About: I have been looking after animals for most of my life, and would be happy to help with other peoples furry friends. I have a 3 legged cat and a young (ish) friendly dog. I like an active house, and am always happy to go out for extra walks, and will get out in any weather for some fresh air and a run around. I have experience with dogs of all ages and from small to large breed, and am confident and calm with nervous dogs or those who have come from rescue and need a little more special tlc. I can look after your loved furry friend Monday to Friday in the afternoons and evenings in term time with more flexibility in the school holidays. The family pets have the run of the house, and also have an outdoor run to go into when the weather is good. Our dog has a blast out in the woods in the morning before breakfast to work up an appetite and then a walk or run later in the day. We also have a large garden and attached woodland for exploring and to keep active brains busy

“This was our first time using Rover and Odie’s first time away from family members we thought kennels wouldn’t be the right solution for Odie as he needs a quiet space being an older dog and after hours of scrolling for the right person we came across Michael. Reading his profile gave us reassurance and confidence that he would be the right person to look after our boy with his home offering a home from home environment, quiet space, meeting routines, patience and understanding of his personality he ticked all the boxes! Michael was quick to respond with any queries before we went ahead with booking. We received lovely pictures and videos of Odie out on walks and snuggled up at his home and he looked very happy and content throughout the whole Holiday.We had no worries or concerns at any point. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again in the future with Michael as he was very kind, approachable and genuinely very caring. “I was so anxious about leaving Pippa but upon meeting Joanne I knew Pippa would be fine. We met beforehand to check that Pippa and Joanne's dog Willow would be happy with one another and this went well. Joanne sent a couple of photos wirh one showing Pippa and Willow snuggled together in one bed! When I collected Pippa I could see the she had been absolutely cared for and Joanne confirmed this when telling me of how the week has gone and the affection spoken about Pippa was lovely. I would have no hesitation in recommending Joanne and she will be the first person I will contact in future. Also, to mention, Pippa sulked all day after we collected her and stayed in her bed. Not even a sausage would tempt her! Thank you Joanne for your care and kindness towards Pippa x”

I'll care for your dog as if they were my own and keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages, so you can relax knowing they're in safe and loving hands. 🫶🏽🐾 📅I have availability for dog walking in the evenings and at weekends. I will always do my best to align my availability to your schedule.🐾 🏡 I can offer drop-ins tailored to you to check in on your fur baby while you are away, making sure they are safe and happy. 🕐30 minute walks can be on 1:1 basis, or if you prefer your dog to have some socialisation and play time, my own friendly dog can join us. 🐕‍🦺 These walks can take place in your local area, nearby woodlands or nearby parks. 🕐For 60-minute walks, and with your permission, your dog will join me on suitable fun-filled adventures further afield🚗. Please note that my own friendly, well-socialised dog will always accompany 60 minute walks, so this option is best suited to dogs who enjoy the company of other dogs. 🐕‍🦺🦮 🏡Your dog can board in my home at weekends. They will be treated as part of the family. My own dog is friendly and very energetic/playful. He is willing to share his home with other loving dogs. When dogs stay with me, you can count on an adventure - hiking, forest walks, trips to the beach etc.🌳🌊 I also have a fenced, medium-sized garden, so the dogs will get plenty of opportunities for toilet breaks and outdoor play throughout the day. Your dog's safety and wellbeing will always come first. I have an enhanced DBS check through my role in education, so you can feel confident welcoming me into your home. I'll follow your instructions carefully, respect your home, and stick to your dog's usual routine.
