About: I’ve grown up and taken care of dogs near enough all my life, whether that’s for friends, family or colleagues and dogs ranging from working cockers and springers to Irish terriers to German Shepherds, puppies too. I’m an active person with fields and walks a stones throw, also a fenced back garden and no other pets. Any needs for your dog I’m happy to discuss and accommodate as best as I can. I’m currently full time, however some days working from home and when I’m not I only work 10 minutes from home so can regularly pop in if I’m not already at home. Dogs have free roam to the ground floor of my house and fenced garden. Preferably dogs crate trained, however happy to accommodate if not. But dogs are not allowed upstairs so they will need to be happy sleeping by themselves downstairs if boarding.

We had been for an initial meeting ahead of the booking when we met Steven and his lovely family; the fact that Bear didnt want to leave was enough for me to show she was happy and i didnt have anything to worry about. “Holly took great care of Pepper at very short notice due to a family member being ill. She was extremely accommodating and caring and thoughtful. Holly kindly sent lots of updates and photos of Pepper having the time of his life during his stay. He had the best time - running around with his ball, playing with Gary the Gull, meeting and playing with his new buddy Ronnie, swimming at Easby Abbey. I knew Pepper was in extremely capable hands from the moment I dropped him off. He was immediately at ease and that had a huge impact on me. I’ve already arranged for Pepper to go back to see Holly in a couple of weeks and Holly would be my go-to person for all future stays for Pepper. Thank you so so much Holly.”
About: I’ve been around animals since I was 8, growing up with a Jack Russell cross and a Staffy, and I’ve always loved caring for animals. I often look after my friends golden retrievers so also used to being around larger dogs. I now have my own 2-year-old British Shorthair, Mimi, who is neutered and very much part of the family. My partner has also grown up around a variety of animals, so we both have plenty of experience and genuinely enjoy being around pets. I’m comfortable caring for senior dogs who may need a little extra attention and understand that every dog has different needs and routines. I enjoy walking and spending time outdoors, so having a friendly dog along for the walk is a bonus! We’re looking forward to helping other pet owners out and giving their pets plenty of care, attention and cuddles while they’re away. I currently work full-time in marketing, which gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the week. I work full time, however I will be taking your dogs into work with me where it is a dog friendly environment. They will receive 24hr care. There are fields and woodlands nearby for walks. I will tailor my care for you pets. I have a good size house with a fully fenced garden. The fence is 6ft so they will be secure. Your pets will be able to roam free, however I do have a crate for any animals that prefer to sleep in them or younger ones that might need time outs to continue crate training.

About: My Experience with Cats I’ve always had a real soft spot for cats, and I’ve had rescue cats of my own, so I understand that every cat is completely different — especially when it comes to their personality, confidence and routine. While some cats are very independ we still provide love and attention to them. We are qualified in administering medications and will happily follow any schedule the cats require for their health needs. I’m lucky to have access to a lovely river loop walk, open fields nearby, and regular trips to Thornborough Henges, which is fully fenced and perfect for safe exploring. I work from home most of the time, so your dog will have plenty of company and a calm, relaxed environment throughout the day. They’re more than welcome to join me in my home office — keeping me company as the “office dog” for the day. I’ve had dogs all my life and recently lost my beautiful black Labrador, Ralph, in January. While I’m not quite ready for another dog of my own, I would love to open my home to yours and give them the same love and care. My aim is to provide a true “home away from home” — dogs are welcome to relax freely in the house and garden, and be part of a safe, comfortable environment. I’ll always treat them as if they were my own. I work from home most days, so your dog will have plenty of company and care. I can only accept bookings when I’m working from home. About: Although I have only had my own pet for a year, I have looked after multiple dogs of friends and relatives in my adult life. I have a working male cocker spaniel who I have trained from being a puppy so have had experience of all age ranges. About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was young, much like I have grown up with cats. Animals were a constant in my upbringing, as my family is very fond of animals. Whilst I don’t have dogs of my own due to my cat’s anxiety, I’m lucky enough to have many family and friends with dogs I love to look after when I can. I regularly pet sit my parents four dogs (two retrievers, two spaniels) who I grew up with since I was eight. They’re energetic, even the old 14 year old Timmy, and due to their countryside home we go on long walks regularly. I haven’t trained any dogs in a few years, as my parents dogs haven’t needed it in about eight years, though I’m more than happy to follow any routine set by yourself. I work from home as a comic artist/ illustrator so my routine is quite flexible. Hey, if I stay at yours you may even end up with a little doodle of your furry friend! However, I do live by three parks within a miles distance of each other, as well as my parents having a long countryside walking trail behind their home in Catterick, which is quiet and great for dog walks. I have quite a spacious car, so if you would like your dog to go for walks in the countryside, I’m happy to travel with them!
About: Since childhood, I have always had a family dog, so being around and caring for dogs has been a big part of my life. About: I’ve grown up and taken care of dogs near enough all my life, whether that’s for friends, family or colleagues and dogs ranging from working cockers and springers to Irish terriers to German Shepherds, puppies too. I’m an active person with fields and walks a stones throw, also a fenced back garden and no other pets. Any needs for your dog I’m happy to discuss and accommodate as best as I can. I’m currently full time, however some days working from home and when I’m not I only work 10 minutes from home so can regularly pop in if I’m not already at home. Dogs have free roam to the ground floor of my house and fenced garden. Preferably dogs crate trained, however happy to accommodate if not. But dogs are not allowed upstairs so they will need to be happy sleeping by themselves downstairs if boarding.

He had the best time - running around with his ball, playing with Gary the Gull, meeting and playing with his new buddy Ronnie, swimming at Easby Abbey. I knew Pepper was in extremely capable hands from the moment I dropped him off. He was immediately at ease and that had a huge impact on me. About: I’ve been around animals since I was 8, growing up with a Jack Russell cross and a Staffy, and I’ve always loved caring for animals. I often look after my friends golden retrievers so also used to being around larger dogs. I now have my own 2-year-old British Shorthair, Mimi, who is neutered and very much part of the family. My partner has also grown up around a variety of animals, so we both have plenty of experience and genuinely enjoy being around pets. I’m comfortable caring for senior dogs who may need a little extra attention and understand that every dog has different needs and routines. I enjoy walking and spending time outdoors, so having a friendly dog along for the walk is a bonus! We’re looking forward to helping other pet owners out and giving their pets plenty of care, attention and cuddles while they’re away. I currently work full-time in marketing, which gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the week. My partner also works from home four days a week, so between us, we can easily fit pet care around our working day, whether that’s walks, feeding, playtime or simply giving your pet some company and attention. I am very experienced in administering medications for unwell animals and a dab hand with vet-wrap for those clumsier pups (side effect of owning sighthounds). I work full time, however I will be taking your dogs into work with me where it is a dog friendly environment. They will receive 24hr care. There are fields and woodlands nearby for walks. I will tailor my care for you pets. I have a good size house with a fully fenced garden. The fence is 6ft so they will be secure. Your pets will be able to roam free, however I do have a crate for any animals that prefer to sleep in them or younger ones that might need time outs to continue crate training.

Boris, being a bulldog, has specific food requirements and a set routine, which Jessica and her family adapted to perfectly. We felt completely reassured knowing he was in such good hands. “We have just returned from a 2 week holiday in greece and we're very nervous about leaving our dogs but leaving them with maxine and her family was the best decision. Maxine was terrific she sent photos and videos everyday making our holiday more enjoyable knowing that our fur babies were getting well taken care of. Maxine looked after Heidi and benji as if they were her own we couldn't of asked for a better sitter we think she is amazing and carnt thank her enough. Maxine took the dogs for a few walks leading up to our holiday which was really good to make them feel settled she showed them love and welcomed them into her family.
