Hi, I’m Amy, and I’d love to look after your pet!
Ever since I was a baby I’ve always been around animals, whether it be cats, puppies, or difficult dogs, I’ve always loved animals. Lenny, my parents dog, I trained to be responsive to my instructions and have a wide array of tricks. I would love to give all the love I have for my own dog to someone else’s whilst I’m here at university!

Amy was great with our black lab! He was clearly very comfortable and at ease with her and had a lovely time while she house sat overnight for us. Amy kept us up to date with his walks and how he had been. I would highly recommend Amy.
I left my 4-month-old lurcher puppy, Ruby, in the capable hands of Amy and her partner for my first proper weekend away from her over the August Bank Holiday. Unfortunately, Ruby struggled to settle in my absence and experienced a great deal of separation anxiety. Nevertheless, Amy kept me constantly updated throughout her stay and did an excellent job managing a very challenging situation. Communication was fantastic; Amy was detailed in her updates, easy to contact, and always kept me informed of any changes. I am grateful for the patience, understanding, and care that Amy and her partner showed Ruby throughout her stay. Since returning home, Ruby has been a happy and contented pup, which reflects the care she received while she was away from home. I would thoroughly recommend Amy to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional dog sitter.

Amy has grown up with dogs all her life. She is a huge animal lover from small creatures to large animals and has a particular love of giraffes, although I'm sure she won't be required to pet sit one of those!! Amy is a kind, gentle young woman and will love and look after your pet as if it were her own. She is responsible and trust-worthy, she will follow your lead in looking after your pet. Amy has her own family dog a black Labrador called Lenny so is used to walking large dogs. She understands dog/owner etiquette when out walking.

Schedule
I am currently a full-time teacher, so I am available to look after/walk your animals on Friday, Saturday or Sunday at any time, as well as in the evenings throughout the week.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a secure first-floor flat with access to a private balcony. I don’t have a garden, however, I live extremely close to local parks and have access to them 24/7, so your pet will still have plenty of opportunities for outdoor time and exercise. The flat is secure, and there is no way your pet would be able to escape.
A typical day
I live right next to lots of local parks and love waking so I can provide many short walks during the day. However, I really love walking in the Peaks, so if your dog is able to, I would love to take them on a long walk somewhere in the Peaks.
