We really loved all the photos we got so we could see how our boys were getting on. It was very clear from the first conversations we had and the questions they had from us that they love dogs and really cared about looking after them properly. We would definitely leave our dogs with them again.”

About: Hello! I'm an outdoorsy, animal-loving person who has grown up with dogs my whole life. I had a wonderful 14-year-old Springer Spaniel until 2025 so I know just how much they become part of the family! I am also absolutely missing having a four-legged friend with me. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and making sure they feel happy, comfortable and well cared for. I’m happiest outdoors — whether that’s exploring the countryside, going on long walks or discovering new trails. I’d love to have a four-legged companion along for the adventure! 🐶🌿 I’m also happy to tailor walks and activities to suit each dog, whether they’re full of energy and ready to explore or prefer a slower-paced stroll with plenty of sniffing stops. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, daycare and boarding, and I’ll always take the time to understand your dog’s personality, routine and individual needs. Having grown up around dogs, I understand that every dog is different and deserves plenty of patience, attention and affection. I also offer drop in's for cats! Your pet will be treated like one of my own, with plenty of exercise, company, and love! My boyfriend also helps out as he’s as much as a pet lover as I am 😊 I’m a full-time Paramedic so my availability is not always the same but I work on average 3/4 days a week but I’m able to do before/after shifts & happy to do on my days off, could argue more flexible than a Monday-Friday 9-5! I have a fenced back garden and fenced front garden at my house. I live nearby plenty of country walking routes and I can assure that your dog will always be kept on their lead with me 😊

“We could not reccomend Alec and his lovely family enough. Prior to our meet and greet we warned Alec that our dog Walter can be nervous around men. Instantly he put our mind at ease, providing ways in which he would reassure Walter when meeting. It turns out thanks to Alec, Amy and their two lovely girls joint kind and caring approach, we didn’t need to worry at all! Walter acted as though he’d known Alec and his lovely family for years, instantly playing in their amazing large garden and inside their beautiful home. We already have future bookings planned in but prior Alec and Amy have gone out of their way to help us super last minute with an additional booking and we couldn’t be more grateful. Pictures and videos were sent throughout and Walter was practically smiling with happiness! It was such a relief knowing he can be quite anxious at times, to see Walter feel so comfortable, happy and at home in their presence. We feel so lucky to have found Alec and his lovely family and could not reccomend them more!”

About: When I was a really young child I found a stray cat in a bush - that cat is now 20 and sleeps on my bed every night. When I was 17, my family got a really lovely Labrador called Pepper. He was the best dog, loved his walks so much, we’d take him 3 times a day! Pepper got very very unwell due to a rare illness and we had to say goodbye to him. During the time he was sick - we did everything we could’ve to make him comfortable. I’d be more than happy to provide the same amount of love and care to any animal, not just my own. Family pets usually come to stay with us when their owners are on holidays! I’m currently working part-time as a pottery lecturer on, therefore I have some spare time in the week free to pop in for pet care! When taking care of pets in someone else’s home, I’d be sure to watch them the whole time - as that is the sole purpose of me being there! Also I’d ensure that any kind of hazards (such as enticing chewable wires) are all either removed or dealt with! I’d be sure to communicate this with the owners beforehand so nothing comes as a surprise (like finding things being switched off or moved into a cupboard etc).

About: I have taken care of my own dog Leo a working cocker spaniel since he was a puppy, he is now 7 & my full time adventure buddy 💙 I regularly look after my friends dogs both young and old so I have experience in caring for dogs of different ages and individual needs. Some days I can be available at short notice so please enquire and I will get back to you as soon as possible. I walk my dog Leo daily or twice a day. Sometimes local or I drive out to a different area for a change of scenery. I have a secure fenced garden which is safe to let your dog run free. I will keep up with any training or instructions that the owner informs me of.

About: My partner and I joined Rover because dogs have been a part of our lives from a young age. I grew up alongside Afghan Hounds, which gave me an early appreciation for the care, patience and attention that dogs truly need. In my late teens I welcomed a Collie cross Jack Russell rescue into the family, and more recently I’ve had the joy of spending time with Cockapoos and Cocker Spaniels. My partner Mary also grown up around family dogs including Boxers and both have spent time around Akita Inus and Labradors, so we are comfortable with a wide range of breeds and temperaments. I’m Canine First Aid trained and have hands on experience caring for puppies and senior dogs, understanding the very different needs each life stage brings. Beyond dogs, I’m happy to look after a variety of pets I have experience caring for cats, birds and reptiles, so whatever your household looks like, you’re in good hands. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine. I’m available seven days a week from 7am to 7pm, ensuring your pet receives consistent, reliable care whenever you need it most. I have a fully secure garden, giving dogs a safe space to play and explore without any risk. With no other pets at home, your dog will receive complete one to one attention in a calm, relaxed environment.
