We arranged a meet and greet first which immediately put our minds at ease and allowed Pippin and Barney to meet and make sure they got on ok. It was warm weather when Pippin was staying over and Beth had already planned out the stay to ensure Pippin was comfortable; including early morning and late evening walks to avoid the hot weather and also prepping some frozen goodies for them! “This was our first time using this service and we were not disappointed. We were greeted by Lis who helped us bring in the dogs and all their bowls, toys, beds etc. Lis kept us updated and sent us some lovely photos of the dogs during our weekend away. We felt very confident that the dogs were well cared for, walked and played with. On collection we had a full debrief of how they had been during the stay. We would recommend Lis, not only for longer stays but also she will do daytime dog walking. Excellent all round.”

About: I cat-sit for both of my sisters when they go on holiday. These range from young adults to elderly cats requiring daily medication. My sister once brought home a pregnant stray cat and I helped nurse her, and was present when she gave birth to 3 beautiful kittens. About: I've grown up with dogs ever since I was a baby. I currently have a 3 month old pup and two family dog who live with my mum (one of which is a lockdown pup) & they are my world. About: I have/had 2 dogs myself, both who I raised from puppies. The first was a very energetic and independent German Spitz. The second is a very chilled and sweet Chihuahua, who lives with me now and would be here to keep your dog company. I also lived with a council approved professional dog walker and sitter for a year, so I had plenty of experience with a range of dogs such as Cocker Spaniels and Cockapoos. I helped to walk and feed the dogs. I looked after a family friends rescue Husky for 6+ months whilst they travelled, and loved the extra walking and exploring (and all the snuggles). He came to us unable to be off lead and left us a confident dog who would walk at your side voluntarily. I believe every dog is different and every animal deserves respect. I will listen to your dogs needs and be considerate of what they want and your training schedule. Dog walking and sitting is my main work so I can be flexible to your dogs needs. I will be at home with your dog if choosing dog sitting or boarding. I live on a canal boat, so for boarding or day care your dog will be aboard the boat. The boat is very safe (it is the same as a small flat) and I will take the time to get your dog used to the boat. I live on a private marina so there are no people passing, it is very calm and quiet and dogs are on a lead when not on the boat. There are lots of fields nearby where I can walk the dogs.

About: Taken care of dogs for over 13 years.. cocker spaniels, labs, goldens retrievers and more. From playing, walking and just sitting with them, I love it. Looked after a couple of cats for 3 years whilst at uni too so happy to look after any furry friend. I'm currently managing a few health issues whilst finishing my university dissertation remotely and otherwise currently very much available to look after your pet! Week days and weekends are equally free for short or extended periods in my current circumstances so please reach out if you're after a sitter or just after someone to pop in to feed, let-out or walk your dog(s)/cat(s)!! Currently at home I'll feed, walk and pet Zoe (my dog). She's getting a bit old so I make sure to keep on top of her meds and keep the door into the garden open for her to roam freely if she needs the toilet or just a sniff and explore around the garden. If at other homes, I'll practice the same level of care and attention needed as well as plenty of walks whilst typing up my dissertation with any mini breaks I can find during their naps. I'm very outdoorsy so walking the dog(s) close to home or driving to be further a field in the hills or the beach to explore is all on the table :) Will find plenty of time for them as I can mostly work around other commitments at the moment.
About: I have looked after several friend and family members’ dogs and cats whilst they have gone away on holiday, either staying in their home or dropping in for visits. For the last 4 years I have volunteered at an animal assisted intervention organisation, which takes dogs and small animals to schools and hospitals for outreach visits. This involves assessing the animals body language, responding to their cues and ensuring they are relaxed and comfortable. I believe this would be a vital skill for looking after your pet. When I lived in Edinburgh, I worked with a charity that volunteers to walk people’s dogs who find it difficult to get out and keep their dog exercised. I love hiking, getting out in nature and seeing dogs enjoy the outdoors too. I volunteer on a Monday and Friday, for a full or half day depending on the week, however I have lunch free. Outreaches finish at 4 at the latest, so I would be available after this to feed, exercise or play with your pet, and stay overnight if needed. On other days, my commitments are small and take an hour or two out of my day at most. I am flexible - I can stay in your home full time, drop by for shorter periods, and/or stay overnight. Just detail what best suits you and I will endeavour to meet your pet’s needs.
About: Dogs have been a big part of my life since my dad started rescuing dogs from a shelter nearby. I have dealt with all kinds of dogs big or small, shy or confident. I have other family members who are dog mad and I have always been around to help them out whether that’s feeding, walking or just a drop in visit for a 20 minute play! I’m currently studying to become a teacher at Sheffield Hallam university. I also work part time on the weekends but my schedule is very flexible! I have a fenced back garden and no dogs currently in my house. I live nearby to lots of walks in parks or woodland therefore avoiding walking by the road and lots of lovely areas for your pup to explore!
About: I’ve spent most of my life around animals and have experience caring for a variety of pets, including two brother cats, a hamster, fish, and dogs. I currently have a Shih Tzu–Maltese cross named Charlie, whom I regularly take on walks. I make sure feeding routines, exercise, and care instructions are followed carefully, including administering treats responsibly where appropriate. I’m also confident managing dogs on walks, maintaining control in different environments, and adapting to each dog’s individual temperament and needs. If they get a little dirty, I’m happy to help clean and groom them using the resources available.
About: I have looked after serval dogs for the weekend and in the evenings and have a lot of experience. I have had 2 cats personally but unfortunately have now gone to heaven and a dog back at my hometown of Derby. She’s an old lady now but I trained her as a little puppy when we first got her. Work 9-5pm so can do Friday - Sunday for long stays and in the mornings/evenings for any walking or checking in on the little guys Our home is clean and very spacious. We have a garden and parks all around for walking and taking out for some fresh air. No children in the house.

About: I have a 5 year old labrodor that had from a puppy, joint custody of her. Always loved dogs and want what's best for them. I will be working a day job in the next coming weeks but have father at home full time also so we have a safe and comfortable place here that could help others. Always on walks with my dog so the company would be appreciated by all. Pets can be lile children but they can't talk so I always check om my pets, walks and toilets by the clock and just always keep on top of cleanliness check their always happy & healthy
About: I’ve taken care of a number of dogs and cats over the years as well as done drop in visits for exotic animals! I started off walking neighbours dogs alongside my family dog, as well as dropping in to feed animals and give them loads of love! I also have experience caring for animals with illnesses who need additional care and medication. I babysit in the evenings and clean early in the morning, but the rest of my day can be dedicated to caring for, walking, and looking after any animals :) I have my own indoor cat who I love dearly and is extremely spoiled!! About: I've always loved animals so much. They are my happy. I've grown up with German Shepherds my whole life. I've had my own horse for 15 years. I've looked after my families dogs whilst on holidays, walked out neighbours dog whilst she was recoving from hip surgery. I am taking some time off work and my husband is home based so we will always be home so your furry friend is never left alone without us. Our home is a big open plan kitchen diner, we have a fully enclosed garden which is around 100ft. We have a baby gate on the kitchen dog so they have the full run of downstairs. Both me and my husband are fully insured to walk, sit, drive, board your dogs. So we have added that extra peace of mind.

About: Ever since i was little i have always owned and been around dogs. I have always adored them and think they deserve the world. I have trained Border Collies from the puppy stage all the way to adulthood. It’s hard but hard work pays off! From lead training to obedience to recall. We’ve also had our own Jack Russells who can be hard to train as-well! They're both a working breed so require a lot more time put into them and their mind stimulated so I'm not afraid of hard work with your furry friends! Recently ive took the leap to make this my full time job along with my own dog walking business called Heathcotes Cloud K9 (on facebook and now on google) so will have plenty of time plus the weekend for your pets. We arranged a meet and greet first which immediately put our minds at ease and allowed Pippin and Barney to meet and make sure they got on ok. It was warm weather when Pippin was staying over and Beth had already planned out the stay to ensure Pippin was comfortable; including early morning and late evening walks to avoid the hot weather and also prepping some frozen goodies for them! “We have never needed to leave Maggie our Border Terrier with anyone but family and friends so we were nervous about using someone else but had absolutely no need to at all,Karen is just fantastic !!! Such a welcoming home from home for Maggie.Karen was so reassuring and has such a calmness about her. We did a visit and a walk first to meet her and her lovely dog Reggie before Maggie had her first sleepover. Karen sent several videos and photos over the 2 days ,totally reassuring us Maggie was absolutely fine and very happy....asleep on the sofa,playing on the bed and out for a walk. “This was our first time using this service and we were not disappointed. We were greeted by Lis who helped us bring in the dogs and all their bowls, toys, beds etc. Lis kept us updated and sent us some lovely photos of the dogs during our weekend away. We felt very confident that the dogs were well cared for, walked and played with. On collection we had a full debrief of how they had been during the stay. We would recommend Lis, not only for longer stays but also she will do daytime dog walking. Excellent all round.”
