About: I have an 8 year old working Labrador, so I’ve got experience in keeping active dogs happy and stimulated. I love tailoring walks to suit each dog’s age, energy, and personality. This may include long walks, a game of fetch, or a slow stroll with plenty of sniff breaks. I’m currently studying at university with free days each week and I really miss my own dog while I’m away from home. Caring for other people’s dogs is the perfect way to spend that time doing something I love and getting outdoors. “Shane was fantastic, we had been let down last minute by our dog sitter so we turned to rover and found Shane. we done a meet and greet and was rather nervous about having a stranger come to stay and watch our fur baby but Shane set our minds at ease. He gave us all the information we needed as we’d never used rover before. We were sent regular updates and loads of pictures. We came home and Nelly was so happy and seemed happier than when we had after her with our usual dog sitter. We will definitely be looking to use Shane again. He is a superstar.”

Jane kept us updated throughout with messages and pictures which was really reassuring for us leaving them for the first time. They have only ever been to the kennels twice before, so I was a little nervous but I had no need to be, they were so happy with her, it was like I never existed haha which meant I knew they felt comfortable with her, and could take them out on lovely walks and cuddle up with the on the sofa while I finally enjoyed a night out. I had beautiful photos sent too which just made my heart melt. 10/10 I will be booking again and I highly recommend others to do !”

About: I've had a dog for more than half my life, helping train her from a puppy both within and outside of classes. During this, I have also walked dogs for family and friends regularly. Occasionally I have helped to petsit dogs too, ensuring that there is no hostility between them and my own dog. I am currently on university student, on my summer holiday until September, so I am almost always available to take care of dogs. while I am looking for work, it will be part time or temporary so my schedule will remain incredibly flexible. I can care for dogs however is needed according to their own needs, letting them outside on or off lead, keeping them in certain areas, giving regular walks and keeping them entertained.

“As we were not on the premises at the time that the dog sitter is in our home, our review must be quite restricted! If we’d have had more time,and she more availability,we would have met earlier, and we would have seen her interact completely with the dogs ! However, Christina seems like a lovely woman,she did send us photos which was great,and the house,the dogs (and Christina ) appeared to be fine when we got home.”
