About: I’ve lived with and cared for dogs all my life, ranging from big Labradors to tiny Frenchies, and even unruly Rhodesian Ridgebacks. My friends call me the dog whisperer because I gel so naturally with new dogs. I’m an actor so I’m available most times and really easy going and friendly. I’m known to be very reliable, and am looking to work with people in the long term so I could get to know them and their dogs better. I’m passionate about walking and spent most of my childhood on walking holidays with my dogs and family in the Lake District. As a nature loving person, I know the best dog spots and walks in London. I’m based in Central London, so can easily get to most areas of London.

About: My wife and I both grew up in houses that always had dogs although when we moved in together we always felt too busy to get our own. Luckily for us, mum and dad's dogs tended to stay over whenever they went away. We got the fun part of being around a dog, and the companionship that brings, but also the freedom not be tied down once they returned home. Now that I've retired, I'm free weekdays, weekends, evenings, extended stays or even staying at the dog's place if that was needed. Ideally I like seeing the same dog, or dogs, more than once so I can feel they see me as familiar and a small part of their lives. I usually miss them when they go home! We live right on the former railway line which is now a path and so is ideal. I love walking although am restricted to a steady pace because I suffer with ILD (lung disease). I can do fairly lengthy walks although can't go fast and hills really slow me down. This means that a small to medium sized (or an older) dog is my best fit although I have looked after dogs as young as one. Retirement means more availability so I'm ideally suited to being around for a dog when you're busy. I prefer to keep the flexibility that caring for other people's dogs provides, which is why I'm not looking to have a dog of my own full time. The fact I have the lung disease means it's best for me to keep active as much as I'm able and having a dog around gives the push to walk multiple times a day. We have very small garden which is fenced off but mostly it'll be walks to get out and about. We have an admittedly small 3 bedroom house so a small to medium size dog would fit best. The dog will sleep in the living room preferably in a bed provided by the owners. Although this site asks whether we'd allow the dog to be in furniture or beds, I'd prefer to stick with whatever it's used to at home.

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them is something that comes naturally to me. As well as having dogs of my own, I have professional experience working in animal kennels, where I cared for dogs and cats of all different breeds, sizes, ages and personalities. I currently have a French Bulldog of my own, so I know first-hand that every breed has its own individual needs. I’m particularly familiar with brachycephalic breeds and understand the extra care they can require when it comes to exercise, warmer weather, breathing and knowing when they’ve had enough. Your pet won’t just be looked after they’ll be treated like one of my own. I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of time to dedicate to caring for your pets. I’m available around my working hours during the week and have more flexibility at weekends. I’m very active, so walks, playtime and keeping energetic dogs entertained fit naturally into my routine. I’m also happy to work around your pet’s usual routine as much as possible. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always come first. I understand that every animal has their own personality, routine and individual needs, so I’ll always follow the care instructions you provide. My previous kennel experience means I’m confident caring for different breeds, sizes and temperaments. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or taking them out for walks, they’ll be treated with the same care, patience and attention I give my own. I sold my house a year ago , to take the opportunity to travel to new places both in UK and abroad. I have a base in a friends house whenever I need it and i enjoy travelling to new places. Therefore I have no home commitments. My friend who I stay with has a Boxer so I care for him when I am there. I have owned dogs all my life until my last two rescue girls died and have not replaced them yet so I can travel without worry. I ask people their pet rules,such as walking, feeding and care and adhere to those rules.

About: We have both always had dogs, growing up I lived on lots of land and always had 4 dogs which I loved to train and walk. We live in an area with immediate access to lots of walks and woodland (short and long) and love to go on long walks in our spare time. We have lots of dogs who visit us part time and are treat like family. We do lots of walking in our spare time, we have lots of different dogs who come to visit and are used to all breeds both big and small. All dogs get a minimum of three good walks a day and then extra if needed. We have a fenced front and back yard that backs onto fields within less than a minute, there are a number of short and long walks locally that range from ten minutes onwards.

About: I’ve been around dogs as long as I can remember. since recently moving out, I’ve really miss having them around, and rover is a great way for me to do something I genuinely enjoy. I’m confident with dogs of all sizes and understand patience, routine, exercise, and giving each dog the attention they need. I work full time and live alone, so owning a dog isn’t the right choice for me right now, but that makes me even more excited to help care for other peoples pets. I’ll treat your dog with the same care and affection I’ve always given the dogs in my own family. I work 3 days on and 3 days off. So i’m available full days on my days off. This means walks, play times, and check in’s. And since I don’t own any pets myself at the moment, your dog gets my full attention. I have grown up with dogs and regularly cared for my parents dogs for weeks at a time, making sure they are safe, happy, and sticking to their routines. My home has a safe and secure garden and is directly behind a large football field, woodland area and open fields. And as a police employee with a background check, owner can feel confident their pets are with someone responsible.

About: Coming from a family of farmers in County Durham, I grew up surrounded by animals; dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, sheep, cows and horses! I graduated university with a criminology degree and currently working part time so able to fit in to you and your pets schedule. I have my own means of transport - pet friendly, and able to take them to their usual or new spots. I am able to manage walking multiple dogs at once. I work part time, 4 days a week until 3pm. I am available to take your pets out either way. I’m an early riser to pet sitting can start any point in the day! I also have my own means of transport. I am consistent, reliable and luckily a housekeeper! Your home would be in very safe hands. In my own home my pets favourite place is my bedroom! I wake up to 3 cats and 2 dogs in my bed most mornings.
