About: Ever since a young age, i have taken care of all animals due to family and friends pets. My Grandmother, who had 7 dogs and 3 cats, taught me how to care for animals both stray and tamed from the age of a puppy to an elderly dog. This taught me many skills on how to care for animals, fulfilling not only their physical needs but emotional too. I am currently on the summer break with no jobs and no upcoming holidays trying to save for university and will therefore be free daily for anyone who needs any pet sitters or dog walkers. I currently only have a cat at the moment as my dog lives with my dad in Scotland, however, i can ensure your pet, whether thats a dog, cat or other, will be kept safe and entertained. As long as boundaries regarding the animal are understood beforehand they will be kept safe and secure.

About: From my childhood surrounded by dogs - from German Shepherds to Spaniels -to raising my own gentle Labrador, caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I truly believe life wouldn’t be the same without our four-legged companions, and I treat every guest dog as part of my family. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and needs -from energetic youngsters to gentle seniors and anxious rescues. I only take a small number of dogs at a time, which allows me to give them calm, individual attention and a truly homely atmosphere. I live just outside York, in a peaceful countryside setting with a large secure garden, private fields, and quiet woodland paths - perfect for relaxed walks and safe playtime. Working from home means your dog will have company and care throughout the day. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind, knowing your furry friend is safe, happy, and loved. Every dog has its own rhythm - some enjoy adventures, others prefer a cosy nap in the sunshine. I adapt to each one’s personality and routine, ensuring they feel settled and secure. I work from my home office, which means your dog will always have company and care throughout the day. We live in a secure home with a large garden, open private fields, and quiet woodland paths - perfect for plenty of safe, relaxed walkies. I live just outside York, in a peaceful and secure countryside home that provides a calm, safe environment for your furry friend. The property has a large enclosed garden, private fields, and quiet woodland areas -perfect for relaxed play and exploration. Depending on your dog’s personality and needs, I’ll make sure they feel completely at ease. Sociable dogs are welcome to share a room with my own gentle Labrador for company, while those who prefer more space or quiet have a comfortable area of their own. Crates are available if your dog is used to them or feels safer that way; everything is adapted to what makes them happiest and most secure.

About: I grew up on a farm and have lots of experience looking after all animals. I grew up with golden retrievers, labs, spaniels, huskys and looked after multiple other breeds. I am a PE teacher who has time off during the holidays and loves spending it with animals and the outdoors. I am a teacher so I have a large amount of free time in the holidays that I love spending outdoors. I also have weekends free where I can spend boarding for dogs. I have a fully enclosed garden and a perfect amount of space for more than one or two dogs if necessary. I have a car if needed to be collected.

About: I have years of experience caring for the pets of family and friends, looking after a variety of breed from energetic Jack Russell's to larger English Pointers. I understand that every dog has their own personality, need and routines, and I love providing them with plenty of care, attention and exercise. Being an animal lover and enjoying the outdoors, I'm always happy to provide fun walks, companionship and a safe loving environment for your pets. My flexible schedule allows me to offer pet care at various times throughout the week alongside my part-time work and yoga teaching. About: I have grown up with a variety of animals my entire life, all varying in ages and sizes. I currently provide pet sitting and walking in addition to my current full time job for friends and family. This includes looking after my sister’s 11 month old puppy and training where possible. I am currently working full time Monday to Friday in a college. With my weekends free, I work from home on Mondays and Fridays which allow me to pet sit on these days, I can do overnight stays so long as I don’t have an event. With my job I sometimes do overtime which allows me to book off additional days for pet sitting should I need to. I prefer looking after pets in the pet owners home as I believe pets deserve to feel at home and safe, what safer space is there for them than a space they live in. About: I've grown up with cats and dogs my entire life and have extensive hands-on experience caring for animals of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I currently have a friendly Labrador who is well socialised and used to being around both dogs and cats. Outside of pet care, I organise an annual dog show with the charity Friends of Middleton Park and, this year, I'm also organising a free community dog show for the Belle Isle Gala in partnership with Belle Isle Tenant Management Organisation. I have animal first aid experience and access to veterinary advice and emergency support 24 hours a day, giving you added peace of mind while your pet is in my care. I have my own transport and, at weekends, weather permitting, your dog may enjoy trips to local parks and beauty spots for extra enrichment and exercise. Of course, you'll receive plenty of photos, updates, and messages throughout their stay so you can see just how much fun they're having. When your pet stays with me, they will be treated like part of the family. I provide a safe, loving, and comfortable home environment where your pet's wellbeing is my top priority. I work from home, which means your pet will have plenty of company, supervision, and attention throughout the day. Pets are never left alone for more than two hours, and in most cases are with me almost all of the time. Before the booking, we'll discuss your pet's routine, preferences, dietary requirements, and any special needs to help them settle in as comfortably as possible. During their stay, your pet will receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection. I will stick as closely as possible to their normal routine to help them feel at home. You'll receive regular updates, photos, and messages so you can see how your pet is getting on and enjoy peace of mind while you're away. I also have animal first aid experience and access to 24/7 veterinary support should any concerns arise. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my priority. I have a fully fenced garden, giving dogs a secure outdoor space for exercise, play, and toilet breaks. Inside the home, pets are never left without companionship, as I have other friendly pets to keep them company when I’m out. I also use multiple water fountains and automatic feeders, which are monitored and will alert me when levels are low. This means fresh water is always available and feeding routines are followed on schedule, even when I’m not at home for short periods. When out on walks, dogs are always kept on a lead for safety. If appropriate and with owner permission, I also use extendable leads so they can enjoy extra freedom to explore while still remaining secure and under control. As I work from home, pets are supervised for most of the day and are never left alone for more than 2 hours. I maintain a calm, safe environment and follow each pet’s usual routine closely to help them feel settled and secure. Regular updates and photos are provided so you can feel confident your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for throughout their stay.

About: I’ve solely taken care of my step dads husky on the weekend for the past four years including walks, feeding, baths and overnight stays☺️ I have 2 chihuahuas currently at home, but as a uni student i am missing my furry babies and would be honoured to spend time with your loved animals! i have been around animals my entire life, i can handle both large and small breads. i can provide any routine that your dog needs and accommodate to all their needs and preferences! i would love to help out in any way :) im currently on a 0 hour contract and im lucky to get one shift a month, im a uni student but i have 4 days free a week (including the weekend) i can try my best to fit around your schedule just pop me a message! My garden is surrounded by high stone walls so there is absolutely no way out as the door is padlocked. About: I have lots of experience caring for pets as my degree has allowed me to work in both kennels and catteries, getting to know different animals and how to care for them. I have always had pets in the house and have a great love for all animals. My degree is quite full on, however midweek and weekends I would be able fit you and your pet in. Being around animals is very important to me and I often drop anything for the opportunity to cuddle a cute pup I am not able to have pets in my home at the moment but would be more than happy looking after your pet in your home, or taking your dogs for walks. I would be more confident walking dogs on leads as I would be worried if they do not have strong recall skills, however I would always ensure they have enough excercise.

About: I got my dog, Ruby, when I was 8. She has been my rock. I absolutely love taking care, feeding and walking her as well as giving all the affection and fuss a dog needs! I am relied on by family, friends and neighbours to do these tasks for their dogs in the past, but I am glad to and enjoy it as I have such a soft spot for all dogs! I am currently a university student, who is only in university 2 days a week. Due to this I have a lot of time free to look after your pup. I live 2.5hrs away from home and my dog Ruby, I miss her and the comfort a dog brings. In my spare time I love being active especially love walks around the river trent… so why not bring a furry friend with me! As I am currently in student housing, I would prefer to look after a dog within the owners home but as we do have a gated garden and a clean safe home, I am more than happy to accommodate at my home if needed.

About: I’ve cared for family pets for many years and have attended an animal management course for animal welfare and behaviour, which included details of training animals and properly caring for a variety of different animals and pets. I have also volunteered at a dog kennels looking after dogs in kennels whilst their owners were away and I currently work at a dog groomers. I have learned to care for a variety of animals so can provide care for different pets. I am currently at college and have a job so I can fit pet care into anytime on weekends and after 6pm on weekdays. I can also provide pet care during bank holidays and any other time off I have. I can cater to different pets’ needs and follow specific instructions pet owners have for their pets to make sure they have the best care. About: I have grown up fostering dogs and since moving out of my parents I have rehomed a cocker spaniel that was in bad shape. I have brought her to the amazing, well mannered, highly trained girl she is now. She gets on with all dogs, though can be nervous. I believe that pets are part of the family and think they deserve to at least use our furniture, we are their whole world after all. I have extensive experience in training puppies and dogs alike and also pick up on any signs, body language and behavioural issues and can address these promptly to ensure a happy time for your pets. My mum is a dog groomer too so I have grown up knowing the ins and outs of many different breeds and temperaments in dogs. Pet care fits into my daily routine perfectly, being self employed allows me to take control of my own schedule. I love going for walks and hikes so what’s better than being able to also take pooches for long walks and adventures, as well as nice chilled time on the sofa. I have a large fenced garden and a cocker spaniel girl of my own to keep your furbaby company. We can crate our dog or your dog if needed. My mum is a dog groomer so I have picked up dog first aid from her, as well as tips and tricks to bathing tricky dogs too! I am in a large house so theres room for indoor play and cosy relaxation alike.

About: I have been a petsiitter, walker, companion for many years. I love all fur babies, recently looked after chickens too. I have a car, can work in York and surrounding areas. Will consider further afield but a minimum of one continous week. Always recommend a meetup before a booking for a cuppa and maybe a biscuit 😉 Recently retired. As i am an animal lover and experienced pet sitter for cats, dogs, chickens i can't think of a better way to spend my time. I cannot look after pets in my own home sadly. I can only offer pet sitting, Vet visits, Pop-ins for all fur babies, chickens, feeding, comforting, walking. Sadly I cannot look after reactive dogs because of past experience.

About: I have plenty of experience with different animals grooming, meditation dispensing, general day to day walking and entertaining playing around with pets. I would be happy to continue any basic training you have started or would like me to start. I can do some extra activities while looking after your pet, like washing up mess made by your pet, put rubbish bins out and bring back in. Bring letters in if you are way on holidays etc. I have looked after pets both energetic who love walks and playing around and also pets that just love a cuddle and to chill.
