About: I believe pets aren’t just animals - they’re family. That’s why everything I do is built around trust, compassion, and genuinely personalised care. I’m an animal lover with a CPD Accredited Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming, Pet Sitting & Dog Walking, offering professional dog walking, pet sitting, puppy and kitten care, and overnight house sitting tailored to suit each pet’s unique personality, age, and individual needs. I have hands-on experience caring for young puppies, senior dogs, and pregnant dogs, and I understand the extra patience, attention, and gentle handling they require. From helping puppies build routines and supporting toilet training, to providing slower-paced, comfort-focused care for older dogs, and calm, attentive support for pregnant dogs, I treat every stage of a pet’s life with the care and respect it deserves. No two pets are the same, which is why I always take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and any special requirements. I am fully insured and DBS checked, giving you complete peace of mind whether you’re at work, away for the day, or enjoying a holiday. Your pet’s safety, wellbeing, and happiness always come first. Whether your dog needs an energy-burning walk, your senior pet needs gentle companionship, or your puppy or pregnant dog requires extra reassurance and care at home, I offer reliable, loving support you can trust. With regular updates, photos, and open communication, you’ll always know your furry family members are in safe, caring hands. Because for me, it’s not just pet care - it’s care with heart 🐶🐱💛 I work as a full-time dog walker and pet sitter, offering flexible availability from Monday to Sunday, because I understand that your furry friends need love, care, and routine every day of the week - not just weekdays. Dog walks and drop-in visits are available between 7:30am and 7:30pm, allowing for both early starts and evening care to fit around your schedule. House sitting services are arranged on an individual basis and will be discussed in detail with each owner to ensure the best possible care for your home and pets. My aim is to provide reliable, consistent, and stress-free care that works for both you and your pets 🐾💛 The safety, comfort, and wellbeing of every pet in my care is always my top priority. All services are provided in the pet owner’s home or out on walks, allowing pets to remain in familiar surroundings and continue with their normal routines. Before any service begins, I take the time to get to know each pet through an initial meeting and a detailed pet information form. This helps me understand feeding routines, exercise needs, medical requirements, behavioural traits, and any special care instructions. I have experience caring for puppies, senior dogs, and pregnant dogs, and I adapt my care to suit each pet’s individual needs - from gentle handling and slower walks to increased supervision and reassurance. When caring for pets in the owner’s home, I treat both the pets and the property with the utmost respect. I carefully follow all instructions provided, maintain home security, and aim to keep routines as consistent as possible to reduce stress and anxiety. During house sitting services, pets receive companionship, attention, and calm, reliable care while their home remains secure. For dog walking services, I assess each dog individually, use secure leads and harnesses, choose safe walking routes, and closely monitor behaviour at all times. Walks are tailored to each dog’s age, health, and energy levels to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. I am fully insured and DBS checked, and I maintain clear, open communication with owners throughout every service, including regular updates and photos. My aim is to build long-term trust with both pets and their owners by providing reliable, compassionate care in a safe and familiar environment.

I can work from home some days and only 10 minutes away from my workplace so can always nip back, have cameras at home so I can watch too. I have a small fenced yard and I am less then 200m away from a nature reserve, so very easy to go for long walks etc

Key skills are a passion for animals, over 20yrs experience. Having been brought up with dogs from an early age, I love nothing better than getting out in the fresh air for a walk with a four legged friend. “I can’t recommend Julie enough as a dog sitter! She has been absolutely amazing with my cocker spaniel, Buddy. From the very beginning, it was clear how much she genuinely cares about the dogs she looks after. Buddy warmed to her instantly, and I could tell he felt comfortable and happy in her company. Julie takes him on lovely long walks, making sure he gets all the exercise and stimulation he needs, and she always goes the extra mile to ensure he’s well cared for. I had complete peace of mind knowing he was in such capable and kind hands. It’s clear that Julie not only loves what she does but also understands dogs really well. Buddy came home happy, relaxed, and very well looked after. I feel so lucky to have found her, and I’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

“William was amazing with my cat Pepper. She is quite shy and nervous and he was great with her. Communication was second to none and I received some lovely photos of her. He really understands what cats are like. I would definitely recommend him. Thank you so very much. I will be in touch for next time”

“Trina has been excellent! I came home to a very chilled cat and a tidy house. It's the first time I have been away and left my cat for so long. “Maisie was extremely excellent with my babies ( 3 cats) . My cats are extremely spoiled and are mainly indoor cats ( outside only with supervision). They are also very weary of people, especially my oldest , Olaf who is a big antisocial grump. My two younger cats , Sven and Aurora really adored her and felt comfortable with her. These are some extra things she did that made me feel so comfortable with her and made me love her 1) she always played with my babies, giving them rubs, and even made box castles for them, which the loved! 2) she always tidied their eating area, washed their food bowls and mats and cleaned up any food bits on the floor! 3) she even tidied up my kitchen!!!! Where i kept their packs of dry treats! And always checked their water. 4) I extremely loved that she took lots of pictures of my babies, their food bowls ( before and after she put their food), their litter boxes before and after cleaning ( so i could see their poop), she even changed the litter sand once it got saturated with pee!!! And put in fresh litter! 5) she even cleaned up messes and poop outside the box that Olaf was doing in protest of me not being there . 6) she even asked about Olaf eating, because he was not coming out when she came around ( that really touched me) 7) she was always punctual and efficient 8) She followed all the instructions and went over and beyond) in a great way), i have different types of dry and wet food, with special types for each cat, and she did great! 9) She gave my babies dreamies treats, and won their favour 10) She definitely has a good aura, because my babies really loved her. And best of all, I came back to a clean house, clean litter box and happy well fed babies( Aurora even gor fatter and bigger in my absence!). This is my first time ever using a pet sitter, because I am very protective about my babies and they usually travel with me.. but i must say, Maisie was beyond my expectations, and now I know that I will definitely use her again, and I can now travel without having to take my babies with me. I strongly recommend Maisie! ( but make sure you allow her have availability for me when next I need her 😸😺😻… lots of love from me and my babies- Olaf , Sven and Aurora 💛🩵🧡”

Rebecca took very good care of my little cat, Susie. She provided detailed updates and pictures on every visit, so I had no worries about Susie when I was away. Susie can be very shy of strangers but she came and took treats from Rebecca on the first visit! Will definitely ask Rebecca for help next time I go away.

Thank you Ben for looking after Newt and Daisy, you've done a fantastic job. Ben was reliable, communicative, thoughtful & made sure our cats were well looked after whilst we were away on holiday. When we go away next time we will definitely look at booking with you again

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
