Hi, I’m Amy, and I’d love to look after your pet!
Ever since I was a baby I’ve always been around animals, whether it be cats, puppies, or difficult dogs, I’ve always loved animals. Lenny, my parents dog, I trained to be responsive to my instructions and have a wide array of tricks. I would love to give all the love I have for my own dog to someone else’s whilst I’m here at university!

Amy has grown up with dogs all her life. She is a huge animal lover from small creatures to large animals and has a particular love of giraffes, although I'm sure she won't be required to pet sit one of those!! Amy is a kind, gentle young woman and will love and look after your pet as if it were her own. She is responsible and trust-worthy, she will follow your lead in looking after your pet. Amy has her own family dog a black Labrador called Lenny so is used to walking large dogs. She understands dog/owner etiquette when out walking.
I can’t say enough great things about Amy, when it comes to looking after my dog, Ouzo. Amy has always been reliable, loving, and incredibly attentive whenever she’s cared for Ouzo. From the moment they met, it was clear that Amy has a natural way with animals. Ouzo is usually a bit shy around new people, but she warmed to Amy instantly. She has a calming presence and a genuine love for dogs, which put me completely at ease leaving Ouzo in her care. Amy goes above and beyond, not only ensuring that Ouzo gets her exercise but also engaging her with playtime and even some training. I really appreciate how she pays attention to Ouzo’s needs and routines, always keeping me updated with photos and messages. It’s such a relief to know my furry friend is in safe and caring hands with Amy. I highly recommend Amy W. to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter or dog walker. She’s simply the best!

Schedule
I am currently a full-time teacher, so I am available to look after/walk your animals on Friday, Saturday or Sunday at any time, as well as in the evenings throughout the week.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a secure first-floor flat with access to a private balcony. I don’t have a garden, however, I live extremely close to local parks and have access to them 24/7, so your pet will still have plenty of opportunities for outdoor time and exercise. The flat is secure, and there is no way your pet would be able to escape.
A typical day
I live right next to lots of local parks and love waking so I can provide many short walks during the day. However, I really love walking in the Peaks, so if your dog is able to, I would love to take them on a long walk somewhere in the Peaks.
