I have been around lots of spaniels and frenchies mainly. I can provide a hour walk on the morning before I go to work, I get a 1 hour break so will pop home (live 10 minutes from work) take your dog for a walk/ toilet and then evening walk! About: Me and my family, since I was very little, we were taking care of rescue dogs and cats (I’m coming from Greece in which there are many stray animals) until they would find a family. I have a lot of experience with any kind of breed, age and health conditions as many of them needed medication to get healthy again. About: I have done pet sitting on and off as a side project for many years, including while living in Los Angeles, as you can see from my profile. I had been travelling and pet sitting until recently settling in Sheffield. I work from home and love having animals around. I do have a back garden so there's some outside space here, and many parks close by for walks. I would usually expect that people bring their own litter tray for cats and poo bags for dogs but if that is unusual let me know. I have a relaxed home, animals are welcome on furniture, but of course if that clashes with home realities and you would prefer they don't, just let me know.
About: Your dog will be in experienced hands: I trained our pet Spaniel when I was a teenager and have had my own cats and dog ever since. My own Labrador, Dexter, will keep your dog company during their stay. I toilet and crate-trained him from twelve-weeks old, and since then taught him off-lead recall and on-lead courtesy (less pulling). Dogs hosted so far have joined me on day trips by train to other cities and come out in the Peak District with Dexter to enjoy nature hiking. To ensure the best experience and compatibility, we'll do a meet-and-greet between Dexter and your own dog, to make sure your dog's stay maximally enjoyable. I'm currently writing-up my PhD so love hiking in the Peak District with Dexter (and giving him opportunities to swim) every few days, so high energy dogs in need of long walks are welcome. My home is spacious with plenty of areas for your dog to relax or enjoy. And I'm home full-time during sits or boards.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since the age of 14. I was the neighbourhood/ family friend dog sitter. Pet sitting in their homes as well as dog walking I was the go to girl. I have an older frenchie, who is crate trained and low energy 90% of the time (loves play and snoozing). If your animals do not get on with others, he has an alternate owner to stay with. Please just let me know. I work from home permanently so your pets needs will fit into my work schedule very easily. Whether I am pet sitting in your home or dropping by my full attention will be to your animals. If your dogs are ok with others, Charlie would love a park play date / walk. If he is welcome to sleep over he is strictly crate trained and will be dropped home after breakfast and morning walks. Let me know your preferences. He will never be left with your pet without me there. We respect your home and pet’s comfort. Caring for your fur-baby will fit perfectly into my working from home (full time) day. Neighbours and friends love to drop their cats to when they’re away. I am genuine friends with cats. I am good at using reward mechanisms to play with dogs and interact with cats. I’m currently looking for jobs, so I have plenty of time to play and take care of cats and dogs. I am free all day from 8am to 8pm, either work day or weekend. I can feed them twice per and going for park walks. At my parent’s home, I feed them not only processed factory food but also with fresh fruits vega and cooked meat to keep them healthy and happy. They love my massages when I tidy up their hairs.

“Richard responded promptly to a last minute booking to look after Bamboo . First we met for a meet and greet and he immediately impressed me with his relaxed and friendly manner towards me and Bamboo. I dropped Bamboo off at the agreed time which was an early start but no problem for Richard. He communicated well throughout Bamboos stay with pictures and videos of what they were getting up too. Bamboo came back a very happy boy and had even been given a bath! I would not hesitate to use Richard’s services again. About: I’ve had dogs all my life and have taken on the shared responsibility of being a dog owner since I was a child. I adore their company and have had two chihuahuas of my own. I have experience with elderly dogs who require multiple medications a day. I have a home studio where I do clients nails. I do 2-4 clients a day so I have plenty time to gap fill with dog walks/cuddles. I’m flexible as my schedule differs day to day. I have a small, secure garden with a grass patch round the front. I have a little old man chihuahua who gets on with most dogs but if he doesn’t, my partner works from home full time so can keep him home while I walk your dog :)

About: My family have had dogs for most of my life and I currently have a 2 year old goldador. Some family members have cats which they ask me to look after from time to time at their home since they are quite anxious cats and don't like moving much. Whenever I have been asked to look after a pet I have prioritised their needs, followed any instructions on specific care they required such as providing medication and have kept the owners updated daily. When walking dogs I put their needs first e.g., if it's a hot day I plan a route early morning or later in the evening, more shaded routes where, preferably, there's a water source for them to immerse themselves in and any roads so to avoid burning paws. I also ensure I pack for the route: plenty of water and some tasty treats! I am also first aid trained for dogs so you're dog will be in great hands should anything go awry. I'm available for boarding on weekends starting from Friday afternoons to Sunday evenings. I typically go into the peak district but I'm happy to go for more frequent shorter walks in more local parks if that suits your dog more. Sometimes we go for days out somewhere different for example to National Trust sites since most of them allow dogs! Let me know if your dog isn't comfortable with car rides and I can happily plan walks that don't require the car! If your dog is comfortable with car rides I have a back seat liner/hammock with a seatbelt for dogs to clip to their collar / harness. I have a fenced garden and a friendly golden / labrador cross called Leo to keep your fur baby company! I can easily crate your dog if needed or if you have a bed or crate that they are more comfortable with then I'm happy to use it to make my home more accommodating. Leo has lots of toys that he is always sharing which we rotate through to keep them exciting. Though we don't let dogs upstairs, they're allowed on furniture in the living room and we provide blankets to make them comfortable, toilet breaks every few hours, unless the weather is nicer and the garden door is open for them to come in and out as they please, and plenty of water at all times. I also carry a dog first aid kit in the car just in case.
About: We’re Claire and Liam. We’ve both grown up with dogs and currently have 2 rescue dogs ourselves. We love taking our dogs everywhere we go, our lives very much revolve around them! We do activities like canicross, scentwork and mantrailing with them. We’d love to help you look after your dog while you’re away and will bring them along to all our adventures. We both work from home with flexible working arrangements. Our dogs have at least an hour walk with toilet breaks throughout during the weekdays and much longer during the weekends. Our garden will be fully fenced this summer and our 2 dogs can keep yours company. We also have a separate space for your dog if they prefer this at any point.
