1. Andrew L.

“Great guy. Lovely manners. Great greyhound of his own (laid back as they all are). Nice home with enclosed garden. Got regular text updates, photos and videos. My dog came home very happy. That says it all. Thanks again, Andy (and family).”

2. Qin S.
“As the owner of Coco, a very energetic and emotionally sensitive Cockapoo, I can confidently say that Qin is one of the most loving, attentive, and reliable pet carers I’ve ever met. We used to live together in the same house, and during that time, she helped me take care of Coco almost every day. She would wake up early in the morning around 7–8am to let Coco out into the garden for her morning toilet and some fun playtime. When I was unavailable or too busy, she would even go pick up Coco and bring her home to stay, ensuring she was always looked after. Coco is the kind of dog who gets very excited around people she loves — sometimes to the point of peeing inside the house, just from getting a little pat or too much attention! While some people find this frustrating, Qin always responded with kindness and patience, calmly cleaning up and never making Coco feel bad. It made a huge difference in how safe and relaxed Coco felt. On top of the day-to-day care, what really stood out to me was how attentive she was to Coco’s emotional needs. Coco struggles with separation anxiety, especially when I’m not home. Qin would often call out to her, sit with her, and play games to distract her from her stress. I regularly received photos and little updates showing me what Coco was doing throughout the day, which gave me so much peace of mind. Thanks to all the time they spent together, Coco and Qin became very close — they truly built a bond. I always knew that if I couldn’t be with Coco, she was in safe, loving hands. If you’re looking for a pet sitter who is gentle, patient, responsible, and treats your pet like their own, I wholeheartedly recommend Qin. Your dog or cat will not only be well cared for — they’ll be happy.”

10. Sara M.
About: I’ve had dogs in my life since I was a baby, and they’ve been a huge part of it ever since. Growing up, I was always surrounded by dogs, and caring for them quickly became second nature. Over the years, I became the go-to person for neighbours, friends, and family whenever they needed someone they could trust with their pets—whether it was walking, feeding, or simply keeping them company, I’ve always loved giving dogs the care and attention they deserve. That lifelong connection turned into a true passion for animal care. I’ve looked after a variety of dogs over the years, and as a proud dog mum to Luna—my affectionate cockapoo—I completely understand how important it is to find someone who will treat your dog like their own. I offer a calm, loving, home-from-home environment where every pup gets plenty of walks, playtime, and lots of cuddles and one-on-one attention. I’m all about making dogs feel safe, loved, and completely part of the family. During their stay, your dog will enjoy 2–3 walks a day and, on weekends, longer woodland walks or fun games of fetch in an open field with Luna. If the weather’s nice, we’ll head to the beach for a splash in the sea and some sunbathing. I also have a spacious, secure garden where dogs can play freely, explore, or curl up for a nap in the fresh air—often with Luna by their side. Whether it’s indoor snuggles or outdoor fun, your dog will never be short of love, attention, or company. I believe in keeping your dog’s routine as consistent as possible—so I’ll always ask about their usual schedule, habits, and preferences to make sure they feel completely at ease and right at home. I work from home, which means I’m able to give the dogs in my care plenty of attention throughout the day. My flexible schedule allows me to plan regular walks, playtime, and cuddle breaks around my work, so your dog will never be left alone or feel neglected. Whether it’s a mid-morning walk, a lunchtime play session in the garden, or just curling up nearby while I work, they’re always included in my daily routine. Weekends are reserved for longer walks, fun adventures, or beach trips if the weather is nice. Pet care isn’t just something I fit in—it’s a natural and important part of my everyday life. I care for pets in my own home, where they’re treated like part of the family. I provide a calm, loving, and safe environment with plenty of attention, supervision, and cuddles. I never leave dogs unattended for long periods, and because I work from home, they always have company and comfort nearby. My home is clean, secure, and fully dog-friendly, with a spacious garden where they can safely play, explore, or relax. I always take the time to understand each dog’s individual needs, routine, and preferences to help them settle in and feel right at home. Building trust is really important to me—both with the dogs and their owners—so I’m always happy to give updates, photos, and reassurance. Their safety, happiness, and wellbeing are my top priorities at all times.

11. Csilla F.

“I had to organise a day trip to London for work at short notice, and I was unable to find someone to look after my dog overnight and during the day in the whole of Newcastle. Luckily Csilla accepted, and we did a meet&greet the day before. Her family took excellent care of Gizmo, to the point that, once I collected him, he wanted to go back to their home! Highly recommended and will definitely used her again.”

12. Benjamin F.

“Absolutely 5 stars. Thank you so much for looking after Poppy. I received plenty of photos and updates. Ben you and your gf were great hosts to Poppy. She cant wait to stay again :)”

19. Rebecca C.

“Rebecca came to our rescue when we needed a last-minute dog-minder for our beloved pups, Gizmo and Spud. Her warm hospitality and genuine care for our furry friends were truly remarkable. Despite the urgency of our situation, she welcomed them into her home with open arms, ensuring they were comfortable and well taken care of while we tended to our sick friend. We cannot thank her enough for her kindness and flexibility. We wholeheartedly recommend Rebecca to anyone in need of a trustworthy and caring pet-sitter. Kudos to her for going above and beyond!”

20. Angela S.

“I’m not someone who ever gives 5*, but I feel Angie has gone above and beyond with our staffy cross Ruby, she’s not the most obedient dog, needs constant attention and I won’t go into her sleeping habits, but I don’t think Angie or Phil had a full nights sleep whilst she was in their care… yet all the feedback from Angie was so positive (not sure whether Phil’s version would be the same) Thank you so much for treating Ruby so well, she’s been asleep since she came home 😁”
