The facilities are perfect, with a large secure enclosed garden and a paddock beyond, which was heaven for our ball-mad Cockapoo. It was obvious she had an amazing time and made a new best friend in Andy, who happily kept the ball flying for her. We collected one very happy and well-looked-after dog, which is all any owner could ask for. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Andy and we’ll definitely be booking with him again. With my cat being a Bengal (who needs a lot of attention), and my dog being reactive to other dogs (due to a trauma event) - Angela handled both really well, and reassured me with her daily check ins. “Alina has a very calm, relaxed way with the dogs in her care, Toby was happy to go with her after first meeting her on our Meet & Greet the day before. He was excited to see the basket of toys especially the boys. Alina lives very close to a large park which is ideal for walking dogs. We felt very comfortable leaving Toby in her care, Alina is certainly very experienced in handling dogs, Toby sat down beside her when we picked him up which for us is a sign that he was comfortable in her presence. “We could not reccomend Alec and his lovely family enough. Prior to our meet and greet we warned Alec that our dog Walter can be nervous around men. Instantly he put our mind at ease, providing ways in which he would reassure Walter when meeting. It turns out thanks to Alec, Amy and their two lovely girls joint kind and caring approach, we didn’t need to worry at all! Walter acted as though he’d known Alec and his lovely family for years, instantly playing in their amazing large garden and inside their beautiful home. We already have future bookings planned in but prior Alec and Amy have gone out of their way to help us super last minute with an additional booking and we couldn’t be more grateful. Pictures and videos were sent throughout and Walter was practically smiling with happiness! It was such a relief knowing he can be quite anxious at times, to see Walter feel so comfortable, happy and at home in their presence. We feel so lucky to have found Alec and his lovely family and could not reccomend them more!”

I share my home with my two friendly, calm dogs — a 2-year-old Labradoodle and a 2-year-old Poodle mix — who love making new friends and are great with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I understand that every dog is unique, so I make sure to follow your dog’s usual routine — from feeding times and walks to bedtime cuddles — ensuring they feel right at home. My front door is always locked as safety is my priority. I can provide an AirTag for your dog so they can be tracked at all times giving that extra piece of mind.

About: I’ve had my own girl since i was 11 years old, i trained her alongside my dad, being the main carer for her after my dad!! i learnt and took great interest in how dogs respond, listen, and can be taught commands and basic safety whilst walking on and off the lead, i adapt to my surroundings and survey them which in turn keeps my dog or any dog i’m walking safe!! I work part time as a licensed chef!! so my 4 days off a week are dedicated to nature, and i’d love to include some friendly faces on my adventures and give them memories and the happiest days i possibly can before returning them safely to you!! when im not working im outdoors as the peak district is right on my doorstep - meaning i have found some of the best yet safest spots to take our little furry friends i have two very large outdoor areas at my own home for when the dogs aren’t out and about in the peaks!! both fenced off where they can play with my friendly girl if she’s home!! we create a fun and friendly environment for any furry visitor with puppy pools, play areas and LOADS of toys for your dog to choose from
About: I have experience with all sorts of animals including dogs, cats, reptiles, small mammals, birds, insects, and exotics. I aim to help those who don’t have time to care for their animals 24/7 and to keep animals stimulated and happy. I even have a pet service business outside of rover if anyone’s interested. It’s aimed at people who can’t afford expensive pet care. I am reliable and friendly. I sympathise with pet owners who have struggles and I am flexible with what I do. I am currently unable to work so I have plenty of time to keep pets company. I love animals and love helping people with their pets. I own a border collie cross spaniel named poppadom, she would love to accompany me on my journeys but don’t worry if your dog is unable to have company then of course I will leave her at home. Any animal that comes into my care will be treated like my own.

“Fantastic service from start to finish. Communication was excellent throughout, and they are a lovely, easy-going couple who clearly share our love of dogs. The facilities are perfect, with a large secure enclosed garden and a paddock beyond, which was heaven for our ball-mad Cockapoo. It was obvious she had an amazing time and made a new best friend in Andy, who happily kept the ball flying for her. We collected one very happy and well-looked-after dog, which is all any owner could ask for. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Andy and we’ll definitely be booking with him again. I understand how special your pets are and would treat them like royalty. I have experience with lots of breeds including rescue dogs, mainly lurcher and greyhound.
