“Sarah was fantastic and our collie x Staffie, Nova, absolutely loved her and Lola. We had great communication throughout with regular updates of how she was getting on. From the first introduction Nova was happy around Sarah and settled into her lovely flat, swapping humans almost instantly. Thank you so much Sarah 💕”

“Michael was lovely and understood the importance of sticking as closely as possible to Otto's normal routine during his stay. He sent regular photo and message updates as requested and my boy just settled straight away in his home (which is lovely and quiet). I've already rebooked several times and I'm sure Michael and my Otto will be the best of friends. Thank you Michael, the best possible alternative to kennels”

“We could not recommend Emily more highly and will absolutely be using her services again in the future. It is obvious that she loves dogs and she asked lots of questions to tailor things for Alfie, who looked like he had the absolute best time! Emily also sent lots of lovely updates and photos which gave us peace of mind whilst away. He was completely happy and relaxed in Emily’s care, playing away and even dreaming! Emily is an extremely reliable, trustworthy and caring sitter. Thank you so much!”

“Steven clearly cares about the dogs hes looking after and that showed in the relaxed dog that I collected after the sit. We had been for an initial meeting ahead of the booking when we met Steven and his lovely family; the fact that Bear didnt want to leave was enough for me to show she was happy and i didnt have anything to worry about. Steven sent me photos of their walk and my dog looked relaxed and enjoying her time with him and his own dog Harley. I would certainly recommend Steven as an attentive and caring sitter.”

About: I have been looking after animals for most of my life, and would be happy to help with other peoples furry friends. I have a 3 legged cat and a young (ish) friendly dog. I like an active house, and am always happy to go out for extra walks, and will get out in any weather for some fresh air and a run around. I have experience with dogs of all ages and from small to large breed, and am confident and calm with nervous dogs or those who have come from rescue and need a little more special tlc. I can look after your loved furry friend Monday to Friday in the afternoons and evenings in term time with more flexibility in the school holidays. The family pets have the run of the house, and also have an outdoor run to go into when the weather is good. Our dog has a blast out in the woods in the morning before breakfast to work up an appetite and then a walk or run later in the day. We also have a large garden and attached woodland for exploring and to keep active brains busy
“Our 9-month-old whippet/staffy mix had a great time with Kelly! Her three other dogs kept him entertained, and Kelly sent us daily updates and cute photos from the dog park. He came home happy, healthy and tired! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kelly to anyone else who is looking for a really capable sitter.”

“Katherine was amazing with Charlie. I felt at rest as soon as I met her, she send me photos and videos and when I picked up Charlie he didn’t want to come back 🙂🙂 Will definitely book again and very pleased with the service Thank you”

“Jordan was fantastic, I only booked the evening before and she was so accommodating and easygoing, especially as it was short notice. Doris has a wonderful time, I received regular updates which was great. I’d happily send Doris back anytime. 🩷”

“Extremely happy leaving Luna with Joanne. Very capable and reassuring. Luna was well cared for and looked after. I am sure she will be visiting again soon. Highly recommended. Many thanks.”

“Best dogsitter ever! From the moment I met Alice it was clear that she loved dogs and knew how to look after them properly! I would not hesitate to leave Gandalf with her and her family again. I had regular updates and she was not phased by some of the behavioural issues I mentioned before his stay. I returned to a very happy and chilled dog!”

“I was extremely nervous about the process, however, Sian made me feel at ease and confident in leaving my pup in her care. When I collected my pup, she was super relaxed and had evidently had a good time.”

“Wendy has once again been absolutely wonderful with Tado, loved the updates and knew he was in great hands. He adores his stays and I can't say thank you enough for taking great care of him X”

“June was wonderful, Ventress had a great time. We recoeived video and picture updates which we greatly appreciated! June was very kind and her attention to care was spot on (Ventress is teething so June gave her ice to help sooth her gums). Would definitely recommend and will we definitely will be using June's services again”

“From first getting in touch to picking my dog up at the end, Kathryn has been nothing but flexible, kind and professional. It was a short notice booking and Kathryn accommodated us in every way possible. My dog loved his little holiday and settled straight away, I got regular updates and videos which made it easier. Would absolutely use Kathryn again and would recommend to anyone. Thanks very much for taking care of him.”

“Stan had a wonderful time staying in Becky’s lovely home. Becky really knows how to look after dogs to the highest standard and the ease of communication and feedback was fantastic throughout. I would not hesitate to have Stan stay again. Excellent job. Would give more than 5 stars if I could 🤩”

About: I've always loved dogs and rescued my own dog in Spain over 2 years ago. I have first-hand experience of building trust, patience and creating a safe, loving environment. As a primary school teacher, a nurturing approach to little personalities comes naturally to me. 🐾 Your dog's safety and wellbeing will always be my priority. I'll care for your dog as if they were my own and keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages, so you can relax knowing they're in safe and loving hands. 🫶🏽🐾 📅I have availability for dog walking in the evenings and at weekends. I will always do my best to align my availability to your schedule.🐾 🏡 I can offer drop-ins tailored to you to check in on your fur baby while you are away, making sure they are safe and happy. 🕐30 minute walks can be on 1:1 basis, or if you prefer your dog to have some socialisation and play time, my own friendly dog can join us. 🐕🦺 These walks can take place in your local area, nearby woodlands or nearby parks. 🕐For 60-minute walks, and with your permission, your dog will join me on suitable fun-filled adventures further afield🚗. Please note that my own friendly, well-socialised dog will always accompany 60 minute walks, so this option is best suited to dogs who enjoy the company of other dogs. 🐕🦺🦮 🏡Your dog can board in my home at weekends. They will be treated as part of the family. My own dog is friendly and very energetic/playful. He is willing to share his home with other loving dogs. When dogs stay with me, you can count on an adventure - hiking, forest walks, trips to the beach etc.🌳🌊 I also have a fenced, medium-sized garden, so the dogs will get plenty of opportunities for toilet breaks and outdoor play throughout the day. Your dog's safety and wellbeing will always come first. I have an enhanced DBS check through my role in education, so you can feel confident welcoming me into your home. I'll follow your instructions carefully, respect your home, and stick to your dog's usual routine.

“Madison is brilliant! Would highly recommend her to anyone! I was delighted to receive photos every day and it was easy to see that nacho really enjoyed his time with her. Even cleaning up after his naughty little incidence without asking just shows how great and caring she is! 10/10 for everything!”

About: Starting early, I did work experience in a kennels and animal sanctuary at school and progressed on to Animal Care college at 16. Since then I've had my own animals from dogs to cats, chickens to rats...and looked after many others from dog walking to overnight stays. A qualified teacher now enjoying a slower pace of life! I'm self employed and work as a Jewellery designer and tutor so I am very flexible. I live in a beautiful area away from too many people and traffic. I'm a huge nature fan so I walk every day with my own dog and would love to have more company of the furry variety to enjoy my strolls! I have a 3 year old Border Collie who we had as a puppy from the dogs trust. We also have two cats, a Gecko and three chickens. We live on a private woodland estate. I work self employed so I'm flexible with timings however early mornings are tricky due to school runs. I generally work in my studio from 11-4 but again, I'm flexible. I have a Collie who you could say is spoilt, however I would say he's loved to bits! I also have two cats, one 14 and one 7 as well as 8 hens and 5 cockerels. Huge animal lover who prefers animals to people! 🤣

“Natassha was superb from the get go! She took meticulous care when gathering our cats needs, sent us lots of updates and pictures whilst we were away. As someone who worries whilst away, I can assure you Natassha will put you at ease and ensure your pets are well cared for. We would not hesitate to book with her in the future.”

About: I’ve been caring for cats for many years and genuinely love being around them. I understand that every cat is different — some love attention, while others need space — and I always adapt to their needs. I’m patient, gentle and attentive, and I make sure they’re fed, comfortable and relaxed while you’re away. I’ll also keep you updated so you always know how they’re doing.

About: We commit ourselves to offering the best care possible for your cats by creating a comforting and clean environment. While some cats are very independ we still provide love and attention to them. We are qualified in administering medications and will happily follow any schedule the cats require for their health needs. We always ensure the cats have a pristine environment, especially the litter box which is cleaned at least twice a day.

“Batman had a lovely stay with Jack, Abby and Callie! They had great communication and always sent me photos/videos of Bats enjoying his time with them. He was pretty comfortable right away and got along with Callie quickly. Would recommend and will be reaching out to Jack again!”

About: As a devoted cat owner, I've gained valuable hands-on experience caring for my own cat and understand just how important it is to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment. I've also had the pleasure of caring for other people's cats, taking the time to understand each cat's unique personality, routine, and needs. I've travelled with my own cat, ensuring he remained calm, comfortable, and well looked after throughout the journey. This taught me the importance of patience, preparation, and helping cats feel secure in unfamiliar situations. One of the most rewarding experiences I've had was caring for my cat during an illness. I carefully monitored his behaviour, followed his care routine, made sure he stayed comfortable, and gave him plenty of love and attention throughout his recovery. Thankfully, he recovered quickly, reinforcing the importance of being attentive, gentle, and responsive to a cat's needs. I know that every cat is different—some are playful and affectionate, while others prefer their own space—and I always adapt my care to suit their personality. Working from home allows me to spend plenty of quality time with the cats in my care, so they receive lots of companionship and are never left alone for long periods. I also maintain a clean, calm, and tidy home to create a relaxing environment where cats can feel safe and at ease. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your cat with someone else, and I don't take that responsibility lightly. I'll care for your cat as if they were my own, following their routine closely and providing regular updates and photos so you can enjoy complete peace of mind while you're away.

About: I've worked with cats of all shapes and sizes being a registered veterinary nurse, so providing them with their daily needs is extremely important to me. I have 2 cats of my own, and spend many hours rotating between cuddles and hyper play with toys. I can administer any and all medications needed, and provide daily enrichment

“I was really worried leaving my wee kitty with a stranger. Lucy is an amazing petsitter. I had the possibily to meet her in person before my booking, which confirmed me I took the right choice. Thanks million for your time and help.”

“***Superstars*** Really can’t thank Jane and Lee enough for house sitting for us and looking after our two cats. We have come home to our house being cleaner than when we left and our two cats happy and stress free! - we had regular picture updates of our cats and lines of communication if we needed it. Highly recommended! (Lee even fixed our hoover which broke just before we left)”

“Karolina was amazing all the way. Her helpfulness to get us out of a sticky situation to providing plenty of information about timing, for when we could drop him off. She was amazing at keeping our cat Dave active and entertained. My partner was delighted to receive plenty of pictures and videos of our happy cat playing and being swamped with attention”

About: I’ve been pet sitting for the past 18 months for many of my family and friends. I have previous experience working in a vets and also have owned many pets myself. I can care for your more senior friends with the care and adoration they require and after having a senior pup myself I know that they may need some extra love and attention! Family and friends have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe and play with their beloved friends and I would be honoured to do the same for you! I’m currently working part time so have plenty of time to care for your pets. I am available 7 days a week with the exception of 4pm-8pm Monday-Wednesday. I will try to stick to your usual routine as much as possible while staying with your pets. I would also be happy to crate your pet if you require.

“Lauren has been such a find! Having never used pet services before, it’s a bit worrying handing your keys over to a stranger and having them look after your pets. Lauren made me feel at ease from the start. I’ve had photo and text updates on the status of my pet, which has been reassuring. She has also been very accommodating. My life, at present, is a little chaotic and she has been very patient with me, changing dates, last minute requests etc. I’m really delighted with the service she has offered and will definitely use her again in the future.”

About: As a lifelong dog enthusiast, I've traveled the world volunteering and caring for pups. This has been for friends, family and neighbours in Hong-Kong, Nepal, Brunei and the United Kingdom! Additionally, for the past 2 years, I've been an active volunteer on 'Borrow My Doggy', where I've found great joy in dog-sitting and walking my furry friends. While I don't have any pets of my own, spending time with dogs brings me immeasurable happiness. Their energy, loyalty, and companionship are unmatched, and I'm committed to providing them with the best care possible. I have glowing references from trusted owners who can attest to my exceptional dog-sitting abilities, so you can rest assured your beloved pooch is in loving hands with me. Due to a recent lay off from work, my current schedule is very flexible, as a result I am able to provide unparalleled comfort & convenience in caring for your beloved pet. As a result, I can most definitely house sit and dog walk your precious pet any day of the week, 7 days a week and anytime! In fact, I can 100% guarantee that I can adapt to YOUR schedule with ease. Currently, I am living in a spacious apartment enclosed with a private balcony. I only live with my boyfriend and we have no pets. I live seconds away from Clapham Junction one of the biggest train stations in the UK, therefore I have no issues with travel to and from my apartment. Additionally, my apartment is extremely dog friendly and I live next to countless parks with Battersea Park being the most popular one for dogs of all kinds!
“Nicole did an excellent job looking after Indi so that we could have a full day at a music festival. She provided me with photos and updates throughout the day. The updates were very informative and the photos showed that Indi was enjoying herself. Plenty of walks, ball chasing and play with Nicole's friend's dog. All three activities are what Indi likes the best. Nicole also fed Indi as instructed and dropped her off at ours at the end of the day. Everything perfect, we will definitely use her again, thank you so much, Nicole”

About: I’ve had many different pets since I was little. I now have a dog, cat and leopard gecko, both of which I have raised from only a few months old. I look after family pets and have experience being a dog handler and animal keeper!
“Elizabeth was lovely, worked well with the instructions I passed on and kept me up to date with videos and photos. Really lovely care of Poppy who clearly had a lovely time playing with Bailey.”

About: I live in the beautiful village of West Tanfield, surrounded by countryside walks right on my doorstep. I’m lucky to have access to a lovely river loop walk, open fields nearby, and regular trips to Thornborough Henges, which is fully fenced and perfect for safe exploring. I work from home most of the time, so your dog will have plenty of company and a calm, relaxed environment throughout the day. They’re more than welcome to join me in my home office — keeping me company as the “office dog” for the day. I’ve had dogs all my life and recently lost my beautiful black Labrador, Ralph, in January. While I’m not quite ready for another dog of my own, I would love to open my home to yours and give them the same love and care. My aim is to provide a true “home away from home” — dogs are welcome to relax freely in the house and garden, and be part of a safe, comfortable environment. I’ll always treat them as if they were my own. I work from home most days, so your dog will have plenty of company and care. I can only accept bookings when I’m working from home. I only take one dog at a time. Dogs are treated like family and I like them to feel relaxed, with free roam, sofas, beds, a garden fully secure, and countryside walks.
“★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thank you so much for looking after Odie! We were down for a wedding and it was so nice to not have to worry about the dog for the day. Was also lovely to have frequent photos and updates. Would definitely recommend. :-)”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life - from Border Collies, German Shepherds and Jack Russels to rescue Heinz’s 57s. We’re an active household where dogs come first, we enjoy daily walks/runs and lots of play time. My current bestie, Fly, has a lifelong medical condition so I’m comfortable managing regular medication etc. She’s a Border Collie and enrichment is an important part of her day, including regular training. I work from home, I work downstairs near to my dog. We go for a 45 minute walk/run at lunch time and have short play breaks throughout the day. We’re an active household and like to be outdoors as much as we can. We have several walks near to our house. I have a secure fenced garden and there is a dedicated dog-room (heated conservatory) just off the kitchen which has direct access to the garden. The door to the garden is open whenever the weather allows it! The dog-room has a sofa, dog bed, water and toys. In the warmer weather there’s plenty of shade in the garden, dog friendly water toys and the kitchen is very cool for the dogs. I do have a dog crate if your pet prefers it. My dog Fly likes to take her time to get to know new friends, but isn’t possessive of her space, toys or food. We have at least one 45 minute walk during the day with off lead time (if suitable for your pet). I take regular half days/early finishes from work and use these for longer walks or days out with my dog - your pet can come on adventures too (see pictures for the types of places we go). I sometimes work away with plenty of notice. I have a primary aged son, he’s at school 8.45-5.30. He’s used to dogs and gives them the space they need.
“Stephen is great! I would definitely recommend, Millie slept all night - she went straight to bed when we got home! A great opportunity to play with other dogs too - a very happy dog and owner. Stephen also contacted me the day before to have a chat about the arrangement which was brilliant and made me feel very comfortable taking Millie there. All round great experience - thankyou!”

About: I have grown up around dogs. I’ve had four of my own, training them as puppies and nursing 3 of them through their senior years. My home is a two minute walk to the river and is right next to a forest, set in the centre of a golf course, far from busy traffic, meaning your pet will have lots of safe and exciting walks. This is the perfect place for pets! I am an artist who works from home so will have lots of time to play with your pup. I love walking around my local area and your Good Boys and Girls will love it too. I have lawned front garden (un-fenced) and a large fully enclosed rear courtyard. I have one friendly, playful little dog to keep your pet company.
About: My wife and I both grew up in houses that always had dogs although when we moved in together we always felt too busy to get our own. Luckily for us, mum and dad's dogs tended to stay over whenever they went away. We got the fun part of being around a dog, and the companionship that brings, but also the freedom not be tied down once they returned home. Now that I've retired, I'm free weekdays, weekends, evenings, extended stays or even staying at the dog's place if that was needed. Ideally I like seeing the same dog, or dogs, more than once so I can feel they see me as familiar and a small part of their lives. I usually miss them when they go home! We live right on the former railway line which is now a path and so is ideal. I love walking although am restricted to a steady pace because I suffer with ILD (lung disease). I can do fairly lengthy walks although can't go fast and hills really slow me down. This means that a small to medium sized (or an older) dog is my best fit although I have looked after dogs as young as one. Retirement means more availability so I'm ideally suited to being around for a dog when you're busy. I prefer to keep the flexibility that caring for other people's dogs provides, which is why I'm not looking to have a dog of my own full time. The fact I have the lung disease means it's best for me to keep active as much as I'm able and having a dog around gives the push to walk multiple times a day. We have very small garden which is fenced off but mostly it'll be walks to get out and about. We have an admittedly small 3 bedroom house so a small to medium size dog would fit best. The dog will sleep in the living room preferably in a bed provided by the owners. Although this site asks whether we'd allow the dog to be in furniture or beds, I'd prefer to stick with whatever it's used to at home.

About: I have loved and cared for dogs my entire life and have grown up in a dog loving home. My family has a French Bulldog who is now 12 years old, and I have been closely involved in his care throughout his life from a little pup all the way to a senior dog. I regularly look after him when my family are away, ensuring his daily routines are maintained and that he feels comfortable and well cared for. In addition to this, I frequently care for other family pets while they are on holiday, providing walking, feeding, and general day to day care. I am attentive, patient, and reliable, and I understand how important it is for owners to feel confident that their pets are safe, happy, and cared for as they would be at home. I am available for dog boarding, doggy daycare, dog walking and drop in visits any day of the week. I can organise longer stays/visits upon request. For those that choose dog boarding/dog sitting, I live with my partner who will also be in the house as he works at home full time. I provide a calm, safe, and attentive environment both in my home and in a pet owner’s home. In my home, dogs have plenty of room to relax and I also have a large, fully fenced garden where they can safely play and get fresh air. Outside of my home, I have access to lots of green spaces, which allows me to take dogs on regular walks in quiet surroundings. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I follow all instructions carefully to maintain their normal routines, including feeding, walking and any specific care needs.
About: I (Emily) have been a dog Walker / sitter for over 16 years, looking after every sort of dog, I love them all! My husband (Sam) and I have done home boarding on and off over the years but we recently lost our beautiful dog Lola, heartbroken and with a very quiet house we would love to start home boarding again. Your dog would bring us so much comfort and be absolutely spoilt rotten! My husband works from home full time and I am a dog Walker so your dog gets the best of both worlds, if they prefer to stay at home they will have the company of my husband and if they love their walks I can take them to work with me. Whether we are taking care of your pet in our home or yours, their safety is always our main priority. We will want to know as much about your pet as possible so we can give them the best care, making sure they will always be safe and happy.
“Jordan must've been brilliant because my dogs didn't seem that bothered about coming home with me when I arrived to pick them up. Everything was very relaxed, easy and stress free. Thanks for keeping them company.”
About: With 21 years of hands-on pet care experience, I offer calm, home-style boarding and sitting. I can support basic training habits (sit, stay, lead manners) and I’m happy to send frequent updates so you feel confident while you’re away. I work remotely, so I’m at home most of the day and can give pets plenty of attention, comfort and supervision. This means I can stick closely to your pet’s routine for feeding, toilet breaks, play and rest. I’m flexible with drop-off and pick-up times (with notice), and I’m available for weekday and weekend bookings depending on dates. “We have left our two dogs (a Puppy and an adult dog) with Smarika while sightseeing in London for Daycare on 2 days in a row. We met Smarika directly infront of HMS Belfast and infront of the Tower of London. Smarika took very well care of both, handled them professionally and was very receptive and caring regarding the needs of the dogs. While caring for the dogs, Smarika sent lots of pictures and information about the dogs wellbeing. Smarika is very trustworthy, polite and professional and satisfied our needs 100%. I would definitely recommend her to everyone who is looking for a loving care of their dog(s).”

About: Since childhood, I have always had a family dog, so being around and caring for dogs has been a big part of my life. I’ve been volunteering most weekends at Holly Hedge Dog Sanctuary, whenever my work schedule allows. During my time there, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of dogs, each with different personalities and needs. This experience has not only shown my love for animals but has also helped me develop a strong confidence in looking after dogs and understanding their behavior. It's something I really enjoy and feel passionate about. My work schedule changes each week, so feel free to send me a message! Your dog will always be my top priority, and I will make sure to find time to give them the attention they deserve. I’m currently living in military accommodation on Catterick Camp. While my living area isn’t very spacious, I can guarantee that your dog will receive plenty of attention and care. I’ll make sure to take them out for walks in a secure and safe environment where they can enjoy themselves. Your dog's well-being is important to me, and I want to ensure they have the exercise, love and attention they need.

About: With 21 years of hands-on pet care experience, I offer calm, home-style boarding and sitting. I’m experienced with energetic dogs, anxious pets and seniors, and I stick closely to your instructions and routine. Safety comes first: secure doors/gates, lead rules, and careful supervision. Because I work from home, pets are not left alone for long periods and are supervised throughout the day. I keep a calm, safe home environment and follow your instructions closely (feeding routine, walking preferences, medication, and house rules). I’m careful with doors and safety checks, and I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you feel reassured while you’re away.
About: I’ve had dogs around me since childhood, growing up with a black Labrador, Angel, and a Great Dane, Blue, so caring for dogs has always been a part of my life. While I can’t have a dog permanently right now, dog sitting is the next best thing! I’m very attentive and make sure every dog I care for feels right at home, safe and loved. I enjoy taking dogs on short or long walks based on their needs, and if they’re the cuddly type, I’m more than happy to pamper them with affection. Check out my testimonials to see how happy my furry clients (and their owners) have been! I work fully remotely so I am fully flexible on when you need pet care. This means I can have dogs with me on any day of the week, I am able to take them on walks before I start work online, on my lunch break and after work. My garden is fully fenced which they can run around in, I can cater for a crate in the house if needed, whatever they prefer. There are lots of great walking routes located around the house including a nature reserve just 5 minutes away. I drive so am able to take the dog's place/help with picking up and dropping off if needed. Please note the house is quite open plan so would prefer a crate to be available to use where possible.
“Our dog Pepe loved his waiks with Megan and co! Wouldn't hesitate to ask Megan D to help us out againl A lovely lady who genuinely loves animals and is also very professional in her approach. Thank you!”

About: We have taken care of many animals some on a long term basis and other for just a day. We love having them to stay. I currently spend mornings walking the dogs and spend afternoons ironing peoples clothes at home so I have plenty of time to spend with animals. My garden is very secure and is fully fenced. I have a large living area for the pets to relax and they are rarely alone.
About: I have always had pets in my family home and really like to be around animals. Ask me any questions you have and book your pet a great holiday! I will update you frequently on how your pet is doing 😊 I can work around your needs and I will happily discuss the hours and days :) message me and we will pick the best time to suit you and your pet 😊 Safety always comes first! Please inform me of any additional needs / things that I need to know about and that I need to account for :)
About: Since young I have walked dogs here and there for others & as of recent have looked after a local man’s lovely cat at his house for a few weekends. I’m his reliable cat sitter & can be yours too! I’m more than happy to send frequent pictures & videos of your loved one whenever you want & will more often than not provide my own treats for them too! I work 3-4 days per week so frequently have days & nights that I can be caring for animals consistently! I work both days & nights and am flexible around this! I am more than happy to set up camp within your home or close too in order to be close and safe to your pets at all times! Depending on the animal & their care needs I may be able to house them in my own home however I do rent & have to be careful in terms of keeping the place clean!
