About: My name is Adele and my partner is Mike, We have over 15 years experience owning large breed dogs - German shepherd and Labrador. After loosing our gorgeous girl at 13 just before Christmas 2023 we are looking to provide a loving homely environment for any families who need care for their fur babies. Our dogs meant the world to us and where part of our family, due to work commitments we are not able to get another just yet but hoping to help other families providing a temporary home when they need it As we both work Monday to Friday ant the moment and currently we are only able to provide care on weekends. We are off work at the weekend we miss having a dog around the house to make a fuss off and take on walks. I’m looking forward to hearing the sound of paws around the house again We have a large fenced garden which is decked and paved for the dogs to enjoy when here. We also live a few minuets walk away from a playing field and a short drive away from Preston park where we used to enjoy taking our Labrador on early morning walks

About: I was fortunate enough to grow up with a dog in my family home, Daisy the Paterdale terrior. She passed away in 2019 living for 14 happy years. I have experience of caring for elderly dogs and understan their unique and different needs. I currently have two dogs Willow the beagle who is 7 and Winnie the Dachshund who is 1 year and 10 months old. My partner my Willows second owner, he got her when she was 10 months old. Willow can be timmid and nervours around new people and certain surroundings so I have experience in recognising this behaviour and making sure she feels as comfortable as possible. I've had Winnie since she was a puppy and have been training her ever since. I'm currently working from home so I'm able to give fur-babies all the love, attention and care they deserve. My working pattern is 0900-1700, I am avaliable to walk dogs between 0600-0830, 1200-1230 and from 1700 onwards. I'm able to let dogs out regulary throughout the day for toilet breaks and have ample breaks during the working day to give attention, love and play time. I have a fenced garden with plenty of space for dogs to run around and two fur-babies of my own that love the company of other dogs to play with and snuggle on the sofa with underneath a blanket. During the day the dogs have the freedome to roam around downstairs in the living room, dining room and kitchen with 24hr access to fresh water, toys, an open crate if they want to have their own space and pletnly choices of chairs and sofas to chill and snooze on.

About: I’ve grew always up having pets including dogs, cats, gunea pigs, hampsters, rats etc. Since moving out of my family home I had 2 dogs, that both passed away now. I loved them so much. I thought I could help others to care for their dogs. I am at home most of the time, so I have plenty of time to look after your dog, and take him/ them for walks I have a good size fenced garden, and plenty of space at home to play, or to rest and take a nap when needed .

When I leave my "baby" with her I know that he is going to be safe, fed well looked after chilled and relaxed. She studied the nature and the psychological process of those little creatures: the way they have to be bathed , groomed, educated , fed , walked etc. She is kind , lovely and super conscious about him. He has also gone out of his way to help if I needed them checking on when I have been out . Micheal is very friendly and caring to humans and pets nothing is too much trouble for him. I feel that if you let him help or look after your pets they are in safe hands .”

“Shoshone is a highly trustworthy woman who has a great passion and care for dogs. Shoshone has walked my dog multiple times for me in times of need, and has also stayed overnight in my home too look after my dog I never worry about anything when Shoshone is with her, and my dog gets very excited to see her, Shoshone handles my dog with great care and has a lovely bond with her, we’ve never had any problems with anything, there is no one else I would go too for dog walking or to stay in my home too look after my dog.”

About: I have always loved dogs and looking after those belonging to my friends. In 2021 I was able to get my own pup, Winnie. I didn’t think it would be possible but I now love dogs even more than before. I really enjoy taking them for walks and taking care of them. I have experience training my puppy as well as others, and always bring fun and excitement to a dogs day. Currently have a lot of spare time during the week and weekend so am happy to fit my schedule around your needs. Let’s chat and see what works best for you! In my home we have an enclosed garden so safety is guaranteed. I can look after your dog however you prefer. Whether that be to go for walks, play at home or in your garden, I am very easy.

“Rogan, our very energetic Rhodesian Ridgeback has been going to Steve’s for over a year now. As a pup Rogan could be quite destructive and although he was walked daily sometimes it just wasn’t enough. After spending the day socialising with other dogs and running on the fells with the Not just Al pha dogs pack Rogan was definitely getting the exercise he needed. Rogan’s behaviour improved and Steve even helped with lead work and walking to heel. Rogan can be very stubborn and is not a fan of the rain, so sometimes he needs a bit of convincing to go to doggy day care. Steve is always very patient and kind, he gets to know the dogs and it’s clear he cares about them all. I would definitely recommend Steve and Not just Al pha dogs.”
