I’ve been around dogs my entire life and caring for them comes very naturally to me. I grew up with a rottweiler, which taught me from a young age how to handle large, strong breeds with patience, consistency, and love. Later, I had a black Labrador who was part of my life for almost 15 years and truly meant everything to me—caring for him through all stages of life gave me valuable experience with senior dogs and their changing needs, especially when he developed a seizure condition. He left such a mark on my heart, I decided I was not ready for another dog of my own so offered to look after friends and families doggies instead! I frequently look after my friend’s pug and my colleague’s chihuahua, so I’m comfortable caring for smaller breeds as well. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I always aim to provide a safe, loving, and attentive environment where pets feel comfortable and happy. I love all dogs, no matter the breed or size and always care for them like they would be my own!
