“Joey loved her stay with Arman, we got regular updates and we could see she was having a great time. Communication was great. Would definitely recommend & use again! Thankyou for looking after her so well ☺️”

“I cannot recommend Charlotte highly enough! She is incredibly professional and trustworthy. Pancake always returns from her stays relaxed and behaving better than when we left her, which speaks volumes about the quality of care she receives. Absolutely fantastic. Thank you!”

“Sara looked after my 6-month-old puppy Tiny for two weeks and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning she was friendly, reassuring, and clearly very experienced with dogs, which immediately put me at ease. While Tiny was with her, Sara kept in constant contact and sent twice-daily updates with lovely photos. It was so nice to see how well Tiny was settling in and enjoying herself, and it really helped me relax while I was away. When I picked Tiny up, she was happy, relaxed, and clearly very well cared for. You could tell she had been given lots of attention, love, and exercise. It’s never easy leaving a young puppy, but Sara made the whole experience completely stress-free. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Sara again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and reliable dog sitter. She truly went above and beyond.”

“Ellen took care of my puppy brilliantly. It was her first stay away from home and she struggled to settle at bedtime for the first two nights stay. Ellen kept me updated and was very supportive and understanding. She is an excellent sitter and Lulu seemed very comfortable at Ellen's house . I would definitely recommend her. Thanks”

About: I am a 23-year-old nurse and my partner is a doctor. We both love animals and would love the company of a furry friend while we save up for our own. I have taken care of my neighbours dogs when I was younger and have had cats my whole life. I will be as attentive as possible whilst caring for your pet. I currently work 9-5 on weekdays but am free all weekends and evenings. I have a car if there is ever an emergency and can work from home if needed. I have a fenced balcony in a flat but live in a very safe area near parks. Our home is very open and will be tailored to the need of the pet.
About: I am a new addition to the sitters on ROVER however, I own a dog myself and have always been really good with animals - especially dogs. It would be great for my dog to also be able to socialise with another dog if booking the boarding option. Great with training, rewards, attention to detail and most importantly...affection! I currently work full time during the week aside from evenings and weekends so would be available to take care either weekday evenings or weekends I have a fenced garden with gated front entry to the house. I have 1 dog who is 1 years old and will always be open for a playtime buddy!
“I met John and Marion prior to agreeing them looking after my dog Mercy. They made me and Mercy very welcome and I was reassured I was leaving her with lovely ppl. I was away for 12 days and they sent pics of her whilst away. On returning I picked Mercy up and am completely satisfied she has been looked after very well. Thankyou both. I would not hesitate with using their service again”

“Savina was wonderful with my husky, especially during the heat. They showed great knowledge including first aid for dogs and I was kept up to date with photos, I felt so at ease! I would highly recommend Savina and definitely would book again :) thank you x”

“Mirela-Gabriela is a dream sitter and a truly wonderful person. Freddy is always in safe hands and feels completely at home with her and her family (including Freddy’s new best friend Foxy!). We booked with Mirela at last minute during a difficult family time, and she was so supportive and helpful with times, dates and updates. We received lots of photos and updates, and love knowing how happy our Freddy is when he stays with her. Cannot thank her enough! I will definitely re-book and would highly recommend ❤️🐾”

“I can honestly say Scarlett did such a brilliant job of taking care of our miniature dachshund Ivy. Ivy can be a little bit wary of the world and we left her for the first time with Scarlett over the weekend. Admittedly, we were a little nervous but we had absolutely no reason to be! Ivy has come home a happy little pooch who clearly enjoyed herself very much. We received plenty of photos and updates while we were away, and we will be using Scarlett again moving forward as she really put our mind at ease whilst away. Thank you so much!”

“Karolina was absolutely lovely! She cared for Pumpkin so well, I could tell from the updates and videos she was completely settled, with all her cutest and cheekiest personality traits shining through. Karolina was really easy going and made sure Pumpkin had a chance to meet her and sniff her home before the stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to leave Pumpkin with her again.”

“Bethan was absolutely amazing, even though purely my fault with the changes of days and times Bethan was always accommodating to our wishes. Excellent service and will definitely reach out again when required. I know from the feedback about our dog if he'd speak he would give a huge 10/10, thank you”

“Lucy was brilliant with our Labradoodle Maisie for a short 3 night stay. Maisie recently lost her big sister so hasn’t been used to being an “only dog” so Lucy’s beautiful husky Indy, was great company for her. Lucy sent regular updates and pics/ videos showing how much fun Maisie was having on her walks and also how settled she was in their home environment. I would highly recommend Lucy and will definitely be asking her to look after Maisie again soon!”

“Amazing dog boarder so much so that I have extended the stay with her. Always updating me with pictures and my dog is so happy with her. If you need someone to look after your dog, she is the one!”

“Sarah was fantastic with our rescue greyhound, Cora. This was our first time leaving her with a sitter so we were a little nervous, but Sarah put our minds at ease with photos and updates. We also felt very comfortable leaving Cora with Sarah because of her many years of sighthound experience and calm demeanor. Her own greyhound Daisy is also wonderful around other dogs and was patient with Cora's toy and bed theft! Would definitely recommend for sighthounds and non-sighthounds alike!”

“Payal has been absolutely incredible! Coco and Payal had an instant connection. It was great to see how closely they connected especially because coco is the type of dog to be cautious of some people. I would definitely recommend!!”

Thanks so much for looking after Barley at our house for a couple of nights. He was really well looking after. It was great to get all the photos and updates. Thank you for taking the time before we went away to pop over to the house to meet him. As he's only young and it was great to have someone who could stay at our house where he was more settled. Thank you and would definitely come to you again in the future.

Josh and his family looked after Hugo, our Cavalier King Charles, for nearly 3 weeks and it couldn't have gone better. A real home from home for him! Josh kept us updated with pics of walks in the woods and joining in family life at home. Thank you, and hope to see you again. Nick & Jane

Would highly recommend. Nam is very accomadating and very reliable. Responds quickly. This is the first time ive used Rover. Felt very confident leaving my dog with her. My dog is very high energy and Giddy but somehow managed to settle him. He looked very content on the photos. Would definately ask her to have him again if ever needed..Thanks so much again Nam

Becky really helped us out last minute when another sitter fell through. She was very responsive and flexible in planning around our trip. Becky was wonderful with our dog Marcy, and Marcy was a big fan of her after the first meeting. I would highly recommend Becky and we will definitely be contacting her if we need in the future!

My dog, Wilson, has just finished a two week stay with Sam while we were visiting my family in Finland. Wilson really enjoyed his stay with Sam and her family and came back home very happy! I truly appreciated the regular updates and photos Sam provided and these really helped us feel reassured that Wilson is in great hands. I will not hesitate to book again whenever we need a sitter for Wilson. Thank you again so much! :)

Ana was brilliant with our nervy puppy, Lola, and was able to accommodate us at short notice! She was happy to have a couple of meet & greets with us so Lola could get used to her, it was her first time being away from all of our family. I think she dedicated all her time to Lola, making her feel welcome, and she kept us updated with photos and videos.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
