“Lilly had her first sleepover with Louise and we received updates and pictures of how she was doing. This was great and we were reassured that she was having a good time. She was completely relaxed in Louise’s home enjoying lots of cuddles and we will definitely be booking again”

“It was our first time using Bianca and Chloe after a last-minute booking due to unforeseen circumstances, and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. They were both so welcoming, and from the moment I arrived and met their gorgeous and very friendly dog Otis, I knew Jess was in great hands. We got loads of updates throughout her stay with texts, photos and videos, which really put our minds at ease. Jess came home absolutely shattered from all the fun she’d had! We’ll definitely be using Bianca and Chloe again and couldn’t recommend them more! Thank you for taking such good care of our girl! 🥰”

“My dog went to caitlin for 2 nights earlier this week, after an initial meet and greet a few days before. She asked lots of questions to get as much information about cody before his stay, to get to know his routines, and to make it more comfortable for him. She provided updates with photos of him on walks etc and just chilling, reassuring me that he felt comfortable in their home and in their company. Would let him stay again.”

“Oppa just finished his 3rd home boarding with Michael. Within these 4 days, Michael always updates Oppa's status with us. He always eat well, play well, sleep well in Michael's. I believed that Michael did a really good job. Thats why he got loads of regular customer like us to put their pets with Michael while aboard. Thanks Michael, thank you for looking after Oppa! And thanks your slipper still ALIVE this time. LoL”

“Alice and family looked after Millie amazingly. We went on a long trip to America but in all the time we were there, we had absolutely no worries. Millie needed some medication and she made sure she got it on time with no issues whatsoever. It was lovely to see the pictures and videos of the lovely walks and cuddles and it was so nice to go away without worrying. We have no hesitation in booking with you again. Thank you Alice for looking after her so well!”

“Great experience with Lisa. Our Riley bounded off with hardly a look back when I dropped him off. Lisa couldn’t have made him more comfortable in her lovely home while we were away for two nights.”

“Such lovely caring people, our dog Ronnie has been so well cared for while we were away. Lots of updates and made our holiday all the more enjoyable knowing he was having the best time. Would absolutely recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“I can not thank Laura and Jay enough for looking after Millie. I was sent pictures and video of her stay and have to say, she looked like she was having so much fun. This was the first time I had left her with anyone, and I was nervous but I need not have been , as she was so well looked after. They are great people who I would highly recommend. There beautiful home is well situated and offers plenty of fields to run and play, and that was just me. If you are looking for someone who you can trust with your own pet, you need not look any further. Thanks again guys, so pleased I found you. Steve and Millie.”

“Max absolutely loved his few days with Jenni, Biscuit & family! Came home one very happy and relaxed boy. He got lots of attention, walks and we had great picture updates whilst we were away. Thankyou!☺️”

“Sarah was very accommodating and followed my instructions for looking after leo. He settled at her place very quickly. I was very surprised and will be using her again”

“Would highly recommend this sitter for your dog. Our dog has epilepsy requiring strict medication schedules and keeping his routine consistent. “Well what can I say? Hudson absolutely loved his 2 night stay. There were lots of other friendly dogs to play with, something that Huddy is a little short of as I don’t get about very well. So seeing how happy he was is really warming as that’s what it’s all about. We have another overnight stay booked for October and although we will miss him, we know he will be well looked after. Thank you Carol”

This included cats, reptiles, poultry, pigs and sheep.

“Paige has been an absolute superstar with Cheddar and Skittle. The fact that they warmed to her so quickly is a testament to her kind and gentle nature, she truly understood their personalities and tended to their individual needs. We didn’t worry about them once and her detailed pet cards were both a source of entertainment and a much needed source of relief being away from our pets! I can’t recommend her highly enough. Thankyou for everything Paige! Xx”

About: I’ve looked after cats before, training them to use the potty, playing with them shiny cat toys, removing an pests they catch or bring, letting them out through cat flaps (and sometime even door or windows if there cheeky), and providing them with comfortable living space

Each day came with slightly different — and sometimes quite complex — instructions and timings, but Megan took everything in her stride and handled it all perfectly without needing any prompting. She was reliable throughout, and we always received detailed updates, which gave us real peace of mind. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her or book her again whenever we’re away.”

About: Last year I rescued my cat Willow from the RSPCA and haven't looked back! I've always described myself as a dog person and only had prior experience of spending time with other people's cats. That's all changed! I adore Willow. She's been the best addition to our family and I would show the same love, care and attention to your pet as I do for Willow.
“Dulcie did a great job doing a couple of drop in visits to feed our two cats while we were away for the weekend. She made sure they had everything they needed and was quick in responding to messages. Thanks very much!”

About: I've grown up with dogs ever since I was a baby. I currently have a 3 month old pup and two family dog who live with my mum (one of which is a lockdown pup) & they are my world. Walks, cuddles and play time are my favourite. I'm that person who will pay more attention to the dog walking past then the person. I have a working from home role so I am able to come and go as I please or schedule in walks when needed. This also means I can move my working space to somewhere suitable. My own pup gets a few walks throughout the day and lots of cuddles, so I will always work around to make sure they don't loose out also. I moved to manchester (glossop) from southampton in may 2023. Unfortunately luna and darcey are family dogs (luna is my weimaraner in my profile photo) so they have remained at home with my parents and siblings. However.....we have recently got our own fur baby, hunter who is the weimaraner pup in my photos. He is so wonderfully behaved with the sweetest nature. He is great. I still have so much free time on my hands and wanted to extend this to pub sitting, walking and cuddles. I intend to give the fur babies as much love and protection as I would with my own so please do drop me a message if you have any questions or want to arrange a walk 🐶🥰

About: We will welcome your dog into our home as one of the family – they may not want to leave! My husband and I are both in our 50s and have spent our lives around dogs. We lost our beloved dog, Jarvis, a few years ago and decided to take a break from dog ownership so we could travel more. However, there's still a dog-shaped hole in our home and our hearts. Our children have now flown the nest, and because I work from home, dog boarding and daycare felt like the perfect way to share our love of dogs while helping other owners. We regularly care for the dogs of family and friends, treating each one as if they were our own. Dogs staying with us enjoy plenty of love, attention, walks, play, and mental enrichment games. They are welcome to snuggle on the sofa, relax in the garden, and enjoy all the comforts of home. We have a secure, fully enclosed garden and a park just across the road for walks and adventures. We understand that leaving your dog with someone new can feel daunting, which is why we encourage a meet-and-greet whenever possible. Peace of mind for owners is just as important to us as providing exceptional care for their dogs. Thank you for taking the time to read our profile. We look forward to meeting you and your four-legged family member soon. ❤️ I work full-time from home, so your dog will have company, care, and attention throughout the day. Waking up on my pillow ❤️ (if they're staying overnight and enjoy a bed cuddle!) • Up to three walks per day, tailored to your dog's age, fitness level, and usual routine • Mentally stimulating games and enrichment activities • Meals and medications according to your instructions • Plenty of nap time and relaxation • Sofa cuddles and companionship • Lots of fuss, love, and attention. At weekends, your pooch will simply become part of the family. We'll take them along on our adventures, with plans made around their needs, comfort, and enjoyment. 🐾 We aim to keep your dog's routine as close as possible to home. Meal times will follow their normal schedule, and oral medications can be administered exactly as instructed by you. My husband is a retired police officer, and between us we pride ourselves on providing a safe, secure, and trustworthy environment where dogs can relax and feel completely at home. We only accept dogs from one family at a time. Our home is warm, welcoming and secure for your dog(s). We have a fully fenced and secure garden with no rear access, eliminating the risk of gates being left open. Fresh water is available at all times and is refreshed regularly throughout the day. During warmer weather, we leave the back door open so dogs can safely move between the house and garden as they wish and we will ensure your dog is kept as cool as possible. We have space for crates if your dog prefers to sleep in their own familiar crate. If your dog is not usually allowed upstairs, we can provide a comfortable dog bed or sofa space downstairs, helping them maintain the routines and boundaries they're used to at home. Daily photo updates will be sent for your peace of mind.
“We left Patti with Aneta for the first time and had a really great experience. Aneta was immediately warm and reassuring, which made us feel very comfortable leaving her. Patti clearly had a brilliant day. She came home happy and relaxed, and it was lovely to see how settled she was. Aneta even took her out for a proper walk despite the rain, which we really appreciated. It is clear Patti was well cared for and enjoyed her time. We would happily recommend Aneta and will definitely be booking again.”

Friends and family know they can rely on me to walk, feed and look after their pets while they’re unavailable. I treat every pet like my own and I like to keep owners updated for peace of mind, messages or pictures of their own fur babies. I currently work mostly from home, which is very flexible for getting in those walks or visits as needed, or even just for company in my home. I have a fenced garden and live close by to fields, canals for lovely walks. I have two cats who are very gentle and tame.
“Jenni is just amazing with our dog Jazz! She walks her regularly and has her for doggy daycare. Jazz absolutely loved her stay with her and her dog Biscuit! Jenni sends lots of photos and is very reassuring if you are worried about leaving your dog for the first time. Would recommend her without hesitation.”

“What I loved most was how comfortable Ava was from the meet and greet to when going for the day off she went comfortably with Karen and didn’t even know we’d gone! Karen kept our minds at ease with regular pictures and updates. Ava loved her time with Karen and the doggies and she will defiantly back 😊”

“Lola had a great time on two separate days with Helen, Simon and Adam and was dragging me up the drive both times. I messed up, well thought I had and they were so accommodating. Couldn’t recommend them more.”

About: I have a 2 year old female Saint Bernard who I love dearly. Shes a big friendly giant who loves playtime with other dogs. I also regularly care for my brothers 2 Cocker Spaniels who are lovely nutters. I understand how nerve-wracking the thought of leaving your precious pooch with others can be but I would endeavour to make them one of the family while they are in my care. I am based in Buxton and available for boarding, day care, dog walking etc. Happy to walk my dog separately to yours and your dog will not be left on there own. Your dog can have free roam of my house while they are here and I'm happy for them to be on the sofa/beds. I'm currently working full time but can make time around shifts and on rest days to care for your pets. Besides my work schedule, I'm really flexible and can't think of a better way to spend my free time than with dogs. I have a medium sized secure back garden with a high perimeter fence. I live on a quiet side road away from the main road and there is plenty of open spaces and trails around for walkies. One dog who lives in the house, no children, 2 adult dog lovers.
“Petrie had a fabulous time with Karen and her doggies. She came back very sleepy after playing all day. It was so lovely to see photos of her having the time of her life! Petrie is only 5 months and she was very very well looked after - she can't wait to go back again! 🤗🐶”

“Cooper can’t wait to get out of the car and start his day with Kate. He absolutely loves going and I know he will be well look after and treated like one of the family”

“Our 3 month old collie cross puppy has spent 2 afternoons with Joanne, Minnie and Pickle so far. It's clear she had a good time as she dragged me to Joanne's front door on the second day and she's slept soundly when she's come home, so Joanne has clearly been keeping this active puppy engaged! First time leaving our puppy with someone else and Joanne was reassuring throughout and even ensured a schedule change on their end didn't affect our booking. Very impressed and happy, and have already booked puppy in for a few more stays with her new best friends”

“Alina has a very calm, relaxed way with the dogs in her care, Toby was happy to go with her after first meeting her on our Meet & Greet the day before. He was excited to see the basket of toys especially the boys. Alina lives very close to a large park which is ideal for walking dogs. We felt very comfortable leaving Toby in her care, Alina is certainly very experienced in handling dogs, Toby sat down beside her when we picked him up which for us is a sign that he was comfortable in her presence. We would definately use her services again. Thank you Alina”

I am looking to care for your little ones on the side of my primary work, due to my genuine love for animals. I have lots of experience, including 7 years of working as part of a team in a Luxury Boarding Kennels. About: I have looked after several friend and family members’ dogs and cats whilst they have gone away on holiday, either staying in their home or dropping in for visits. For the last 4 years I have volunteered at an animal assisted intervention organisation, which takes dogs and small animals to schools and hospitals for outreach visits. This involves assessing the animals body language, responding to their cues and ensuring they are relaxed and comfortable. I believe this would be a vital skill for looking after your pet. When I lived in Edinburgh, I worked with a charity that volunteers to walk people’s dogs who find it difficult to get out and keep their dog exercised. I love hiking, getting out in nature and seeing dogs enjoy the outdoors too. I volunteer on a Monday and Friday, for a full or half day depending on the week, however I have lunch free. Outreaches finish at 4 at the latest, so I would be available after this to feed, exercise or play with your pet, and stay overnight if needed. On other days, my commitments are small and take an hour or two out of my day at most. I am flexible - I can stay in your home full time, drop by for shorter periods, and/or stay overnight. Just detail what best suits you and I will endeavour to meet your pet’s needs.

I live in a 2 bed terrace house with a small fenced garden and i live opposite a dog friendly park. I have 2 senior cats who are very friendly and sleep all day.

About: I’ve spent most of my life around animals and have experience caring for a variety of pets, including two brother cats, a hamster, fish, and dogs. I currently have a Shih Tzu–Maltese cross named Charlie, whom I regularly take on walks. I’m also passionate about the outdoors and enjoy hiking and walking, making the most of my time outside whenever possible. I am mainly available to work weekday evenings and weekends during the day. I’m happy to take animals on walks, including longer walks depending on their needs, and provide companionship and care while sitting with them. I enjoy giving dogs plenty of attention, including playtime and affection when they’re feeling energetic. I always keep a close eye on their behaviour and wellbeing, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and properly supervised at all times. I make sure feeding routines, exercise, and care instructions are followed carefully, including administering treats responsibly where appropriate. I’m also confident managing dogs on walks, maintaining control in different environments, and adapting to each dog’s individual temperament and needs. If they get a little dirty, I’m happy to help clean and groom them using the resources available.
About: I've always loved animals so much. They are my happy. I've grown up with German Shepherds my whole life. I've had my own horse for 15 years. I've looked after my families dogs whilst on holidays, walked out neighbours dog whilst she was recoving from hip surgery. I am taking some time off work and my husband is home based so we will always be home so your furry friend is never left alone without us. Our home is a big open plan kitchen diner, we have a fully enclosed garden which is around 100ft. We have a baby gate on the kitchen dog so they have the full run of downstairs. Both me and my husband are fully insured to walk, sit, drive, board your dogs. So we have added that extra peace of mind.

I have a walled off garden backing onto a old barn which is also fenced off to the road. I live with my partner Rhys and our friendly dog Trig who will both love to keep your pup company 🥰 I have enough space for our dogs to sleep and be fed separately if needed and I also have a crate for those who prefer their own space for sleeping. We have a big loft room that we use as Trigs play room, which means your pooch will never be bored 😁 I am confident in my ability to read a dogs body language, making sure all dogs are comfortable with me, their surroundings and their interactions with Trig. I always ensure the safety of all dogs that come to stay with us 😊 Dog walks are locally in the surrounding Buxton area (10 miles or so from Buxton sometimes) and I can offer on or off lead walks, as long as your pooch has good recall and is friendly with other dogs ☺️ I am happy to walk reactive dogs on their own, again off or on lead in quieter areas. Feel free to get in touch with any enquiries!

“Used Pedro for the second time to take care of our Rosie dog! Very responsive and kind. Provided a lot of updates and photos and videos and gave her a very good walk. Felt very happy and trusting. Would use again! Thank you!”

About: Ever since i was little i have always owned and been around dogs. I have always adored them and think they deserve the world. I have trained Border Collies from the puppy stage all the way to adulthood. It’s hard but hard work pays off! From lead training to obedience to recall. We’ve also had our own Jack Russells who can be hard to train as-well! They're both a working breed so require a lot more time put into them and their mind stimulated so I'm not afraid of hard work with your furry friends! Recently ive took the leap to make this my full time job along with my own dog walking business called Heathcotes Cloud K9 (on facebook and now on google) so will have plenty of time plus the weekend for your pets. Just enquire and I'm sure with no doubt i can fit you in! Your pet could even join in the fun during my time pet sitting them. I have my own border collie who is a working dog so i know how it can be with dogs regarding trust and safety. We can always take things slow if you have any nervous animals i am very patient and understanding. I will always meet your animals needs.

“Alec and his family were absolutely fantastic looking after our older Jack Russell, he got plenty of cuddles and walks with playtime with the children, we will certainly look to them again!”

Hannah provided lots of updates and photos, we could see he was having a lovely time and thoroughly enjoying himself. We would have no hesitation in using Hannah again.”

About: Having dogs since I was 4, I have always been comfortable and passionate. We are currently PAT volunteers with our dog Bjorn (golden retriever) and currently undertaking my pet first aid qualification. I can provide a full DBS check and provide dog walking insurance details. To clarify, the dog walking, boarding and day sitting will be solely done by myself. My wife will be present in the home but works from home. I am a full time dog walker and sitter. I can be flexible during any day of the week, and will give plenty of notice if circumstances change. Pet's come first in my household, wether it's a toilet break, play time or just attention. I can easily provide photos/videos throughout the day to keep your peace of mind, and also hold a fully quarter acre fenced garden, pleanty for any dog to run and have a sense of freedom or adventure.
“Nicola was absolutely fantastic with Nellie this weekend! From the moment we dropped her off, I felt completely at ease. Nicola kept me updated with lovely messages and photos, and it was clear that Nellie was happy, relaxed, and getting plenty of attention. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. I’ll definitely be booking with Nicola again — highly recommend!”

“Thank you so much for taking such amazing care of Tyrion and Eric. Being away from them is always hard, but knowing they were happy, loved, and truly looked after made us feel completely at ease. We came home to two very content dogs, which says everything. We’re so grateful and wouldn’t trust anyone else. X”
