President of York Uni Dog Society
I have had dogs my whole life and always been around dogs and loved them. I have just finished my year as the President of Dog Society at the University of York, bringing dogs to campus each week for students to meet and play with when they’re feeling homesick. I’ve got experience feeding, walking, washing and caring for a variety of sized dogs, from Miniature Dachshunds to Dalmatians and everything in between. I also have experience of giving dogs and cats pill based medication - even to pets that really hate them! My own dog loves to run off on walks so I’ve got plenty of experience with dogs who are escape artists so I’m well aware of all their tricks! I like to meet with you and your dog before hand to get to know you both and give you peace of mind when I look after them. I am at home in Sussex until end of August when I am then back in York full time

I am unable to care for pets in my own home at the moment due to renting my home however I am confident walking dogs and caring for them in your own home.

Olivia was amazing. Olivia was kind enough to house/dog sit for us whilst we enjoyed a long weekend away. She was great in very way, form the start communication was excellent and she took the time to visit us before the booking. Very punctual, organised and caring towards our much loved pet who warmed to her immediately. We had no hesitation in leaving her to house pet sit for a 4-night weekend. Communication continued to be excellent with regular pictures of our whilst out walking. Returned home to one very happy pet, an immaculate house and complete gratitude to the care Olivia had taken.
Olivia was a responsive, sensible and confident sitter and we came back to a happy, healthy dog. While we were away she checked in about a couple of eating issues which was reassuring. The house was tidy and she waited to hand over in person. We will be using Olivia again.
Olivia has been an absolute pleasure to deal with from beginning to end. Easy to speak to and arrange things with, great with both our dog and cat, thoughtful and clean and tidy about the house. She had to deal with a couple of curve balls like an unexpected delivery of an oven which the driver left in the middle of the doorstep! Basically she’s proactive and unfazed as well as being caring and great company for my dog who loved her. I could properly relax on my holiday. We will definitely be seeing her soon again. 🙌
Olivia house sat for me for the first time and it all went very well. She’s very caring with Bert and respectful around our home. She kept me up to date during her stay which I appreciated. Would recommend and will book again 😊

Schedule
I have just graduated from the University of York and now work Monday to Friday however I am flexible and am around on the weekends so have lots of time for looking after your dog. I am happy to look after your dog, just message me and we can sort a time that suits. I’m willing to become a regular helping hand for your dog.
