Amazing, Emily and Dan took great care of our dogs, a Labrador and a GSD 6 month old puppy. Took them on a great walk and they got to play with their lovely dogs. We really loved all the photos we got so we could see how our boys were getting on. It was very clear from the first conversations we had and the questions they had from us that they love dogs and really cared about looking after them properly. We would definitely leave our dogs with them again.

Alina has a very calm, relaxed way with the dogs in her care, Toby was happy to go with her after first meeting her on our Meet & Greet the day before. He was excited to see the basket of toys especially the boys. Alina lives very close to a large park which is ideal for walking dogs. We felt very comfortable leaving Toby in her care, Alina is certainly very experienced in handling dogs, Toby sat down beside her when we picked him up which for us is a sign that he was comfortable in her presence. We would definately use her services again. Thank you Alina

About: I've grown up with dogs, including our family working Yellow Labrador and Springer Spaniel, and I regularly care for friends' dogs, including a Dachshund and a Flat-Coated Retriever. I live close to beautiful countryside with plenty of scenic walking routes, and as a very active person who loves walking, your dog will enjoy lots of exercise, attention and affection. I work part-time from home and can offer a flexible routine around school hours. This means plenty of company, attention and daily walks. We’re lucky to live near beautiful countryside, and I love being outdoors and keeping dogs happy, active and well cared for. We provide a safe, welcoming home environment where dogs are treated as part of the family. Our secure fenced garden gives dogs a safe space to enjoy fresh air and play, alongside plenty of lovely countryside walks nearby. I take the time to understand each dog’s routine, personality and needs, ensuring they feel happy, relaxed and well cared for throughout their stay.

Sophie took great care of our puppy Arnold for the day! It was the first time we’d left him with someone other than family and Sophie really made us feel at ease. She was very understanding and patient of his puppy ways, and it seems like Arnold had a great time -he didn’t want to leave!

We could not reccomend Alec and his lovely family enough. Prior to our meet and greet we warned Alec that our dog Walter can be nervous around men. Instantly he put our mind at ease, providing ways in which he would reassure Walter when meeting. It turns out thanks to Alec, Amy and their two lovely girls joint kind and caring approach, we didn’t need to worry at all! Walter acted as though he’d known Alec and his lovely family for years, instantly playing in their amazing large garden and inside their beautiful home. We already have future bookings planned in but prior Alec and Amy have gone out of their way to help us super last minute with an additional booking and we couldn’t be more grateful. Pictures and videos were sent throughout and Walter was practically smiling with happiness! It was such a relief knowing he can be quite anxious at times, to see Walter feel so comfortable, happy and at home in their presence. We feel so lucky to have found Alec and his lovely family and could not reccomend them more!

Megan did a great job looking after Eddie. When I left him he was quite reluctant to stay as it was the first time they'd met. So I was a bit worried that he wouldn't settle but Megan managed to settle him in and sent me a text to say that he was ok which was very reassuring. I left some food for him which I thought he'd probably leave ...but he ate it! which shows how happy he was with her.

First time I’ve had a dog-sitter/walker so was apprehensive as my 13-month-old is a bit lively but Sally put me at ease on our meet and greet and adapted her plans during the week to accommodate the dog and make things slightly more familiar for him. Great feedback through the week while we were away, which was another reassurance for us. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

About: I have 10+ years of hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior pets with special needs. When I was growing up there were always animals in my house. With my mother being a dog walker I am very used to dogs which need personalised care, including basic puppy training, administering medications, and extra patience for older dogs. My passion for animals ensures that every dog in my care receives the attention, affection, and tailored care they need to feel safe and happy. Whether it’s playful walks or calm companionship, I’m dedicated to creating a positive and stress-free experience for both pets and their owners. I own two Pomeranians, Pablo who is 8 and Atom who is 1 1/2. They both love the company of other dogs and are very gentle. I am self-employed so I get to choose when and where I work. I am available to board weekdays and most weekends. I play hockey on Saturdays but I can be flexible with when I play if I am given enough notice. My garden is all fenced off as I have two small Pomeranians of my own which absolutely love the company of other dogs. My garden is also quite large so there is plenty of space to roam around.

About: I have always loved dogs and understand that every pet has their own personality, routine and needs. I share my home with a friendly and sociable Sprocker Spaniel who loves the company of other dogs, so guest dogs should be comfortable around and enjoy spending time with other friendly dogs. What sets me apart is the time and attention I give to each dog. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, active playtime or simply companionship and cuddles, I tailor my care to suit them. I am patient with nervous dogs, attentive to senior dogs who may need a slower pace, and committed to maintaining your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible. I understand how important it is for owners to feel confident that their dog is safe, happy and well cared for. That’s why I provide regular updates, photos and messages throughout their stay. My aim is to create a relaxed, home from home environment where dogs can settle in quickly, enjoy plenty of attention and have fun with their new four legged friend. Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine as I have my own Sprocker Spaniel, so walks, playtime, feeding and plenty of attention are built into every day. Guest dogs will be included in our regular walks and activities, while also having time to relax and feel at home. I work to maintain each dog’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, exercise and any special requirements. Dogs in my care can expect plenty of companionship, supervision and affection throughout the day, with regular updates provided to owners for peace of mind. Your dog’s safety, comfort and wellbeing are my top priorities. I provide a calm, secure and welcoming home environment where dogs are treated as part of the family. Before any stay, I like to learn about your dog’s routine, personality, preferences and any special requirements so I can provide the best possible care. I have a friendly Sprocker Spaniel at home, so I only accept dogs that are comfortable around other dogs and enjoy canine company. All interactions are carefully supervised to ensure everyone feels relaxed and safe. I follow owners’ instructions closely regarding feeding, exercise, medication and routines, and I make sure dogs have plenty of attention, enrichment and opportunities to rest. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your dog is happy and well cared for while you’re away.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 2,450 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Cheshire East. About 87% of Cheshire East sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Cheshire East commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in North West England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
