About: I’ve taken care of dogs most of my life for friends and family and have worked at a dog boarding kennels for 3 years working with all kinds of dog breeds and I studied dog behaviour, nutrition and management including housing and healthcare I’m currently working part time between 8-10am and 3-5pm so I’m available most days in between, if you are okay with your dog/dog’s being left for 2 hours morning and afternoon. In your home I will listen and follow all instructions to keep your pet safe and happy this will extend to outside the home on walks. Unfortunately i cannot have your pet in my home as I have a reactive dog and wouldn’t want to put another animal in danger or distress.

“Vanessa has looked after our cat Vincent twice now and we’d 100% recommend her. She sent lots of photos/updates and he clearly loves her. She’s very reliable and friendly and we’ll definitely ask her to look after Vincent again in the future. ”

About: Hi, My name is Georgia, I am 25 years old and animal care is my passion. I studied animal management at college and also completed extra qualifications at college including animal first aid and canine behaviour and training. I volunteered at an animal shelter for several months where I walked the dogs and cleaned dog kennels and cat pens. I previously had a part-time job at a small animal boarding and canine hydrotherapy centre where I worked with rescue rabbits and guinea pigs, and other small animals in the boarding facilities. I had my own dog walking business prior to Covid, however like many other businesses during this time, I had to give it up. I am currently working full time but would love to spend my free time helping with your pet care needs! I am currently studying biology at university; I am always free in the evening and at the weekend. I will work around my classes during the week. I am unable to offer boarding, I do however have a lot of experience in pet-sitting and dog walking. My primary goal is to ensure that the animal's needs are met, but I am also there to provide company, playtime and lots of cuddles.
“Chloe is very caring and loving lady.I could wholeheartedly rely on her services. She looked after my cat like it was her own and was sending me pictures and videos of my very happy and content cat....made me jealous at times lol.She also offered to water my plants, which was very thoughtful! I enjoyed my holiday and did not have to worry about anything as i knew she would hand any issues with ease and care. I definitely recommend lovely Chloe and will use her services again!!!!! Thank you xxx”

About: With years of experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes, I understand that leaving your beloved companion with someone new can feel daunting. That's why I focus on building a trusting relationship with both you and your pet from our very first meeting, taking the time to understand their personality, routine, and individual needs. Pet care is my full-time job, which means I’m fully dedicated to providing consistent, reliable care throughout the week. I structure my days around pet visits, dog walks, and day boarding, allowing me to be flexible with timings where needed. This flexibility means I can accommodate morning, lunchtime, and afternoon visits, as well as regular weekly routines or one-off bookings. Because this is my main focus, I’m able to give each pet the time, attention, and care they deserve without rushing between commitments. When caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, calm, and family-based environment where animals are supervised throughout the day. I keep numbers small to ensure each pet receives individual attention and to maintain a relaxed atmosphere. I take time to understand each pet’s routine, behavior, and any special requirements before their stay. This includes feeding schedules, medication needs, exercise levels, and any anxiety or behavioral considerations. For home visits, I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel secure in their own environment. I ensure doors and gates are secure, provide fresh water, feeding, litter tray cleaning, and enrichment or companionship during each visit. Trust is very important to me, so I treat every home with respect and care, and I keep pet owners updated with messages, photos, and updates so you always know how your pet is doing.

About: I've always been an animal lover, and I have been caring for various pets for many years! I have my own cat, Tommy, who I've had the pleasure of taking care of over the past 10 years. Looking after him has given me hands-on experience with everything from feeding and grooming to recognising changes in his behaviour or health. Over the years, i have learned how important patience and building trust is with animals. In addition to caring for my own cat, I've also helped look after a dog for around 5 years. This included regular walks, feeding and playing. I helped with basic training such as reinforcing good behaviours on walks, as well as maintaining good routine and structure with him. As he can be quite an energetic dog, this experience has given me the confidence in handling dogs with various energy levels. I have also taken care of other cats and dogs for shorter periods of time. Whether it's been a few days or a weekend, I always make sure to provide them the best level of care and attention as I would with my own cat. I always ensure that pets in my care feel safe, loved and comfortable. I pay close attention to their needs and personalities to ensure I can give the best care possible. I currently work part-time, which gives me flexibility and plenty of time to provide attentive and consistent care for pets. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I make sure I plan my schedule around the needs of the animals I’m looking after. Because I’m not working full-time hours, I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and quality time throughout the week. I’m organised and reliable, and I always ensure pets are fed on time, exercised properly, and given lots of attention and affection. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully — including feeding routines, walking schedules, medication (if required), and any specific behavioural needs. I pay close attention to pets at all times and make sure they are kept in a secure and safe environment. I’m mindful of keeping doors and gates secure, avoiding unsafe foods or objects, and ensuring pets are supervised appropriately. I can also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel reassured while you’re away.

About: Hello! My name is Jane and I am a dog walker and pet sitter. I have worked for 12 years as an animal care lecturer, as an animal management keeper, and worked in a large aquatics pet store, so I have a broad range of experience. In 2024 I decided that I wanted to use my experience with animals and work for myself. Having needed dog walking and pet services myself in the past and struggled to find someone local that could rely on, I know how worrying it can be to find the right person to care for my animals whilst I am not at home. The person I would be hiring would be responsible for two things I care about the most, my pets and my home. I therefore aim to provide a reliable and reassuring pet care service for all owners to help alleviate some of these worries. I am fully insured with PetPlan Sanctuary and have been trained in Canine First Aid (iPet Level 3). I also have an enhanced DBS check available for clients to view (children and adults), so you can be assured you have someone trustworthy caring for your pets. I can provide regular or one-off dog walking and a variety of pet care services in your home (including one-off or regular visits, and overnight stays). I can even clean and maintain your aquarium for you, both freshwater and marine. I care for the pets of others nearly full time so I can fit in pet care services very flexibly. Whilst I cannot guarantee specific times in the majority of cases, I try my best to ensure that your pets are visited at times which suit them, and you. Pets are cared for with their own comfort, and peace of mind of the owner, at the heart of the routine. As much as possible I try to ensure the pet's normal routine is not disturbed, which can help many pets when their owners are away. This is especially true for nervous cats and shy dogs who often need their own space, and I try not to pressure them into being in my company if they do not want it. On the other hand, confident cats and dogs can always get the scritches, belly rubs and play time they ask for! I believe it is very important to respect pets and owners boundaries. For example, if they're not allowed on the sofa with you, they're not with me either. This is all talked through at the meet and greet I insist on arranging before every booking to make sure we're all on the same page and the pets can meet me at least once before I stay with them. This also has the dual purpose of ensuring the safety of pets, property and myself. Understanding the personality and behaviours of pets in their own home helps to avoid unintended fearful reactions from those pets which may cause harm. I try to have as minimal an impact on the home as possible, leaving the home as I found it. Finishing up a visit involves ensuring that everything has been completed to a high standard, and the home is left in the condition expected by the owner. I am more than happy to perform small cleaning tasks to ensure the home is cleaned where pets may have made a hairy mess, as long as there is enough time to complete all of the required pet care tasks. If your pet is likely to make a mess, I usually recommend paying a little extra for each visit, or a couple of visits, to ensure I have enough time to care for your home as well as your pets.

About: Hi, Animals have been a huge part of our life for as long as we can remember, and caring for them is something that comes naturally to us. We have worked with pets at every stage of life and bring patience, calm energy, and genuine love to every animal we meet. We have also helped to birth and raise multiple puppy and kitten litters, giving us a solid understanding of early‑life care and how to support young animals as they grow. At home, we live with three German Shepherds and two Maine Coons, so we are very comfortable with large breeds, high‑drive dogs, and intelligent, vocal cats. Managing a busy multi‑pet household has taught us how to read body language, maintain harmony, and tailor routines to each pet’s unique personality. We are experienced with: • Shy, anxious, or reactive pets • High‑energy dogs and working breeds • Multi‑pet households • Following structured routines to keep pets feeling safe and secure What sets us apart is the level of attention and intention we bring to every visit. We don’t just “watch” pets — we bond with them. We learn their quirks, their comfort signals, and what makes them feel happy and relaxed. We also keep owners updated with photos and messages so you always feel connected while you’re away. Your pet’s wellbeing is our top priority, and we treat every animal as if they were our own. We would love to meet your furry family and make their time with us fun, safe, and stress‑free. Pet care is naturally woven into our everyday lives. With three German Shepherds and two Maine Coons at home, our daily routine already revolves around feeding schedules, walks, playtime, training, grooming, and keeping everyone happy and stimulated. Because caring for animals is such a normal part of our day, adding your pet into our routine feels seamless and enjoyable. Throughout the week, we set aside dedicated time for walks, drop‑ins, and check‑ins, and we’re used to balancing the needs of multiple pets at once. Whether it’s morning exercise, midday enrichment, or evening wind‑down time, we’re always in “pet care mode.” It’s something we genuinely love doing, not something we squeeze in — which means your pet gets consistent, focused attention whenever they’re with us. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always at the centre of what we do. Whether we’re welcoming them into our home, visiting yours, or taking them out for a walk, we create a calm, structured, and reassuring environment that helps every animal feel secure and understood. Boarding (In Our Home) When pets stay with us, they join a home that already runs on routine, structure, and animal care. With our own German Shepherds and Maine Coons, we’re experienced in managing multiple pets safely and respectfully. We supervise all interactions, keep spaces clean and hazard‑free, and make sure each pet has their own comfortable area to relax. We follow your pet’s usual schedule—feeding, walks, playtime, and quiet time—so they settle in smoothly and feel right at home. Drop‑Ins (In Your Home) During drop‑ins, we care for your pet in the environment they know best. We follow your instructions exactly, from feeding and litter care to playtime and house rules. We’re mindful of doors, gates, and safety measures, and we always leave your home just as we found it. Our goal is to give your pet companionship, structure, and reassurance while keeping their routine consistent and stress‑free. Dog Walking On walks, safety is our top priority. We use secure leads, stay aware of our surroundings, and tailor each walk to your dog’s energy level and comfort. Whether your dog prefers a steady, focused walk or a more relaxed sniff‑and‑explore outing, we make sure they get the exercise and enrichment they need while staying safe and confident. Our Approach • Calm, confident handling • Close attention to body language and comfort • Clean, safe, well‑managed environments • Respect for your home and your pet’s routine • Clear communication and regular updates Your pet’s wellbeing is always our priority. No matter the service, you can trust that they’re cared for with patience, structure, and genuine love.

Bradford cat owners share their Rover experiences
Second time in a month, and again Danielle was reliable and her visits very much appreciated by Lottie. Danielle always gives us feedback and photos/videos after each visit. This time round was a heatwave weekend, and while we were away we were very reassured that Danielle's vet nurse experience was more valuable than ever, as if Lottie wasn't coping with the heat too well we knew Danielle would spot any signs and know how to deal with it. As it was, all was well, but reassurance for pets wellbeing in a heatwave when you're many miles away is priceless. Thank you Danielle. Very happy to recommend you and sure to ask you again in the future!
