About: Hi! I’m Colette, lifelong dog lover, treat pro, and belly-rub champion. I share my home with two friendly doggos – a playful Collie and a gentle Cavapoo – and we have joint custody of them, so sometimes your dog will have extra furry friends around. I make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and loved, whether it’s long walks, games of fetch, or cozy snuggles. With me, your furry friend gets more than a sitter—they get a loving home-away-from-home. I work from home, so your pup will never be alone! Daily care includes walks around the local nature reserve and fields, playtime with my friendly Collie and gentle Cavapoo, meals, treats, and plenty of snuggles. Flexible and attentive to every dog’s needs! Your dog will be cared for like part of the family! I have a secure, fully fenced garden where pups can run, play, and explore safely. Plus, we enjoy plenty of walks around the local nature reserve and fields, giving your furry friend fresh air, exercise, and new scents to sniff. With me, your dog will get meals, treats, cuddles, and constant attention while you’re away.
“Luna had a lovely stay with Johannah. I wanted Luna to spend the day with Johannah as she will be staying for 2 nights soon when I have my wedding, so wanted to make sure she was settled and comfortable without me being there. Johannah very kindly sent me updates during the day with photos and videos, and I could see how Luna enjoyed her walk and being out in the garden. I can’t recommend Johannah highly enough 😊”

“Baxter has really enjoyed being with jaiane she is an excellent dog sitter we had loads of photos and the communication was brilliant he's really going to miss her thank you so much x”

About: I have taken care of dogs for most of my life with now looking after 2 puppies full time. Training from basic tricks like paw and sit to more technical tricks like roll over and lie down. Also helpful with toilet training and walking dogs without pulling. Currently a university student and so just ask you check in with me for my availability at present time as this can change due to university timetable I live with my fiance in a semi detached property. Huge garden space that's safe and securely fenced in. We do have 2 dogs ourselves, both pugs and very friendly and playful.
“Smartie really enjoyed her time with Hayley. She has personal experience with senior dogs and dogs who are nervous - so I felt Smartie was in good hands and I could really relax and enjoy my day. Hayley was warm and welcoming - everything you could want from a dog sitter! I'll definitely use again.”

“Sofie is wonderful! Baggins has a lovely time when he's over and feel he settles in nicely with her. Always great to communicate and would recommend having her look after your pet!!”

About: Compassionate pet sitter with over 4 years of experience providing attentive care to a variety of dog breeds. Successfully increased client satisfaction ratings through regular communication with pet owners. Proficient in administering medications, managing dietary needs, and ensuring safe exercise routines for pets. I am out on walk 2x daily. It’s important to me go out daily so it will be easy to take your dog with us. I have a fenced garden and front yard, very close walking trails and huge park. This area is nice and friendly. I have plenty space for another dog.
About: I've had dogs since I was young, ranging from giant breeds to miniature breeds, and now as a keen adventurer that goes on frequent hikes I wouldn't mind some extra fluffy company occasionally. I am currently working an admin job from home. Any times that I am not in my partner is often at home so the house is never empty. Especially with my beagle around to play with. I drive and have access to my a motorcycle and a car so I am happy to house sit for you during the day or simply pop in to make sure your pal has some company and fuss for a while. Due to the size of my house and having my own dog, I can only offer boarding for smaller breeds but fear not, they will be taken for toilet breaks frequently as well as getting walks. I only work part-time and it's based from home. I am never out of the house for long and have plenty of time to look after your furry friends! I have a large faced yard and my own dog to keep your companion company. We spend lots of time doing cuddles and play time as well as more relaxing nap times.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and must admit, I get equally excited around them as they do with me! I love playing with them, taking them on their favourite walks or even just snuggling with them on the sofa. I’ve lived with dogs for 22 years and know their behaviour inside out. I’m looking forward to meeting your fur babies! I work from home so I’m available throughout the week, I also work flexible time so I’m able to take your pets out and about whenever they want or need it! When I’m sitting at your home, I’ll be respectful and clean just as I am in my own home; and I promise your pets will love me! I’m extremely energetic and love a walk, so no walk is too demanding for me!
“Absolutely fantastic communication from Anca .. she clearly loves animals and was thoroughly professional . The home environment is safe and homely. Albert is a nervous little boy, but the videos that Anca sent throughout the day reassured me that he was in good hands and having a lovely time. I will definitely book Anca again.”

About: We’ve had “family” dogs for years, and although I would like my own, sometimes my work/ life schedule would make it too difficult. I work from home Monday- Friday 95% of the time and would love to help out if your dog needs some company. I’m not chained to the desk and have plenty of opportunity to take them out for a walk etc- it’s a good excuse for me to get some air too, so a win-win. If your dog does moult a lot, then this wouldn’t work for me, I’m afraid, as the cleaning burden would be too heavy- sorry about that. Otherwise, there’s a good chance that my 6 year old son will be here too- he’s here 50% of the time- and he’d be super excited to meet your doggy too. Look forward to hearing from you- Oli. See above- work from home Monday to Friday. I’m usually busy at weekends, but do give me a shout on the off chance that I’m not. I’ll be working from home, so it’d be good to look after dogs who are happy to chill whilst I’m working. There’ll be plenty of opportunity for us to go out for a walk or maybe a run during the day too.
“Charlie took such lovely care of Goose, who was taken on lots of walks and given lots of attention! A very safe pair of hands to leave your dog with, and great communication so we were always kept up to date and had nothing to worry about. Would highly recommend Charlie, thank you!”

“This is our first time with Rover.com after a family recommendation and we weren't disappointed. Rebecca is amazing, she looked after Barney so well and sent regular updates and photos. I would definitely have no hesitation rebooking with Rebecca and Barney is looking forward to his next visit.”

Newcastle-under-Lyme dog owners share their Rover experiences
We were absolutely delighted with the care that Debbie and Chris gave to our dog Maddie. They have a wonderful large secure garden, great for dog play. Our rescue Spaniel , is an escape artist, so that security is great. She had two lovely walks ,lots of ball play and cuddles with their 13 year old son. As we don't know the area and had a funeral to attend, it was a great relief to know she was being looked after so well. We would definitely recommend them and would use them again if the need arose.
