🐾 ABOUT ME 🐾 - Hi! My name is Holly and I'm a lifelong animal lover based in Radcliffe. I live with my mum, who is also a huge animal lover, and together we love welcoming pets into our home and making them feel like part of the family. - I've had animals throughout my life and have many years of experience caring for other people's pets. I've been providing pet care through Rover for over three years, was pet sitting long before joining Rover, and have also volunteered at a doggy daycare. - Our own much-loved dog, Lucy, sadly passed away in 2017. We haven't had another dog of our own since, so being able to welcome other people's companions into our home is particularly special to us. There are currently no resident dogs in our home. - I'm also experienced in caring for senior dogs and cats. Having cared for Lucy extensively during her later years, I understand the extra patience, reassurance and individual attention that older pets can sometimes need. - I'm happy to administer routine medication where appropriate, but please discuss any medical requirements with me before booking so I can make sure I'm able to meet your pet's needs. -------------------- 🏡 A HOME AWAY FROM HOME 🏡 - My aim is to provide a relaxed, loving home-away-from-home environment rather than a kennel-style experience. - Every dog has their own personality and needs, so I take their usual routine, age, temperament and preferences into account while helping them settle comfortably into our home. Whether they're happiest having company, pottering around the garden, enjoying a walk or curling up for a snooze, I want them to feel safe, relaxed and cared for. - I live in a house with a secure, fully fenced garden, giving dogs plenty of opportunity for toilet breaks and a potter outside throughout the day. - We're also close to some lovely walking areas and woodland. Walks are tailored to each dog's age, health, energy levels and individual requirements. - Any dog-related equipment used during stays is cleaned and disinfected regularly. -------------------- 🕣 DOGGY DAYCARE & AVAILABILITY 🕣 - I'm available seven days a week, subject to availability, and can offer flexibility when it comes to dates and bookings. - My doggy daycare hours are 8:30am–6:30pm, with a maximum daycare stay of 10 hours. - Drop-off and collection times are agreed as part of the booking. Any subsequent changes to those times are subject to availability and cannot always be accommodated. - Please message me to confirm availability for the dates you require, as occasionally my Rover calendar may not accurately reflect my current availability. -------------------- 🐶 BEFORE YOUR FIRST BOOKING 🐶 - For new clients, I prefer to arrange a meet & greet before the first booking wherever possible. This gives us a chance to meet, allows your dog to become familiar with me and the environment, and helps us make sure they'll be happy and comfortable staying here. - For the health and safety of the animals in my care, all dogs coming into my home must be up to date with their vaccinations and appropriate flea and worm treatments. - Please tell me about your dog's temperament, routine, health and any behavioural concerns before booking. This includes things such as separation anxiety, reactivity, resource guarding, destructive behaviour or any difficulties around other animals or people. - Having additional needs doesn't necessarily mean I can't care for your dog – it's simply important that I have an accurate picture of their needs beforehand so I can decide whether my home environment is suitable for them. - Please provide your dog's usual food for their stay, together with any medication and other essentials they specifically require. - All bookings are subject to availability and suitability, as it's important that every pet I accept is a good fit for my home environment and that I'm confident I can provide the care they need. -------------------- 🏠 HOUSE SITTING 🏠 - I also offer house sitting in your own home, allowing your pets to remain comfortable in their familiar surroundings while you're away. I understand that some pets are much happier staying in their own environment, particularly those who are settled into their own routines. - During house sits, I'll take your pet's usual routine and individual needs into account and make sure they receive plenty of care, company and attention while you're away. I'll also treat your home with the same care and respect that I would my own. - My house-sitting service isn't limited to dogs and cats. I'm also happy to care for small animals such as rabbits, rats and hamsters alongside a house sit. - Small-animal care is charged at £10 per enclosure. If several animals share the same enclosure, the £10 charge covers them together rather than being charged per animal. Free-roaming small animals are also included within the flat rate. - Please let me know about all pets in the household and their usual care requirements when enquiring so that everything can be discussed and agreed before the booking. . -------------------- ❤️ FINALLY... ❤️ - I understand how much trust is involved in leaving a beloved pet in somebody else's care. I want owners to be able to go about their day or time away knowing their companion is being treated with kindness, patience and affection. - The animals who stay with us are welcomed into our home and treated with the same care and consideration we'd want for our own. - Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. This is our third long holiday sitting with Holly (there have been other shorter ones) and I don't know what we would do without her. We always know that they are in the safest hands - Holly loves them like they are her own, despite their funny ways. She sends loads of updates so we can see how happy and settled they are. They are always so happy to see her arrive and attach themselves to her immediately. We would not be comfortable leaving them with anyone else.
Holly is the best!!! She and her family recently looked after our dog Flynn and we are so grateful! Her constant updates made us feel really at ease and he enjoyed himself so much, thank you again Holly and family!!!
Third time booking with Holly; this time just for a day-sit rather than a holiday. The dogs were so pleased to see her and settled immediately; when we returned, they were cuddled up on the settees and very happy. We were later than expected and told Holly not to wait, but she insisted with staying with them for which we were very grateful. We wouldn't look to book our (rescue) boys in with anyone else

Schedule
As I work from home, I'm adaptable and therefore offer several services including house sitting/drop-ins for all kinds of species, walks and doggy daycare too. Whether I'm house sitting or boarding your pets at my own home, I will ensure to do whatever is necessary to maintain your pet's routine, including any medication, dietary requirements, emotional or physical triggers, sleeping arrangements, toilet needs, etc. My absolute favourite thing is drop ins, as I can then care for your babies in their home environment, and knowing I'm making a difference to their day is so rewarding! Whether it's dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters or even less conventional animals please get in touch and we can discuss your specific care needs.

Safety, trust & environment
Our house is secure and we have a garden which is fenced. We do allow dogs on all furniture as I see them as part of the family. I am also willing to use a crate if that's what your dog would prefer but I'm more than happy to snuggle up with them. When I do drop ins and house sits, I will wholly respect your home and space and leave it exactly how I found it, and ensure to follow any and all care planes outlined by you so you can enjoy your time away stress free. I can also water your plants if need be or any other odds and ends that may need attending to whilst you are gone.
A typical day
I adore walking and will always ensure your dog's tail wags from start to finish. We will go for long walks and maybe play some frisbee and fetch! I love to walk near Elton reservoir and on a sunny day it can really lift the spirits. Your dog will love investigating all the sights and smells of the neighbourhood, and of course, they will get all the attention, love, care and maybe even some treats! I also love a simple snuggle on the couch with the dogs and a film in the evening, there's not much better in life than furry, sometimes even slobbery cuddles!

During this meeting, we can address the following essential information: Basic Information: I would appreciate details about your pet's personality, including their preferred number of walks, likes and dislikes, favourite games and toys, as well as their on or off-lead preference. Behaviour Information: Please inform me of any specific dietary requirements your pet may have. Additionally, let me know how they typically get along with other pets and if they experience separation anxiety. Veterinary Clinic & Insurance: If applicable, kindly provide the name of your pet's veterinary clinic and any relevant insurance coverage. It is essential to know if your pet is up to date with vaccinations, flea, and worming treatments. Health & Medications: Please inform me about any allergies or ongoing medical treatments your pet requires. This will help me ensure their well-being during their time under my care. Training Needs and Additional Information: If there are any specific training needs or other important details that could contribute to your pet's comfort and happiness, please share them with me.
