“We have 2 dogs, one is a Rhodesian Ridgeback who is a large dog that has seperation anxiety. Jamie looked after our dogs for 8 hours while we attended a wedding. Jamie is a natural with dogs. Jamie sent photos and reassured us that our dogs were okay. We highly recommend Jamie and will be using Jamie again in the future.”

We received updates whilst we were away and Ashley also sent a little video. I was very worried as we had never left our youngest border before but they were both happy when we got home. About: Always been a family with dogs and cats. I’ve bred cats in the past and walk and look after dogs on a regular basis. I have a Sphynx cat called Ursula Currently working part time as and when so flexible and available 7 days a week any time from 6am to 10pm. Very flexible in regards to working hours I will look after your pet as if it’s my own making sure they are looked after as requested to their individual wants and needs.

Chloe loves taking her dog for various short/long walks and adventure and takes her parents family dogs out aswell. She welcomes friends and family’s dogs to her own home, taking them in and looking after them whenever they need someone to look after their pets.”

About: Hi, I’m Emily, I work within the NHS adult mental health and I love my job. I live in the Sunderland area but work in Durham so can cover both. I have 2 dogs myself, called lightning who is a rescue and is 6years old and storm who is a German Shepard and is 3 years old , they are my best friends. They are very well loved, they get all the treats and best food, and all the toys you can think of. I can cover Sunderland, Washington, Gateshead, Durham, and all the surrounding areas. Love dog snuggles, I am happy to feed them, play with them and give treats, happy to talk them on as many walks as needed ! I am also happy to brush and clean the dogs if needed! I am also more than happy to do sleep overs if you’re away on a holiday I am currently working full time, Monday to Friday 9-5 I don’t work weekend. I can come to see your pets before work and after work. My dogs have a fenced of garden where they play nicely. They are crate trained so no issue if your dog needs to be in a crate. My 4 cats have run of the house and go anywhere they want.

About: I have grown up with dogs and have experience of looking after and handling a variety of breeds and size of dogs. I am able to walk, feed and administer medication. I am a university student looking for part time work. I would love to lend a hand to busy pet owners by providing either walks or home visits. I am available on weekdays (subject to availability) and weekends. I can allow the dog time to get used to me and hopefully build up a good relationship with them by regularly seeing them and taking them for walks

She is conscientious and excellent at following his usual routine, making sure he has his meals and enrichment activities as normal as well as following his training schedule. Hollie is great at keeping me updated with regular photos and messages about what she and Henry have been up to and it is clear that she enjoys spending time with him and puts a lot of effort into caring for him as if he was her own dog.”

About: In my house we have 4 cocker spaniels, incredibly excitable and a real handful. Looking after them for weeks on my own has me ready to deal with any type of dog/s. Committed to making sure any nervous or anxious dogs are fully attended to and properly looked after whilst separated from their owners. I know from my dogs how difficult it can be for dogs to be apart from their owners, so I’ll be there to ensure your dogs remain happy however long you’re apart. Uni Law student so looking for plenty of sits during the holiday periods, ideally over summer. Long stays/short notice stays completely fine with my schedule. I have a reasonable garden at home and take them for run around in there regularly. Taking 4 of them out at the same time is often a handful, but I’ve trained them to have good recall so once we’re off the street no lead is needed. I love spending time with dogs and having them around, really are the best company.

About: I have owned, and loved 3 dogs ranging in sizes and breed. I have loved them in every stage of life from puppies to less mobile and cared for them just as much as anyone could I am a student currently so am very flexible with my hours. Not only do I miss my dogs dearly but am in need of the exercise and stimulation myself! I can easily crate dogs and am not afraid to get a bit muddy if necessary to make sure your dog is well looked after and as safe as possible.

About: I’ve always lived with animals. At home I have three dogs and three cats, I miss them so much! I’m very active and at home I go running with my dog Atlas. We recently raised a Bernese mountain dog puppy, she’s a big girl now! I’m currently a student at Durham university, so I have plenty of free time for pups. In general I can be free most evenings (advance notice please!), and can also do dog walking during the day time. I’m very flexible, so just let me know what you need. I have a small fenced garden and live near lots of lovely woody walks. My house is quiet and calm. I love taking pets out exploring, plenty of walks and cuddles on offer!

About: Hi! Me and my partner have a very friendly and dog-loving pomsky, Kai, who is just desperate for some doggy company on his walks. We are therefore available for walks, doggy day-care and overnight care for other friendly and sociable dogs! We both work completely from home, for the university, and any fur baby would never be left alone for extended periods. We live in a house with an enclosed garden, on the outskirts of Durham and we fully take advantage of the beautiful countryside walks around us. Being a husky cross, Kai is quite high energy so goes out on at least an hour walk each day, but we venture further afield on weekends. Any visiting dog can do the same (or can be scooped up and carried by me if little legs get tired!). Besides Kai, I myself have had a (somewhat shy and clingy!) Cockapoo whereas my partner, Duncan, has experience raising a boisterous and energetic Patterdale-Staffy cross, so we have experience with a range of doggy personalities and love them all!! Both Duncan and I work fully from home, so we are available throughout the day for walks and tuggy. We can set our own work schedule so we tend to take a couple of hours out of the day to give our dog a long walk at lunch time. We have an enclosed garden so your dog will be able to sniff about (and help Kai with his quest to dig up our entire garden...). We also have a large dog crate, if this is desired.
