About: For the past two years, I have been the proud owner of a wonderful tabby cat. Being a cat parent has taught me firsthand the daily dedication it takes to care for a pet—from keeping up with feeding routines and litter box maintenance to reading feline body language and providing plenty of love and playtime. I have plenty of experience interacting with both dogs and cats in their homes. I frequently join family and friends on their dog walks, meaning I am comfortable on the leash, know how to handle dogs out in public, and love helping them burn off some energy. As I have just completed my A-levels, I have an entirely open and flexible schedule for the summer until mid-September! Because I don’t have daily work or university commitments right now, pet care easily fits into my routine. I am available all days of the week, morning through night, meaning your pet will get my full, undivided attention and companionship. I am dedicated to keeping a consistent routine for your pets, with the only exceptions being a few pre-planned summer holidays where I will be away: June 22nd – June 29th August 20th – August 27th August 29th – September 5th Outside of those specific dates, my schedule is completely clear and open for walks, daycare, or sitting When caring for pets, safety, routine, and personalized attention are my top priorities. Whether looking after an animal in my home or yours, I bring a high level of responsibility to their daily care. For dogs: I am lucky enough to live just a 10-minute walk away from Graves Park, where I go daily. I frequently join my neighbor and her puppy on these walks, giving me great, hands-on experience handling dogs outside, maintaining a secure grip on the leash, and being aware of our surroundings. If I am walking or sitting your dog, they will get lovely, energetic trips to the park to burn off energy, always tailored safely to their age, breed, and your specific instructions. For cats: As the sole carer for my own outdoor tabby cat, I completely understand the vigilance required to keep a pet safe. Because we don’t have a cat flap, I am used to closely monitoring my pet's whereabouts, ensuring she safely enters and leaves the house at the right times. I manage her strict twice-a-day feeding routine, keep her active with daily playtime, and—most importantly—make sure she gets plenty of cuddles and neck scratches on the sofa.

About: Hi, I'm Taryn! I'm based in Sheffield and building The Peak Pack, a local dog walking and pet care service and I'm excited to get to know dogs (and their humans) here on Rover while I grow my experience. I've had my own dogs for years, so I understand the little things that matter, favourite walk routes, food quirks, what makes a nervous dog feel safe, and how much dogs just want a bit of consistency and attention in their day. I've also spent time supporting an established local dog walker, learning the ropes of managing multiple dogs safely and confidently on a real working round. Whether your dog needs a calm solo stroll or some social time in a small group, I'll treat them exactly how I'd want my own dogs treated — with patience, plenty of fuss, and a good sniff around wherever they like. Sheffield's on the doorstep of the Peak District, so we're never short of lovely places to explore. I'm currently working towards my Canine First Aid certification and NarpsUK membership as I build up The Peak Pack, and I'd love the chance to start building trusted relationships with dogs and owners here on Rover. A free meet-and-greet is always welcome before we book anything, so your dog can get comfortable with me first. I'm completely prioritising building The Peak Pack right now, so I have plenty of flexibility for dog walking — available weekday mornings, evenings, and weekends. With at least a week's notice, I can also accommodate occasional weekday and weekend house sitting bookings, staying at your home to look after your pet while you're away. Just let me know your regular schedule or upcoming dates and I'll do my best to fit around it. I don't offer boarding at my own home — instead, for house sitting and home visits, I come to you and stay in or visit your home directly, so your pet keeps their familiar surroundings and routine. I follow your care instructions exactly as given (feeding times, walk routes, medication, house rules), keep your home secure at all times, and send photo updates throughout the visit or stay so you always know how things are going. I'm also completing my Canine First Aid certification in August, so I'll be prepared to handle any minor injuries or emergencies calmly and confidently.

About: I've taken care of dogs of all kinds since I was about 8 years old. Growing up on a working farm, we always had much loved pets. Friends and family have relied on me to house sit while looking after their pets, taking them on long walks, playing with them, and feeding them. I’m experienced with handling multiple animals, including special needs senior doggies and high energy puppies of all sizes. I love all animals, and adore dogs especially. Pet sitting is a happy medium for me as I cannot have pets in my current rented accommodation. I'm currently working part time remotely, so I will have plenty of time to take your dog on long walks (or runs for those energetic pups) and play with it. I'm available for boarding throughout the week. I will be very happy to take your dog on plenty of walks and/or just be the best cuddle buddy. I will provide all the care, attention, and love to your beloved pet as if it was my own.

I have a home with a garden which I can host your pet in. I ask that you supply their usual supplies (food, accessories, toys, bedding), so they can be comfortable away from home. As I have 2 cats in my home, who are still getting used to dogs, I will not be able to provide overnight boarding. However, I am happy to look after your pet in your home overnight.

From the age of 12, I grew up with Patterdale terriers, which were entered into dog shows and won terrier racing four years in a row. We also bred them, giving me early experience handling puppies, supporting early training, and understanding canine behaviour from a young age. I have been a horse rider for six years while growing up, which involved daily care, handling, grooming, and an understanding of animal responsibility and safety. I have also lived in two households with cats and have cared for a total of five cats, managing feeding routines, litter care, and individual temperaments. About: I've been taking care of a few different dogs, sitting and walking them. I'm fairly new to this but really caring from the reason. I always try to listen to and ask about each figure a dog has, and remember it to comfort the pet as much as I can. I'm working from home as a freelance, so basically can do pet care most of the times. I could go and visit most of the towns around Sheff by bus or tran. In terms of sitting(at mind), I'm off on Thursday and Friday but flexible on any other days. I get the guideline or any details about the pets and ask questions depending on the environments, and try to give some space for the pets to get used to me being around them. Then if I see them feeling comfortable, I carefully approach to them in friendly ways making sure they can have a good time staying with me.

I’m happy to work around your pet’s usual routine to make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and settled while you’re away. As I currently live in student accommodation, I’m unable to offer pet boarding in my own home. However, I’m more than happy to care for your pet in your home, where they can stay in a familiar environment and stick to their usual routine. I also offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting. I’ll always follow your instructions carefully, from feeding and walks to playtime and any special requirements your pet may have. My priority is making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while giving you peace of mind that they’re in trustworthy hands.

About: I have looked after my own dog coco for 11 years now. She is a maltipoo and is a rescue dog and is really playful with all dogs she meets. It would be great for her to have some company here. I go on regular walks to many nature reserves in Yorkshire and know lots of good dog walking spots. I have time off during the year as I'm a teacher, so I’m happy to help out whilst you go on holiday. I will be free and at home doing some work so your dog will not be unsupervised. I know what it’s like to try to find pet care when going away. That’s why I charge a low price. For me, it’s about making it affordable because looking after pets is a privilege and should be fun. I have a spacious house. Coco is very welcoming and very playful. I have a spare bedroom, but happy to accommodate your dog in my bedroom if you wish. I have plenty of green spaces for walks nearby, as well as a spacious garden. I’m happy for my dog to meet yours in advance if that would make you feel more at ease before handover.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since the age of 14. I was the neighbourhood/ family friend dog sitter. Pet sitting in their homes as well as dog walking I was the go to girl. I have an older frenchie, who is crate trained and low energy 90% of the time (loves play and snoozing). If your animals do not get on with others, he has an alternate owner to stay with. Please just let me know. I work from home permanently so your pets needs will fit into my work schedule very easily. Whether I am pet sitting in your home or dropping by, my full attention will be to your animals. If your dogs are ok with others, Charlie would love a park play date / walk. If they do not get along with others (Charlie), I will split my working day, dedicating 4-5hrs at a time (morning or afternoon). Please let me know your preferences. He has alternate arrangements for nighttime sleeping. From playtime, walks and park fun your pet will have a purfect day. My full attention will cater to any special needs. If training is required, please let me know what the training plan, commands etc are so I can make sure your pup is on track.

About: I’ve lived in Sheffield for a few years and love getting out with dogs. I’m always keen to learn what works best for your pet so I can make sure they’re happy, comfortable, and well looked after 😊 I’m available most days at the moment as I’m studying medicine at uni. I live in a flat but would take your dog out regularly and for walks as specified by you :) I live alone so your pet will be the centre of my attention. We will always just walk the two of us, and I will follow any specific requirements you provide.

About: Grew up on a farm, had multiple dogs from a young age; patterdale terriers and a German Wirehaired Pointer. Ever since, I've always loved playing and taking care of my friends' and family's dogs. My favourite was the runt of the litter of one of my mum's dogs who I persuaded my mum to keep, and she turned into a lovely ball of fluffy fun who was always by my side! I am currently very free and available so I can accommodate any time you require, especially weekdays. I do have less flexibility over the weekend. I'm very safety conscious, taking your needs and requirements into consideration. I do live in a 4th floor flat with no lift with pet owners on each floor so I will ensure your dog is on a lead and under control whilst going up and down the stairs.
