as I see them as part of the family. I am also willing to use a crate if that's what your dog would prefer but I'm more than happy to snuggle up with them. When I do drop ins and house sits, I will wholly respect your home and space and leave it exactly how I found it, and ensure to follow any and all care planes outlined by you so you can enjoy your time away stress free. I can also water your plants if need be or any other odds and ends that may need attending to whilst you are gone.

I'm a part-time bartender, but work flexible hours and days so can be completely flexible and will accommodate yours and your fur baby's needs as much as possible. I'm more than happy to keep you updated and send regular pictures! I know how difficult it can be being away from them! About: an experienced and passionate pet carer offering reliable, loving care for dogs of all shapes and sizes. I’m fully insured, DBS checked, and qualified in Level 3 Dog First Aid & CPR, so you can feel completely confident that your pet is in safe hands. My journey started with walking and sitting for neighbours and family, and quickly grew into a true passion for animal care and created my own buisness. Over time, I’ve worked with a wide range of breeds and temperaments, learning how to adapt to each dog’s unique personality and needs — from energetic pups to senior companions. What I love most about this work is building trust with both pets and their owners. I take time to get to know every dog I care for, making sure they feel relaxed, happy, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s a long walk, a cosy overnight stay, or regular visits, I’ll make sure your dog’s routine stays consistent and stress free. 🐶💛 Caring for pets is an essential part of my weekly routine, and it’s something I’m deeply passionate about. As a pet owner and professional, I know how important it is to keep pets happy, healthy, and engaged throughout the day. From daily dog walks to extended pet sitting sessions, my schedule revolves around making sure each pet gets the personalised attention they need. Whether it's an early morning walk, afternoon playtime, or evening cuddles, I dedicate time every day to ensuring your pets feel cared for, just as I would with my own When caring for pets in my home or in a pet owner's home, my top priority is making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved. In your home, I follow your pet’s routine closely, ensuring they receive the same care and attention they’re used to, from feeding schedules to playtime and cuddles. I treat every pet as if they were my own, offering plenty of affection and one-on-one interaction. When caring for pets in my own home, I create a calm and welcoming environment, providing ample space for them to play, relax, and feel at ease. Whether in your home or mine, I ensure pets are happy and well taken care of while you’re away.

About: Hi, I’m Abbie! My partner and I have a 13yr old Staffordshire Bull Terrier and I have grown up around dogs my whole life- so I am comfortable with a variety of breeds, sizes and temperaments (and absolutely adore them all). My experience: •I was a dog walker in Spain for over a year and volunteered at animal shelters working with cats and dogs • I did work experience at a doggy daycare in Bury • I hold a City & Guilds Lvl 2 Certificate of Competence in Dog Walking and Technical Certificate in Animal Care, Lvl 3 Technical Diploma in Animal Management, just completed my HND in Animal Behaviour, and I am currently doing my top up into a BsC in Wildlife Conservation and Zoo Science while I also volunteer at a wildlife rescue! This should give an idea of just how much animals are a big part of my life, and their wellbeing is my priority- your pet will be in great hands with me :) I have just gotten back on Rover. As I am a uni student, I work part-time, and have a dog of my own it is hard to give a definite list of available days and times, but if you message me to have a proper discussion then I will try to work around you and your schedule the best I can! :) I will not be offering dog sitting in my own home (due to having a reactive dog). However, I will happily do drop in visits to your home.

I can adapt my time to suit your pet’s routine and provide reliable care. About: I’ve grown up with dogs since age five, begging my mum for one and promising I’d pick up its poo! And I have extensive hands-on experience, including caring for up to four dogs at once. I’ve had 5 dogs in my 20 years lifetime so I’m confident handling different breeds and personalities and have trained my own bulldog to do cool tricks! I’m the biggest dog-lover, reliable, and treat every dog as if they’re my own :) I’m from Manchester, but am currently a uni student in London. So whenever I’m back home in Manchester from uni, I will be free anytime! I always make sure the dog is safe, and also trusts me when caring for other pets. I will closely follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, walks, and house rules, and make sure pets are supervised at all times. I keep doors and gates secure, use leads on walks unless instructed otherwise, and pay close attention to a dog’s behaviour and comfort. I maintain a calm, clean environment and make sure pets feel safe, settled, and well cared for, whether in my home or the owner’s home. I treat every pet with patience, respect, and the same care I give my own dogs.

About: My experience comes from having a German Shepherd and Rescue Newfoundland at Home watching my mum raise them from puppies. I have learnt and adapted the skills from her, enabling me to look after and cherish every single dog. I am currently at university away from home. At home, my dogs are a big part of my family routine from the morning to the evening even during my college and work days. From being fed, walked, brushed, played with. When my mum wasn’t there to look after them. It was my main priority. Pets thrive in their own environment when they are comfortable, they are going to miss their owners quite a fair bit. I usually just try to play with them, keep them company as always

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was a young child, I have had dogs all my life and started looking after other peoples pets at around 16, I have two of my own large rescue dogs that come with their own issues so I am well experienced with animals with nerves. I understand pets that are shy as I have looked after my aunties pets that struggle with anxiety and we have built a bond overtime. I have experience with slightly larger breeds such as male staffies and pit bulls as I have grown up with them since I was 7, I have also looked after puppies before (less than 1 years old, not less than a month old etc.) I am willing and capable to care of a young pup. I have looked after many cats and understand some are not as sociable, I am patient. I am no stranger to being nibbled by puppies and giving them extra play time / longer walks to tire them out, I also understand older dogs need a more relaxed approach. I have recently finished college and I have much more spare time, as such an animal enthusiast I figured this would be the perfect opportunity. I wake up early and complete daily chores around the house and feeding / walking my own pets. I also sell online so I will often be posting parcels, I am 18 with a full driving licence and my own vehicle so transport is no issue! I am available all throughout the day. I have been trusted multiple times with peoples house keys and being able to let myself in / lock up their homes to watch over their pets. Our garden is fenced off and pretty decent space wise, we also have toys at home that have never been touched as our dog is not interested, we have a large crate if necessary and other dog beds, we have a guest room that can be used for your pet. We always have treats and multiple water bowls available. The back garden is safe and we do not take the dogs on the front garden unless they are on a lead.
