About: Hey, I’m Frances, a York/Selby local! I’ve grown up having many pets – dogs, birds and guinea pigs. ☀️ Being around animals has always felt natural to me. Throughout my life, I’ve lived in a home that has always had dogs, including many Boxers, so my love for dogs grew from there. We adopted Isla, a 10-year-old White Boxer, who still has lots of energy! She’s a strong, energetic girl who requires longer walks and a solid routine, so I’m very comfortable caring for dogs with plenty of energy and personality. I’m the main person who will be caring for your dog, and I’ll sometimes be accompanied by my partner, Charlie. Charlie has also grown up around dogs and has lots of experience with them. He’s naturally very good with animals and, like me, absolutely loves getting out for long walks. We both enjoy quiet, chilled weekends and spending time outdoors, so having a dog to join us on walks and relax with is something we genuinely love. 🐾 Clear communication is really important to me. I’ll always respect your instructions around training, routines and care, and I’ll keep you updated with photos and little check-ins so you know your dog is happy and settled. 🐶 I attend dance classes 3 times a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 4pm and 8pm, so I've got plenty of time to spare for your dogs during the day. I’m happy to care for dogs in their own home and will always make sure they feel safe, comfortable and well looked after. I love taking dogs on walks and exploring different routes, parks and green spaces so they can get plenty of exercise and enjoy lots of new smells. I’ll follow their usual routine, give them plenty of attention and make sure they’re happy and settled before I leave.

About: I am an animal lover and hold my pet first aid and CPR certificate. I have over 5 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors. I am comfortable with administering oral medications, and providing extra attention for pets with additional needs. I also have experience in caring for cats of a range of ages from energetic kittens to relaxed older cats. I also have personal reptiles too, owning two tortoises and a leopard gecko. About: I have a lifelong love and experience with animals. I have three dogs and two cats, so I’m very comfortable caring for multiple pets and understanding their individual personalities, routines and needs. I have had dogs all my life, giving me extensive experience with feeding, walking, playtime, grooming, companionship and general day-to-day care. About: I adore animals and grew up with dogs, mainly terriers and labs so caring for them is second nature to me. I’ve worked in many places that are dog friendly also. I absolutely adore pets and and can’t wait to know yours. I’ve got over 10 years experience living with and minding pets, mainly dogs and cats, from puppies to rescues. I’m an active outdoorsy person so can provide that adventure if needed but also know a calm and comforting environment with a cuddle is sometimes what’s needed. I work freelance so my schedule is variable and flexible. I keep my calendar as up to date as possible but just get in touch if you’re interested and we can chat! I live in a new build flat, accessed via stairs in York. It is spacious and airy and near many green spaces with lovely walks and not far from the river and gardens. “We are so grateful to have found Julie and lucky that she had space to look after our 2 lovely feline family members Julie is so caring and nurturing. Our younger cat Tinsel is very nervous of people and I was quite worried about leaving him for a week as I thought he would not come in the house..how wrong I was. Julie worked her magic and he came in every night for her, letting her cuddle and fuss him and eating his meals for her. It's a miracle as he won't let anyone other than us go near him Our elderly lady Sasha was another worry as at 20 she has her routine and being part Siamese she still loves a lot of attention from us. But Julie looked after her so well and we felt very reassured Julie really understands cats, she gets to know them and she is in time with their personalities To top it all off Julie washed our towels and bedding, hung them out, cleaned and tidied and cooked our tea!!! She's an angel. 10 stars”

I've loved learning who they are, supporting them in their homes and having a fun & rewarding time with them in the process! I have no problem giving them the care the need including routine, medication, love and play. I'm also quite a greenthumb and had plenty of plants and grew food on my balcony before becoming a digital nomad full time. I'm also used to dealing with any house issues that arise!

About: I have had pets since I was 10 years old. I have had cats, dogs and kittens and also rabbits. I have experience looking after people’s kittens/cats/senior cats and also puppies/adult dogs and senior dogs. I have medication administration experience as our old senior cat had medical conditions which required medication. I love looking after furbabies to ensure their individual needs are being met taking into consideration their different personalities. I currently work a 9-5 job Monday to Friday but I am free evenings and over the weekend. Over the weekend I am more flexible to look after pets in my own home, take them for walks and do drop in sessions. I can also offer dog walking/ drop in sessions in the evening after work hours. I have a fenced backyard for your furbaby and I am a 5 minute walk away from a field. I am available to meet up prior to a sit/walk or drop in so I am able to meet you and your furbaby so you can assess who is going to look after your family member.
