About: I have grown up around dogs since the age of 10. With 2 family cocker spaniels I am used to the craziness that having a dog brings to a household. I no longer live with my family dogs and miss being around them. I have experience with elderly dogs, one of my family dogs died this year at the age of 14 and she needed full time cars for months. We had a litter of puppies when I was younger, so I am experienced with younger dogs as well. I graduated from university 2 years ago and now work from home almost full time (I tend to go into the office once a week, but this is flexible). About: I have been around working dogs since I was a child. When I was younger I had the ambition of being a veterinary surgeon and so had to gain animal experience to apply for the course. This included farm work, doing multiple weeks at 2 vet's practices and over a year and a half dog walking for the RSPCA. Since moving to Harrogate many years ago, I have walked and looked after 30 + dogs in the area; including house-sitting and drop-in visits. My job requires me to have a current DBS check in place. I am confident with big dogs as well as small ones and would happily meet beforehand to hopefully put your mind at ease. I am free on weekends all day, although do visit family etc on these days but not on a regular basis. I mostly work from home (usual office hours). I can walk the dog before and after work, combined with play and scent work during the day. Usually, if I were lucky enough to look after your dog, this would involve lots of outdoor exercise (providing the dog is able to). I live very close to the Stray in Harrogate, so if needed it would not be far to quickly bring him or her home briefly for a drink or rest. However, I do drive so would be comfortable walking / looking after wherever your home is. Rover now encourages you now to message more than one person, this is a new feature and it isn't necessary, as I do reply quickly. I take great pride in my reviews and the service I offer. We needed someone to walk our two little pooches during the ceremony so all our loved ones could attend and she was there as soon as we arrived, and kept them for a little longer as the ceremony ran over. About: I adore dogs! I have helped run a dog kennels for over 3 years before I went travelling. I have also worked at a dog and cat animal charity for 1.5 years in Edinburgh, where I'm from. When I was travelling in Australia I also done dog walking as I needed my doggy fix down under as well. I had a family dog who was my absolute soul dog and best friend. I would care for your dog like it was my own furry pal. I currently work in the nhs supporting children with mental health issues. This is a challenging but very rewarding career. I do miss having furry, four legged friends in my life though. My schedule changes each week and I can be working different days each week but my work can be flexible if I'm given enough notice as to what days you need pet cover. We have a fenced garden at the back of the property. We now have our own golden retriever pup called ozzy who is the centre of our universe. Due to this I have put a hold on dog boarding in my house but still more than happy to drop by to owners houses to keep your pooch company as well as offer dog walking services.

About: I’m experience with housesitting for short and extended periods, ensuring the pets are well walked, fed and of course get plenty of attention. I also always maintain clear communication with the pet owner before and throughout the visit so you can enjoy your outing reassured your furry friend is in good hands. About: Having had 2 dogs of my own and looking after friends and families dogs for a few years - your fur babies will be given the upmost attention and love by me. I am a very active person who loves to walk and run but I am also incredibly patient and can go at whatever pace is needed. Being a self employed Pilates instructor and dancer - I have a lot of availability to walk in ‘normal’ 9-5 work hours and can work around you ! This also means I am incredibly active and can take your dogs on short or long and active walks. When pet sitting in your home - I will make sure to give your dog/dogs all of my attention and leave your home looking the same as how I found it!
