About: My family have had dogs for most of my life and I currently have a 2 year old goldador. Some family members have cats which they ask me to look after from time to time at their home since they are quite anxious cats and don't like moving much. Whenever I have been asked to look after a pet I have prioritised their needs, followed any instructions on specific care they required such as providing medication and have kept the owners updated daily. When walking dogs I put their needs first e.g., if it's a hot day I plan a route early morning or later in the evening, more shaded routes where, preferably, there's a water source for them to immerse themselves in and any roads so to avoid burning paws. I also ensure I pack for the route: plenty of water and some tasty treats! I am also first aid trained for dogs so you're dog will be in great hands should anything go awry. I'm available for boarding on weekends starting from Friday afternoons to Sunday evenings. I typically go into the peak district but I'm happy to go for more frequent shorter walks in more local parks if that suits your dog more. Sometimes we go for days out somewhere different for example to National Trust sites since most of them allow dogs! Let me know if your dog isn't comfortable with car rides and I can happily plan walks that don't require the car! If your dog is comfortable with car rides I have a back seat liner/hammock with a seatbelt for dogs to clip to their collar / harness. I have a fenced garden and a friendly golden / labrador cross called Leo to keep your fur baby company! I can easily crate your dog if needed or if you have a bed or crate that they are more comfortable with then I'm happy to use it to make my home more accommodating. Leo has lots of toys that he is always sharing which we rotate through to keep them exciting. Though we don't let dogs upstairs, they're allowed on furniture in the living room and we provide blankets to make them comfortable, toilet breaks every few hours, unless the weather is nicer and the garden door is open for them to come in and out as they please, and plenty of water at all times. I also carry a dog first aid kit in the car just in case.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and have taken on the shared responsibility of being a dog owner since I was a child. I adore their company and have had two chihuahuas of my own. I have experience with elderly dogs who require multiple medications a day. I have a home studio where I do clients nails. I do 2-4 clients a day so I have plenty time to gap fill with dog walks/cuddles. I’m flexible as my schedule differs day to day. I have a small, secure garden with a grass patch round the front. I have a little old man chihuahua who gets on with most dogs but if he doesn’t, my partner works from home full time so can keep him home while I walk your dog :)
About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs of all sizes my entire life. As a child growing up, we always had at least one dog in our house. As an adult, I’ve had and co-parented a couple of furry friends of my own. Current days, I don’t have a pet (for now) as I somewhat recently moved to the UK from Canada. With that said, I’m constantly dog-walking and pet-sitting for many of my friends in and around the city. I’ve also had a lot of experience with dog-reactive/anxiety ridden dogs should your pet have any additional needs. I work a regular Monday-Friday day job but can always find time to get outside in the day. Lunch time strolls are far more fun with a furry friend. I believe that mental stimulation is just as important as physical activity for our pets. Affection and attention is vital to make sure our pets feel like they are being included however, I find dogs are at their happiest and thrive in a structured environment.
“Fudge had a great time with Margaret, and settled well considering it was her first visit. Margaret is a natural with dogs and Fudge will definitely be visiting again soon. I would recommend anyone to let their dog stay. Thank you!”

“Karolina was absolutely lovely! She cared for Pumpkin so well, I could tell from the updates and videos she was completely settled, with all her cutest and cheekiest personality traits shining through. Karolina was really easy going and made sure Pumpkin had a chance to meet her and sniff her home before the stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to leave Pumpkin with her again.”

“Amelia is an amazing dog sitter! Our dog, Scampie, was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. This was apparent when he came back home. We’ll definitely book again with Amelia and strongly recommend her.”

“We would highly recommend Ellen. She took brilliant care of our bulldog. Ellen was really accommodating to his specific needs and quirks (of which there are many). Excellent communication throughout.”

About: We’re Claire and Liam. We’ve both grown up with dogs and currently have 2 rescue dogs ourselves. We love taking our dogs everywhere we go, our lives very much revolve around them! We do activities like canicross, scentwork and mantrailing with them. We’d love to help you look after your dog while you’re away and will bring them along to all our adventures. We both work from home with flexible working arrangements. Our dogs have at least an hour walk with toilet breaks throughout during the weekdays and much longer during the weekends. Our garden will be fully fenced this summer and our 2 dogs can keep yours company. We also have a separate space for your dog if they prefer this at any point.
“Sarah was fantastic with our rescue greyhound, Cora. This was our first time leaving her with a sitter so we were a little nervous, but Sarah put our minds at ease with photos and updates. We also felt very comfortable leaving Cora with Sarah because of her many years of sighthound experience and calm demeanor. Her own greyhound Daisy is also wonderful around other dogs and was patient with Cora's toy and bed theft! Would definitely recommend for sighthounds and non-sighthounds alike!”

“Payal has been absolutely incredible! Coco and Payal had an instant connection. It was great to see how closely they connected especially because coco is the type of dog to be cautious of some people. I would definitely recommend!!”

“Smartie had a fantastic weekend with Amber and Rich. They made her feel very comfortable and kept us up to date with lots of photos. If you're looking for a dog sitter/walker, look no further.”

“Lesley took great care of Isla whilst we were away. She sent updates and photos of Isla out and about over the weekend. Isla was quite happy and relaxed with her when we came to bring her home. I expect we will rebook with Lesley when we are next away if she has availability.”

About: I have looked after my own dog coco for 11 years now. She is a maltipoo and is a rescue dog and is really playful with all dogs she meets. It would be great for her to have some company here. I go on regular walks to many nature reserves in Yorkshire and know lots of good dog walking spots. I have time off during the year as I'm a teacher, so I’m happy to help out whilst you go on holiday. I will be free and at home doing some work so your dog will not be unsupervised. I know what it’s like to try to find pet care when going away. That’s why I charge a low price. For me, it’s about making it affordable because looking after pets is a privilege and should be fun. I have a spacious house. Coco is very welcoming and very playful. I have a spare bedroom, but happy to accommodate your dog in my bedroom if you wish. I have plenty of green spaces for walks nearby, as well as a spacious garden. I’m happy for my dog to meet yours in advance if that would make you feel more at ease before handover.
“My doggo had a great time boarding with Sára! Would happily recommend. She gave lots of updates with many pics, was punctual and took care of his meds awell. He was also sad to see her leave lol, so thats a good indication of their time together.”

About: Hi! I’m a huge dog lover based in Sheffield with experience caring for dogs of all sizes, from small breeds to larger dogs. I’ve grown up around dogs and have helped train them to be crate trained, potty trained, and even learn fun tricks. I love getting outdoors for long walks and making sure every dog gets the exercise, attention, and affection they need. Whether your dog is energetic and loves adventures or prefers a slower pace and lots of cuddles, I’ll tailor their care to suit their personality and routine. I live in a quiet, calm home where dogs can feel safe, relaxed, and comfortable. I also have a flexible schedule, so I’m available for boarding, daycare, walks, and last-minute bookings whenever possible. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I’ll treat your dog like one of my own. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing they’re happy, well cared for, and getting plenty of love. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry best friend! 🐾 Pet care fits really well into my routine. I attend university roughly twice a week during term time and I climb around three times a week, but outside of that I have a very flexible schedule as I’m not currently working. This gives me lots of time and availability to dedicate to looking after pets, whether that’s walks, daycare, or boarding. I have a calm, pet-friendly home with no children, no other pets, and I do not smoke. I have an unfenced garden that is backed by houses away from roads, and dogs will always be supervised and taken out on a lead for regular toilet breaks. I can also offer frequent walks, with several nearby parks providing plenty of safe exercise and variety. Your dog will always be cared for in a safe, relaxed environment with their comfort and routine prioritised.
About: I have cared for a variety of dogs both in my own home and in their owners’ homes. I have also spent time learning alongside a professional dog trainer, which helped me develop a better understanding of dog behaviour, routines, and positive care practices. Through these experiences, I have become confident in providing attentive, compassionate, and reliable care tailored to each dog’s individual needs. Each dog’s schedule would be adapted to suit their specific needs and routine. In the past, I have provided morning walks after breakfast, afternoon walks, and evening walks when needed. I also offer mentally stimulating activities, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. Alongside exercise and enrichment, I encourage dogs to relax and rest comfortably, ensuring they feel calm, secure, and well-balanced. I have built strong relationships with both dogs and their owners through trust, communication, and genuine care. Families have felt confident knowing their pets are safe, happy, and well looked after in my care. I make it a priority to keep owners updated throughout the day for reassurance and peace of mind. A dog’s safety and wellbeing are always my top priorities. I ensure the environment is secure, comfortable, and suited to the dog’s needs while maintaining a calm and positive atmosphere. I understand the level of trust involved in caring for someone’s pet, and I take that responsibility seriously by providing dependable, attentive, and loving care at all times.
“Many thanks to Lindsey for looking after Barney, our 2 year old Golden Retriever. We were pleased with the helpful, prompt communication to all questions we asked and from the photos that we were sent we could see he was enjoying himself in the water with Mac. When collected we were glad to hear he had settled in well, especially as this was his first stay away from family.”

Megan was amazing, this was a hard leave for me due to Tilly having a few health issues over the last few weeks. I chose Megan due to Tilly been the only animal there. Tilly was so happy when she came home I was updated daily on her feeding been happy as well has her medication and if she had any seizures. Thank you again Megan

Bee stayed for 24 hours and was clearly very happy, relaxed and well cared for. I was kept updated throughout her stay with lovely photographs, which was really reassuring and meant I could relax knowing she was in safe hands. A friendly, reliable and caring dog sitter who I would happily use again. Highly recommended!

What can I say but highly recommend this lovely family! I was sent various pictures and videos day and night of walking, eating, sleeping, playing and resting. Luna definitely enjoyed her stay and was very well looked and cared after with lots of love. . Much better way than taking our fur babies to kennels. Highly recommend.

Both Kojo and Lottie had the best week staying with Jorden. They both came home in great moods and well taken care of. Jorden stayed InTouch all week with great pictures and videos, you can tell she really cares. They are going back this weekend, we loved her that much 😄 🙌

Minka was great and we would happily leave our dog, Lightning, with her again. He is an old dog who can be nervous when left alone, but Minka made sure he was well cared for from start to finish. She sent us videos and photos throughout the few days we were away, and is was wonderful to see him looking so happy and looked after. I would definitely recommend. Thanks Minka!

Karolina was absolutely lovely! She cared for Pumpkin so well, I could tell from the updates and videos she was completely settled, with all her cutest and cheekiest personality traits shining through. Karolina was really easy going and made sure Pumpkin had a chance to meet her and sniff her home before the stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to leave Pumpkin with her again.
